About This Class

Style has evolved since Joseph Nicéphore Niépce took the first photo from his window in 1826. But from daguerreotypes to instagrams, the photos that draw us in have the same elements and subject matter again and again. Photographers have known viewers like to look at pictures that have elements like leading lines, off-centered subjects, shallow depths of fields, sharp contrast and images that capture a decisive moment. In this class, you will learn the stylistic elements that can make good photos great.
