About This Class

I like using natural materials in my work.  Aside from being free, they challenge your creativity and make you see nature from a whole different angle.

After a storm there are broken branches, fallen cones, tree bark.  These all have potential to be transformed and become art.  In Australia, Aborigines use tree bark to paint on.  I always wanted to try something similar.

In this class we are going to use palm tree bark to make plant stakes.  Plant stakes are addition to your household plants to make your room more cheerful.  In addition to natural materials such as the tree bark you will need craft paint and few more items that you likely have in your kitchen.
