Lenses 101: Getting Creative

You may be wondering what qualifies as a special effect lens or add on?

Well it's any type of lens that gives you a unique perspective on your own work. It allows you to take the next step and uncover the beauty of the unknown. How do these lenses work? Where can I get them? What effect will it give me?

This class is a journey through special effect lenses and being creative with a new perspective of stills and video. We will be exploring three different types of lenses to get you started and then dive in to at home ideas that are cheap but have fantastic results.

Be creative, daring and take great photos, with a whole new understanding of how and why.

Toronto Photographer

I am a Canadian-born photographer and camera trainee splitting my time between my home in Toronto and the rest of the world.

My passion and enthusiasm for the camera department has led me to travel over the past 6 months between Europe, Iceland, North and South America. I have been working with various film companies, being trained in optics and camera, whilst discovering a new perspective through my photography.

As I continue to travel in 2016, I am constantly on the look out for new collaborations and striking visuals.
