Project Description

Make HDR Images With Luminosity Masks

You can download from an online source or crreate your own Luminosity Masks, learn to make advance specific adjustments on your image or digital blend images for HDR. You need to shoot raw to use Luminosity Masks effectively.

Project:

1. Photograph a landscape such as a sunset where the sky is much brighter than the foreground.

2. Place your camera on a tripod.

3. Take two shots, first for a normal exposure of the foreground, second shot normal exposure of the sunset or sky.

4. Blend the two images using luminosity masks.

4. Make some final adjustments.

5. Upload the final result for us to see.

Student Projects

I had to use a public domain photo because I don't have any RAW photos I can post.
