1. Teacher Introduction: Hi everyone, how are you negotiate from him and illustrations, I do botanical art, every beautiful pattern design. I'm doing this from 2013, but it has been my passions and signs are good. It's been more than a year now since my Instagram has been to another level and people started loving my illustration process would use because that tends to be very satisfying. Drawing lines and botanical illustrations as something I loved the most n i at home, what would be the best way to teach you how to perfectly all lines in your flora illustrations or really in any kind of illustrations. So as this is going to be very first discussion glass, I'm gonna keep the whole glass very basic for you to understand each and every step learning. But in a future class, and we'll definitely gonna increase the level of our learnings. And we'll be covering everything from creating illustrations for increasing botanical illustrations from scratch, to converting them into patterns and inserting them into the global market will govern everything. So by the end of this, loss will be asked to submit your project, which will be due the end of this project so that I can share my personal comments, my personnel reviews with you on your work. And if you really nine this laughs, I would love to see what you have in mind, your suggestions, options, your feedback, anything in the review section? I'd be happy to read them. 2. Class Introduction: Okay, so as this class is mainly focused on nine techniques and everything about life in rural illustrations or basically any kind of illustrations. So I have divided the whole glass into six different segments to make it more easy, more clear for you place starting from protecting confidence level material, guideline experimentations, length, stylization. And by the end of this graph, we're gonna draw a daisy like a very basic flower from a basic shapes that will be easy for you to understand how the flowers are constructed. And you're going to have to follow me along the process so that by the end of this class, you will have your own artwork, online illustrations in your hand. And I have been more happy to see to submit your projects in the project section. 3. Building Confidence: Building confidence. I know many of you face the same situation. You may get distracted by your own targets. You don't know what you want to do. You don't know how good start. And I know that feeling when you see the blank paper, you have the date. It's all normal. It's really, really common among all the artists or as an n-dimensional. Whenever we see a clean surface, we have the date and meeting that we bought. If we might destroy that paper on my desk drawer and the beauty of that individual paper or anything it can be. It's fair. We lack the confidence and to gain that confidence back. And you'll know that it's no harm in practicing. It's no harm in experimental thing. It's no harm in trying or do you want Grillo rather than giving up on it? Being confident, Try again, try multiple times. We hear damned. Unless you find your Beth to, there's nothing to have hero, there's nothing to be afraid of, and just enjoy the whole process. 4. Tools & Materials: So for this, I'll be using just a regular document people because we'll be practicing and chiropractors test paper. It's good for later draw, draw with me session we'll be using the scans and 1.3.2 color people because this is thick enough that 5000 cheers and watercolor paper and everything is much of the other things that you can use as role during Penn because this gives a very fine details. We are illustration your financial bands, whatever you have, IQs, unit ball, pen, pre-purchase comes in. We sizes. And I loved the centrality of the spin. Along with this, I do use the insulin because the dates of these Ben's amazing. I read enough the long depths of this bench, this door coming just wave sciences but any Benson, if it's mechanical, it's better and became economies sooner. 5. Line Experimentation: Okay, so as the segment is totally dedicated to the experimentation, and as the name suggests, we need to experiment a lot before finding your own style. And for experimenting, you can obviously start from the basic lines like baby lines on straight lines. And whenever you want to perfect your lines, and if you want to perfect your straight lines, you can practice making parallel lines be fit out in dissecting them. Because desert I review in concentrating or may be if it will help. If you have issues like if you have issues in concentrating while growing your quirks. Here, I'm simply trying as new idea that's I can add those specific time. But you can obviously cope with any ideas you can come up with. Think about it. All. They take ideas, taking inspirations from almost everywhere. Whatever you see. Maybe you can see some ancient paintings because they tend to have so many different inspirations when it comes to colors, lines, presentation, aesthetics, and virtually everything. They are a really good source of inspiration. And as you see, I have just switched the technique of using the scene from liner of uniform plane and switch to another branch bending because it gives different results. And as I always say, every medium gives different results than when we shall not afraid drying and other whatever we have. Because if we experiment with whatever we have fitted supplies that we have in hand, we can come up with a new panel glass. We can invent their own styles that maybe never, somebody never have Qin upset. So be confident in making lines and experimenting. Not to exclude just about lines. It's about being creative and being inspiring. So can I really wanted to do something keep in mind that you want to be Noonan and you want to be creating. 6. Giving Values: So here I'm going to explain you more better about how you can give values by doing simple lines. And I'm gonna start with drawing few basic shapes including circle and cylinder and leaves, the basic shapes of leaves. So what we have to do is we have to follow along the circle. Actually, if we draw a really flat lines, streak lines over this circle, the actual format of the circle is never visible by drawing the streak lines. Lake circle appears to be very flat. It signifies a flat surface. Whereas if we draw the thing flatlines or cylindrical shape, that's where the brilliance of the ship is also more flat as comparison to how it should be. So what we have to do is we have to follow along the basic shape of the circle or the cylinder to give the objectives actual form. And the line should go as the object is allowing you to be. Here, the two different sections of leaf allows the line movement into opposite directions. And specifically, the whole construction of leaf is singular and hence it will go from h to h. This is very basic formula to create all the highlights and shadows. And if you learn the simple technique of H2 edge, everything builds even more easy for you. And it will be more easy for you to understand our good give the shadows and how to get the highlights. Basically these two dark edges of this neologism denotes the darker areas or the depth of the leaf or the shadow part. And this center portion, the highlighted portion, refers to the area where the light has been dropped or the highlighted portion of real dialogue is. So I think you've understood the basic concept of making or checked into its treating formula how to give the particular object 3D by giving just few depth by lines. It's all really easy, nothing complicated. And as coming back to this circuit, as you see, the whole section is very singularly government. So I'm going to use the same formula again, from edge to edge. And by using the same technique, military aid, shadowed by the shadow will automatically been created and the highlight beam finite portion is automatically visible. All we have to do is just follow along the basic shape that the circle is allowing us to be. Likewise, we have to go with the other shapes as well. Like here we are calling on the cylindrical shape and we have to follow along. How does an Anglican shape is constructed? Just by drawing few curvy lines and the query length will denote the shadow part and the rest of the area where we haven't touch will show the highlighted. But here in the two sections, don't lines has to be in the opposite directions. As you already see, the leaf is divided into two segments and we have to draw the lines in two opposite directions, the upward direction and the downward direction. Make sure to use the wavy lines because it will give a more natural effect. Do we leave? Drawing streak line can never be a great idea because if that could be done, it would be better to use a scale or something like that. And last but not the least, in disbelief, disease, combination, line, workfare, I'm going to just draw some levy lines to create that extra effect and will not bother about how it will look. Just feel confident lines and it will automatically give what we're looking for. The whole thing will be really good. And by creating lines in this trial. 7. Line Stylization: Obese who just aren't the same, whatever we have learned so far, I have been drawing feel breakers who were here, just ring and no perfection. And us, as you've already seen, I am confident in my mine lines, whether it being wrong or right. I know petals all flows or any kind of natural things does not have any perfect shape. So I'll be confident here, enjoying the shape here. So falling the basic rules that I've taught you earlier, those simple lines and no perfect, no perfections, no drama, nothing. I'll be going feel basically lines, streak lines through simple 93 year and will be joining or at the origin of the flour or directly that will be at the center. And at the end, a curriculum from the central portion of the beginning of the better towards the upward direction or the predator will give different values. And, and as you already see, NGOs managing everything at the origin we're interpreting has grown and the dense automatically creating a darker value, which is the shadowed by. And in the next pedal, I'll be doing my regular favorite LAN technique that is, and allowing me to dawns. And I'll be going really close here because I like the intricacy of the style and will create a transition because both sides of the pedal is going in the opposite direction. And we have to create a transition to cover data. And falling with two dots will be covering the outer anions as well. And again, using the same technique, lining do launch, but we have to keep in mind that we don't want to fill the whole pedal. Think London's, and also we don't want to keep the whole object or organization Mt, because obviously we are illustrating something and it has to have its form that is highlights and shadows and without cake, it will ultimately look flat surface. Here we are done with our second technique. Just few finishing touches. And as you already see, the lines are in two opposite directions that transition successfully created. In this, I am going to try a new medium, stop brush pen because I don't usually use double-edged brain technique, but I really loved the effect it used to clear, it was very new to me, but I'm sure if you are someone who loves brush, pens, all calligraphy, you can definitely try this, and I'm sure you'll love this. And I sometimes do use VARCHAR is to create the arc length or for the areas where I want to have a little bit darker, especially at the shadowed, but I do use brush birds, but not as English way. But you can definitely try it and you should not limit yourself in that specific supplies. All you have to do is whatever medium you have, you can be free to use that because every individual medium gives an individual results. And in the fourth and last interval take better. I'm using retreating dating again by creating transition in two different directions. We don't want to go straight from right to left. Instead, we want to create a seamless transition that can give very welcoming effect and a very interesting effect. And as you've seen, just by giving a few lines, just by giving a few shadows, and the output has been achieved. Just few more shoulders and the recto and gray down. So we're done with all the four better starting from a simple, basic lines, wavy lines. Again falling the outlines of the better that is introduced to print directions, followed by a regular technique that I mostly use with the lines and blue doors. Again, by grading a transition including the wavy lines. And don't forget to create those wavy lines because this is important as it keeps a natural effect. Then the next thing we did is using the branch technique because we did a few will be lands again in the two different. I am emphasizing on the lectures because it is very important. Lastly, Joe stutter, shooting technique to greed or shadow parts. And all the highlights and shadows are now clearly visible. 8. Draw With Me: To draw a very basic flower, daisy, something really simple. We're gonna start with drawing a big circle and a small circle inside that. We're going to divide the whole circle into four different sections. And these sections will help us drawing the patterns. Now slowly, what we're gonna do is we're just gonna add a very soft records on the four sites that we just drew. Next thing we're going to do is we're just going to draw all the rest of the trekkers behind the mean, better set B, drawn. And it will give a look of the threatens. The mean for Britain's are coming outwards and the rest of the beggars are at the back of those beggars. You can obviously switch the positions of the beggars by just overlapping in the lines. And now I'm gonna use my union boy band of 0.1. It is perfect size. The debits really small and nor bad, small, but perfect to draw the outlines. Now what we're gonna do with ridges corner in the whole illustration, don't want flower from a reading light. We don't want to put a lot of pressure because ultimately end up messing the lines. So we just want to slowly covered the whole floor by drawing the basic lines using this spin. So now we're going to pick the bag petals and give it a darker value or darker lines. And my dad, as I have already dork, how do give different values, how to experiment and declines. I'm using the simple line technique and we'll be growing really close line so that it can give a darker impression. And ultimately the flower, when the flow is ready, it will create an illusion that those petals are at the back. So these six petals are now, seems like they are at the back of the flower. And now we're using the style lines dynein switching technique, where we're going to manipulate to different kinds of struggles, to different kinds of line. And I'm using my regular technique that is lining do dogs on the dock, burgers to give a more interesting to look, do this Flavel. And never forget that end points often leaves the veterans because that adds extra bonus rebellion illustration. And also it looks more natural with all the highlights and shadows. Now we have repeated this blind technique in adult records as well. We haven't touched all the brackets, we haven't filled all the petals. But yes, some of them. And now what we're gonna do is we're just gonna add some falls to the precludes, just few of them to make it more interesting and more look more natural. So here we are done and we're going to be the same line techniques, Bondi, adopters as well. Okay, so we are done and you already see the flower is already on it. So now what we're gonna do is we're going to just add some shadows to the specific areas of the petals. It has not to be everywhere, just the angles where you feel there. If there is the shadow, it will look more emphasized on more natural. So I am just going to give a little bit of extra definition to the dollar. As you see now, of a flower is popping out. And the next thing, and the last thing got its remainder is meters coronary care if the center portion and look. And that is we can just add few sort of glands or few lines or you can do whatever you want, just be creative. 9. Thank You: Okay, so finally we have managed to complete the first skill shall plant successfully and then so painful that you have managed to wash the whole class didn't.
