About This Class

Learn XPath for Selenium WebDriver with the power of examples

My name is Mihai Usurelu and I am a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer with more than 10 years experience in software testing, both manual and automated. Welcome to my class "Learn XPath for Selenium WebDriver with the power of examples".

dc7cc06c

This class is an introduction on using Selenium and xPath and we will focus our attention on:

  • What is xPath and the differences between Absolute and Relative Syntaxes
  • We will continue learning about the usage of Predicates and Wilcards in xPath
  • You will discover the complexity of dynamic xPath through the power of examples
  • You will deepen your knowledge about xPath axes with the use of practical examples
  • We will also discuss about building the test environment and configure Chrome Browser

For you to be able to follow along the class, as well as practice at your own pace, you have access to a testing website and, in your Student Area, you'll find all the practical examples that will follow in the next chapters. This course is most suitable for people which already had the chance to work with Selenium WebDriver and have the general knowledge about what Selenium is and how we can use this tool to automate Web Based Applications. Automation enthusiasts and beginners will also be able to gain insight into Selenium and xPath through the provided practical examples.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop a line in the comment area.
