And in this video we are going to be learning about the interface of Phil Mora. 10, venue launch, fill mortar 10, you get a splash screen, like what you are seeing right now. Here on the splash screen, on the right side, you have a project library. What do our projects you have created in the recent past would be listed out here. I right now have only one product. If you want to access it, you can click on it and access that product. Then you have options to select Project aspect ratio. Here there is a drop-down list. Click on it and you have various ADH secretion. Line. One is 1921642321 is to nine. The one which you'll be using mostly 16 is 2 9 because that is the standard video side as of now. And you will also be using one is to one, which is normally used for posting your videos to Instagram. So that option is available here. Then you have two icons here. This one is to open a project. In case you want to open an existing project, you can click on those projects will be listed in front of you. You can select any one of them and open it. Or you can create a new product. Not to learn further about the interface and less open a new product. So click on this. And there, the project has now opened in front of you. And this is what is the interface of film Mora 10. Initially, it would just acquaint you with the layout. Let me just explain to you that we have on this interface, on top the menu, then we have various tabs here. I'll go into the details of the wee bit later. We have certain icons here for managing our subscription and the like. Then we have a preview area. This is where you see the videos which you are working on. Then you have the media venue can say red. You can import media from your hard disk or also download from Fillmore authentic self, then you have that timeline here. So this is the basic layout of the interface. Now let's go into a bit of detail. And before that, I will import a media into our product. So to import media, just go down here, click on this, and navigate to the directory where the media is. Let's say I want this one. Click on it and open it. So now the moment you open it, you will notice that that particular clip now available to you in this panel, you can now just grab it and drag it onto your timeline and leave it. And then you'll get this option where it says Master media or QI project settings. So let's match to Media. Click here. And now you would rely that the moment you have some element on the timeline that gets displayed in this preview window right here. And you can play this topic so you can view whatever the media is and how do you want to progress for this media subsequently. So now with the state said, let's now go into more details of the interface. On top, we have this menu. Just like any other application. Click on it. You have options to create new project. You have options to open a project, open recent projects, import media. Now I am going to be going into details of all this as we progress in the course. So suffice to say that we have various options within file that we have edit, then we have tools. We have view the way we want to view our project or work with the view of our project. Then you have options to export your creations. And then you have the menu that in the help menu where you have the resources to learn more about how to use Fillmore tenths. Right below that, we have various tabs. The first tab is media. We are currently in that tab. So in this panel, whatever media you will import will be available to you, whether it be video or audio clips or any kind of images, all that will be available to you here. Then you have a tab which lets you work with audio or excess audios. So there are certain clips which are provided to you, biofilm Mora by default. And they are quite useful. You can use them in your product. You can also import your own audio clips which can be available here. We'll go into more details of this panel and audio bit later. So phi to say that other tab which gets you resources as far as audio is concerned, then we have titles. There are many presets which are available to you within Fillmore are 10, which you can use in your own project. Then we have transitions. Help you to make jumping from one clip to the other seamless and smooth. We learn about it more subsequently then we have many effects which are available within Finamore at 10 DDA presents with can be applied to your clip to make it visually more appealing. Then you have various elements which are available to you, again to be used within your clip. And you also have various templates are available to create split-screen. You have a view options here. If you click on it, you have the options to view your media. This particular panel here. I also or tabular shortcut, which you can click on to export your work. Right? Now we are here on the side, here, the preview window. Whatever it is you're New York timeline is going to be reviewed her by you. And let's just discuss these icons here. This is, if you click on this, you'll get variance resources using which you can either get inspired or use this to get ideas to create your own products. Then you have support center. We will get into details of this a bit later. Then you have this icon where you can get more goodies and you can get creative ideas. You have this icon, which is your account. Can, by clicking here, you can manage your account. Then you have this icon which helps you to save your product. Then you have a message center. You also can download more effect from film stock, infill Nora, and then the other normal icons to manage the Windows. Now here you have the radius Media Player buttons. I think we all know about that too. To stop the video to fast forward or rewind, then we can reduce the side of the video in preview window. So you can have it as full, half and go down to one by 16. They're smaller than science moderated going to play in this preview window. Then we have this icon, which helps you to change the preview quality and display settings. Then we have this, which we can use to take a snapshot. If you click on this, does go down to media panel here. If you click on this, it's going to take a snapshot of the frame on which URL currently, and you'll get this snapshot here. Let's delete this. Then. You can who worked with the audio volume? And in case you want to go to full screen, you can click this. And there you are. You can go down again and go back to normal. So this is about the preview window now coming down to the timeline. But this here is our timeline. This is where you worked with your clips and layout your entire product. So right now we have one clip here, which we have brought in from the media bed. There are many tasks which you can perform on this clip to edit it, we shall learn about it as we progress in the course. There are various tasks which you can do to your track and did icons will help you to do that. We will again discuss this in great detail later. Then we have many icons here, which will help us to work with our clips and our product. Again, we shall discuss about this as we progress in the course. Now here we have certain icons. Again, I'll be dealing with these icons when we discussed in detail about the timeline. So in this video frames I acquainted you with the interface of Fillmore at 10. Now remember, it's very important to understand and know the layout of the interface. Then only you will be able to work with that particular application efficiently. So as we are going to be progressing in the course, I shall be discussing about most of the items which are there on this interface at the moment. And the moment I mentioned something you should be able to perform that job, for example, effect that we want to go to Effect. We must know where which tab to click on, and there we get the effect. So I hope you understand the importance of understanding the interphase threadbare. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 3. Creating a project: So friends in this video, we are going to learn how to create a new project and certain aspects of creating a project. Now when you launch Fillmore, you will get a splash screen, like what you're seeing right now. And here you have option of creating a new project. So you click on this and you are into the interface of Fillmore are 10. Now before you can see what project you need to import any kind of media. So for that you can click here, go down to the directory where you have your Media, select the media which you want, and then click on Open. So now I have the media here in the media, Ben. And with this selected, you can now go down to file and go down rules here, predict as it gives the name, I will leave it as that and spirit. So you have our project now. Now, in creating a new project, the next step should be to go to File, go down here to Project Settings. And here you get few options like aspect ratio. Let me explain. Anomaly. If you're creating a video for YouTube or for any other purpose are posted on the web. Your screen side is going to be 16 is nine, that is the format which it's being used currently. And if you are going to be posting videos on Instagram than human like to have with that one is to one because that is what is acceptable on inside alone. Then there are other options like 921642321 is 19. Now these are not very commonly used for general purpose, but you have a specific purpose, go ahead and choose them. You can also go in for a custom side as per requirement of your product. So these other options which are in-built within Fillmore 10, then resolution not there are options for your resolutions. By default, you have 1920 into 1080, that is the full high density format. And mostly you'll be using this. You can also go in for, for k provided your camera or your device with which you capture it also is kept filling in for K. You have two options, okay, UHD and UCI. For k choose from this as part of the government. But here I must caution you that if you're working in for k, then the file size is going to be quite big. And your editing process may become a bit slow because this format, as a resource hungry, that requires a very powerful computer to edit. So keep that in mind. You can also go in for custom size resolution as per your requirement. Then you have this 12, 18, 2020 that you'll be high density. Let me tell you. This makes the video quite small and easy to upload or to open. And Lord, on the web, I will always prefer it to when I'm making a video to be viewed on line, because this is going to be much faster and will play smoothly. So keep that in mind. So based on what I have discussed with you, you can choose whatever format you want do currently, the most popular resolution is 1920 by 10 800, so we will stick with that. Then you can also decide to have the aspect ratio or to unlock the aspect ratio that you can for video making it better to keep the aspect ratio lock, then we have the option of frame rate. So you can choose any frame rate here. Few recommendations for videos 23.97 works fine. If you have captured with any kind of mobile device, let's say iPhone, it captures attractive frames per seconds. So keep that in mind and it may be preferable to have your products I also at 30 frames per second. You also have options or 50 frames, 59194 and 16 frames per second. Modern cameras do captured at the higher frame rates. And therefore, if your project requires to be so go ahead and choose that, but normally keep it at 44 or three or 30 frames and that should meet your requirement. I will leave it at 24 frames per second and click on Okay. So our project now is basically set to start our editing. And for doing that, you just grab this clip, put it on your timeline, and carry on with the editing. It is always advisable to keep your clips to Project Settings. So I will select our 1922 10024 frames per second. And now we can start editing our clip. So friends in this video, I discussed with you about how to create a new project and what are the various settings which you can modify or change as by requirement of your products. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 4. Importing and editing videos: Hi friends. In this video we will learn how to import media into Fillmore are 10 and how to carry out a simple edit to import media here in the media. Then you can either click on this icon here or you can go down to import and you have various options. You can use any one of them to import video. Let's do this by clicking this icon. So click on it. And then you can navigate to the folder where you have your media placed. I have already been using this holder circuit open on its own. Now I want to import this media. So click on it and click on open. This media clip now appears here. You can just press the left mouse and then drag it onto the timeline and leave the mouse. You get this kind of a message. You could select any one of them. Normally I like to keep Project Settings. So I will click here. And once the soundtrack and appeared, that means your media has now fully being loaded here. As you can see the moment I have placed the media on their timeline, it is also appeared in the preview window. Let us go to the beginning. So this is how you import media now to carry out some basic editing, I don't want certain portion in the beginning in this video clip which I'm editing. So I'm willing to just play with this. This is where I want to stop and start. Now, I want to delete the portion which is before this point. So all that I need to do is either go down here to split all. Here we have icon. We can just click on the Select, click on this one. And you'll find that our clip hell now split. Let's select the first one and press the Delete key on the keyboard. And the initial portion has now got deleted and we have the clip as we want. Now. That is a portion in-between retire want to delete and I know very detail, so I'm going to scrub this. Here. You can see there's some kind of artifact which is coming and somebody who head, I guess. I don't want that to be in video. So I'm going to place my playhead at a point where that begins somewhere here. And I'm going to click on Split. Now. Then I'm going to again scrub the playhead ahead and stop when it finishes the silhouette. And I'm going to click this icon here once again. And there we have a small portion which we have a split from left and right, and we can just press the Delete key, and that portion vanishes. For, let's just play this. So you must have noticed where we split the thing that changes quite abrupt to make the transition smoother, we can apply a transition. So let's go down here. And I'm going to apply this one. Let's grab this and it got to drag it and place it like this. Now let's play this clip again. So as you must have noticed, the transition now was interesting and at the same time, you didn't notice the cut where we split the video and jointed together. So friends in this video I explained to you how to import media in your project and how to carry out a simple edit. This is just the beginning. We're going to go into much more detail so that by the time we finish this course, you are master at editing your videos and also creating 48, which would be really appealing to the eyes. So that's it for this video. Take and happy learning. 5. About the timeline: Hi friends. So in this video, we are going to learn about the timeline. I dare say that timeline is the most important component of Fillmore x. This is where you lay out the clips and carry out editing on them. Where you can add text, you can add special effects. You can edit audio. The whole Jing Bang, the same way you would do it. So we need to understand that. Firstly, on the timeline, you have drags where you place your media. It could be video, it could be audio, it could be images, as I put it here at the moment. And when you do that, all of them are on their own tracks, stacked on top of each other. So to manage the track, we have got few buttons here. Like using this, you could either lock the track. So once you lock the track, you get this kind of diagonal lines, lines on top. Now, any kind of editing which you do will not affect this track. You can unlock it. You can also make it visible or invisible. So let's say this track on top is now masking that tribe which is below. So we can see the track below. Now in case for whatever reason we want to see that track, our playhead is, we can make it any reasonable that track. And now we are able to see that track below. We can again make it visible and the track below is not visible anymore. Another thing to understand on timeline here, the scale. Here, this scale depicts that time. So if you have your playhead lecture here and here that 31 seconds, that means your footage has already played about 31 seconds here. Place it here, then it's about 52 seconds. So this needs to be understood because while placing additional media on your timeline, this would be handy because you can ascertain as to where and in what time frame do you want a particular object or media to appear in your video? And now there are two tabs here. This first one helps you to manage that track. So if I click on it, you can aggregate your tracks, you can add audio tracks, you can delete empty tracks, you can adjust track height, and you can open tract manager. So all this task can be performed right from Task Manager. And here you have our torque ripple on or off icon, or you can call it button using this, you can put the auto on or off. How to use this. I'll be discussing in a separate video altogether. Let's now learn about few other icons or tools which are available to be used on the timeline. And first of all, is the undo button. Using this, whatever task you have done, you can undo it. And this is a blue button. And then here we have the Delete button. And let's say we have this selected and we want to delete this clip so you can just click on this. The video gets deleted from the given track. Now you want to undo this. You can just go here and click on Undo. Now this tool here is to split that clip about this more later that we can use this to crop the video. I will have a separate video all together on this. Then we have Icon button, which helps us to change the speed of the clip. Then we have a button which lets us work with the color adjustment in that clip. We can also note this particular button helps us to apply green-screen effect. Then we have motion tracking and we have keyframing, and then we have edit. All these icons I'll be discussing in detail in separate video all together, all these tools that we have certain buttons here which let us carry out certain tasks, like you want to render the preview, you can use this button here. You can use this to add markers. You can use this icon to record a voiceover. You can use this for audio mixer. In case you want to zoom in to fit your entire clip, you can click on this and your entire clip I'm going to fit on the screen. Then you can also use the slider to adjust what you need to view on your timeline. So friends in this video, I will explain to you what timeline is and what can you do using the timeline, how to work with the timeline, and what options and tools are available on your timeline for editing or enhancing your videos. So keep these aspects in mind and as we progress in this course, you will learn much more as to how to their timeline to edit your video then apply certain affects, apply Titans, et cetera. So that is all I have for you in this video. Take care and happy learning. 6. Editing videos: Hi friends. In this video, we are going to have a look at options which are available to us to edit videos. Now this is going to be a part from cut and split action, which I have explained to you in a different video altogether. Now this is going to be just an overview. Most of the, the aspects I'll be dealing with in separate videos altogether. So right now I have one clip in media panel. Let's drag this to the timeline. For any kind of editing, you need to have your clip on the timeline and we are done and have it selected not to carry out any kind of editing. You need to go down to this tab or button and click on it. And on the top left corner you get four tabs. Read your audio, color and animations. Using this, we can carry out changes to the properties of the video I just explained to you one aspect and others. I'll be explaining two separate videos altogether. Let's say you want to transform so you can rotate the video and I'm doing it. And to bring it back to its original position, just click on this and it back. Just like what you can do in editing images. You can flip your video. You can flip it vertically also. You can scale your we do. You can also change the position on the y and x-axis. And to bring it back to its original position, always click this icon here. And you will be at the place from where you started. Then you have the options to composite. You can blend with elements on different tracks. You can also reduce the opacity or impedes opacity of your video. I'll be discussing this aspect in a separate video altogether. Then you have the option of motion tracking. Again, I'll be discussing this in a separate video altogether. You can also stabilize your video, which I have discussed in a separate video. You can use chroma key and discussed in a separate video in detail. You can carry out lens corrections. You can drop shadows. The concept of dropping the shadow stay the same as what I've explained when it comes to editing images. So have a look at that. And you can also auto enhance it. Then Adios, You can adjust audio in your videos about this. I have gone into great detail in a separate video altogether, so have a look at it. Now the color changes which you can bring in to your video elements have again main discuss in great detail in a separate video altogether. So please have a look at it at animation. We'll be discussing in a separate video together. I will not touch on this in this video. Now the aim of this video, just to explain to you the possibilities within the Fillmore are 10 to be able to edit and make changes to the properties of a video which you are going to be editing using this particular platform for details, I've created separate videos on various aspects. Kindly have a look at it. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 7. Splitting videos: So friends in this video we are going to learn how to cut our split, a videoclip to edit our video. This is an essential part of carrying out any kind of edit and fill morale 10. So let's have a look at it. First of all, we need to import the clip which we want to work on for that has click here in the folder from where we want to pick up the video. Let's scroll down and select that video. In my case, the center one which I want to work on. Click on this and open it. And now we need to drag this onto the timeline so it doesn't grab it and drag it onto the timeline. So you get this kind of window and we're going to keep the project settings. You can choose from any options. I would like to choose, this one. So I will click here. Another video is going to get imported and Agile camp serious thing that thumbnails on the timelines. Or you can grab hold of the plate and move ahead. And Gautama point from where you wonder video, no, I don't want this initial bit within my clip for the product retire working on. I just want the clip when the board is entering the theme. So for that, I can either split and stopping at a point where I want to cut the video for now, to cut the video on the playhead, you have this icon. You can click on this and you can cut all split the video. Or you can even use this button here, which says clip selected media at playhead location. So either of them you can use, I find this to be more convenient. So I'll click here. Once you've clicked here, you select the initial bit and then you can just press the Delete key. Now right now, you must have noticed that once you've deleted our balance of the clip is where it was when it comes to petition. So we can select this or drag it to the beginning. Let's just undo this. I want to expand you certain things. Or let's again and do it for this clip is here. Let's select this. Now here we have two options, like it said, auto off. If I click on this, now it will going to be auto ripple on. So if you have this auto ripple on and now delete this clip, see how on its own but clip I'll mood and gone right to the beginning of the timeline. Let's just undo this. Let's have this as auto repo on every right-click this. Here. Again, we have this option of either delete or ripple delete. So every ripple delete. Again, even if we don't have this selected, our group has gone to the buildings. So this is one aspect to understand. I want to cut a portion out in-between though, I am going to go here and I don't want this particular portion within my clip from here to here. So again, we're going to split this and then we're going to move up. And I want now from here, once again, I'm going to cut this off. So now we are to segment, this is a segment here. This is what is yeah, and then we have a segment in between. And we don't want this segment here. So all that I need to do is right-click and click on Delete and then the portion which I want and it is now available to me. So let's see. So we have picked up segments from a larger clip and got it now set by cutting and editing using Fillmore are 10 saw that this can now be used other video clip, the way I want it to be presented to my audience. So in this video, I explained to you how to cut our split a videoclip to edit the portion which you desire. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 8. Cropping videos: So French, In this video, we're going to learn how to crop a video. There will be occasions when you want to crop your video. So that would just include the elements which you want in the video. Now that can all be done quite easily. So here on the timeline, on the fidelity right-click and you'll get really as options. And one of them is crop and zoom. So click on this and you'll get this window already. Your footage or video has got a bounding box. There are options here, like you could do it in or either ratio. You could do it as 16 is to 94231 is to 19216. Or you can even have a custom crop. Let's say you want original ratio. The aspect ratio will stay the same. You can catch hold off the corner and you can play around and Herat they were you want to let say you want to have it here and you can play it, and you can see if it meets your requirement. And you'll get a very clear cut feedback as to what has been cropped. In case you're not happy with this, you can reset it. So you click here on reset and your bounding box and gets a reset. Let's say we want to crop it for uploading it to Instagram. The ratio normally one is to one. So click on it. And here you get the bounding box suggesting that this is what would be included. You can again play it to see that whether this meets your requirement. So to find it appropriate, which I am finding at the moment, you can go ahead and click on, Okay. And here you also getting a feedback as to what is going to be the size of your reduced. It is that easy to be able to crop video. I don't want to really come into this, or let's come at it and see what happens. So let's say, we're happy with this. We can click on, okay. And if you're not happy with this, you can always reset and play around with these options which are available with you, Let's say OK. Now, this has been applied into the main preview window. You can play this in case you're not happy, like initially avoidable getting cut, but I wanted it that way so that I could have the then you can scrub the playhead like we have it. We scrubbed the plate, let that push the eye here. And then we could split this. We could delete the footage in which we don't want. And we can play it again. And there I think this should work out. So this is a nice short for dead, which were created by cropping our video to be able to upload it to Instagram as per the ratio and side with Instagram excepts. So this should work out as far as the row cropping your radio their concern. And you can always make certain adjustments and redo it if you want to. So in this video, I explained to you how you can crop or radio to the side which you require. And if required, you can also delete certain portions of the video while cropping as per your requirement. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 9. Importing images: So friends in this video, we are going to learn to work with images, to work with the media. The first thing we need to do is to import image for that. Let's click here and then navigate to the folder where they may lie. So I have few images yet. And to import anyway, I need to click on that and then click on Open. And the immediate node here in the media men. You can now press your left mouse and drag it on to the timeline. And there it is. So by default, it has a duration of about five seconds recap and gender duration. By moving on to the edge of the clip, you'll see the cursor is now changing. And we can grab it and drag it to whatever length we want it to be. And a billion feedback, as you can see, I've just sent to the clip as to what damages covering for this is how you can change the time. That is one Second thing is that you can right-click on it and on the flyout menu you have this option duration. Here also, you can change the duration by just dragging it as I'm doing both ways. So let's say that you want to reduce the size, the duration of the clip, you go and you just click on Okay, and then the clip has now got truncated as far as the time offers display is concerned. Right-click again, go to duration. And we can increase the time by dragging this around, doing. Having done. So, click on, Okay. And there it is. So this is how you import an image in your project. And you can change the duration of the clip or the image for which you want it to be displayed on the timeline. That's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 10. Editing Images: So French In this video, we are going to learn about certain edit options when it comes to editing images. I have here two images in the media panel. Let's drag it to the timeline. Here they are. And I'm going to be using these images to explain the editing concepts. Abolition, let me make the top layer invisible. And we'll see that changes on this particular image. We'll use the top layer a bit later. So to be able to work with the media, the first thing that you should have, the track selected on which you have the image which I have just done. And then you need to go down here. This is the button. By clicking on this, we get options for editing our images. So click on this. And then finally around left side. Now we have three tabs, image, color and animation. Using these, we can make changes to our immediate. Let's first talk about immediate itself so we can change the properties of the image. Now, first of all, transform, we can rotate the image, you can see to any directions. And if we want to bring it back to the original state, we just click and we can flip them horizontally and vertically. We can also scale the image. And we can also turn their position on x and y-axis. And remember to bring your remained back exotic place, we just need to click this button here and it will revert back. You could also click here to reset. All right, let's close this compositing. We have options to blend and we have options to change opacity. I have covered this aspect in detail in a separate video all together. So have a look at that then chroma key. Once again, I have covered this in great detail in a separate video altogether. So please have a look at that. Now coming to Lens Correction, the option is there. And you can do that by checking in here. But then the profile and the models covered are very limited. As you will see, they only lead to few kind of cameras. And not all of us, you the same camera. So I'm not going to be covering this. I will just to recommend to you that do the lens correction in the original image editing software, rare in which you have made the changes earlier and you can adjust the levels to. This is something which I would like to explain to you that you're dropping the shadow. For that, we need to check this and we are going to make the top layer with one. So we have a wagered. Let's select that image and let's resize it. Bring it on here. Now we are going to apply the shadow on there. So if you click on drop shadow, see how the shadow have got applied. Now you're going to end the distance of the shadow. And I'm doing it. You can blurry shadow as I'm glad. You change the opacity. You can change the shadow color. Let's get it back to already know. And you can also change the direction of the shadow by using this agenda that taking pairs, if you observe the eraser, as you must have, rely on a weekend, drop shadows or not images. Now coming to auto enhance the selling this, you have the amount of whatever you want to auto announcement. So you have this option, but I do not really find it very useful. You can play around with the slider and see how it works for you. But I'm okay with not using it. Now then this tab color so you can make to you in color. If you open this panel here, you can have the options of auto. Then you can turn the threshold. You can see that January which are taking place. You can also turn the values of color enhancement. Do all this to a limit where you are, You made, it looks cool, you don't really have to go and apply on this. Then the white balance you can make junior than white balance. If you want to make it cool. Pull this slider to the left and see how to becoming cooler. If you want to make it warmer, you can work towards the right. You can also affect that tent of images. So all of these options are available. Make use of it, but do it judiciously, don't unnecessarily tinker with it too. Because if you overdo it, it may spoil your image. Then comes the tone right here. We can improve the contrast by using this slider. You can affect the saturation of the image if I'm going left into becoming desaturated, if I go right into becoming saturated. And then you can also affect the brightness of your image. You can make it darker. You can brighten it up. Then we have 3D lattice muddied up, basically presets which you can apply to images. See how the changes are taking place. Once again, I would like to caution you that only you that if absolutely essential for your project. Let's go back to none. And then you have this option of color match this aspect I'll be dealing with in a separate video altogether. And the third tab lets you add a motion to your images. I will not be discussing this aspect here at all. I'll recovering animation or animating or you may get it in a separate video altogether. So friends in this video, I'll give you an insight into various options which are available to you to make certain changes to your image and the property of the Fourier image. I will again caution you that use these options to the minimum. Otherwise it must follow your image. Ideally, you should make the changes to your image in the original image editing software which you use to post-process your images. But in case you want to do it, The options are available, infill Morrow x, go ahead and use it, but use it to the minimum. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 11. FilmoraX multiple images: So friends in this video we are going to learn how to import multiple immediate in our product for that click here, or you can even import from her but left clicker. And then navigate to the folder where the immediate lie and select the immediate which you want to import. In my case, I'll select the three images and click on open. So when the media is getting imported, you'll find that all of them are in selected mode. When they are in this small, you can bring them down to the timeline together, press the mouse and drag them, and they're all your images are now on the timeline. You can also do select them and then bring them one-by-one. That's entirely up to now to change the duration of the images for your work or for the requirement of your project. You right-click again and go to duration. And you can scrub right or left to increase the duration or reduce the duration. Let's say we want to include the version 2 about around 10 seconds. Having said that I am, Let's click on OK and see only the duration of this last clip has changed. I'll tell you why. So let's just go here and click on Undo. Now here, the icon here are taught to pull off. So you need to put on hybrid Department of ritual on earlier and now for right-click, go to duration. Include a direction to say about ten seconds. And click on, Okay. And then the duration of all the immediate have now changed. Now you can work on the, the media that we want to. We shall do few things on the radius. I'll explain to you in a separate video altogether. So friends in this video I explained to you how to import multiple immediate then your project and how to change the duration of the numerators together. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 12. Working with text and titles: So friends in this video, we are going to learn how to use text and insert text in our videos. So here we have a video and we want to put some text on this video. So how can we do that? For that, we have this option, go to this tab titles, click on it. And there are many pre-built way the putting text on your videos. You can create custom, which I have not done so far. Then you've got openers, you've got titles, you were lower thirds, you weren't subtitles. Got any graded. You can also put in plain text and you can put em call out. We are going to deal with all these kinds of titles or text at some stage or the other way creating our video. By the time this course finishes, you would have used most of them. But in this video, my aim is to explain to you the basics that I'm going to do it in a very simple manner. Whatever you learn here in this video is going to be applicable for any kind of text with you're going to be putting or creating any videos. I'm going to take a very simple example. Let's go down to titles. And here we are going to use the first one. To apply any kind of text. All that you need to do is click on this plus sign here. So click here. And you will find that on our timeline you have now an object which has come here. Let's put our layered on top of it. And then you have this textbook is dead. Now this, by default, what's available at the preset, which I brought him into the video. When you click on it, you'll find that a Title Group controller comes up, you're using this, you can scale the text. Let's reduce that. You can rotate it. You can even publish on it. So let's say the x-axis, you can move like this. Let us bring it here. And on y-axis, you can take it on top or bring it down. Let's bring it here so that you now have our text, which is available to you to display any kind of information. Not to be able to work on this text. Just double-click on this particular object on the timeline, double-click it, and you'll get options. Now these are the basic options when it comes to formatting your text. Here, you can change the content. Let's call this. That's the name of the bird that you can format this text like any other. You can change the font if you want to. Let's see what this font you click on it and the font has changed. You want to change the size of the font. You can do that. You click decided that dude, or if you want to make it even bigger, you could do that. That's a bit too big. So I want to bring it down to, let's say about 90. That should be fine. Now in case you want to change the styling of this text, that also can be done. There are a lot of presets available to you on the panel to the left. As you can see here. We are on the default right now, you could use a yellow color. In fact, any one of these you can use in your project, you could make it blue. You need to click on this plus icon here. You could make it outlined white text. So any one of the biggest available on the piece that can be used in your project. Let's say you want to use this grid care and there it is, even this one, you can change now. Then you also have various options like making it bold, italics. You have any settings here like that. Right now it's black. You could make it white. You can make it gray. Whatever meets your requirement. You can even chain that text spears. Let me just change the color here. Okay. Now you can change the taxpayers the opening out, or you can reduce the space within the text. You can also change the line spacing provided you have more than one line in this case is not applicable. And we can also change the alignment of this text. Let's say you click, you are now. So by using this box, you can change the alignment of the text. This is relative to where your text is. Initially, you can bring it here. You can take it up. You can bring it to the center where it was earlier so you can change the alignment of the text as we discussed. Then you can transform, you could rotate it, you can scale it, you can position it. These options are also available in this title group controller, and then you can also do compositing. So let's say you want to reduce the opacity. You can reduce the opacity of this particular text as we are doing, then you have this advanced option. If you click on it, your panel has now changed and has come into the center. There. As we have already worked on. You can customize night. Darren said nothing there to configure, we need to select the text. And we can work on this. We can import a gene that text. Basically what we can do in basics can all be done here. But there are certain more options like Texas border, you can change here. Let's say we want to make the text border to black. And then we can do that. You can even blend the text to them or do you want to, but that's the border which we're blending. You can include the size. There are many options available. You can even chain the shadow of the text. So the Advanced panel has many more options and you can also animate the text if you go, there are many options available. I will discuss about the animation in a separate video. Now, once you are done with it, you just click on Okay. And there, whatever changes you made to the text has now got applied. So friends in this video, I will explain to you how to insert text using the titles tab in your projects and how to format this text using the basic panel and also how to use the advanced panel. We will be working with text and titles in greater detail as we continue in this course. And I'll try and cover almost all aspects of how to create good titles, how to create animations using text, how to transform your text, and much more. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 13. Replacing audio: So friends in this video, I will explain to you how to replace audio and video clip. There will be times when you have some kind of video which you do not want. So let's play this clip. As you must have realized that there is breathing noise, my bed has been recorded, which is quite irritating to the years, and I want to replace it. So for that, we need to right-click on the clip on their timeline. And you get this kind of a flyout menu. You need to go down to detach audio, click on that, and your audio now had got detached. Select that and press the Delete key on my keyboard to delete that audio. Now we need to import or select an audio track from the Audio tab. So click on Audio tab here in the menu, and we have two clips available to us. I want this one does click on the plus sign and it will get added to your product, go down to the beginning. And there it is. We just want the side of the clip, which is equivalent to the video. For that, selectors. Adjust the play head here, like this, with the audio clip selected, click on this little icon, and your audio clip has now been split into, we don't want the right portion for just press the Delete key on the keyboard. Now we have this audio which we want. Let's play it. So that's it. We have detach the audio and replace that with a new clip, which we want. And now we can export our video and create a new video. So let's do that. Click on export. And here we will change the name to our more clip. There are two. And we'll leave the settings editors and click on Export. So this export part will take some time. So our video has now been exported and we have a new clip with the fresh audio as we denied suffrage. In this video, I explained to you how you can detach, delete, and then replace audio or video clip using Fillmore arctan. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 14. FilmoraX adjust audio: So friends, in this video, we will learn how to adjust audio and also cleared some kind of special effects in your audio. For that, we have here two audio clips. On one, we have got the y soil, and on one we've got a background music to the clip. So let's say we want to increase the sound of the background music. The first thing is let's go to the track of why solar and knew that. Now let's play it. And you must have realized that the background music which are port as you can barely hear it. So if you want to increase it, you can just on this line, when it changes to this hand cursor, you can bring it up or you can bring it down. The second option is that you right-click on this and you click around, adjust audio. And you'll get this window here. Whether many sliders using which you can work on your audio. If you take this, and in fact, let's first plate. So the indicator is giving you whether liberal it, you can increase the lumen. Bring it up to let us six. And now let's play this. See how the sound has now increased. You can give it further. You can also adjust the left and right speaker audio in case of recorded in a studio. But we will leave it to the center because we want a balance. Some, let us uncheck this voiceover or above. I guess the art extent. So now, because the music which we have integrated with our video is quite loud, he didn't interfering with the voice-over. And you can see how effective that camera was off and it's distracting. So what we can do is we can do ducking that you lower the volume of our clip. So every have this selected. And now we lower the volume of other clips. See how the volume of this clip on which we have got the background music has become low. Now let's play this quantity for all 600 MM that then are wonderful. So that's a nice facility which we have here. Let us see what are the other options. Let's increase the audio, but that should be okay. Let us now reduce this 100. There's just one demonstration, I'm doing it. And let's now play the music from binding. So the music starting straight away, I want that it will fade in. For that, we have a slider here. And if we grab the slider and we pull it to the right, see how Keep your eyes on the timeline and see how on the clip on which you want to freedom. That is the indicator which is showing us that the volume is fading end. Now let's previous recording I started soil music is now starting in a freighted manner. Now we can also feed out for now if you drag the right side of your clip, Holocaust fading out. And let us now played him. Click on, Okay. So now your music is fading out. Not this would be a very nice way of giving a better professional look to your audio. Let's mute this music for a while because I want to explain few things using the voiceover. Now you have this option of pitch. Right now is 0. So the pictures are normal. Are we doing it out as quite L? Now we want to kind of ensure that nobody understands who's that I was speaking. There may be occasions when you would like to lower the pitch law on it and now plate. So you must have seen these kind of things in movie, the non let all that can be done here. And you can also include the pitch. So let's have enqueue the prints and let's play it. Okay, let's bring it back to the law. In fact, you can just click here and they'll get it back to 0 and back assembler. Now having this selected, you can also remove background noise. So if we check mark this your background noise, the clip which are recorded will get removed and it'll work three. But this week, mid and strong triad, all these positions week normally works well. If you have a good mic, if you have still more noise, you can go to med and strong, but remember, your quality of voice-over will deteriorate as you increase to mid and strong. Let's take this to mid and C. So I have not like this. Let go back to vk and clear this bit. By Cassandra and Asia has been, that's okay. And it was taken care of the background. It's cool. So friends, there are many options are available within Fillmore, are tenor to adjust your audio, do make use of these when you have a background music integrated into your video to get it to your desired volume. Also, you're there to customize your audio. Now that is the option of Collider tool. And at this I would say try out. Please set which are reliable and only if you are audio experts should you go in for customizing the equalizer? So that's my recommendation. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 15. Color grading: So friends in this video, we are going to learn how to color grade or video. When you take a video, Not every time you will get the correct exposure or correct color, because it will all depend on the prevailing light in a given situation. So you will require to collaborate. Now I had taken the video of this armoured Falcon feeding itself and it was pretty cloudy, so I don't have the kind of light which I wanted. And obviously it says it was cloudy. The colors are not as vibrant and I would like it to be. So I can improve all that. And Fillmore are 10 by using the color grading options. To invoke the color grading option, you have few ways of doing that. First of all, you can just go to the clip and double-click on it, and you'll get these options. So from the tab you can have video, audio or colors or to the Color tab and you have the options of color enhancement, white, balanced, gone, 3D LUT. Now 3D LUT is a different way of calving your videos and we shall discuss that in a different video. So we're going to uncheck this. We can go to Advanced from here. If you click on Advanced, you get this kind of a panel. Using desks, you can improve your color grade of the video. Let's close this. And other option is that from her above the timeline you have certain icons and one of them is the advanced colored tool. So click on that. You have two options, color correction and color match. For this video, Let's do four color correction. You click on it. And once again, you have the panel using which you can do the color grading. Let's close this. The third option is that on the clip, on the timeline, right-click. And you'll get this flyout menu. Here again, you have this option of Color Correction. Click on it. And you get the same panel in front of you using which you can collect our x. So we will do using this particular panel. Now for color grading, you have your clip, which is right in front of you. And what I want to do is I want to improve the exposure. I want to improve the colors and contrast in this particular video on the left side here, you have certain presets. So you can just scroll through these and see which one you'd like to use. You can use any one of them. Like if you want a cool color, you can click on it. If you want a warm color, you can use this preset. You can use the warm Mac, so you have various options, go through them and use the one which you like. I normally only brighten up here, so I'll click on Brighton and I will see you in the video. You're now looking much brighter, but the colors are not what I really want. And neither the exposure or contrast sought to find you on the color grading. I normally go to this tab here, adjust, and now you have more advanced options, not auto thing. I never touched because it is going to spoil your Alton. The first thing is white balance. Let me explain what this does. So here you have options of either making the temperature cool or making it warms. If you take it to left, you can see that your temperature of the video is reducing. It's becoming more towards the blue. I don't want it like that. And if you go further right, is becoming much more warm. Again, this is not very conducive to my requirements, so I can just about bringing it up v bit lower to make it look normal and this looks fine to me. Now as far as printers concerned, you can use this and you will see if we bring it towards the left of becoming, going towards green. If I bring it towards right, it's becoming a bit towards the 10 day, so I am going to leave it somewhere here. This is appealing to my eyes quite well. So having done this, I do not want to tinker with the loved separate ballgame altogether, so we learn about it in a separate video. So uncheck it, now, come into color. You have various options within this tab. You can improve the exposure. Now since I had initially applied a preset deck SCADA already been collected. So if you take this towards the right, you're increasing the exposure. If you take it towards the left, you are decreasing the exposure. So I'm going to do it somewhere. Here. This mix made a comment and that's fine. Then you have this option of brightness. I can make it a bit brighter. So if I take you to write is becoming very bright. And if I take it to left, it is becoming darker. I'm going to just about make it this might, I think that should be fine. Then either Contrast, It's only when improved by the preset which we applied earlier. But we can again play around with this. And the contrast is now increasing your ticket or the left, creative, decreasing for landscape it somewhere here, that should be fine. Now the vibrance has been increased quite a bit ticket, right? It will increase further if you take it left, the vibrance is decreasing. So we are going to leave it somewhere here. And that should be fine. In case you want to make the color more saturated. You could grab this and take it to the right, see how the colors are getting more saturated. But now the grassy looking very, very collided, I'm appealing to my eyes. So I want to leave this saturation back to neutral, or maybe just a wee bit because we can do this in at yourself also. Now then we have another panel that in the light. Let's go there. And here. We can reduce the highlights or include the highlights. So if we take it to whether IT, How did creating it will take you to the left, it is decreasing. I'm just going to reduce the highlight of EBIT. Then you can open up the shadows or increase the shadows using this slider. So codon your ticket right, see how the shadow opening up. And if you take it off to the left, you're creating more shadows. So I'm just going to open up the shadow just a wee bit. That's it. Again, white's helps you to correct the exposure if you take it to the right. The white side, including in particular to the lives of becoming darker. I want to do it slightly increased. That's red and black. I really don't want to tinker with it, but just to expand if I could towards the left, the black sign cleaving. And if I go towards the right, the plaques are decreasing. Maybe just a wee bit. I want to make the blacks darker so that I have a better contrast and nothing more than that. Now, let's come to at yourself options. Now here, if we just move the sliders, it will apply across the entire video, but I don't want to do that. So I have options off which color do I want to effect? I want to affect this color that is green, so I will select this dot here. Now, similarly, whichever color you want to effect, you can select that. And we are willing to work with the hue. So let's say I want to have this kind of a you, or maybe that I want to have this kind of rule. Now to me, this looks more natural, so I want to keep it here. Another saturation of the hue, of the color of the grass appears to be not very pleasing to my eyes. So I want to just check by moving the slider. Now this is making it even worse. Schwann want to reduce this by going to the left. And this is quite okay for me. Now the bird stands out against the background. You can also similarly tinker with aluminums. You want to decrease the luminance. You go towards the left, you want to include aluminum, go towards the right. I'm going to leave it at neutral friends. This is how you actually do the collaborating by using the presets and the advanced options which are available in field boron 10. Now, another thing that you can do is use minute. You can, and that helps you out. You may with it, you may not do that. Let's do a bit dry and be subtle in all these options. Otherwise you will end up with problems. Can also didn't go with size, roundness, feather. So play around with this to get the correct kind of vignette which you required. Don't be too extreme and applying these because this mess file, your video. Now having done that, if you want to see what have you achieved, you have two options here. If you press on this, this is where we started with, and this is what we have achieved after color grading. I think that's quite an improvement. So use this in between to check your work. You also have this option of comparing before and after. So if you click on it, you have this option of side-by-side is split view. Our split view too, Let's check side-by-side. So click on this. And that it had, we started with this clip and we are now at this clip to me the grassy looking a bit brighter, so we can go back to gala or other. I just select this again and I'm going to make it a bit more and dull and also reduce the unions a bit. That looks okay to me and I'm going to now click OK. Now if you're not happy with this, you can also reset this by clicking here on reset, all. Okay with that. So I'm going to very soon Click on. Okay. Let me just also explained to you one aspect. If you want to save what you've done at a preset, you can click on Save As preset. You will get options and you can save it as a preset. So I'm quite happy with what I have done now and I'm going to click on, Okay. So see, this is now got applied to the main clip which we have on the timeline. Let's play it. So this clip now looks to me quite good and much better than from where we started. So friends said how you color grade your videos. Go through this video a couple of times and you will understand the basic concepts and the various options which are available to color grade your videos. So that's it for this video, take care and happy learning. 16. FilmoraX stablization: So friends in this video we are going to learn how to stabilize footage. Venule take radios, handheld. You may land up with shaky videos which are not very appealing to the eyes, and therefore you may require to stabilize it and fill Mora 10. You have options to stimuli such a reduced to some extent. And let's have a look at what the process is. So you'll need to first check your video. Therefore, just play this. You must have noticed that this video is clearly shaky. Let's play it again. And that is not very appealing to the eye. So let's go back. And now what we're going to do is select the timeline, right-click on it, and you will get these options from here. Go down to sterilization. Click on it. Film laura 10 will start to analyze and sterilize your radio added happening now. And depending on the side of the fatigue, may take quite some time. So while this was happening, go and have a cup of coffee, and then we'll come back again. Our photon has now been stabilized by Fillmore are ten and it will, you will also notice that the left panel here below civilization, where you have this lighter, you play your video after sterilization. I think has done a good job. But in case you want to increase the stabilization, you can increase the smooth level by using the slider lecture. You go up to 25. The Sunni-Shia. Let's go to 25. You see the more you increase the smooth level, the better will be the stabilization. But you will also notice that the video is now getting cropped from all directions. So you've got to keep in mind at what level your content looks. All right, and keep that level. Let's say I wanted to about 20 because I want more area to be visible in the video. Then here you have the option of a processing. It can be reflect, it can be none. It can retire, it can be extended liberty to none that is better. Others are very disturbing to me. And to apply their sterilization now, you can press Okay, but before that, let us just watch the video. Right now. Let me compare this with a previous video. Before that we need to apply the changes or click on, Okay, and let me bring in one more instance of the radio. Let's play this. So this was your video to begin with, an obvious tabloid it, and let's see how this looks Much better. I presume much remember one thing is to obliging or videos in software may not be the best answer, the best answer live in using a gimbal, if you are moving and walking or putting a camera on a tripod. And the best way to stabilize your video. Notwithstanding, if you have not used any one of them, you still have the option to stimuli that which I just demonstrated. And the modern painter done a good job of it. So that's it for this video. Take and happy learning. 17. FilmoraX transitions: Hi friends. In this video, I'm going to explain to you how to use a transitions. Transitions are a nice way of smoothly starting a clip or moving from one clip to be other in a very smooth manner, regions pleasing to the eyes. If you do it without transition, it's quite abrupt and not very pleasing to the eyes. Let me explain. Start playing this video. To the commencement of this video was quite abrupt. You just started playing it. We can apply a transition to make it more pleasing to the eyes. I just explained to you how that can be done. Now, again, here we go down here and move from one clip to the other. They're split this. So this was very abrupt sanely, the next clip came in front and that are not very pleasing to the eyes. So we can apply transitions to work this out better. But let's go back to the beginning of the clip. And to apply transitions, you need to go to the Transitions tab. So here we have the transition tab, click on it, and you have various options of transitions. As you can see, there are numerous of them. I'm going to demonstrate just few of them. And in your own time period, explore all these and shortlist whatever you think is useful to you. So in this clip, let's apply one transition right at the beginning. For that, you just click on the transition. This one will dissolve, bring it down to the point where you wanted and leave it. Now that transition and got applied, and as you can see, our preview area looking darker, Let's play it. So this transition from beginning to playing up the video was quite smooth from a dark. We had the video playing and let look quite good. In a similar manner. A, we come down here and we plate. So this is not abrupt. To smooth this out, we can put her transition and let's get this Cube transition. Click on it and apply it, and let's now play it. So you must have realized that this is a much better way of moving from one clip to the other. Now, right now it's taking a bit of time. So you can increase and decrease the duration of the transition for that. If you right-click on the concerned a transition and you'll get these options of soil properties. Delete split duration. So let's click on Show properties. And that on this panel we have various options. Using this, you can increase or decrease the duration. You can also have various transition mode. Right now it's on overlap. You can have prefix, you can have post-fix. So we are going to decrease the duration by using this slider here. And let you make a judge to about a second. And you can apply to all all the transition here. You're going to apply that. Let's do that so that in the beginning Also we have that, or we can just leave it additives and we can click on, Okay. So now we have reduced the duration of the transition and let's play it again. So this looks much better to me. So I'm sure you got the idea of what transitions are all about and how to apply them. Our videos, it can be applied at the beginning of a clip. It can be applied to switch between one clip to the other. It can we apply it at the end of the clip? Knowledge? See, how do we apply an end of the clip? So here we have this transition. Let's say we want to feed out. We can bring it here. And let's go here. And now played. And they are clip fades out. You can again adjust the timing of the clip of the transition as per your requirement by double-clicking and you'll get this option here. You can reduce a duration. Let's reduce it a bit. That's fine. And say, Okay, let's now play it. Or you can even extend that if you want to make it more pleasing. So let us do it. So friends in this video, I explained to you what transitions on how to use the transition to smoothly start the clip or to transition from one clip to the other end the clip. I also explained to you how you can change the duration of the clip. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 18. FilmoraX effects: So friends in this video, we will learn how to apply effects to our videos. To be able to do that, we need to import the footage of that clip. So click here. And I want this clip, select that and click on open. So there we have the portrayed in the media, then drag it down to the timeline, will select key products settings. And let's just play this. Let's say this is a nicely balanced and expose them colored clip. In case you want to apply special effect to this clip. You'll need to go down here to effect, and you need to click on that. So by default, you have many special effects which are included in total 27. And they are in various categories like Fritos or live utility and labs. Let's say we want to apply some filters to our video clip. Just open this. And there are many options available. Let's say we go to Superdome, there are two options available. And to apply this, we just click on it. And it gets added to the product. Fertile god applied. And let's play this. And there you can see the effect for yourself. So this effect will last for the duration of the effect on the timeline. Let's delete this in case you want to apply the effect to your entire clip, then drag and drop this onto the clip itself. And now a new plate. This is now available throughout your clip. And in case you want to delete the effect, just right-click, go down 100, delete effect, and that effect is now deleted. Now this is how you apply effects to your clips. There are many options available and I cannot go through all and explain to you, I will suggest that you explore this on your own. Let me just see a few of them. Let's go to material. Take this and we apply this. Let's now play this. See how that is not applied. Or let's now use this. And there it is. Let me delete this, both of them. And we'll apply this to the entire video clip. And let's play it. So friends, by now, you must have realized that by using the effects, you can create unique kind of video clips for your project. So it's good to know what is possible and how to do it. And that is what I have explained due. I will now invite do that. Please explore all these. You can even blurred background there. You can convert them into black and white. You can stylize your clips. You also have various options for Instagram, for all that you can do. No, I will not go through with all these. I will explain you the concept of explained you how to do this. Please explore yourself all the effects which are available within pleura 10. See how you can use it in your projects and go ahead and do that. So in this video, I explained to you how to use effect on your video clip and how to use the included effects. That's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 19. Blending: So French, in this video, I'll explain to you the concept of compositing and blending to video clip. Right now we have these cool videos here. Let's drag them onto the timeline. But I'll bring them down here. And on top of it, I'm going to place this video, as you will not do that now the video on the second layer, the layer below the file redo, as you can see, is not divisible. Or we can do something to create some kind of effect or a composite. These two really enjoying them and blend them together. So how can we do that? For that, let's click on Edit. And here we have this tab of composite that are two options here. One is blending mode. If we click on it just like Photoshop, there are many options are illiberal here. And then you have this opacity slider. Using both these, we can blend the media then also make some kind of a composite. So let's show that having the first layer selected, I go down here and I click on, let's say screen. So as you can see, it's cleared up quite a bit and we have the five-year, we can play it. So this is how we can compose it now to get a better idea as to what would be more than trusting, you need to go through the like, let's say Linear Dodge. So it's become a bit darker when we go to overly. Now here I like this because you're not picks up getting rich dark. And all these people who are here in the second video are being lit by the fire for me this. And play this again. And you can also use this opacity slider to make it lighter a bit. Maybe this would be better. And let's split. So this is what compositing and blending to reduce together. Try out various concept. Think about how you can make the best use of it. And I'm sure you would be able to create some special effect, any video clips. So in this video, I gave you a basic idea about the concept of compositing. I also explained you the blending mode and also to use the opacity slider. So that's it for this video. Get care and happy learning. 20. Masking: So friends in this video, I'm going to discuss with you how to use the masking effect in any kind of video making. Masking is a very important concept and we must learn about it because it permits you to isolate a section of that particular video. And you can see through below, you know, when you are making a video, you will be letting certain videos, any mediate on top of each other. So when you use masking, you can now see through and see what is lying below. Let me just explain this concept right now I have two video clips here. Let me drag this one and place it here. And let's keep the project settings. I'm going to right-click and add just the audio a bit. So bring it down to this level and click on. Okay, having done so, now I have another video which has got a talking head. Let me drag this on the layered on top. And as you can see the moment I have done this now, I cannot see the content of the video on the layer below it. Let me just delete a portion of this which is not required. The use of masking. In the use of masking. I had my delete a portion of this. So for that, click, select this and deleted, and drag this to the beginning. Now we have a video on top which is a talking head sort of a video. I say like we do. But what I want that when this talking head is narrating, I should be able to see the content below. So for that, we can use masking. Now, how do we use masking? Go down here to Effects. And you have many kinds of effects. Select this utility here. And within utility you have this you made mask, grab hold of with the left mouse, drag it onto your talking head video or the video with you tend to mask and leave it. Now you will notice that by default your video has got now mask. And we can see now a portion of the video which is on the layer below. Now we can make certain adjustments. How do we do that? We need to right-click, double-click on this. We need to go down to video editing. Scroll down. And here we have video effects and preset masks. So you can change any of the mask. Let's say that instead of this, you want to start sort of a mask to double-click and that mass changes. There are many mode options available, like you can have this shape or you could have this ship. Now the choice is yours. We will stick to the default that you the circle. So here is a circle, click on it. Now we have certain sliders below here, which will help us to position our mask. So let's say we want just the head. We do this here. And then we can shift this and put it in the center. So you can change the x and y-axis. Then you can also change the width. So let's reduce the width, and I'm doing here now. And you can also increase or decrease the height. I think this is fine. Then by selecting this, we can reduce the side of the mask video and place it wherever we want to in our project. Let's say we pass it here. Now, you know, you must have realized how useful it is. We have a video below which we want to talk about or you want to show while we are narrating something, I have got this mask talking head here. And let's just plate I, like which I've created spleen masking. And if a mod N 70 host of isolating a particular area within Rio and thereby Bosco doing any kind of shape. So you have a talking head, which is sort of going at his course, or an aeration. And you have some element in the background which is visible above us as a very nice or even expanding area when you are making. Our video. Also works wonders in a running wheel, right, friends, So says what masking can help you do, as I explained in this video. So I would recommend that you try out various ideas using this kind of effect, which is available within Fillmore at 10. And let me tell you it's a very useful effect and I use it very frequently when I'm creating my video. You can use this to create intro videos, outro videos, any kind of narration which you want to make, you know, travel videos and you're learning video, Sky's the Limit. Your imagination is the limit, whatever you can imagine you can do. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 21. Editing green screen footage: So friends in this video, I'm going to explain to you the green screen effect. When you require to film yourself. And you want to have the flexibility of having a different kind of background where anyone a rating, any kind of story or whatever, the green screen effect will come to your help. How do we do that? You'll need to film yourself using a green background and fill things which you need to keep in mind while filming yourself when you're using green screen is that the lighting should be even so that the color same all over. There should be no shadow. And you should not be reading anything green at all. That has to be kept in mind. Now, in this example, I have taken our sample, well, a bit of difference in the color of green is there basically to demonstrate that even if this kind of issue happens, you can take care of it. Infile Mora 10 while adjusting the effect. Now let me expand this. I have two clips here. One is my own head shot with an addition, which is filmed with a green screen at the background. And then I have another video which will the background, which I had taken outdoors. So as you will notice that I've placed the green screen effect on top and below that I have this video, which I want to have it as my background. So now all that is required to do is with this green screen video selected, we need to go down to this icon here, which says green screen and click on it. Now based on the settings which are there on the sliders, you will find that already it has brought in some effect through which you can see the layer below and therefore the redo below which will act as your background. But I want to have this quite clear. So we have got options like offset, tolerance, edge, thickness, edge further, we can also select Color which needs to be removed. There are various colors depending on whatever your background for green-screen, you can prove it. Normally do that advisable to have the green screen itself. You can also do the color by using this eyedropper. Click on it. And now we have the option of picking up the color. Try and pick up a color which is somewhere in-between the darkest and lightest of that shed. So let me hurry. If I choose this color, it hasn't really worked out well. So let me select this and let me see if this will work out. Not really. Let's choose a dark shade. No, it's not working out. Let's take this shit. Actually, I will have to adjust because I take my initial filming on the green screen has not been very good and I've done it on purpose. So for that, we need to improve the offset. So if we grab this and it'll be moved towards the live show you how the color is changing now we also need to tinker with the tolerance. Move the slider, get the best result possible. Let's big goods to a 100 percent. Now it's looking a bit better. And then we can also play around with L thickness. In fact, the way I do it is I take it as much as possible and then I start reducing it to get the right kind of thickness, which I would like to have in my video. I think this would be fine. And then you can also further, I were the areas this is a bit too much. Go left. I think this should be good enough. So I think I'll generally got a decent looking green screen effect in my video. Select this and reduce the size of this a bit. And you're going to clear this in a corner. We can impede the size of bit more. Let's now go to the beginning and plate. So friends. In this video, I want to just expand on what green-screen a lot of art as you're gonna see myself with using a green screen background or doubling that I can now isolate myself. That meant I can name the background. I know back at all. Yeah, does such. I'm in a nice way of talking head video. According delta1 effect in the bag along. So let's see how this can be done. So friends, as I explained to you in this video, green screen effect you the nice way of isolating yourself, making your background transparent. Moreover, filmed on a green background, and then being able to see through and see the image or a video which is placed on the layer below. Try your hand at it and take heat of the solution which are given. That's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 22. In this clip, I want to integrate a voice over so that my audience know what this clip is all about. How did I take it, what camera did I use and the light. I'll go with the default. And then input audio. There is only one option here. You can move the project, but I leave it checked and then you have this record button. So it's a very simple interface. We just click on it and the recording will stop. So let's click on this. So now that recording has started, let me start saying something about this guy, this query which you see here, I used to come every day in my daughter's garden in Atlanta and I have to love watching it. That was the only past-time I had. During the day time. I used to photograph, radiograph the squirrel using Sony DST art extent. And you can see how effective that camera was with the zoom range of 24 to 600 MM. That did a wonderful job for me. And it's destablization helped me to keep the 14th quite steady. So it's a lovely video we take captured and now integrated some validation within this. Once you're finished, click on, Okay. So you'll notice that where your play head was, the recording has started from there and ended where you stopped it. And we have now a voice-over integrated in our video so we can now play and see what somehow that accordingly I started, let me start saying something about this guy in this query which you see here used to come every day. The recording has come out quite well and it meets the requirement for retiree recorded it. In this video, I explained to you how to record a voiceover and actually the ID must hold your lives. But there are certain issues like some music and integrated with I want to be deemed out when the voice over is on. If you click on this, you'll get this small panel. Now as you can see, the full placeholder or content holder is not filled with the image. So we can just increase the size to fill it up. And we can also adjust the way we want to. Now you can drag it because we want to see the face of this bird. Let's say we want this here. Then we need to zoom in a bit more. And that should be okay and then drag it down. No. So that's fine here. Once you've done it. Now you can also drag it directly to the place holder. So let's say I want to add decimate. So to that, and it's very important to understand how to animate text and Fillmore are 10 or any other kind of graphic software which have the facility of animating texts. So first of all, let's first create a background for that. I'm going to go down here to sample colors. Click on that, and I'm going to pick up this gradient tool and drag it. Or you went, you can click on the plus sign. And this gets added to your timeline. Let us extend the duration of this to say about 30 seconds. So we now have our background on this. I want to put some text. So let's go to titles and from her and already titles and selected, let's insert this first default title. And there it is. Let's place it somewhere here. Now we have some texts by default. Let's select that and let's double-click it. The moment you do that, you get this panel using which you can edit your text. There are various presets available. You can change the text and you want to lecture. I want to have this text. Click on it and let us reduce the size a bit non-literate. Let this, I'll be additive. And we can call this now whatever you want to. So I'll type in animation and I'm going to increase the side of it. So just grab this and drag it out. You'll see the form side is not changing. So for that we need to select this. And here we are going to make the font size to let's say about a 125, the additive. And let's just move it in the center. Now we are going to animate this. How do we do that? So if you see you have presets and then you have animation, click on animation. And you get a large number of presets using which you can animate your text. There are many options and what I recommend to you that you go through these and they will be very useful to you later on when you're creating your own videos. So let's say we want to apply this. All that we need to do is double-click and the animation gets applied. Similarly, we want to use a typewriter effect. Double-click on this, and the animation gets applied. Let's play this animation from beginning. And that there are so many effect that it will be difficult for me to demonstrate all of them, but let's at least learn about fuel. So let's click on this. And there we have another effect coming up. Let's try this. Let's try another one. So friends, I have demonstrated to you how we can animate text within Fillmore are 10. And this will be very handy when you are creating your own intro videos or outro videos, or even explainer videos. Circular much that you learn how to animate text. And I have just given you a simple example. Now kindly explore on your own and see how best you can use tech to animations within your reduce. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 26. Animating images: Hi friends. So in this video we are going to learn how to animate images. When you are creating any kind of video. At times you may like to animate the radius to get some kind of special effect. Or you went when you are creating a slideshow using images, then you may like to have some kind of motion in your images will make it more attractive. So let's see how we can do that. I have a image, let's pull it onto the timeline. And there it is, with this selected. Go down here to this icon. This is the edit icon. Click on it. And you have three times your image, gallery and animations. Click on animation. Within animation, you again have to douse presets and customize. We'll talk about both of these in this video. So let's go to prison in film laura, 10, you get a large number of presets. Here on top. Are there new presets which are available in Fillmore attack? So let's say we want to apply this animation to. They made. All that you need to do is double-click. And there it is. Let's play it. Let's try another one. And if you want to reset the animation, we just need to go down here to reset and click on reset, and that gets reset. Then in the legacy, there are large amount of preset motions are available in legacy section. Let's say you want to rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise, or you want to fade slide. Let's click on this. Let's see what this means. Let's try this one. So you need to try out these on your irradiated and see which one meets the requirement of your product. Try one more, another one. Now once you are happy with what you apply it, you can just click Okay, and that will serve the purpose. So that is how you apply a preset animations to your images. You also have option to use custom animations before that, let's reset this and then click on this customized app. So here you can place keyframe. So let's say we base our grief him in the beginning. What that means now that at beginning the image will be where it is. Then move your playhead and add another keyframe. Now here we can add an image overlay. We can rotate the image. Let's say we rotate it a bit. We got scale it. We can change the x and y positions. Let's do that. We can also reduce the opacity for which I shall discuss a bit later. And now, let's play this. Now let's create another keyframe. And less research on this year. Unless now plan from the beginning. I'm sure you got the idea as to how you can use the presets and also customize your animations. To get the right kind of animation you need to work hard, you need to practice, you need to keep on trying out various presets, combine them with custom animations and he will get the right result. I can't do all situations for you here. I'll explain you the concept and kindly varying the concept in mind. Do practice and you add the right animation which you require for your product. So friends in this video, I explained to you how to use animations and, and emit images in your project. That's it for this video, take and happy learning. 27. Keyframe animations: So French In this video, we are going to learn about keyframe animations. Or keyframing is a nice way of creating custom animations and transitions to be animating texts for any kind of intro or sending a message out. It's a very nice way of customizing your animations. And not depending on the presets which are available within Fillmore are 10. Let me just demonstrate what we're going to learn. Let me play this clip. So as you must have noticed, we have transition from one image to the other in a very seamless manner. This I created on my own using keyframes. And then we have this text effect, that tax, which is a zoomed in front of you. Again, this animation and a custom animation created using keyframes. Now, this is what we are going to learn. How to create, not just one or example. Once you learn the basic concept and the idea of using keyframing sky document, you can create any kind of custom animation. So let's do this from the beginning. Let me just go down here and go to New Project. 16 is 2, 9 and click here. And just keep on saying, No, no, we need to bring into clip. Click. I'm going to be using this clip and scroll down. And I'll use this clip, click on Open, click anywhere to do select them. Drag them down to the timeline. Drag a toilet or say about 15 seconds. And let's bring this group also down here and save it to match the side of the first clip. We have these two clips. Now, when we play this clip on the top layer is going to be visible. Let's say after playing for about 15 seconds, we want that the first clip fade out and the next clip should be visible. So we can put a seamless transition using keyframe. For that, we need to click here on this icon keyframing. And you get an interface like this. And you'll notice that on this clip, a small dot has got added that the first keyframe. So that is going to be initial position. Now, let's move a bit ahead and let's put another keyframe. This is going to be your second position for a vertical transition. Now what we're going to do is let's reduce the opacity to now 0's. So that we can see the clip or the image which is below this track. Now let's just play this. That looks good. I hope you've got this idea. Now. I want a caption to zoom in. For that, we are going to place the playhead where we want the caption to appear. And we're going to add another keyframe. In fact, not, we're going to first add a caption for that. Click here on. Okay, Let's go down to titles. And from titles, let's pick up this first one. Click on this. Let's match the size to the end of the photos. Piercing the play head on the title. Let's now click on keyframe. And we get this again, and we have a keyframe here. And you can see, let's change the text. So like this, you can do this here also. And let's center alignment. Let's change the font to impact. And let's now move it on that axis here. And we can also scale it a bit. I think this would be Okey. Now we want this to be invisible. So let's double-click on this. And here we are going to scale it to 0. That's the initial position. And we're going to make the opacity to totally 0. Now the texture is not visible. We are going to drag this a bit ahead. And let's now add a keyframe here. And now we are just going to click on this area to bring it to a 100 percent. And opacity also do a 100 percent. There it is. Now let's play this. So here we are seeing through the next few minutes and then our texture zooming in. Now, I want this text to zoom in a bit faster for that, you can grab hold of the last keyframe and drag it and reduced the time span between the two keyframes. And let's get this again. So there it is. So using keyframes, we created a custom animation wherein we transition from one image to the other in a seamless manner. And we had more control in the timing and the way it faded out compared to what you'd available at Presets. Then we created a text which is zoomed in. Unless I get a nice way of showing off a caption and can be used in your intro or outros, or any kind of way in which you want to convey some message to your target audience. So friends, the sin, how you use the keyframe animation. And I am sure you about the idea, well, practice this. See what are the possibilities, dry and very odd in a matter of creating animations using keyframe. And I think you'll be good to go. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 28. Pan and Zoom: So French In this video we will learn how to animate animate using pan and zoom option available NFL Mora x. So here we have an image on the media panel. Let's drag it down to the timeline and the duration right now in about five seconds. So that's fine. That makes my requirement. Right-click on this image and you'll get this option of crop and zoom. Click on it. So now you'll get this panel where you have two tabs, crop and pan and zoom crop. I'll explain to you earlier. Let's work with pan and zoom. So click on pan and zoom. And now within this panel on the image, you'll find two options. One is the start. We can grab this and you can chain these top for the front of the image. Let's say we put it here. And then in the center you have another small box grabbing hold of the handle. You can change the size and you can also tune the position for lecture. We put it here and we make it a bit smaller and less now play this. So this is the kind of effect which you can achieve by using pan and zoom. Now my recommendation would be to do a minimal amount of movement using this and our data would be much more attractive to the eye. Let me demonstrate this. If I increase this and click on play. The movement now with subtle and the more appealing to the eyes. So this kind of pan and zoom effect can be very effective when you are creating a slideshow. And you can give some kind of movement to all your images coming in from various directions. And that would make your slideshow, instead of being static to being dynamic. We'll learn about how to use this pan and zoom to create slideshows later on. So friends in this video, I explained to you how you can use pan and zoom mattered to give motion to images. That's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 29. Motion tracking: So friends in this video, we are going to learn about motion tracking is quite a useful thing to be aware of how to attach motion tracking to a moving object. I'll be explaining to you the procedure and the method as to how you can do that. And thereafter it's entirely up to you how you want to use that in your movies. Or have a clip here. Let's pull it down to the timeline. Let's play it. So yeah, we have a cyclist, we're moving and to attach the motion tracking, you need to have your play head right at the beginning of the clip or at a point from where you want to motion track, the motion track, you need to go down to this icon here and click on it. For the final box that appears. You take this target point to the point where you want to attack the motion and make this covered it. Having done this, now, we can click around Scott tracking. And there you can see that objective B now tracked by the square root which we placed. Now let's just click here on Okay, and go down here to items. Let's click on the default title. We need to add to our timeline. So there it is. And let's extend this now to cover the entire span of the clip. And it's also change the text here. Let's just type in cyclist. And let's resize this and position it where you want it to be. So I want to place it here. That's fine. You can position it anywhere you want to. This is just one choice which I made. I heard that. Let's click on Okay. And let's select this motion tracking her. Double-click on it. Now, here it says none. Now you have few options. You can track an object which you are placed on your screen, or you can import from computer, or you can add a mosaic. Now since we are product title, let's click on Default title. Let's click on OK. The procedure is done. Let's play this and see whether we are succeeded. And there it is, You can see that the cyclist is moving and along with him, this title is also moving. This kind of method can be very useful in your videos. Then you want to sort of display the name of an untilted moving or do you want to show a ball which is moving along with the hand? For a whole lot of things you can think and do. For this. Let's say you have a resting track, whether a couple of cars racing and you want to pinpoint or Nim one card, you can do that which can be traced. Let's get it once again. Right, friends. So in this video, I explained to you how to use motion tracking and your videos. It's quite simple. You just need to understand the procedure and you'll be good to go. So that's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 30. Video in Text: So friends in this video, we are going to learn how to put video in a text. It's quite an interesting effect which you can create infill Mura 10. Let's now see how we can do that. So first of all, we need to create an animated text, black background. For that. Let's go down to title. Let's click on this, add this to the timeline. And now double-click. And let's type in Bangkok. And we want to change the font of this. So syllabus from here, we can and impacts to the fontanel change. We want to scale this and make it a bit bigger. So let's increase this from your scale. I think that should be okay. And I want to apply an animation to this text for that, we'll go down to animations, rural text back. And we pick up the animation from here. For the text animation and the superannuation which I want, and double-click on it. So you've got applied. Let's play this. Now. Let's export this as a video. So click on Okay, and then click on Export. And let's name it Bangkok. And exported. Let's delete this on the timeline. Let's go to the media panel. Import that clip which we exported now, and let it bring it to the timeline. And let's now important. And I clip which will act as the background. Let it be this one and click on Open, drag it onto the timeline. Let's put this perimeter. So now nothing is happening, but the magic will happen when you haven't selected this. Click on Edit and go down into two components. Go to Blending Modes and click on multipliers. So now we can see the video clip, which is below, and let's play it. So this kind of an effect, Let's play it again. Can be quite useful to create an intro video or any kind of emphasis which you want to go within your video. So friends in this video, I explained to you how you can put a video inside text and add your supervisors. Quite simple to do so go ahead and see how best you can use this particular method in your own projects. That's it for this video. Take care and happy learning. 31. Creating advertisements: So friends in this video, we are going to learn the concept and procedures of creating a video advertisement. Now before I get onto explaining to you how to create such kind of duties when step-by-step, let me just demonstrate what we are going to be creating. So let's play this. So this is what we are going to be learning to create, wherein we are going to be changing the dimensions of our product to be one or 21, which is normally used in social media like Facebook and Instagram. Then we will learn how to insert a video. We will learn how to animate the introduction part of it. And then we will learn how to add text and animated. And we will also learn how to integrate music to make it more interesting. Let's get going. So for that, let's go here and go to New Project. And we're going to select this one is to one Instagram, because that is the side which normally use in social media like Facebook. If you want to post something or even Instagram posts, selects. Click on this and we will not save this product. Click here. And we're going to add the widow, which requires I have the clip already done. So I'm going to select that and click on open. Now, drag this clip on the timeline. And we're going to keep the product settings but is 1, 0, 0, and 2, 1, 0, 8, and 25 frames per second. Click on this. Having done this, what I want to do it, including animated intro by playing a video within text. For that, I'm going to go down to titles. And I'm going to click here on titles and this first one here, the very useful one, we're going to just add to product. And there it is, got added. Select this text and double-click on it. We get this panel here. And let's just type in merged in capital letters. And I want to change the font to impact. And using the spiteful controller, we are going to scale this pollex, make it as big as possible. And I'm going to move this so that it includes the face of this bird. That should be fine, or maybe a bit to the left. Now, I need to include a black background behind this text. For that, I'm going to go down to firstly click on Okay, then go to media. And we have some sampled colors. Click on this. Let's take the black background. Will shift it here. This up, bring it down and put it here. And as you can see, we have a black background. We are going to stretch this out to cover the complete canvas. Now, having done so, let's clear this. And now let's take a snapshot of this screen. So for that, we go down here to snapshot and click on it. On the snapshot is now available in the media. Ben haven't taken the snapshot, delete these. And now drag this snapshot onto the timeline and stretch it out. Something like this. And we're going to click here on Edit. Go to compositing, and go to Blending Mode. And we're going to select, Multiply. Click on. Okay, now let's play this. So now we have the video playing inside the text. As you can see. We are going to do a few more things. And for that, we are going to split this, let's say at this point, maybe here. And now selecting the second half of this clip, we're going to right-click, go down to crop and zoom. Select this pan and zoom. And we're going to zoom in a bit more like this to make it look interesting. And that's the aim. We're going to click on. Okay. So now let's play this from the beginning. I wonder zoom to be a bit faster. So we're going to truncate this clip here, grab it by the end. When you'll get this kind of a cursor and make it a bit shorter. Let's clear this again. Okay, that looks good to me. Now, I'm going to add a title here. And at this point, well, we are merging with the video and animation ends. So we are again going to go to titles and we're going to grab this. Click on it, place your play head there and there we have this title, select this and move it on top. Let's double-click. And we're going to type and photography workshops. And we're going to select this here and align center. I'm also going to reduce the line spacing for that. We have the option here, go down to this place and do the line spacing, like so. And I'm going to change the font to impact enter. And there it is. I want to join this here. And I want to give a transition. So for that, we need to click on, Okay, click on transition. And the transition with I want to apply is going to be from warp. And let's try this warp zoom six. Let me press it here. And let me play this clip again. Okay, so that looks okay to me. One last bit which I want to do a very short. They go to look for the photography workshop and I'm going to place a link here for that. We are going to place this year. And we are going to again go to titles solidus and add to the product, the editor. And let's place our played here. Click on this, bring it down. Let's now double-click on this. In fact, remove the caps, lock. The letters. I want to reduce the size a bit so I want to scale it down. And then I'd just be spinning and center it. And let's around the central, the beginning of this text. For that we will click on Okay, and go to transitions, go to Basic. And we're going to do it all and drag it and apply it to the wiggling, make it a bit smaller. Let's play this again. Okay, that looks good. So let's play the whole thing from big link. Now. The texture is not visible, so we need to stretch this out and grab this like this and stretch it out. Similarly, the bottom text. And let's now play it from here. So this looks pretty good to me. I'll play this out once more from the beginning to show you what we created. Now one last thing I want to do. I don't like this jumping video for this kind of advertisement. So we're going to select this. We're going to right-click. We're going to go here to detach audio. Click on the audio, got detached, delete this audio. And we're going to add an a clipboard to audio. And I have this accordion sound. I want to drag this on their timeline and had this, let me play this. Hello, I need to cut this out to the side of my clip. So we're going to go here, click on this, delete the right portion. Now, we also see at the beginning, it is starting out in our freighted manner, but towards the end, abruptly stopping. So for that, we are going to select Audio or right-click and go to adjust audio. And from how we are going to fill this out, see how it is fading out. And now let's clear this. Now on pupillary, I'm going to clear this out the full thing once again for you. Like run. So that's it. As far as creating an advertisement we do is concern, kind of a process which I explained to you can also be used to create any kind of video post which you want to create for your Facebook or for Instagram. The concept will stay the same. This is not the end-all and be-all. There are many variations which you can create using this kind of a concept, different color of text, different way of animating those different way of transitions. So whole lot of possibilities are there. Lu, experiment and try and see how best you are going to apply what you have learned and that video to create your own masterpieces. That's it for this video, take care and happy learning.
