About This Class

Hello and welcome to my knitting class!

With this series of lessons, I hope to turn non-knitters into knitting enthusiasts who can create their own be-tasselled scarves :)

I cover the vital knitting basics including how to cast on, how to do the knit stitch, and how to bind off.

And of course I'll be here to answer any questions if you get stuck.

Scarf pattern I used:

(Cast on 20 stitches)

Row 1 (and all odd-numbered rows): Slip a stitch purlwise with the yarn in front, take yarn to the back of the needles, then knit to the end of the row

Row 2 (and all even-numbered rows): Slip a stitch purlwise with the yarn in back, then knit to the end of the row

Bind off.

 - Please note that if you are struggling with the slip stitches, you can replace them with knit stitches.
