About This Class

I know many of you must wonder line works look so easy and you can do it. But on trying you fail. Ever wonder why? What are the key components to make those lines in botanical illustrations? What are the basic things to learn before you start making that beautiful line botanical? Yes in this class, I am going to clear your head from all the confusions you might have. As this will be a beginner level class, I am going to guide you through so many important things that we mostly skip including -

1. Teacher Introduction: Hi everyone, how are you negotiate from him and illustrations, I do botanical art, every beautiful pattern design. I'm doing this from 2013, but it has been my passions and signs are good. It's been more than a year now since my Instagram has been to another level and people started loving my illustration process would use because that tends to be very satisfying. Drawing lines and botanical illustrations as something I loved the most n i at home, what would be the best way to teach you how to perfectly all lines in your flora illustrations or really in any kind of illustrations. So as this is going to be very first discussion glass, I'm gonna keep the whole glass very basic for you to understand each and every step learning. But in a future class, and we'll definitely gonna increase the level of our learnings. And we'll be covering everything from creating illustrations for increasing botanical illustrations from scratch, to converting them into patterns and inserting them into the global market will govern everything. So by the end of this, loss will be asked to submit your project, which will be due the end of this project so that I can share my personal comments, my personnel reviews with you on your work. Class Introduction: Okay, so as this class is mainly focused on nine techniques and everything about life in rural illustrations or basically any kind of illustrations. So I have divided the whole glass into six different segments to make it more easy, more clear for you place starting from protecting confidence level material, guideline experimentations, length, stylization. And by the end of this graph, we're gonna draw a daisy like a very basic flower from a basic shapes that will be easy for you to understand how the flowers are constructed. And you're going to have to follow me along the process so that by the end of this class, you will have your own artwork, online illustrations in your hand. And I have been more happy to see to submit your projects in the project section. 3. Building Confidence: Building confidence. I know many of you face the same situation. You may get distracted by your own targets. You don't know what you want to do. You don't know how good start. And I know that feeling when you see the blank paper, you have the date. It's all normal. It's really, really common among all the artists or as an n-dimensional. Whenever we see a clean surface, we have the date and meeting that we bought. If we might destroy that paper on my desk drawer and the beauty of that individual paper or anything it can be. It's fair. We lack the confidence and to gain that confidence back. And you'll know that it's no harm in practicing. It's no harm in experimental thing. It's no harm in trying or do you want Grillo rather than giving up on it? Giving Values: So here I'm going to explain you more better about how you can give values by doing simple lines. And I'm gonna start with drawing few basic shapes including circle and cylinder and leaves, the basic shapes of leaves. So what we have to do is we have to follow along the circle. Actually, if we draw a really flat lines, streak lines over this circle, the actual format of the circle is never visible by drawing the streak lines. Lake circle appears to be very flat. It signifies a flat surface. Whereas if we draw the thing flatlines or cylindrical shape, that's where the brilliance of the ship is also more flat as comparison to how it should be. So what we have to do is we have to follow along the basic shape of the circle or the cylinder to give the objectives actual form. And the line should go as the object is allowing you to be. Here, the two different sections of leaf allows the line movement into opposite directions. And specifically, the whole construction of leaf is singular and hence it will go from h to h. This is very basic formula to create all the highlights and shadows. And if you learn the simple technique of H2 edge, everything builds even more easy for you. And it will be more easy for you to understand our good give the shadows and how to get the highlights. Basically these two dark edges of this neologism denotes the darker areas or the depth of the leaf or the shadow part. And this center portion, the highlighted portion, refers to the area where the light has been dropped or the highlighted portion of real dialogue is. Make sure to use the wavy lines because it will give a more natural effect. Do we leave? Drawing streak line can never be a great idea because if that could be done, it would be better to use a scale or something like that. And last but not the least, in disbelief, disease, combination, line, workfare, I'm going to just draw some levy lines to create that extra effect and will not bother about how it will look. Just feel confident lines and it will automatically give what we're looking for. The whole thing will be really good. And by creating lines in this trial. 7. And I sometimes do use VARCHAR is to create the arc length or for the areas where I want to have a little bit darker, especially at the shadowed, but I do use brush birds, but not as English way. But you can definitely try it and you should not limit yourself in that specific supplies. All you have to do is whatever medium you have, you can be free to use that because every individual medium gives an individual results. And in the fourth and last interval take better. I'm using retreating dating again by creating transition in two different directions. We don't want to go straight from right to left. Instead, we want to create a seamless transition that can give very welcoming effect and a very interesting effect. And as you've seen, just by giving a few lines, just by giving a few shadows, and the output has been achieved. Just few more shoulders and the recto and gray down. So we're done with all the four better starting from a simple, basic lines, wavy lines. Draw With Me: To draw a very basic flower, daisy, something really simple. We're gonna start with drawing a big circle and a small circle inside that. Now slowly, what we're gonna do is we're just gonna add a very soft records on the four sites that we just drew. Next thing we're going to do is we're just going to draw all the rest of the trekkers behind the mean, better set B, drawn. And it will give a look of the threatens. The mean for Britain's are coming outwards and the rest of the beggars are at the back of those beggars. You can obviously switch the positions of the beggars by just overlapping in the lines. I'm using the simple line technique and we'll be growing really close line so that it can give a darker impression. And ultimately the flower, when the flow is ready, it will create an illusion that those petals are at the back. So these six petals are now, seems like they are at the back of the flower. And now we're using the style lines dynein switching technique, where we're going to manipulate to different kinds of struggles, to different kinds of line. And I'm using my regular technique that is lining do dogs on the dock, burgers to give a more interesting to look, do this Flavel. Now we have repeated this blind technique in adult records as well. We haven't touched all the brackets, we haven't filled all the petals. But yes, some of them. And now what we're gonna do is we're just gonna add some falls to the precludes, just few of them to make it more interesting and more look more natural. So here we are done and we're going to be the same line techniques, Bondi, adopters as well. Okay, so we are done and you already see the flower is already on it. So now what we're gonna do is we're going to just add some shadows to the specific areas of the petals. It has not to be everywhere, just the angles where you feel there. If there is the shadow, it will look more emphasized on more natural. So I am just going to give a little bit of extra definition to the dollar. As you see now, of a flower is popping out.
