1. Introduction: Hello, my name is mean arch, a monopolist and the street map to draw and paint law was. I welcome you all to my class. These are QC little flag was, they come in different colors. And Pat Jones, today's lab is all about this cute flowers. I have designed this class for beginners, so you'll be learning from start to finish. I will be teaching you what brands do you use and how to build the Flow bots and basic shapes. And we will go one step further to learn how to draw food it returns. We will also take a look on three types of shading methods, hatching, crosshatching, and stippling. Finally, I teach you to draw a benzene both effective. So a few things clauses for you really need in the next lesson. Bye bye. 2. Requirements: Let us first take a look on the requirements for the class. To start with, you need few drawing bands of different sizes. I'm using Sakura Pigma Micron. You can use any good brand of drawing bins. Then you'll need a pencil and an eraser to draw a rough sketch. They need also need to drawing paper or sketchbook. Minuss of 101 VG is m. Make sure your paper is thick enough. The wording, this is what I generally use for my drawing projects. Last but not the least, you need a good reference for to stock when I have my best viewed events more dose below the video. You can also check out the internet. There are so many good photos of families. So that's only about two requirements. Grab your supplies and let's get started. 3. Pansy-basic drawing: In this lesson, we will take a look on how to draw a pansy from basic shapes. I start by drawing a circle. Use a drawing pencil to draw the outline. The size of the circle is based on the size of the flower you want. Now draw tiny circle on the center. If you observe the center body can find jawbone chiefs opposite each other. So I'm drawing two bean shapes on the center circle. Now coming to the pentose pansies are five petaled flowers. Mark the position of the pedals by placing smaller dots on the outer circle. Start off by drawing the dog pedal. Make a letter U. So it's going to be narrow on one end and dadadada. Then I move on to the side petals. These do I need the first one? So the other part of the pedal is not going to be visible. You were just doing lead to you on different angles. Finally, finish off by drawing the other two petals which are behind. Start by drawing a slanting line and ago went off to make a better. The final one which is behind or the ADOS, just a go. So drawing these petals is definitely not a difficult task. Start by drawing a slanting line and then a glow on top. Then again a slanting line to finish off, which makes a beautiful Braden. Then draw two parallel lines for the stem. Then do a rough shape for the leaves. Do bads of leafy structures on sides and one big one on DOP. So that saw me draw a benzene from basic shapes. 4. Folded petals: In this lesson, we will go step forward and learn how to draw folded petals. If you take a close look on this reference, you can find a small hole near the center. Let us try to bring this all up EPA to make you understand at first start by drawing a bit and sheep. Now go over the dotted lines. Draws landing line or the area where you want the button to be folded. Know this dog section will come down. Fondly, the dog go will come down. So the basic idea is to draw a better with a dead then dips a little in words than it would if it was flat. One more time a draw a dog that bit. Then I go through the dotted lines to draw the folded Bechdel. Writing wonderful that area. I draw a sliding line. And for that goal will come down. That's all. Now I'm drawing a bit old facing downwards where I want the folded part and draw a slanting line and that curve inwards. Try this in different angles and different positions until you are comfortable. Now let us implement the things that we practiced in this class by drawing a pansy. Start by drawing a circular shape. Then I do the small circle for the center part. As I said in the previous lesson, door to being shapes in the center. We will do the folded partly, draw the basic outline of the petals, then draw two parallel lines for the stem. After that, make the leaves. If you take a close look on the reference, you can find the folded sections of the petals. Let us try to bring this effect on our drawing. I do this by making a small gov in words. Similarly on the other part, I'm just making a small girl. Isn't it? That simple novel not have been this using my Pigma Micron. Having done the outline, just go over the drawing to do the paperwork. You can give some ups and downs on the pedal for an organic look. This step is the most relaxing and meditate to one. Because you don't have to think, you just have to go without line, enjoy the process of drawing. And likewise spent out of love old. So just go with outline this savy draw up values. In the next lesson, we will take a look on the different shading methods, but by Sandec. 5. Shading Methods : There are different ways to shade a fancy. In this lesson, I will take you through the shading techniques one by one. The first one is the most used and the easiest technique of fall. And it is called hatching. Hatching is nothing but 2 using Palo lines to create depth in your drawing. These lines can be of a more angles. It can be either slanting most trade or whatever like this. These are just parallel lines. To create more depth. Draw the lines move closer to each other. So these closer lines indicate shadows. The idea is very simple. The lines are closely packed on the shadow areas and loosely back over the highlights. So that's all about touching. Moving on to the next technique, cross hatching, crosshatching as an extension of the previous techniques. In this method, we add a second set of lines that sit on top of the force. Usually these lines are perpendicular to the first set. However, it can be of any angle. If you want to give more depth, they can add a third set of lines is the dog, dog of the first 21. More way to create depth using crosshatching is by adjusting the space between the lines. Randomly. You want shadows, add more lines. Now if I do another set of perpendicular lines to create shadows. So that's our cross hatching works by using perpendicular lines. Let us move on to the next shading technique and this one is called is deadly. This technique involves the idea with dots or dining space. I keep my pen at an angle of 90 degrees and I just read dots all over. Siblings, the most time-consuming metadata foil. However, the reasserted games are truly amazing. In stippling agreed darker values by placing dots very close to each other. As you can see, at least in between dots to create a darker shade. If you wanted to be even more darker, then you can please even more closer dots. So it is totally up to you. Instead of using dots, you can also try using times x. It is totally up to the design. To be proud if degree about three minutes to complete a small area. So stippling is definitely a long process, no doubt in that. So that's all about the shading techniques. Hope this lesson was implemented in the next lesson, I'll teach you to implement that. In the next lesson, I'll teach you to implement these techniques or the flavor buh-bye. 6. Hatching : In this lesson, we will see the pansies using hatching method. For this, I use my drawing pen incisal do. If you observe the reference, you can see a dark patch or double of the first three bundles. I'm trying to do this on my BBA. Taking one petal at a time, drawn lines outwards starting in the center. Make sure these lines travel along the pedals, natural sheep. So I'm making the center of the dome, just like it is in the reference. Do the same with the other two side petals. Draw a line starting from the center outwards. If you find it difficult to draw these lines, you can always still in your sketch book and make yourself comfortable. Likewise, dark in that debate. Starting from the center, move outwards. Just a few lines would be sufficient. Now moving on to the details or uses moles spindle have all five will Figma feed Macron. If you observe the difference in find some lines on the petals which makes the realistic. Now I'm trying to bring those details too annoying. What I'm doing is I'm just drawing some lines from the center and from the DOP. These lines can be of any length, some unbroken and some are long. Again, these lines that along the direction of the veterans, the BOD which is behind the frostbite dilute have shadows in such cases I add more lines. And also the center. These lines indicate the foods on the Vandals. One roof pointy God, remember while doing this that you may not draw straight lines. Keep your hand, lose, and go with the flow. Rather than dropping this exactly on your paper, you can try your own version of adding debt. Don't push yourself, just go with the flow. Just keep drawing these broken lines on all the petals. Draw these lines of various sizes to create some variation. When it comes to shading that I notice just go with the flow, but make sure you don't overdo it. Now that the shape is damn. I'm drawing tiny sloppy lines parallel to each other. I do this one on one side of the stem to indicate the shadows. I'm assuming the sunlight is coming from this side. In such cases the shadows will be on either buy. This is the reason why we should observe the reference before shaving. Finally, do the veins of the leaves. This is how we shade a flower using hatching method. So in this, so that's how we shade a flavorings in hatching. Here is another example using the same thing negotiated this flower. Here is a time-lapse of the glosses just for your reference. Take a look so you get an idea how the statement to you. As I said, the full hatches the most used and most easiest tech mobile. First, a dark in the center part of the top three petals. Then uses more or less band shade and do create the phones. Create more lines on pods which are behind to negate the shadows. These lines are broken and the ADL 3D sizes, and they come along the direction of the petals. Draw lines along one side of the stem. They gave the shadows. Didn't draw veins on the leaves. That's all I need to in the next lesson. Bye bye. 7. Cross Hatching: In this lesson, I will teach you to shade a pansy using crosshatching method. You can find a dark patch near the center. I tried to bring this on my drawing. I'm for this, I use my Pigma Micron of size 0, 0, 5. Draw a few short lines starting from the center. The designs are totally based on the reference. In my friend's does a dark patch near the center. So I do this. You can choose your own reference and based on that, you can go through your design in the next, typically lines to define the moment and the fools on the pedal. These are just broken lines of different sizes. So drawing lines to define the death discord is hatching, which we already discussed in the previous lesson. Using the same method shade or the pedals. If you observe that a forensic and see the petals which are beneath will have a lot of shadows then the petals which are on top. Keeping this in mind, I draw more lines on the petals which are beneath. I'm drawing lines of the frontline for radiation. This will give you drawing a natural look. Cross hatching is an extension to the previous technique called hatching. After drawing full set of lines, I continue with another set which intersects the first one. So lava draw a bunch of lines which intersects the previous one. Applied to notice that you have to do this one day on areas where you need a lot of shadows. So I use this method when Leon petals which are beneath. This will give a lot of depth to your drawing. For most of my floral illustration projects like go for this hatching and crosshatching methods because they are very simple. They are fast. When you take the other shading methods like stippling and all the added as a little bit time-consuming. But this one, it is very simple and it's also very fast. So if you are a beginner, I would always suggest you to choose this hatching and crosshatching methods. First. I shade the stem by drawing diagonal lines on one side of it, but I mean shadows. Finally complete this by drawing the veins on the stem. In the next lesson, I will teach you to shave abandon using stippling method. Buh-bye. 8. Stippling: We will now try shading the benzene using doubling method. For drawing few veins on the petals. Dry need regular line and down to meet means. You can also branch it out again to make smaller ones. Likewise, draw the veins on all the petals. After you are done with the veins, LET is more to shame them using stippling method. For this, I use my O2 bend of Pigma Micron. This technique involves filling in an area with nothing but dogs are tiny specks, dries, basing your dots evenly then experiment with overlapping more dots to add depth. We do this variable, we need shadows. So the point is placing the dots are very close in proximity will create a much darker value while separating the dots will show a much lighter area. So right away you need shadows. You have to add a lot of dots and right away you need highlights, add less dots. As I have already explained in the previous lesson that they don't switch ever need. We'll have a lot of shadows than the petals which are on top. This part of the petal is behind another one. So I create a lot of dots do it the grid shadows. The more dots you add to a particular section, the more depth you will see. And as we move into a shadow before your eyes. This is a great technique for drawing the sandals or flowers or clouds. But when you choose to blend method to shade the largest section, it is definitely going to be a time-consuming process. So I would suggest due to choose this method if you're shading areas, small evidence again, go for hatching and crosshatching. As you practice, don't be confined to hatching, crosshatching and stippling methods alone. These are just examples, but it can really get creative and come up with their own mark-making techniques. Auf die complete the pedals. I don't want to shade this damn. Assuming the light is coming from this data sheet on the part of the state. As I said before, you have to add a lot of dots to the shadow box. So I'm adding a lot of dots to the right side of the stem. Finally, finish off by drawing the veins on the leaves. So that's all about the shading methods. You can choose any one of these three, or you can always try all the three. It will definitely help you for your future projects. 9. Perspective Drawing: In this lesson, you will see how to draw a benzene, a different perspective. You can either use your own for Doric and make use of the photo which you can find below the video. I just dab by drawing an outline. If you observe the photo, you can see the flowers, no witchy. So I make an olive with the flagella. Then for the stem I do parallel line to this mode, may know the dog. Finally, with the center, I'm making a small oval. Then I may do when shapes inside it. After that and mark the position vectors. These markings will make the drawing process much easier. Now observing the references data, draw the petals one-by-one. Always start with a dog bed. I'm starting with this one which is widened. Starting from the center, I'm making a rough, better sheep. Now I make the two side petals. Always start with the larger vector, one, which occupies a large avian all over the smaller ones. Dana make the top one is dark with a small curve on the center, and finish off with a nice pedal shape. Finally, I do the fifth vector. I is likely extended outside for the variation. Now I'm going to pings drawing is my Sakura Pigma Micron of size 0, 1. Having already done the basic drawing is my pencil and just go with it using my band. Give some ups and downs on the bed does for an Agile and inorganic look. Complete drawing the entire flower. So when it comes to drawing flowers in perspective, what matters the most is the observation. After you observe the flower, draw basic shape to help you draw the entire flower, it may be a circle or an oval or whatever it is. They mark the pedal positions on the outline. After that, draw the petals one-by-one starting with the victim, which occupies a larger idea, like what we did now. Finally finish off the drawing by making the stem that is dry and other bands in a different position. You can find that extends below the video. As I said before, start by observing that as friends, draw the basic outline, in my case, it's going to be as light or with cheap. So I'm drawing normal using my drawing pencil. And I draw two parallel lines for the Stam. Mark the center. And then making two bean-shaped or the center position the petals of the frenzy or loud line which we have drawn before. The most important step, because it makes a drawing for this much easier. So I'm positioning or the five batters observing the veterans. Now draw the petals. Observing that effluence. Start with the three white petals, which you can see on top. Landing lines from the center and join them using a curve on top. And I'm drawing a small curve on the petal to represent the folded but complete the flavor by drawing the other two petals also. This one is behind all the other petals. And this one is also large. As I said before, it's all based on the observation. I joined this Dan and finish the drawing. Then do the penguin by going over the outline is in your drawing pen of size or one. Observing and drawing those views, laughing lines which you can see on the top petals. Starting from the center. I'm just giving a bushel girls to do these lines. Using a initiating middle of your choice. She the pansies. I'm using hatching and crosshatching to shade these flowers. It is updated and choose any more of your choice. I'm adding more debt donate areas by petals are overlapping. In such cases I use crosshatching method, drawing perpendicular lines to the ones which have already drawn before. Similarly a shade others love also for this one also choose hatching and crosshatching. Again, it's up to you again, choose your own method. I first tried to recreate those flat portions, which you can see on top of that fancy. Then I draw some broken lines to represent the force on the pedals. For the petal, which is behind a lot of flying to the shadows. So that's how we draw a fancy from start to finish. We will discuss about the class project in the next lesson. Bye. 10. Class Project : We have gone to the end of the class. I hope you enjoyed it and found this helpful. That is now discuss about the class project. For the class project search for a nice reference photo. You can either use your own for those or you can choose the pictures which you can find below the video. Then draw the pansies in the steps we discussed in the class. First dab without line and wanted the pen work. Finally, choose any one of the shielding method we discussed in the class, hatching, crosshatching and stippling, whatever you'd like. Also share your feedback. It would help you create better clauses in the future. Finally, Shi'a projects, I would love to see them. Feel free to contact me if you have any doubts in any part of the class. Thank you for taking my class. Buh-bye. Have a nice day.
