This course shows you how to create a Life Chart that is an at-a-glance view of how satisfied you are with all areas of your life. Then is takes you through various exercises to identify what you do want, what's preventing you from having it and how to move ahead to get what you want and live the lifeĀ that will bring you happiness and satisfaction.

It is very interactive with a pdf chart for you to fill out and insightful questions for you to answer to help bring clear and helpful answers. You will finish with a chart that you can check out in the weeks and months ahead and update as you achieve your various goals.

1. Introduction: I feel Makhaya welcome to make your life work. This course is all about filling up your life with good things We're going to fill in. A chart on the child will show you what areas of your life you really satisfied with which years to life are already full. They've already guys much going on in them, as you would like. Ah, wish Juries are a little bit empty. Could do with a bit of a top up, and perhaps, or even some areas that need a big top up that really aren't doing very well that you're being neglected for other things. So by going for an addict to the chart, you see this you understand that it is visual for you immediately which areas air full of with Cherries or not. And they were going to ask you some very insightful questions to help you think about just what do you want on what would it take to get what you want? I did, just to think through it on ponder it and answer the questions that it really does help you clarify what it is you want in your life. Have what you could do, right now to start to get it. There may be some things you want in your life. You say There's no way I can get these right now and perhaps you can't. But usually there are some baby steps used to leave a seven little things you could do to start getting ready for when you can say the bigger steps to achieve it. So join me in this course. It's a very active got lots of stuff for you to do, and in the end you'll come out with a chart that will show you exactly where you are at a chart that will give you great satisfaction to fill in mawr as you take steps ahead in your life. So join me and let's make your life work. 2. Choose you how you look at life: choose how you look at life in this lesson, you're going to be looking at various areas off your life to see where you want to make changes on where everything is already just fine, as that's the first step to deciding on any changes you want to make. The titles here are just suggestions. Change any you like to better illustrate how you see your life. So here they are. There are eight career of finances. Fun, leisure, free time, health and wellness, social needs and wants friends and family giving back star vis to others. Life planning, personal, spiritually and educational, personal development and for your physical environments. Surroundings on location On this list off ideas for titles is in the pdf resource, so you don't have to memorize what you see here. Here are some ideas off what consider in each of the areas, but again, change whatever you like to make it fit for you. Career and finances. We look at first so for career. If you retired or otherwise, don't need or want to work, just focus on the finances part of this section, so we look at career as if you do work. Ask yourself. What do I want to do next? Don't want to stay in the same job. What would I like? A neutral? Is your workplace a nice place to be? If not, can you make some improvement to that? Are you happy with your business and workplace skills, or do they need some improvement on? Are you happy with the way you're working, For example, in business, for yourself or in a job? Consider these things under career on them for finances. Is there any cause for concern regarding your finances? Do you need to do some serious financial planning or make any changes to how much you spend or how you spend it? How would you rate your career of finances 25% 50 75 or 100? You couldn't rate them at any number you like, but we're going to put all this on a chart. So these splits off 25 50 75 100 will be easier to enter onto the chart. So take a note of what number you chose for career and finances, fun, leisure and free time. Why are you making time for what you love to do? Are you in tow arts, music, literature, sports and other hobbies. Travel on vacations. Just fun and laughter in general. Are you getting enough? Rest and relax, ation. How would you rate your fun Leisure and free time, So mark down what you choose for this area. The next Syria to consider is health and wellness. Are you keeping active getting exercise in whatever way you most enjoy? Are you eating well with your weight under control? Are you relaxed most of the time and not stressed out? Is there any healing you need to focus on? And are you taking care of your health in general? So how would you rate your health and wellness again? Always note what number you choose, because we'll be putting it on a chart in the next lesson. Next, this social needs and wants family and friends. If you have a significant other, is that going well or doesn't need some TLC? If you don't have a significant other, it's not something you're happy with. How is it going with the family with friends, acquaintances, any problems, anything needing your attention and social activities in general? Are you in showing them? Do you have enough of thumb. Do you have too many off them? How would you rate your social needs and wants family and friends mark it down? Next is consider. How are your giving back in service to others. Ah, full life includes giving back in one or some off many, many ways. But here, just a few to consider volunteering, helping others in general teaching what you know, mentoring someone you to your field or caring for these less fortunate than yourself. So mark down. Whatever you chose for that area, how are you doing in the area of personal development? Are you engaged in some farm off? Lifelong learning? If so, what? And are you enjoying it? What motivates you to Morse? What are you the most interested in? Are you living according to your values, morals and beliefs? Or is there any conflict there? How's your self esteem? Do you feel good about yourself? Do you feel you know your purpose in life? Do you feel fulfilled? How would you rate your personal development? And lastly, how are you? Physical surroundings. Your environment? Are you happy in your home? I happy with where you were living? The location the climate are you content with the immunities locally? And are you happy with how close or distant you are from your family? How would you rate your physical surroundings? Mark it down next on to life planning, which includes personal, spiritual and educational life planning. Have you set yourself goals you want to achieve? Are the realistic do the excite you? I hurt a stage where a big life transition is either here or coming. Are you ready for it? If you're older, are you taking care of yourself? I'm feeling good about yourself on life. This area also relates to the entire exercise in that part of life planning is to make sure that all areas off life are in balance. On this, you'll see more clearly once we add all the ratings you're currently doing to the chart in the next lesson. So how would you rate your personal, spiritual and educational life planning? 25 50 75 100. Next, we're going to create your chart and put all scores you just created onto a chart so you can see it all at the clubs 3. Create your Life Chart: number to create your chart. The chart is created in the table with eight columns and with four optional rose, there always are optional, but they do make filling in the columns easier. There's a pdf resource with a tape already for you to print out. If you don't want to make your own next right, the title in each column suggested titles are on the next slide. Here is suggested section titles again, but put in whatever you came up with in the previous lesson. Career finances. Fun, leisure, free time. Health and wellness. Social needs of wants families and friends. Giving back service to others. Life planning, personal, spiritual and educational, personal development and physical environments. Surroundings on location. The list of titles is in the chart the same document as to charge. The headings are off necessity written very small of the chart, but they say exactly what we just going over in the last lesson. So there's where you put them. Just one column per heading. So write your own column headings on your chart to reflect your own life priorities as we came out within the last lesson. Now fill in each of the columns to the extent of which you are satisfied with your life. Each of the four rules equals 1/4 or 25% off being totally satisfied. So if you're not happy with where you are, you may choose to fill in just a lower rule for that column. If you're okay but not totally content with an area of life, you may choose to fill in the to lower rules for that column. If you're pretty happy with an area of life, you may choose to fill in the three lower rose for that column. And if you're totally contents and please with an area of life, you may choose to fill in all the rules for that column. Segura has been filling your chart according to how you feel about each area of your life. But be very honest. There's no point in doing this. Exercise a tall If you're trying to fool yourself, feeling your heart, just how satisfied you are with each area in turn and then fill it in. You could just shade the chart with a pen or pencil, or you can use color. It really doesn't matter, so long as your chart clearly shows how fool each of the areas is in your life. Once it's all filled in, you'll have an instant view off which areas are great, which are okay on which you would really like to make some changes. Keeping your chart in front of you. It's time to move on and work out what it is you really want for these areas that are lacking. Next, what do you really want? 4. What do you really want: What do you really want? Look at your chart. I consider the following questions. What is the biggest surprise? What area did you perhaps never really consider before, or at least never consider that it was lacking. Or perhaps you're surprised how many of your columns were all those food? So what was the biggest surprise? How do you feel about how your entire chart looks in general? Contend discontent, motivated to do something about it? Think about each column in turn, and how are you presently spending your time related to it? They consider how you would like to spend your time. What's the difference? Which sections would you more slight to improve? It's not always the lowest scoring ones for everyone. How could you make space for these changes? What would you have to do and probably the most pivotal question of all. Are you willing to make these changes? If you're not willing, they won't happen. So think this one through carefully as you'll be just wasting time on energy if you try to make changes when you're not really willing to do so, can you make these changes on your own or what outside help would you need. What would it need to make its score 100%? What would that look and feel like with your chart in front of you again above each column , right briefly? What you really want for that column? If it's fine already, you don't have to write anything, but do add what you want to any column that's not already full. So there's some suggestions. Career and finances by a condo. Work with Children Fund, leisure time, Travel to Italy, ski, health and wellness, exercise more life planning, meditate more finished degree and physical environment or in my own home and live in the country. So these are just suggestions. Thes ones won't be yours, but it gives you some idea of what to write as to what you want. Now you've come up with what you want. Next we're going to look at where is what you want to come from. 5. Where is what you want to come from: Where is it to come from? Above Each of the columns on your chart that you filled out so far, right? Some ideas about where whatever you want in that area will come from. So there's the charges. You have it right now. Be creative. Some of the best ideas come from what initially look like silly over the top ideas. So where will it come from? What can you do right now? And I'm going to run you through just some suggestions for the ones that I have done just to get some ideas going for you. I realize yours will be very different, but this is the idea We're going with the concept. So under by condo work with Children for career refinances. I've put share apartment to save more, volunteer with kids to get more experience for ski travel in Italy. Put this on hold till the career is settled. But but but study travel books on Italy and take skiing lessons for exercise, more health and wellness. We've got just exercise more and eat more carefully the two middle ones, social needs and wants and giving back or full so we don't need any suggestions for them four. Life planning, personal, spiritual, educational. Meditate more finish degree We've got Take one more course par semester. Meditate for 15 minutes when waking Personal development is full and the last one is for physical environment. Surroundings You want beautiful art living country Have your own home So visit art galleries, drive out to the country and study homes I would love to have. So obviously these air just sample ideas and years will be very, very different. But do take the time to think yours out on Write them down. Coming up next from where you are to four you want to be 6. 6 From where you are to where you want to be: from where you are to where you want to be looking at your chart. What is the most pressing need? The most urgent thing to take care off? Why is it so urgent? What makes it top of your to do list? If it's so essential, why don't you have it the way you want it already? Well, it's being preventing. You are what's missing in your chart or what needs to be removed. What would you like to change? What first step can you take towards solving this problem and getting this need met? Just choose a small first step. You're much more likely to complete that's than if you plan a bigger step. Baby steps get you there sometimes much faster than giant leaps. I remember If you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always got. What can you do that's different? Then you've done before. What's your first new baby steps now? Look at the obstacle, he wrote down as a reason. You don't already have what you want in this area. Look, it's it long and hard. No, what? What? You wrote down, But will it said the back of it. Why is this obstacle appearing? Next? Look at all the areas on your chart that air not full to the brim, and ask yourself whether it's just possible, just possible that whatever is holding you back in this area might also be holding you back are causing problems in all the other areas. Too often we find we're getting in our own way. And if we do it in one area, we're usually doing a variation off it in other areas, too. In other words, the problem. The obstacle is very often not something or someone external, but sometimes it can be ourselves totally unconsciously. Causing these problems for ourselves tries to look at this with an open mind. It could be hard to accept, but once accepted, were there in a position to rectify things and move on. Write down any thoughts that come up on this point. Then, in the days and weeks, even months to come, considering new ways to go about achieving what you want, be aware of your inner hindrances on overworking to overcome them. If you decide it's not you, that's the cause, but purely outside circumstances that consciously worked to get what you want by navigating your way around on through these obstacles, no matter how difficult a problem or an obstacle, having a clear understanding of what it is on what you want gives you a much higher chance off overcoming it. Revisit your chart regularly and fill in mawr on each section as you achieve more. It breezed both hope and enthusiasm to see it getting filled up more on more. Congratulations on completing this course. Looking at your life so baldly is not an easy thing to do, but it reaps huge benefits to your ideal life.
