1. 1 LumaFusion2 Intro: Hillary run. My name is Lawrence, and I'd like to thank you for choosing this course. This course will start you right from the beginning, and it assumes that you have no prior knowledge in limit fusion. You will need to have bloomin fusion on an iPad or iPhone or something that you can work along with us. The schools will take you from importing your media, doing your titles, transitions, all that type of thing. So the basics will show you the you I what it looks like, how to use it, and we'll move right into doing some color correction. But if sound all the tools that you need to make your project worthwhile will then move into something a little bit more advanced and then right at the end, I'll give you a project that I have basically just accumulated some media, and we can make our souls a little trouble video, and we'll go through and use all the tools that you have learned in this course. This course is based off Loomis fusion vision to they're the guys behind loom effusion periodically updates their software and the end in some pretty significant features. What I'll do is at the end of the course all adding sections as the new updates come out where I explain the update. And if there's anything significant that I can actually do a course on or a lesson on Sorry , I will do that and add it to the end to that new section on that version. That way you can continue to get value out of this course, hopefully way into the future again. Thank you for choosing this course and let's get started. 2. 2 Creating New Project and Managing Projects 2: in this. Listen, we're gonna have a look at creating a new project and managing projects as well as a little bit about the Yuhei itself. So when you first open refuge in this is what you're gonna be presented with Unless, of course, you already have projects. Then you'll see the projects in this bottom window. So in the top left here, this window over here, you would normally see your imported media. I haven't yet to important immediate into this applications. For now, there's nothing there. Over here, you would see a list of your project if you have already worked on a project in your lost open project will be year. And then over here you have your viewing window where you will see all your clips that you're importing or the timeline that you're working on down the bottom. Here, you see all your project specific buttons on the bottom left. Starting off with your create new project. When you click that you will obviously get your default settings, which I'll show you. What you sit them. We'll just call this this project one. The reason that you're not seeing a keyboard is because I have an external Bluetooth keyboard connected. Otherwise you would normally see your keyboard like this where you would use to top the default frame right over here is also sit in your preferences. You can change it here, as you wish, sitting into whatever. I normally use it at 30 frames a second, because that is pretty much a standard for four K. And, of course, 16 by nine is your standard SP Grecia off four K or uhd Full HD, etcetera. After you given it a name, you just clicked the plus button over here, and it'll create a new project to get back to the project's window. You use this button down the bottom right, which is your projects, and here you'll see your project listed, including the one we've just created, moving on with the buttons down the lift. Inside. The second button will be to import an existing projects. So if you at one some point exports of the project or backed up a project, this is where you'll go to actually import their project again, and you can see you can imported from various places. The next button long is to duplicate the project, so whichever project is highlighted. In this case, we only have the ones that taste Project one. When I click that you'll see, it'll create a copy of this. This isn't us if you have a project that you've been working on and you'd like to do some changes, but you don't want to change the existing project as it is, you could make yourself a duplicates and carry on doing all your head. Here, optimize and consolidate will duplicate the selected project. Optimize the media to resolve playback and export issues and copy it into a single folder in your imported La Brea and then consolidate will basically do the same. A lot of the media that your import will be compatible with your iPad. If you had media imported, that media would still remain in your on your iPad and your projects window. If you go over to the writer inside, yeah, you will see a search if you have a lot of projects listed here and you do want to find something that you have listed or put into the notes, which I'll show you how to do now, then this is where you'll go to when your actual project itself. You'll see that there's a little dot over here. Sorry. Let me get back there. If you click of their daughter, lie to color, code or color. Tag your projects. This is good for organization. If you got a lot of projects and you want to know that any vacation videos, maybe that you're doing or green and any work videos that you're doing or maybe orange? Whatever the case is, you can color code them and basically help the organization off your project. And the next to that you get the project name and then a notes. If you click on the notes, you can now go and add a note. This is good. If you basically want to remember something that you need to do the later stage or if you have multiple people working on a single project, then you want to send that project to them. But you want to give them notes and say, Ah, I don't like the color. Please change or whatever the case may be, you know, have a notes attached, and then the next time you go to that project, you can remember Ah yes, I need to change the color or whatever the case may be going further along, you'll see the duration of the project over here on this project. We haven't even started. So of course it zero duration the frame rate, the aspect Russia, the date that you corrected the project and Tom and the lost date that the project was edited on at the bottom, right inside of the project window. You will see a search facility if you have a lot of projects and you have added in notes like we did with our previous project. This is where you would go to you. We go to the search facility and, uh ah, color ripped color and it'll pick up because I have actually head of good color in the notes there. So if you click on that, you can fool to your projects again. If you got a lot of projects here, you could fall to them by title, but dates ascending, descending. Um, the collar tag that you've used the notes creates a date, modified date and duration. So there's a lot of options. They If you do have a lot of projects, you can fool to them and get to what you're looking for. And of course, you can do it descending or ascending. 3. 3 Project Settings and Global Settings: in this lesson, we're gonna have a look at global sittings and project sittings. So in the bottom left right inside story, you'll see there's a little gear icon. This is where all our settings are your take on it. When you first open up your settings, you'll be first with your current project settings. This is the project that you have opened at the moment. You can change the frame rate here. Expect pressure in the background color to pretty much whatever you feel like. Obviously, this is not something that you're going to really see if you have video on there. But if you have a transparent image or something like that, then that Becker and Cattle coming to play. Then you have your clip defaults the fit mode. So we import like a image or a video, something that is not of the same aspect. Ratio is your video is, then this is how you can sit it and the behavior when he first imported obviously again, you can change any of these on the fly. But when you first imported, this is how it's gonna operate. So this is fit, little shrink, whatever image or video down to fit within the frame that you have full, which is your default. Settle full, the frame completely handle. Chop off the top bottom left or right, whichever and focus so you can focus on a piece of the image. And, of course, stretch. I don't think anybody really uses it, but it is they. If you do need to, you have a use for it. I'm just leave it at the default off full underneath it. These are Tom Ing, so these are just default timings. When you import photo into a timeline, it'll default to two seconds long again simply by stretching it at original See later. Listen, you can change it to whatever you want. The same with titles. When you first started title, it's going to be default to do four seconds on the timeline and transitions. Your default transition is one second. The next have along is ducking. I'm not gonna explain ducking in this lesson. It will be a later Listen. We got preferences thes your default preference is first of all, so when you start a new project This is just the settings that is going to use to start off with again. As you saw in a previous listen, you can change it as you go. It's just frame rate aspect ratio, which they are many off and number off project backups to keep it automatically backs up your project. So this is just the number. It'll keep replacing the oldest one with the newest one as you go along User interface clip stall. This clip stall is in your time line and you just because, yes, that I can show you. Okay, so we have a clip over here, you'll see that there is a little image there and then your audio way for Let's Go back to Preferences and you see that is normal so you'll see the little image as well as three audio way for, But you can have it with no image. That's quite nice if you want to work on sound only and you just want the image out the way . For while you're doing that, you can quickly come and say to tear, We'll just leave it It normal for now with both show touches. Obviously, I've got that on because I'm busy during lessons. Reverse frame step just her. These suggested to go from frame by frame on the actual preview screen up here. I'll show you that in a later listen, but the skin You can change it to go the other way as to the standard way that it is, and we got some advance sittings. The preview sitting is just the quality off the video that is going to play within your preview, depending on the strength of your device. I haven't said to best, but you could set it down to balanced or forced us. You'll get a lower quality preview, but remember, that doesn't effect the final product. That is just what you going to see while you're editing here. The final product you have to sitting specifically for that, which will determine the quality of that video. These are some defaults for inserting new videos. Ripple, Main trek for transition insert. So when you insert a transition between like you see, I've got run over there between two tricks. It'll move those tricks left and right, and squeeze it in so that it doesn't just overwrite pieces of video. This is basically how it's going to work once you on link a trick. So if you look, it's a lock, the entire main trick here, anybody else that are linked, you can see they're linked by this little line that goes from the top video down to the bottom video. That line will go away so that that can still be edited and moved while this obviously is then locked. If you now move this because it can still be moved this piece of this trek over here, that one will move along with it because its link to that trick. But if you don't like that behavior, this is where you will go to, say remain linked. And then, of course, if you take a snapshot what format you wanted P and G or J pig. To me, that doesn't really matter, so just leave it at whatever the default, ease off the preferences you have clean up. This is exactly what it's it's Ah tells you, gives you a bit of information down here with imported media. How much space that's taking in use in use, processed media and the course allows you to clean up that media. If you go clean up temporary files, that's always going to do all the temporary files that optimized falls, etcetera, that it's created. It'll clean those up cached files. The Journey to use win uploading. 4. 4 Importing Media and Supported Formats: in this. Listen, I'm going to show you how to import your media into limit fusion, your various ways to do it festival or the standard ways that limit fusion supports. As far sources go, you have photos. This is your photos, but you can get into and import photos or videos, or whatever the case is. You'll also notice that there's a breadcrumb at the top. Little allow you to never get your photos or wherever you happen to be in as well. So if I go to videos, you'll see my hand. I have videos and photos. I can click. Then it'll take me back to photos. So if I going to select a far, you'll see that the little cloud icon over here means that it's sitting in the cloud simply by dragging a piece off the video or the entire video over to your timeline. It'll download that video and edit your Tom Ron. You distribute that second along is no box support Now. I don't have no box myself, but you can connect wirelessly to a no box and get your media directly from there, framed out Iose integration into world frame dot io and It's a more professional platform for delivering and editing and getting feedback on media for professionals imported. This is basically where all the stuff that you are actually importing from various places will be stored on your iPad storey blocks. This is a subscription service. Although there is some free media, you'll see there's a few that are marked as free in a later listen. I'll actually go into the media supplied by storey blocks and how to get it all in and what have you. But just know that it's a source off stock footage, sounds music. That's up a thing that you can also bring in titles. This is the titles that you either created yourself or the standard ones in bloom. Effusion. As you can see, there are quite a few again we'll get into actually using titles in a later listen. Transitions. Same story. These transitions provided barley infusion and our tunes cartoons. My kids, once access to will allow you to select music and videos from iTunes. At least that's the theory. I've yet to find music that is actually allowed to be used because you actually paying for the subscription. Generally, you're not gonna be able to use most of the stuff that you have in iTunes in your videos, but it's there in case there is something that you've created that you put into iTunes. You can then go and get it from iTunes. These are the basic sources that you can get from the other way to get it is you'll see there's an import button at the top, right of your sources. Yeah, and this provides you a whole lot of other ways to get in your media. Generally, this is where you'll be going to if you've got media stored on the computer that you want to bring in via iTunes or if you have a network drive that you want to use, or if you would just go to your iCloud, etcetera, etcetera, these old places that your dues if you go, I can't. It'll open the cloud interface, the different sources or fear lee endless. As far as this interface goes, because you can keep adding different sources into your files EP on your iPad or phone, and from there you can actually then go to Google. Various upset I've got on here my cloud external storage, etcetera etcetera. So there's a lot of places that you can import from. Ty S gets updated confusion, then also adds in more sources that are supported by eyes. When I you can go there to our cloud drive, you can connect to a wireless or network drive your dropbox box. Google, Dr One Drive or cartoons fall sharing to use the iTunes fall share. What you do is you go over to your PC or Mac and you open up iTunes and you select. You're in this case I paid, and then you go down to you'll see here fall sharing in false hearing. You just scroll down until you fund Lima Fusion, and then you can just go to whatever fall that you want to put their and simply dragging across and drop it There. It is more and more support for various media tops, but you may still come across media types that are not supported by limb fusion because they're not supported by the operating system. There may be issues as we saw in the previous listen with the project's window. You can use the optimization facility in the Projects window to optimize that video, so if it's not compatible, you can make it compatible. To a certain extent. They are still some videos that won't convert, but most will 5. 5 Managing Media and Viewing Meta Data: infusion, Managing your media and viewing the different information on that media is fairly simple. You'll see all the media is basically viewable in this top left window. There's a clip that I imported recently. Now you don't have to have it. In that particular view. You can change the view off the clips by clicking down here. You'll see the list, and it will actually give you a view. Options. So this is on order, so it'll change depending on where it is. If it's just a directory structure for folder structure, it'll listed. If it's actual images or clips, little view the images. You see it there, but you can force it to just use the list year. Oh d seven l view I normally leaving on list view between We were not automatic. If it doesn't really matter to you, you can also listed by title creation datemodified date size, color notes, duration resolution, frame rights frame. Expect Russia and sample right so many options that you can use to list your images and video. And of course, you can do it ascending or descending when you have an image or video highlighted, it will appear in your viewer on the right inside your This will give you a few extra options. You'll see down the bottom left. Here is an information button. If you click that once, it'll show you the basic information on their clip. The video format and frame right, the aspect ratio and resolution, the audio they shall fall. Name the size and the data was created on. You'll see there's another two things at the top here, which will allow you to rename it and to give it notes. So if we click on rename, it's obviously we can go and say Change it to that. Search all your clips for various things and you can search all of them or just imported folder. You can search the name of the item, the notes and various other things pretty much everything that is listed here you could search on. So for those of you that have hundreds and hundreds of clips and huge op ed storage, you can then go and organize your clips and search through them in a room infusion. You can also have different layouts, so you don't have to have this default loud with the media here, the view here and the timeline here you can go to the bottom right inside and see this button over here, and you can sit any of these view tops of her changes there. That's which is the media library and the view around and various other layouts, depending on what your preferences. Obviously a lot of these lads will depend on the size of the device that you're using to edit another facility that loom infusion has is to airplay or to display this preview window on an external screen. The viewer, no matter what I do, is long a selecting those. The viewer will remain on the TV. So if we select this one, the 1st 1 what it is is your timeline. Obviously, with your view still on the monitor, the next one down is just Jewell La Brea. But you can still scroll along at the top play, etcetera. Of course, there's all appear on the wanted to, and then the lost one, which is my preferred one. We'll give you both your library at the bottom here and your timeline at the top, giving you much more space to work on your timeline while still having your preview on the biggest screen. If I press play, you'll see that you getting a nice preview. So this is a great way if you have an office or a base that you go to to work with your iPad. You can still continue to work on limit fusion but have an external monitor to make it a much more compelling piece of software to use in an office environment as well 6. 6 Previewing and Importing Clip Segments: in this. Listen, we're going to show you how to bring clips into your timeline in different ways. So the first way is if you go to your imported items or places like yam in photos and video , and you just double tip on an item again in this case it is to actually download that atom from the cloud. But simply by double tapping on various items, it'll lead them to the timeline one after the other. The other way to import items is if you actually want to import just a section off a specific clip. So here we have a Gordon picture and you'll see there's a little handle on the left, inside and on the right inside of the timeline down. Yeah, and what will happen is, if you dragged us along, this will be the start of the piece that you want and the back piece of Yeah, it'll be the end piece. This is the in and out peace. You also see there's a corresponding little image down the bottom here that you can simply tep to do the in and this one over here to do the out point say, if I was maybe playing over here and I wanted in point to be there could simply tip that. And if that point I could simply tap that, it'll be the same thing as if I was just dragging them to the position that I want. You can also reset the in and out point by simply double tapping within the in in our point of view here. They simply by dragging down on the preview like this, you can do the in point and simply by dragging up on the preview like this, it'll sit on that point. You'll see those a little double a remark that if you hope, click and hold and then drag you can then keeping the same Tom of your initial selection. You cannot drag it around to maybe a different point. Maybe you've decided that you'd want it just a little bit further, and it will keep the same duration as before. Another way to get a clip to the timeline is, if you have it selected and you have you in and at points it, or if you don't have an in that points it, it'll just merely add the entire club. You'll see there's a little air to Tom Line button here that you can simply click, and it'll add that to the Tamra again. Little any aired the segment that you have sitting in that point for. 7. 7 Offline Media and Supported Formats: in this lesson, we're gonna have ourselves a little bit of a discussion now with working on iPads or iPhones or any of these top of the mobile device is. One of the biggest problems is making sure that you have your media available to you at strange times when you don't have Internet. Like when you're sitting on a plane, were sitting in a hotel room at some place the way they're just doesn't have a decent Internet connection, and you now need to work on your project. The other way that I've been using up into up until this point is by basically leaving everything on SD cards, whatever camera amusing or whatever device I'm using. I leave all the photos, all the video on those devices. And then, as I need it, I'll use a standard Apple SD card reader or one of the many third parties court readers that are available. And then I'll just copy onto my head as I need the video from my camera or the SD cards. In this case, then you. A problem with this is that you obviously need to have an additional SD cord with all the extras with the audio, with the images for your titles, all that type of thing already available to you. You can, of course, if you're in a hotel room or something like that, you can plug using one of these multi adapters. Also, this is the Apple version. It's got a USB port in it so you can plug your camera directly into that and copy your media directly off your camera into again. You're prepared in this case and have it available to you. So that's one way of doing it. Another way is away. That's Bean serving me quite well for a few years now is I have this at this point. Not exactly a new divorce. It's a just a wireless device, a wireless hard drive. There are quite a few available these days, and it also has a SD card reader on it like this one. The problem I find with these is because you connect to them wirelessly. They obviously have to have their own battery, which is limited, and the copy speed from these devices is not fantastic. So, you know, it would always be quicker to plug a STD cord directly into your device and copier media off that way than one of these. The nice thing is about these is that you can put all your SD chords on here because of the large amounts of space. This one is a two terabytes. You can use it as a backup device, So copy all your media on there and then going copied onto your are paid or net for usage so that I've been using it at the point that I'm making this video. These on iPad Specifically I paid I notice Vision 13 which is imminent for release. At this point, I've been testing it end. The nice thing about it is that you're gonna plug in full SSD drives or some drives which will allow you a lot more backup options so you can copy all your images and media onto a little external SSD drive. And wherever you all, you can simply plug it in and have access to everything that you know have been there. And they are quite large and size wonder about two terabytes. 500 gigs, etcetera. Obviously first prize would be Copy it all onto your iPad if you have the space available imported all into bloom infusion beforehand and you have it ready to go. If you are on the plane and decide to edit it. Luckily, there are a lot of options to, as available to us now with more coming out. The problem with something like this is that you need to make sure that your files are in the correct format. Fulham infusion to use or close enough that you can use limit fusion to convert them to something more compatible. I've had instances we are short 10 but video on various devices and then try to copy directly into the fusion. And fusion will not even look at it simply because it's just not a format that it supported by the IOS device. So be careful with it. In loom, effusion is a pretty simple process you see at the bottom. Here we have a timeline, and we have our cursor over the middle off an existing clip. If I know double tip on the clip that I have selected in the top Roger. You'll see it inserts it and moves the clip that it's over writing both left and right, so it's actually making a spot for itself in there. It's not consuming any of the existing clip. In other words, it's not over writing any of existing club. Let me just undo that. You see, it's a solid clip, and it's now moved That part of the clip to the right left this part of the Clipper. It is an inserted itself in between. Just don't do that again, Okay? If you see on the left hand side, you'll see there's a little error selection on the timeline. What that is the changes the insert mode from overwrought sorry from insert too overwrought . So if we click on that, you'll see it's now going to override. If I do the same thing with the same clip now, you'll see it just replaces the portion off their clip with the maximum length off the clip that we inserting over the clip that was there. So it's no longer moving this lift piece, this rock. Be sorry over to the right and making space for itself. It's now just over acting that section with the clip that we're putting on there. So that is your overwrought return to back now to insert. And if you are sitting in between two clips and you put it there, it's going to nicely fit itself between those two clips. There are other ways to insert your clips. If you have, it's the clip selected. You'll see in your preview window at the top. Here. You also have a insert button simply by pressing that McCain market, suppressing it twice. It'll put in the clip. It'll use either overwrites or insert, depending on their selection over on the left hand side here. So, as you can see, not replacing you can change. Of course, as we saw in a previous listen, the amount of the clip that you want inserted simply by dragging these two ends and clicking the incident. But actually our timelines getting kind of missing. With all these inserts, the other way to put Let's just put that back there. Another way to put clips into your timeline is simply to drag them. So if we select this clip, we close slicked and hold and we drag it down. You will now be able to do both types off insert. You'll see it's highlighting the entire clip. In other words, it's going to replace their clip. So if I drop it now, it'll give me a selection. Replaced the clip and Ripple Tom Line. In other words, replace this section Because this clip is shorter than the one that we have replacing, it was going to ask you whether you want to ripple it it. In other words, pool. The writing clip in settling plate replaced the entire clip. It's just going to ripple it. It, in other words, dragged the proceeding clip, which is this one to be in the same point at the end of this club. Just undo that. I can show you that again. If you have the selection over here said to insert, if you drag your clip to between two clips, you'll see you'll get the little insert icon. In other words, if I drop this now, just going to move the clips left and right, and in this case, only the writing clip, it's going to move it and insert itself within their again, depending on what your selection is here. If this was selected to overwrite it, just going over out. Whatever's underneath show you there. You go to the same place. It's not gonna give you that selection. It's just gonna replace everything there. If I wanted to replace that shorter clip and I let go. It's going to ask me what which time. I would like to keep the short eclipse time or they clip that I'm over writing with debts. Tom. Of course, this is all presuming that you're using the main clip. You don't have to use the main timeline. Sorry. In other words, this Tom line here. What you can do is actually put it on to a different TAHMEENA. I can put it on it's own timeline altogether, and it'll automatically link you see by this line here to this clip. So if I move, this clip clip will move along with it. As you can see, it's still going to because it's above its We're going to show their clip and then move back to the lower clip. And, of course, you get moving around and put it on whichever trick you want. If it anytime during your editing, you need to find a button, which you cannot remember where you where it is. You'll see the help facility down the bottom right inside. If you press and hold that helped facility the little gear icon, you'll see that Oh, Marcus pop up showing you what each thing does and what each thing is cold. This is a quick and easy way to find something if you can't remember where it is. 9. 9 Quick Add: if you never get to the beginning off whatever composition you're busy working on, you'll see the bottom. We have a little button with a plus in it. This button is your quick aired button. If you are as we are at the moment at the beginning of a clip or between two clips, you'll see that we have various facilities yet voiceover. We'll get into that in their later listen. But that's basically what it sounds like. You can add a voiceover from that point transitions this lead in the first transition in your transitions menu. This one here blank clip. This isn't us if you want to insert a blank section within your timeline, to maybe come back later and in. So it's a media that you haven't recorded yet or for various other reasons. You see, if we put that in there, just zoom in a bit. You'll see. There's now a blank clip there, indicating, of course in large. It make it smaller, etcetera. It's get too into section again. Main title. This will end in a title onto your main trick, the strict being your main trick. You see, they're just inserted the basic title into the main trick, and the last one is overlay title. The third tool is the linking tour. You see this clip that we now have selected. There is a small line attaching the top clip to the bottom club that's linked to the bottom clip. So if I do something with the bottom clip like I pick it up and move it, you see the top clip comes along with it. So whatever I do to this bottom clip, we have a movie to belong to. A different section. That clip will remain at the same position, says Drop it there, however, for select their clip, and I now click the and Link button. That clip will remain where it is because it is no longer linked to this clip again, you can relinking it simply by doing the same thing in reverse. The next battle long is the edit button. So instead of double tapping on a clip to get into the edit screen, you can simply click this, and it will take you to your edit screen, where you can ah use the various edit facilities. As you wish. It's the same effect as if I was to double tip on that clip. I would do the same thing the next button along. These are your presets, so This is if you want to quickly ed a transition or you see yeah, you can add effects. Maybe you've got some fix that you could just quickly add that you know that you're going to use some motion or some sound effects if the kid has sound on it. This is just a quick and easy way to access those without going into the full blown edit screen and having to navigate to those. The next button along is your copy that your clipboard so you can copy attribute. So if I click it, you can see that I can now copy various attributes. This is basically your frame and fit. This is your capacity. This is your sound or any changes that you made to the sound. This is any changes you made to the color, and this is any changes you've made to the clip itself as faras cropping, etcetera. So all of these attributes can be copied. So if I was to click copier and now moved along to another clip that had the same properties, and I knew that this is exactly what I wanted to do to it, I could then go and paced but I don't need to paste all of those attributes. I can just say, OK, maybe it's just the color. The color changes that I want to paste. So Aiken de Select, you'll see the They're blue and they selected and they want when they d selected. Now the anyone have left selected is the color. So if I paste that any changes that are made to the color on the bottom clip or the source clip will now be applied to the top clip. You see this little information button over here. If I click this information button, whatever clip I have selected in this case, it's this one here. I will get a brief information window, so it's a very small information. We know just going to give you the basics. How long the clip is the frame rate, the resolution aspect ratio. What code? Tickets? Using the megabits off the Kodak that it was recorded in and the sound fall for met and hurts. But you also see this A extended button over here, these three little dots. If I click that it will now give me the full information window. You can do various things. Yeah, you're gonna rename it like so which we're not going to do right now. You can put some notes in you can change the color tag, whatever the case is. Yeah, And then it gives you all that information that was on the smaller preview information window accepted, not ads in things like fall size that dates that it was created in Tom, etcetera. They clicking information button. We'll, of course, just close it down. We can minimize it to the smaller one by kicking little air in the bottom. Right? Fusion is a fairly simple process to move checks around or clips around. Simply pick it up, and you cannot, depending on your overall mode gun inserted between something where you can replace a clip , whichever your choice. If we change the edit mode to over right, we of course, can go and just insert clip wherever we feel like replacing existing areas. When you're in overwrought mode like we are now, you can also create spaces that you might want to use for later inserting a clip. There. You just want to space a so that you can see exactly how things will pay an app. And then, of course, we can go and insert something in there and chicken finger and put it in there. Okay, that video was definitely not the right length for there, but you can see the idea. If you want to zoom to see the entire time line, you simply double tip anyway. That's not on a clip. You can go to the beginning and end off previous and next clips. As you can see here, by pressing and holding, you can actually advance or go back a frame at a time. So like we were doing by swapping left and right on the view itself, you can ah, violence. We'll go back one frame at the top. But holding down. If you push down and hold on the play button, you'll see that the entire area now becomes a scrolling will to scroll through your timeline. Another thing you can do on the timeline is you can set tags so you see there's a little tag button here. If I am at a certain point in the timeline and I want to air Gitega, simply click on it and I can either ed a color and a message. Do something, and now you have a tag, as you can see over here on your timeline, which you can now simply click on. If I was over here somewhere on the timeline and I wanted to go do their TEGA simply click on the tag, it'll take me to their position and open up the take so that you can see what it says. Nice. Wait again to remind yourself or if there's multiple people working on a project, you can leave notes for each other that way, and it's specific to a position on the timeline. And then, of course, who can do anything without your undo and redo buttons, an essential for any workflow you have you under and you have your region 12. 12 Trimming Splitting Duplicating and Deleting Clips: moving a clip in limit fusion on the timeline is a simple case off picking it up and dragging it around to where you want to, either inserted between other clips or hover over. It'll pose certain limitations on where I can drop it. If we put it over there, you'll see over there. There's a little white line that means that that trip in this clay in this case it's audio is linked to the clip. They you get an link it by simply stepping on the clip that you wanna and link and then hitting the link button at the bottom. Now, when I pick up this clip and I dragged around, I can then go end, do all the things that I could do before. But now I don't have the clip coming along with it. At this point, we are in insert mode, as you can see by this icon here. If I tempt this, it goes to overwrite mode. So now if I take that same clip and I drag it, you'll see that the other clips are not gonna move to full the space that I am leaving with this clip and I can literally drop it over any other clip, and it will simply replace. It's not going to ask me or very Father. That's what I want to do. It's going to replace that section of the clip. You can see when I'm remove it again is now space here in a space there where I took the clip from just under that also in overwrite mode. If I grab the end off the clip and I drag it onto another clip, I get this clip is not long enough to do that. You'll see that it's replacing the clip underneath it, whereas if I was in insert mode and I did the same thing you see there, other clips will move along to fool the space and won't get replaced Going back to insert mode over at mode. Sorry if I now pick up this clip and I move it along to leave a space, I can do that and I can only do that in over a remote insert mode will just drag the other cups a long and full of space. This is useful if you wanna add a clipping at a later stage or you just want some space. For now, you were to put a title in etcetera to cut a clip in Lima Fusion. You can either select the clip that you physically want to cut. Remember that little always cut with the play head Is this long? That's over here. So the Clipper wanna cut to say this clip at the top here are selected, and then I hit. Either thesis is our corn, which you see Yeah, which will cut it just under that or with two fingers. It doesn't matter. It's and do those. I can do the same thing by simply selecting a clip and obviously hitting the scissors. If I do not have a clip selected just under that, it'll cut through every single trick. Whether it's audio, video, images, titles, it doesn't matter that is below the play it. So click the scissors and you can see it's cut through everything underneath the play head . That's quite good. If you're editing multiple tracks and you want to cut everything at the same place, then that's great. Otherwise, you must just select the cup that you want to cut. Hit the scissors and it'll cut it there for keyboard. If you are using a keyboard attached to your iPad, the commander's old ex, see if we want to remove that space is actually a market for that space. Weaken grape something and go and drop it on there. You're editing a version of their clip that will be rendered at at the end, so experiment with your editing and see what you can get at. 13. 13 Slip and Ripple Edits Performing J and L Cuts and Detaching Audio: in a previous listen. We showed you how to do the basic edits so you can grab the end off a piece of video that you've inserted, and you can drag it up and down and it'll work fine as long as, obviously, over here you're in insert mode. If we change that to overwrite mode, obviously now if we drag this clip, it's going to override the clip that is underneath it or leave a space. If there's no clip underneath it like that now, put from those edits, you can also slip it it. So basically what a slip it it is, is you'll see that this we go to the information button over here, you'll see that the clip that we've got selected they were using 8.13 seconds and the turtle clip length is 14.3 seconds. So you're only using a piece of that which is normal. But say that we don't like the exact piece, and we you now want to move that section. That's Election Day. But to keep the same amount of time you use this button over here, which is thesis Lipitor button the slip edit button. You only become visible if you have a clip selected. If there's no clip selected like that, you'll see it's not there. You'll also see that there's a little drag back on in the middle of the clip. Now we're clicking and holding on that. You can move the actual selection off the clip or the port of the clip that you're showing in the timeline with still keeping the same Linz off the cliff so either by drinking it around, you can then change that selection. Or you can simply move your play head to the point and say, Okay, well, this is where actually want there to start, and you can either just click the in button. Yeah, which will move that whole selection still keeping the same length over all. Say, I wanted that to be the end. I could then just swept up for that point, or if I'm over there and swept down for the input. This will just move that selection over to that exact point either the beginning or the end . If I used in point or at point again, you don't have to swap. You can just click the button and it'll do the same thing. That's my point. Mole edit moves over and, of course, kicking outside off. The selection will then de selected, and your cup has now been updated to the new section that you have selected another two edits or they're actually named a J in and out it. Let's assume that the audio on this clip that we have selected now is somebody talking and then orating about this particular place that we are now. But at this point, or it's at a point over here somewhere. He actually starts talking about this dish, so at that point we want him to keep speaking. But we still want to you now show him the dish. And now we can just select the track with that, we want the audio from and move it along. So now we have a J. It. Now, if this video we'll continue playing, but the audio will start from the video underneath. When doing this, just remember that whatever's on top is going to show. So it's very much like for you to shop players or anything like that. This video on top here with our food is going to show in this video underneath you. As you can see, even though I'm on the same point, is not showing anything. It'll only start showing once they're clippers finished. So we are effectively using the audio from their clip because this clip doesn't have any order. If this clip did have audio, what we would have to do is then go to the point where this audio we wanted to start and then make the audio go quieter or just simply remove it or delete it from that point on, depending on what you need, I'll actually show you how to deal with some audio in a listen coming up. But for now, you know know how to do your J and l it it's Andrew slip in it. 14. 14 Working with Multiple Video Tracks and Clip Linking: in the division, you can work with multiple tricks. In this case, depending on the strength of your device, you might be able to work with up to six video tricks off, varying between full HD video and four K video. Even with murder of us, which is the latest are paid pro, it cannot play all six tracks off four K video back at the same time with that Christian. Six video tricks and six audio tricks is pretty much anything that you could ever want fell . Zoom in. In a previous listen, we've actually mentioned this. You'll see this little white line there and was over here. You'll see. There's also a little white line joining it now that is, linking that clip to whatever is on the main Tom line and the same for the bottom one. In this case, both of those are linked to this clip in the timeline. In the main trick. Sorry. And if I picked this up in a moving around and I go and put it somewhere else, like over there, you'll see that the audio and the video come along with it because they are linked. I can, however, let me just move this back again. Se obviously, the audio I went there to remain the even If I do miss around with the main trick because that's my background music or whatever the case is, so I can just select the audio, hit the linking button at the bottom, and it's not unlike. So now if I decide to go and move the server to there now, I don't want to do that. Zoom out a bit so that it doesn't get confused. Now if I want to go move this over there, I could do so, and only the top clip and its position on the bottom clip will move along with it again. With working with multiple tracks of video, you must always remember that what it was on top is going to take preference. Between these two clips here, you can not put a clip on top of that, which makes for a transition between these two clips underneath 15. 15 Live Mixing Fading and Key framing Audio2: in this. Listen, we're going to add audio and work with audio in our main timeline festival. You can see that I've added in a music trek which I simply got from storey blocks, which is Aziz, you know, source off stock footage, music, etcetera. And I edited to my first rodeo trick. Now, if you play this, you'll see that it's quite lad I want. This is a sort of a background trick. Now, what I can do is I can either go on the left hand side yet. You see this these meters on the left hand side. Yet this is the audio sitting for your entire project. So if I start dropping things yet, the entire project, whatever audio have got in the this is going to drop. But we don't want that. We only want that audio to drop. So I'm gonna leave that over there. The alternative method is to see down the bottom Here. You can open up your audio meters for each track. The more treks it you've got populated. Obviously, the more of these will show And on this trick here, I couldn't just go end, drop it down to something more pleasant around there. Do you have your moulded up? Okay, that's it's a nice level. However, the problem with doing that is if I decide to add any more audio onto this trick, said the injured, I wanted to go ahead in another audio track or some sound effects. So what we can do is invent your festival, reset this specter zero for the entire clip. I'm going to double tip on the clip, and the first thing I'm going to do is just can set the level to what I thought was a nice , pleasant listening. I mean, Victor might bring it up a little bit on Leave it around about modesty, so that's just the nice level. It's Listen, that's not especially if there's no talking than that's fine. And then over here, when it goes to this clip, I wanted to drop even more. So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to position over the clip. Well, we are. Went the drop to start, and I'm going to click on the key frame icon over here, which is gonna add a key. Frame it. You'll see it's represented by a blue dot on the timeline here and a blue dot on the audio track over here. One thing to bury mind is that whatever key framing you're doing is subject to whatever you've got selected on the right inside the sound good pain selected. You'll see that my key friend that I hit on volume has gone away is normal key friend there , which means that whatever key frames that are dead now are going to be on the pan. So make sure that you have the correct thing selected in this case volume because that's what we're working with, and all your key frames are now related to volume. So we've set our point the way we wanted to start dipping, so I'm going to go along. And so I ran about here being asked place for to be at its lowest, and I'm simply going to drag the audio down a bit more, maybe down to about 14 15. You can also go incrementally. The reason for that is a sin is your head in one key friendless. Whatever you adjust on the controls on the right inside will then automatically start adding more key friends. And now that I've done that, I'm gonna move along to the end of this clip. When I wanted to start going up again just before that around about here and I'm going to click to add in another key frame. Now, I'm gonna go a little bit further, and I'm going to drag the audio back up to two are easy listening level and you can see it's nicely represented the dip in the audio down below. Yeah, to navigate between key friends. So you want to remove a key friend and you're over here. Somewhere on the timeline, you can use these buttons. These buttons will jump you to the next and previous key friend, So tip that, and we'll go to the next one. Next one. Next one. Next one. Once you are hovering over the offending key friend that you now want to remove, you can simply go and click this button. Here again. You'll see that when you're not on a key frame, this button will be white. So if I scroll out there, you'll see it now. It's what that means. It's going to add in another key frame if you use it now. But when I'm over a key friend, you'll see that it's now blue, which means that if I click that now, it's going to remove that key friend, which is what I normally do. If I was didn't want their key friend them, but I do want it now, the buttons on the left hand side. These will appear after the first key friend that you add what they will do this. They will remove every key frame on their trek, basically resetting it to what you headed initially. So that's a nice way to get rid of everything. I'm not going to do that now because I've just got the or the other way. I want it now. We can go back to the main trick and you'll see Exume in a little bit. It is also represented on the timeline by this line that is goes down and up again. It's notice pronounce because we haven't dropped the volume that much, But you'll see the high you get and then comes back up again. Very subtle. That's basically how you would go about dropping the levels on a specific point using key frames. 16. 16 How to record Voiceover and using External Microphone: to enter voice over into your project on rumor fusion. There's a couple of ways to do it. The first ways to use the built in tools in rumor fusion. So, basically what you'll do, she'll go to the point on your timeline that you want to know edge or voice over in. Let's say it's yeah, but pastor, and then we go and click the quick aired button on the bottom and you'll see that these voiceover, we click that and it opens up the voiceover interface at the bottom here by clicking on the three little dots there you can actually get in. You can sit a few things. Your gain the sample right and really want a Mourner Channel Wisteria Channel to be recorded and then simply by clicking the record button, it will give you a countdown. And of course, now you can record your voice over. At the moment, it's recording it through the microphone on the iPad, but you can plug in an external microphone if you have a USB adapter of some description for your op ed and making gun. Ever look at it afterwards, and of course, now you can record your voice over at the moment, it's recording it through the microphone on the iPad. Okay, so if we decide we like that, we can either just click the take care, which is okay. We accept that or weaken, reset it and go and start again. Or just close it and cancel out when they obviously play to check. If that's what we wanted, we'll click there a little ticked button to give us our voice over. So that's the one way again. You can use external microphones if you need a better quality. You can play gin. Most USB self powered microphones into the adapters that you get from Apple themselves. Those various third Quartey adapters as well as long as they have power and USB port on one connector so that you can provide power as well as plug in your USB device in this case, a microphone. Those will work fine. The other way is to use third party applications within your eyes, particular one that I'm using yes, called Audio. She it's basically does exactly what it's meant to do. It records audio and allows you some specific sittings that you could only do in 1/3 body application that Luber Fusion doesn't provide within. The application says you could see over here you can go sittings and you can sit various things. Your sample, right and all that type of thing. I'm not gonna go too much into details on this particular application. Suffice to say that you can use other applications to record your audio. The only downside with using an application like this is obviously you don't have the monitoring facility so you can watch the video so that you know that your voice over is happening at the right time. But you can record a voiceover. Yes, sir, simply by Okay, let's just record some random things here. Hi. This is a voiceover that we're going to import into limit fusion once it's finished doing its thing there, you can get share and stroll along, select the little more button, and we're still refuse in their copy to limit fuses. And then, of course, you go back to Lima Fusion. It'll generally be in under important items in a folder called Whatever your application is that you use, I've just moved it into the root of that imported folder, which is right there and then you can drag it and put it where you want court some random things. Here I This is a voice server that we got to importing to refuse, and then we have our voice over the tree imported again. You can see the video while you're doing it. You need to know exactly what you want to say for that video beforehand. But otherwise, if you have a USB microphone plugged into your op ed, then using the tools provided by limit fusion are generally pretty good. 17. 17 Adding Audio Fliters and Effects: before I tell you how to use audio decking. Let me explain what audio docking is. Your docking is basically what we did in a previous listen where you drop one lot of audio when another lot of audio is busy playing. So you drop in value money Over here, we have a voice over that we have created. And also we have some sound effects and noise happening in this clip that we wanted to have come through over the music. And as you can hear right now, music is quite loud and over us everything. You can't hear the voice over there. So what we do is we go to the clips that we want to cause the drop in volume. So the master clips in this case, it's this one over here, which is the the voice over that we recorded. In effect, I actually want to be state a little bit for demonstration purposes, and we go to configuration and you'll see a rodeo decking right over here. At the moment, I've already set this 12 monster that normally it would be said to none. So you need to sit that two monster and then the other clip that we want to use like that. We got the political net one, and we set this to master. Okay, so what happened now is this trick is the one that we want to drop, so we'll go to configuration and okay to release it to water. Some of them are useful, some of them or more fun than anything else that me go over to this again. An external microphone. If you have it, may care. And to add one of these filters to the audio trick, all you simply need to do is let's pick one here something interesting Pitch, click once on it and little air due to the section down the right insider. Everything in the section is basically applied to this clip that we have loaded. You could miss her under the pitch. It's Ah, go out to the beginning of the clip here. If you've got a lot of noise in your your audio that you want to get rid of, then try a couple of these before you use a different up to maybe work through your order. But there are some here that might help, like a low pass filter or something like that. 18. 18 Selecting Best Audio and Filling Channels: inland effusion. You can use the audio from birth, your left and right channel. This is good, if you say or recording a interview and you have using two separate microphones, one going into the left channel of exterior pay and the other one going into the right General of Hysteria. P. This is a common practice if you are doing things like interviews, but it can be used for other stuff, obviously. And it is my knee so that you have a backup or do your trick when you get back into the office. Or two are paired in this case, and you now want to see which of those audio channels is the best you can go to see here. We just have a music channel, which we're going to se is our We'll hear from our interview. You go into the audio by double tapping onto it and then you see here you have configuration. If you click on configuration, you'll see channels steer. So by default is gonna slick both channels and play them as hysteria p, which is pretty standard. However you can off, Do you decided? OK, well, the Left channel is better quality or the right channel is better quality full from one of those channels. In other words, populate the sick and channel with the audio from the first. It'll still keep the order from the second channel so that you will always have that as a back up. But it just won't play. It's obviously if you've done this. So let's say the left general was our best channel. We can just go simply full from the left, and that will take the audio from the Left Channel and put it into the right channel. And you know, I have best of both channels. Another thing to do is say, you've got multiple audio, the audio tracks that you want to work with in that way. So let's over here this video trek has audio image as well, and you've done the same thing. You've recorded audio from two different sources into two different generals on your left and right, as well as obviously, your oh dear, that separate. So we now say right, we want to use this order, but we want to do specific editing on that audio as well. Maybe you had four people that you're recording at the time or whatever the case is. By triple tapping on that video channel, we'll separate the audio from the video channel. You could not go and do the same thing. Select one of the channels full to the other channel like we did with the straight Order trek. Or you can duplicate it and then use 11 trek to duplicate from the left and another trick to duplicate from the right. Whichever the case is, there's a lot of flexibility with which channels in your steer appear that you want to use . Let's say this channel. We want to use Iraq General and the Left Channel, but we want to separate. You can think just going duplicate that audio by simply selecting it and hitting a duplicate button and, of course, going and putting it there. You can then go full, this one say from the lift, if that's your choice and take the other one and go full it from the right. So there's a little flexibility to use both channels in hysteria. Pay 19. 19 Frame and Fit: you can access the frame and fit features in loom effusion in two different ways. The first way is to merely DoubleClick on whatever clip that you want to eat it, and it will take you to frame and fit. You'll see at the bottom. Here we have Frame and Fritz selected in the frame and fit tab you'll see on the top, right. You have little refuge in presets, and if you have any of your own, you scroll down. You'll see those at the bottom, but we'll get into that in a bit on the bottom left. Here, you'll see the dog well that you can use to scroll through your clip. Left and right. You'll see the key framing button that we've used in a previous listen and your navigation buttons, which or the same no matter where you are, so you could play through it back, frame by frame. Hold it down. You can the play button down and it'll automatically go into a loop mode, beginning of clip end of clip. Unless, of course, you have key frames and will go to the next key frame. Next, keep previous key frame and then just below the presets on the right. Inside, you'll see these a lot of buttons. The 1st 1 will allow you to. You should let me get a place which transitioning allow you to flip your clip they were next to. It will lie to rotate your trip 90 degree increments. If you have done some changes and you like to reset it, that's what the third button will do. Little fitted back to the frame and then fourth button is if you have created something using all the tools below and you want to save it as a preset. This is where you'll go to do that, and then the 1st 1 at the top is footnote. That's pretty self explanatory. That's the way the clip will fit into the frame. If you have something like an image that you busy using frame and foot, then obviously this will be more relevant than a piece of video, which would probably be the right aspect ratio, anyway, cropping again, self explanatory. You can cross from the left, so right, but, um, and when she have cropped, you can't soften the edges. Good a corner radius, etcetera. We've made some changes. Now, if you want to get back to the original without having to go to individual items and reset them. You'll see there's a button at the top left of the presets, which just is resettle. The next one down is size and position again. Pretty self explanatory. You can move it on the X on the why you can rotate it both left and right. You can simply drag the little job will here for large increments, or you'll see each of the individual sliders as well. Have a little incremental era on the left and right that you can go up in single digit increments. Size scale. If you use the science left and right, just remember that is going to distort it because it's not going to use the of the excess. If you want to go back, you just use the back button at the top left. The second way to get into the edit menus is to simply select the clip and you see little pencil at the bottom here, which is your editor pencil pickle nets, and it'll take you back to the same place. 20. 20 Picture in Picture and Split Screen: this. Listen, we're gonna do some picture in picture and split screening off clips to start off with. You need obviously a clip or a graphic or something on top of something else. In this case, we're just good one video on top of another, and then you double click on the one above, make sure that you're in frame and fit. Now there's a few ways of us doing this. We could either use the size and positioning tools, or we can use the preset. And if you scroll down, you'll see they are nine presets here for PRP picture in picture and simply by clicking on one of them. It will automatically take are selected video and place it in the appropriate position and do here. The other way to do it is to do it manually so we can actually take out positioning tools, sizing, shrink it done, move it over, and we can basically get the same effect. Although this is a little more manual and you're not going to get it at exactly the same position as you would with the presets, which might be an idea to use if you're planning to do more than one, and you want them in the exactly the same position. You can also do split screen here in the frame and fits section. This is fairly easy. You could just so you want to split, split screen left and right. You can do that. You can also obviously split screen the other way just to get that back to center. Put it at the top, the bottom, whichever way you want to do a split screen. Another way to do split screen, particularly if you don't want to shift the entire clip over. But you just want to say the left hand portion off clip. You can use your cropping tools, and you can simply crop away the right hand side for a split screen. Well, top what a left right, etcetera. 21. 21 Animating Camera Moves and Ken Burns Effect: the frame and foot facility that restoring the previous listen Jimmy used for various animations that we want to do. Spring can be used for various animations that we want to do per clip. So let's say this clip that we have here without food. We want to get a little bit of movement in there as well, so we can go into the clip into frame and fit. Do you see? Yeah and weaken tip there to go right to the beginning off the clip, for instance. If we now want to have a little bit of left and right motion on this clip while the hand is coming in and adding in the decoration weaken ed in a key framer on the beginning of the cup. If we know want to add in a secondary effect after that one, we can just scroll along again to where we want that perfect you be completed and simply again go in to do the adjustments that we want. So yeah, well, it's rotated a bit. But over to the left, it was Zoom incident. We put the entire frame fooled and, as you can see, it said in another key friend said, It's double tip. Yeah, to go right to the beginning and play it. We now have our zooming in a bit to the right and, of course, that it sorts the second wave, rotated and zoomed in again, but to lift. You can basically do this to anything, any video, any photograph, anything like that. A lot of these are available in precept, so if you go into the presets so you can see this zoom out preset. There's a pan lift pen, Rots told up. Zoom in half left, half writes. There's a few presets for you there in the later listen. We'll actually show you how to save whatever you've done in your own presets, so that you can use it again and again. If you know, learn all your changes and you're not happy, you can just use the back button, and all those changes will automatically be saved. The same effect can be applied to photograph. Here we have a photograph double tap on it, going to frame a fit again when applied to a photograph. It's called a kin burns effect, but it's basically the same thing. You zoom in slightly and your pains likely So, first of all, you might want to just make sure that the photo is in the right starting position that you want by using the foot modes. Then we'll go back to Serena cropping size and position her to the beginning of the photograph sequence, head in key frame scroll along to where we want the effect, too finish and we'll do a little bit of zoom and a little bit of a position. And then we scrolled back a little ways and say, Okay, around about There would be a good place to start the fade out, heading a key frame, go to the end of the frame and simply drag capacity done. We now have a settle fade out of the end of the photo figure Victor Tom Lon, Ken Burns, and then it fades out to a next clip 22. 22 Saving Frame and Fit Presets: if you have in your editing process, created something that, as faras frame and fit war effects go that you want to save and re use on other clips like this clip over here. We've got the tilt effect and zoom in effect from a previous Listen, but say this effect will double click on it to go to it. We decided that this effect is really cool when we want to use it with other clips as well , and then go to the save motion presets. Give it a name. Just call the strange things and click the little save preset button. Well, now notice that when we go over to you see yellow, the standard presets little button here. And over here we have our favorites. And this will keep anything that you saved over your own in this case, strange things. Now, if we're on another clip and we decide that this clip could use some strange things, we can either double tape on it, go over to saved presets and edit by simply clicking on it. Once you'll see that we now have that same effect applied to this clip another way to ed that effect to another clip. Ah, it's pick something that's something like that is select the clip of single tapping on it, and then you'll see in the bottom here. Not yet. We have our quick effects, adding, It'll be on the color presets that we just click over to frame and fit, and you'll see they at the top is our preset again. Just click on it, close it down, and we now have applied it to the clip that we selected zooms in, panting a bit to the right, easily add to any clip. 23. 23 Applying Colour Correction and Keyframe Effects: to color. Correct a specific clip you go to the same place, basically, is you do to edit any other club individually. It's a this clip of the here, and we want to get it. Double tip on it and you see like it were on the color in a fix, but you would normally come in on the key frame that you just need to long. They brought him here until you see the color effects and click that at the top. Here you have your various color, in effect, starting off with the main one, the color that we want to change. And you have various presets here that you can just simply apply below. That you see there's a bore, which will slowly full depending on how maney effects and color corrections, etcetera that we add to this clip. So if using a slightly older or weaker iPad, then you won't have as many effects to fill up this line and then blow here's where obviously will have all our effects. So if we click on the top left one which is original, this will bring down the color correction tools without making any actual adjustments. So here now we can then go end, bring up a shadows and bring down our high lots and what might be moved some of them. It turns around brightness. Contrast such a Russian vibrance. There's some fairly intense tools here. All of them, useful in their own way, should amounts. You can also, if you get on yeah, adjust individual colors. So if you want to bring up the blue in there, drop the green, etcetera, etcetera and then right at the bottom. Here we have gamma Hugh, and don't. We can actually go and select this and going ahead a horrible blue tint to this and adjust the intensity and broadness of intent. And then when we realized how badly we have missed it up, we can go to over here. We can either just have a look at how badly we messed up from before and after. Oh, there's the bun day. If we decide that's enough, we've done enough home to that clip And of course, there's many presets that you can go and select. And Ed, you could also use these presets as a starting point because it gives you the tools with all the settings adjusted according to that preset. And then you can just go and make some smaller tweaks to your liking. As with a lot of effects, you can key frame any of the color, corrections or effects in the section. So the sculler adjustment we can say, OK, it's a key frame and there, and we want at this point here we wanted to be black and white, so we scroll along and we go and remove all the situation. At that point, What will happen is you've not added effect with goes from color slowly to blacken, right? You okay, We also have another clip over above it. But you can see the beauty with being able to keep from anything is that the creativity that you can use is fairly limitless, is for is what you can do with each precinct. If you want to use exactly this combination with this intensity, etcetera on other clips, you can simply go and click and give it a name. If you sitting on frame and foot, just move over to color in a fix in the second button, along off the color presets is let's now, apart from all the presets that limit fusion provides well, see there some for the application form Akpro, which is a video recording application for your phone. And there's various others that have either being created by the guys at Luna Fusion or supplied by third parties and again, to add them, you simply don't click on them. Once in the clip will take on that effect, you can adjust the intensity, and so if you shoot what is called log on your phone or a camera, and you then need to add a let to bring it to a starting point for your color correction. Then you'll probably need to either create those let's on a computer. There's various applications that you can use to create, um, and then import them into infusion like I have. And if we go back now, you'll see that obviously, the clip has doubled in length because we have slowed it down and it is a relatively smooth , slow motion, and we have also removed some of the jittery witness that we had before, although this a leage just not as distinguishable as it was before. Now let's take this clip. Yeah, and let's say we want to speed it up again. It's the same. It is a 50 frames, a second clip when a 25 frames a second time line. And here is our most of peace that we have just recorded 36. 36 Project Backup and Restore: one of the other facilities that you can use when exporting, as you could make it basically a backup off the entire project that you're working on. So let's say this project over here we now wanted to shared with a friend or possibly just keep a backup. Once we finish the project, we go back to the export Minya. They share an export menu, and this time we select the looming fusion project back up again is going to give you a selection of where you want to put it. Various drives, external devices, network drops. But for demonstration purposes, I'm just going to use the rendered folder on this device again. The first selection you'll get is what to include. So full media will literally copy every single file that you used within this project in their entirety. So even if you've only said it, say you have a five second clip and you've taken two seconds of that and use that in here, it's still going to store that entire five second clip, which is good for maybe later on. You'd like to maybe editor to do a little bit of slip editing and that type of thing that at least you have the entire file to work with the one below it, the trim, the media is not the entire fall. So in our example, we have that five second foul, and we've used two seconds of it. It's only going to save that two seconds off. That fall, with a second on either side is a leeway, that's all. It's not going to keep the entire five seconds. So if you are certain that you're not going to obviously need Teoh edited again afterwards , then you can use Use that and I'll give you a smaller file sauce. But I like Teoh era on the side of caution, as it were, and I always do the larger files. Under the info, you'll see an approximation of the false eyes as well as how much is left on your divorce. Green screen is basically what it sounds like. You put a green screen behind objects, video people, etcetera, and it doesn't even have to be a green screen. It can be a blue screen is also commonly used. And then when you bring it into an application like Luna Fusion, you can remove whatever's green, what is blue and use it to replace something else you can add in various things, and or of a sudden you're on the beach or something like that. As you can see with this video that you're looking at right now, everything behind me is gone. And that is because off this, a green screen that I used to do exactly what we want to do. The secret behind a good green screen is simply a lot of life. You need to have a lot of lights on your subject in this case, me. You need to have a lot of light on the green screen and preferably as even a spread of that light as possible so you'll see on the green screen, agree. Looking at yeah, ever done. The bottoms basically done. Yeah, on the corner and over here in the corner, it gets a little bit darker. It's because my life distribution is not fantastic. I'm a bit constrained with space, where record that's normally you were trying to have, as much of it is even as possible for a bit of green screen set for this one. We're going to. I have selected a nice green screen with a cat because any good video needs a kit and I'm going to put him into space. So first of all, I'm going to drag. I'm going to drag and drop what will be my background in this case, my little clip of a space station. And then I'm going to take the green screen off my kit, and I'm going to drag it on. Let me. You can go straight into green screen from here, but what I found is generally is a good rule. You do your color correction first so that you can actually in haunts the color off the green. Do not bring the vibrance down of it. What I'm trying to do is along the back here, you'll see that I'm getting a sort of greenish glow. What This is is when you're blighting on a green screen. It obviously reflects back onto whatever objects are in front of it to a certain extent, and that is what's happening here. So she, this catcher, he or she a much harsher has got a a little bit of a green tinged trees for the back. It's Firth back. Okay, once we've done the color correction sorry, we'll go back into the killer and effects, and you'll see over the top writer is a little key. These are chroma keys, obviously, and you have various ones that you can select generally, whichever one you pick, you can then go and select the color. So it's not really that big a deal. I just like the green screen because obviously I'm using a green screen. And then I go and drag the eyedropper over there 100 that I drop over to the green just to make sure that it selected the wrong turn a green tent of Green Story. And now we can start missing with these Hugh Range saturation range and brightness range. You'll see that the kit is losing a bit of his body to the space and his tell it's tell. So what we do is we stretch playing with these sliders. We don't want to take a 24 because, you see, if I take it too far not that for I start getting green around the edges, which is obviously not what we want. So we just wanna pull back a little bit. That should be a K without losing too much of the cat. And then we move on to the saturation again. If you take it to extremes, you're going to start getting green around the edges between during one. That's well, we'll put it up a little bit. I'm still getting quite a bit of green. They we'll leave that for, and I'm actually gonna pull this down a bit. Two way. I'm just starting to lose a bit of in like it itself. And then I'm going to just the situation just to try reclaim the inside of the kit that we're on quite get as much of the greener and the edge of the kit. And then we'll do the Brock missus Well, again, you take it to four. We're going to start getting the shadows of green. You just want to get rid of those, but that's stealing too much of our kids right about there. Now. Obviously, the more time that you take in more precise that you all with all your adjustments here, the better it's going to be for your green screen. The lost sitting here is obviously to reverse it. So there we have now kit with just green. This can be quite useful in certain instances, but in ours we actually want our kids to be floating in space. Once we've finished our green screen, we can obviously go back and have a look and see exactly how it came out. We're keeping an R for any green that's appearing or flickering around the kit, but they didn't seem to be much there. But you can also do is if, like with catch, you've got very minimal movement. You can go. You can go to your frame and fit. You go to cropping and actually pull it in because you see, we're not getting ahead of a lot of movement. That's really just the cat's head that's moving so we can pull in from the various sides. Okay, the bottom not so much, but the rock we can pull it in quite a bit. So if there is any anomalies within the range that is outside of our little box here, um, as you'll see with mine, the green screen is only around me. But they still at the edge of the frames. A piece off green screen that's not Korean covered a piece off the frame that's not being covered by green screen. So that's basically we can remove it by simply cropping in. As long as I don't put my arms out of the actual frame, it shouldn't look too strangely. I'm really Arabic, and just to make sure that we haven't cut off any pieces of our cat that and we have a perfectly good cat in space. 38. LumaFusion Practical 1 - Practical Intro: in this. Listen, we're basically going to use everything that we've learned so far. You're going to create our own little travel video. If you're using the supplied yes, it's that are attached to this. Listen or whatever video you feel like doing. If you're using your own assets, using our own assets is obviously preferable because you're going to get a bit of feel for what the video is that you want to use. Want to do the efforts that are supplying I recorded. It's a little tongue in Belgium called William, and basically they are not the greatest of essence. They are all going to need some work on. I've specifically lift certain things not correct or not totally correct, so that we can use different aspects of what we've learned so far to correct those videos and get our final product to travel video. If you're using your own footage, then trying use footage which you know could be is a bit of works, maybe a bit of color correction, etcetera. That's obviously going to be better for your learning experience, and you're going to see how to correct things that you yourself are shooting, which is obviously a good thing. So let's get started 39. LumaFusion Practical 2 - Importing Media: okay in this first, listen over, Practical. We're going to import all our media and make sure that it's all laid out in a logical fashion in a Thoma. Such a start off with what I'm going to do is create in your project. Ah, just call this sheep, uh, to on video. I'm gonna sit it to 25 frames a second. But if you are in the States or somewhere where 30 frames a second is more than all, then obviously sit that to your preference here. I'm gonna leave it a 25 and I'm gonna change the aspect ratio to 16 bahn line, which is pretty much your standard. And then we have our video. Okay, so I'm going to go to imported items and I'm going to go to shed the way I got these farms on to my eyes. Tobias is I just shared them with file sharing and got it on using I can't very connection with my PC. However, there are various ways to get your files onto the device. We've shown them in previous lessons, So use one of those methods. You can copy it to one of your drives and download it or put it on toe. I can drive and download it or put it on to an SD cord and use an adapter and copied directly on there. If you're using at this stage of watching the listen, I was 13 has been released or you on the beater. You can plug a direct and SST dropped directly into your eyes device and get it off that way as well. What I've done is I've already done all of that. So I've got all my falls here. So first of all, once you've imported all of these, we're gonna try and lay them out in some sort of fashion That makes sense for what you're trying to create. So in this case, it's a little travel video. I just shot some random pics and videos. It a little town called Julian. Okay, so now we're gonna go through the footage and just add in the pieces that we want into the Tom Ron. You'll notice that a lot of this footage is very dull. We're gonna have to do some color correction on basically all of this, but for now, it's just for through our footage and select that's called North Peace. You know, we don't want I just want the peace Before war. That son obstructs our view, so we'll put that onto the time on. See if there's anything decent here. You'll also notice that there's a nice rain spot on the lings there, which we're just going to have to work around. It's a probably around here. Two. There's a quietness piece. Put that on. Okay, this is just a short of some decks it and think well of use that right now. And a few nice pieces. I think I think that peace would be quite knows is a opening peace because it gives us a sort of broad view the actual river. So go away back here. Tip on that and wrong one. What's up on that will do little insert by using the button. I think this is a fairly similar short except repainting the other way. Okay, we might use some of that a bit later. That spot is very noticeable here Now. I think they might have to leave that short art, but if you feel like you want to take a piece of it in feel free to do so and then I think the lost short too rip up little video. Just go along here. We don't want any of that. There's enough short of the L E. And then me turned to the local beer store. So let's and that I think that's a good base for a trouble. Video will carry on in the next lesson. 40. LumaFusion Practical 3 - Colour Correction: as you saw in the previous video, the clips that we've added the colors not great. The day that I shot these random clips of this little town, it was very gloomy. Very adults. Ah, these clips are definitely gonna need some work. So we're going to select the first clip and then get in here and hit the little. It's like one. We're then going to go over to color in a fix on the bottom and select killer presets. Now, I don't think there's any presets here that are going to bring us at least a part of the way they Michigan. See, that's not good. So we're just gonna select original. It'll give us the tools to work with, and we're going to start just from the top to the bottom, except for the actual main colors. There, we're going to start digesting little bit by little bit each of the values, just to see if we can pull some of the colors out there may be brought up the image a little bit. So we'll, uh, we just play around a bit. Irma kids and you bring the mid turns down a little bit. You were missed too much with the are lots in effect, the broadness. I don't think either, but will bring a little bit of the contrast up. And we'll bring a little bit of situation up a little bit more too. So you can get some more color in these buildings that do you actually have color? Maybe a little bit of vibrance. Okay, that's my locks is not really doing anything. Yeah, it's not really doing anything for us either. See, if we missed the shelters you drop the shadows of it seems to and a little bit of contrast in there. I'm gonna move down to Gamma here on. And they were just up the gammon a little bit our scar, unfortunately, because it was such a great day, the most of the scars blown out. We're not gonna get much back on that side on. I don't think the Hugh we're just gonna change it to green if we struck missing with it. No, caso, we've got our first clip looking a little bit better than it. Waas. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go down here to the clipboard, and I'm going to copy while I've got that clip selected. This one is a bit dark for using the same color settings, but I think these others might benefit from it. So select that. Go back to my clipboard. Just gonna de select everything except the color, because that's what I really want to paste onto this and paste. And actually, that doesn't look to bed with doing filling minimal color work. So I think we'll use that same preset flipboard. It's the color report again. Placed the color. Yeah, let's see. It does seem to be released, bringing out a lot more of the colors, and it doesn't look quite as dull as it was. This other clip that was a doctor here on the river. However, we're going to have to going color correct on its own. Think we can pull the blacks up a little bit. There may be the mid turns as well. Can't do much with the harlots. There a little bit of rock nous little bit of contrast, a little bit more cept saturation. We start seeing a bit of the green of the river, a little bit of the colors of the top you can peeking through then we'll move down to the Gamma and just just that slightly. The ship has done a little bit, not give us a little bit of controls There might boost the situation is a little bit of, well, that's looking a lot better. Just play there, too. But we definitely got a little bit more color happening there. Okay, someone to go big. And I think overrule colors are looking a little bit better. 41. LumaFusion Practical 4 - Adding and Animating A Title: this. Listen, we're going to add a nice title to our little trouble video. So first things first is I thought I'd actually just center it in the first clip and have it fade in and fade out again. Your end about they. So we'll hit over Teoh titles, and I talked menu and scroll down to show which one of these are feel like using you, of course. Use whichever is your preference. There are quite a few pretty made one juror to choose from, and, of course, you can use ones that you have made yourself. I want something that's going to sit in the middle of the screen, so probably go for something like that. Select it and dragged down. When it's his start about there. Zoom in. Little register. Moving. Heard over. Yeah, I ran about them. Some double tip on it. Take me to the It's, um first things first. Double tip on the text going changes to travel video top done. I'm going to change the front to something a little plainer looking us having your bold That looks good. Maybe you want to change the color as well. Some sort of theme. I don't really have a theme in mind. You change it to something a little bit louder. The contrast Quite a lot with the background so that we can see it quite nicely. And I might even up the we're quite that much select the next one. Still tip on it natural, But ah, true video, Teoh. Well, you know, done. I'm actually going to change that front as well because that's not keep it the same front family scroll. Then we don't want any bedroom colors. There it is. Maybe you're not quite that dark. No, that's not working. Um, let's select white, maybe just turn it down a little bit that that doesn't really I'm going to leave it At what ? That should be fun again. Just as you see fit you generally, when you start doing something like this, you'll have some sort of idea in your mind of what it must look like. And you can adjust it. According me. I'm going to take these shapes and I'm going to change the color of each of them. Or so just to go in fit in with our green and yellow on earth loud. It was meant to be and slick, the other ship sensitively. I'm just going to open a day, take this. But then I'm going to make that a little bit darker so that it contrasts quite a bit with the other. Actually, I think the light is probably a nice con trust. Sleeping with it, basically go into each of the shapes removed. Um, add in more shapes and adjust colors as you see fit. So as you want them, you can just sizes as well. And then, when you're finished, just hit Beck. The problem being now is in a little video. It just pops onto the screen and then pops off again. I actually think I'm just going to change that background color because it really is not separating itself from the foreground colors very well. That's a little bit better. Okay, so now, to get it to fade in nicely and fate art or slide in, whichever we choose, we can just go and add a transition directly onto this title. So we're gonna go over to the transitions. No good to transitions. There we go. Now you can go through each of them, try to them see which ones you prefer use these slides, There's pushes and various others. I generally just stick to good old crust is over. You drag and drop it onto the beginning. You see it fading nicely and you can use the exact same one on the end and it'll fade out. You know, we have a last total that fades in and fades out. However, maybe we also wanted to do a little bit of moving. So what we can do is weakening and selected again this time go into the frame and fit. Make sure we're right at the beginning of the the clip again, it s ALS a que frame. But now what I'm going to do is I'm actually going, Teoh, have it pain slightly from the right to the left. While we're painting on the video to the right, we'll see what that looks like. It maybe not a good idea What? We're gonna drop the size a little bit because I think it's quite but two predominant. Okay, and then I'm going to go to basically the end of it, and I'm going to put it on the left hand side now because we've already started the size and positioning. We've added in a key frame. Obviously, it's going to automatically ed in any key friends that we do. If we do any changes after that, so you'll see Rick watch the beginning in the end, never go back and see what that looks. Luck. It fades in pain slowly across the screen and fades that again, not to bed. 42. LumaFusion Practical 5 - Adding Transitions: In our compilation, you'll see between each of the different clips. It's simply jumps to the next clip. And in some cases that can work in some cases, not that's where transitions come in. We've already used transitions on our title to faded out. So what we're gonna do now is use them between two clips. It's generally a good idea toe only use a few different transitions through when video one sort of presentation. Simply because if you start using too many different transitions, they become too much of a focus in the video, and people get very distracted from the actual content that you're trying to show them. So generally, as a rule of thumb, use one, maybe two different transitions in an entire video. So the standard is the crust is all, which is what we used on the title. I'm going Teoh, select one other. You can preview each one simply by clicking on it, and it will show you what it does, Berryman, that you can speed up and slow down any of these transitions. So this is just a starting point. I quite like this Ball wipes. I'm gonna use that for my first transition. You take the transition, you drag it down and you get a couple of choices. If you hold it between the two clips, it will basically take a little bit off the end of the previous clip and a little bit off the beginning of the next look. And it'll use that to actually create your transition. You can, however, just put it on one clip by simply sliding over like this. And I competed on the next clip. Oh, the previous clip. So if you put in the middle, you'll see we have a nice transition me and do that, and I'll show you what happens if we put that same transition on the beginning clip. It'll actually fade to a black pot and then only start the next look, which is not really the idea, but it can be used for different effects. In some cases, I don't personally have use it very often, but you might find a use for it. So I'm just going to go with the in between birth clips and we haven't us. It looks pretty decent. What you do Israel go over to the next that is quite during, so I'm not going to switch back to the crust is over. Asthma, transition of choice and you see it adds in and us smooth cut between the two clips. In some cases, actually, a jump cut will suffice and might even look better. If you are doing, say, a short clip, where you have a lot of action happening in a very short space of time. It's no me. Quite a good idea to jump between each action part of the action sequence, especially because you're clips for so small one second to second. You don't want to load of their taken up by a transition, so just jumping between those clips becomes more effective than putting in a transition. But for our little trouble video, we're gonna use our standard transitions. It's been a crust is over in there as well. I think at the end of the video, what I wanted the video to do is fade to black. You'll see there's actually a Preble transition for that right at the top. Here, it's called Dip, and what this does is it fights to Blake. If it's at the end of a video clip like this, it fades to black. You see if it's between two videos and what it will do is that will fade to black and then fade back in again to the next one. But there were black point around the middle people did at the end lockers. Obviously, there's no video after that. It's just going to fade to black, which is exactly what we want. If you decide that some of these transitions you don't like the speed of them, it zoom in a little bit. So this is said to basically a second. So let's go. Yeah, that's a second long, but you decide you want to slightly shorter. You can grab anyone of the science and dragons in or out to make it longer, and you'll see the transition is now a lot quicker. You can do that with any of the transitions so you can make them longer short, depending on what your needs are. 43. LumaFusion Practical 6 - Audio and Fading: Let's listen. What we're going to do is head in a little bit off background music to a compilation. To do this, I'm gonna go two storey blocks, which is a source off free music as well as paid for subscription music as well as other stuff. I mean, they have footage, backgrounds, music groups. It is definitely a good thing if you do a lot of videos and you need a little bit of stock footage, background music like we do now. But there is a lot of free available. I'm going to use the filters that along the bottom here, and I'm going to select ambience. Easy listening, Elektronik that should full tractor look, rests. Let's see. What is this acoustic? A tall Yeah. What you got your good life? It's a bit too eerie. Morning certain that sounds last less, isn't it? That seems a top of up beating we want for accomplish in. So I'm going to click on it, so I'm going to drag it down to the first rodeo trick. You'll see a little notification over here that it's downloading. We'll just wait for that should be pretty quick. Okay, we now have some music to a back room, some background music trivia That's not your bed in a letter. Listen, will actually add some voiceover. We will have to adjust the volumes and that, but for now, we're just gonna leave the volume as it is. I do, however, want to trim the music. Did you see it goes way further than clip, as you can see on the top of the timeline here. So we're going to go to the end of the actual video. Make sure that we have the word your selected, which it is, and I'm just going to click the scissors and then click the button to get rid of the selected order. Now what we're going to do is normally you could go in well, there's two ways you could do it. You could go in. You can go and key frame the volume to actually start dying at towards the answer that is completely dead at the end of the video. Or you can go to a transitions and you'll see there's a video cut audio across. This is basically the exact same thing. It's gonna fade out the audio if you put it on audio trick for you. So we're gonna drop that on the end of our audio and you'll see it fades. Our audio at what I like to do is because I like the idea to start fading a lot before there sure fade to black on the video. I'm going to zoom in by pinching out. I'm going to take the end off the transition. I'm just gonna drag it out to roughly twice the distance of our video transition there in the mill, play it much more professional. 44. LumaFusion Practical 7 - Adding Voiceover: in this. Listen, we're gonna add a little bit of voiceover throughout video. This is generally wouldn't be necessary unless the big here that you've recorded as voiceover on it. And but it's not usable, which, unfortunately, with todays devices, especially if you're according on something like a phone, it doesn't have the world's greatest marker funds. You can record this simply like I'm going to do now with using the microphones in your eyes device. Generally, it would be a better idea to plug in a USB microphone or a like inject microphone or whatever you buy a device supports. I would normally do that, however, because I'm recording out of the port. I don't have the facility to plug in a microphone as well, so I'm just going to use the internal microphone. I'm gonna move around, Teoh just here with the heading starts gonna kick the plus. I'm going to click voiceover and you'll see the It's actually got the meters for the onboard microphone. I'm not gonna just the gain or anything like that too much. I'm just going to hit record and read a little bit off the text fall that are supplied with the listens, falls get my countdown Beyond is a town in southern Belgian near the French border. So what that means is, as we saw in a previous listen, the previous trek, which is the music, automatically dips in volume to accommodate the voiceover that we've just add and it'll do it from the beginning of the clip. You listen again. Your notice. Different volumes for the boy. Strange border. It's in the little girl back up again at the end, up looking the same boys. Now, for such a short little voice over, this is probably the best thing to do is just leave it like it is. Adjust our volumes on the actual voice over itself and maybe clean it up, shorten it, which will do now in there. Shorten it, which we're going to do now. But you can do this manually. I'm going to show you how to do it manually. You don't need to. Obviously, if you just use the settings for the body are ducking. First of all, I'm just going to shorten. They clipped to the actual speaking part of it and then going to double click on it, going to the audio configuration. I'm just going to up the volume a little bit because my voice is really soft with the internal microphone. Alone is a town in seven Belgian near the French border. So if we wanted to do the actual audio ducking manually, what we do is we actually going to select the check that we want to dip in volume and then we go to where the beginning over the water it's known for before. So using key frames, we basically do exactly what the audio dockings doing Ed in a key friend at the maximum volume that we have got, we go along a little bit until the speaking stops starts three, and we dropped the volume. But significantly, we play along until for the medieval bilion causal of West End's Moyes River. In another key frame. So long a little bit. And we up the Valium back to what we had it in this case, in this case SMIC on zero. And that is how you would manually do the audio ducking if you need it. As I said, with the what you're ducking, being enabled and being such a short voiceover clip, it's not really necessary at this point. That's why I'm simply going to remove all the key friends, and that should take us back to original. Alone is a town in seven Belgian near the French board. Automatically all your back Julian Castle. We're looking the same Moyes River, which is fine for what we need. The tools in Lima fusion at this point are good for order, but they're not off. Obviously, a district packages standard yet, so if you do have a piece of video with the audio is not terrible, but it's not great. You can fix it using some of the tools available to you here, your heart, ports and low post falters distortion. In that type of thing, you can attempt to remove background noises in that type of thing 45. LumaFusion Practical 8 - Keyframing a Title: in this. Listen, we're gonna do a little bit of key framing on a title, So if you see the second clip that we added here is in our short off the river. So what I thought of doing is heading in a title that names the river. So I'm just going to go to my titles and I'm going to use the plane Classic a dragger to basically where I wanted to start, which is just off to the transition and then going to they will kick on the title itself to take me to the title editor. And basically what I wanted to do is that for war off the river today, I want this title to basically look like it's stuck to that wall and stay in the same position as we paying across the river said. To do that, I'm going to drop it in size a little bit, going to go down and change its angle so that it's visually at the same angle is the flow of the river.
