About This Class

Do you love photography and travelling to new places?

Then this course is definitely for you. Immerse yourself into the little streets of Athens Greece, the old part of town below the Acropolis, the local flea market and even take the funicular to a nearby hill for the most spectacular scenes of the city, while learning to improve your photography and truly capture the moment.

In this course, we apply principles of Street and Landscape photography to enable you mastering different photography types. By learning the technical aspects and techniques of Street and Landscape photography, you will be embarking on a journey to experiment and discover the kind of photographer you can be!

The purpose of this course is to build your confidence so you can go out and start shooting, by teaching you the basics of the types of photography you encounter in your everyday life. We will help you to master techniques, so you don’t have to think about them, and instead focus on composition, your creativity and photograph what you want and not just what is out there.

And because learning photography is better if you do it with others, please participate in our course project so we can all learn together.

In this course you will learn:

  • The necessary technical skills and techniques needed for street and landscape photography, how to choose your Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO
  • How to prepare for street and landscape photography when you are on location and what equipment you need
  • The thinking process that will enable you to get into the scene and create more candid photography
  • How to stop thinking about how to set up your camera and start focusing on your photography
  • How to compose a great landscape shot

So whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, join me in this walk and let’s start learning together, I am very much looking forward to your comments, tips and experiences as well.

Excellent idea for photo lessons in a splendid environment. What best location than Athens Greece with a rich history going back 30 centuries!
Very interesting course! A lot of nice scenery in Athens.
I consider myself a beginner photographer and only for the past year I started using a mirrorless camera, although I still use my phone quite a lot. I managed to follow this course quite easily although as far as camera settings go, sometimes I had to look in my camera’s manual on how to set things up, however the information provided in the course was pretty clear on what camera mode I needed to use. What I particularly liked about this course was that 80% of it is shot in the streets of Athens or other outside locations and it's like a real walk. The video of the walk follows the class concepts quite closely, and there is also a lot of imagery and photographs of the instructor as he is taking them, so its a very engaging experience and before I knew it, I had gone through most of it. I liked the parts about the thinking process and how to get into a scene, and I feel that I will use all that next time I am on vacation, which is where I shoot most of my photos anyway.
