Project Description

aa4ae04d

This is what I used to finish the project:

  • Paper - a white paper tile by Zentangle Inc. - a 3.5 inches square paper tile. You can use any paper or cut your own paper tile - I'd recommend using a high quality paper (this one's Fabriano Tiepolo).
  • Graphite pencil for drawing corner dots, border and string and for shading.
  • Black Micron PN pen (you can also use other thin back pen like 0.1-0.3 size liners).
  • Blending stump for blending graphite pencil.

These are only the suggested supplies but please feel free to use whatever you have available. Don't let the lack of supplies stop you - these projects can look amazing with other supplies too!

You will also be able to download the attached handouts containing:

  • A step by step guide to drawing individual patterns / tangles
  • A reference sheet explaining the basics of Zentangle® method, including several links with more content and tips for regular drawing practice

Please note that you will have to log into Skillshare through the PC to access the downloadable materials.

Draw with me, enjoy the process and please let me know what you think of the lesson. :)

DELIVERABLE:

I'd be really grateful if you would upload a photo of your drawing to the Projects and Resources section (work in progress and/or finished project). Enjoy your work of art and share it with the world. Join the community discussion to share your experience in the Discussions section or if you have any comments or questions just let me know - I'm here to help.
