1. Class Introduction: Hi, this is when Grace, I was with me, Assistant Professor and Head of Department, official communication. Those completed MSE in media graphics and animation. I am your instructor for this. I welcome you all for this course, learn foliage digital painting with Autodesk Sketchbook. Through this course, you are going to learn how to create a foliage digital painting works like grasses, shrubs, plants, and more. Within this course, you are going to learn how to create a sunset grass pill, how to create a green grassland, how to create the graphs which is nearby the water-filled. How to create a small green as well as pink ships. How to create the background for those ships? How to create a small plant, how to create a custom leaves, how to create custom brushes with Autodesk, sketchbook and more. Let us see in our classes. 2. Sunset Grass field: In this lesson, we are going to see how to create a grasp foliage with the help of Autodesk Sketchbook. We have many ways to create those grassland or the glass appearance. I'm going to show you one by one how to create the grassland. I'm going to show you are all possible ways to create a class with the help of Autodesk sketchbook. I'm going to use those possible pressures to create those foliage classes. So I'm going to show you, before going to start with this, I'm going to show you a PDF file. So this has all those brush details about this Autodesk Sketchbook. Here you can see, apart from this basic precious, we know how to use those things. And apart from basic pressures, we have all those details about the pressures. This page has all that external pressures, how it works. And here you can see this is a Methodist and pressure we can use to create a grassland. And we can use this particular brush also to add some detail on those grasses. We can use this pressure. So we can use this textual relationship brushes to create a glass-like appearance in this Autodesk sketchbook. And I'm going to the next one, the coffee pressures. So these are coffee versus if you want to create a small grass, like I can use this cluster two pressures. And I'm going to see the synthetic brushes here. You can see we have synthetic brushes here, a lot of leisure here, so I can use the third brush to create a glass-like appearance, the grassland. I can also use this brush if I want. And I have so many brushes here. You can see that. So I can use this brush to create a glass-like appearance, this one. So we have a lot of pressures are in this I naught. And that is also an excellent going to see our traditional publishers in traditional dishes. We have so many pressures. We can use this brush to create a grassland appearance. We can also use this brush has so many brushes to create know grassland lake appearance. I'm going to show you all possibilities how to create the grassland lake appearance. So here we have the class, small classic appearance. And we're going to use only a limited amount of this particular village because we are going to create our own brush, own classes. So I'm not going to use this frequently, widely. So we have all these brushes to create the grassland or the crash. So in this also, you can see we have a lot of pressures. So this is paste, as you can see this here. So we have a lot of pressures which may help to create know, glass-like appearance. So you can use this one, you know, to create a bunch of grasses. And we can use this one. You can use this one. Hello, huge amount of brushes to create no grass like appearance. So let us start with the very first tool I was told you. I'm going to use this tool. You know, we are going to use this tool, this a texture Russian shale brush. I'm going to show you how to create that. So here I choose texture residential. And here you can see how the preview here. So I'm going to start with the grass, which is far away from this place. So I'm going to create grass with light color value. So here I'm going to add, when I click ones, you can see how it looks. But I'm not going to click only ones. I'm going to reduce the brush size. So you can see it's a 70 size. I'm going to add here. I just press Shift key. When you press the Shift key, you know, you can keep your brush on a straight line, but what you need to do is before start to click your mouse, how to brush your Dickey? Suppose we have two plus shift again, then he had to stop click your mouse. Otherwise, you know, you can't get a state line brush work. So I just press Shift key and I'm going to press my mouse button. Now I move so I will get a straight line. Even if I have my mouse cursor here, you can see I just move, I had the state length. So just press cold my strip Tiki. And you can see how it looks. It looks really good. And after I created this, I'm going to increase the color value little bit. And I just increase the value of the digest value and to 80 from sound t. And here I was adding the details. You can see how it looks. And I'm going to queue and some more. Color value's going to increase the brush size and 200. This is how it looks. So when they come closer, I had to give it more space between those layers, which means those color variation. So now I come to this place. I increase the color value. So now I ink brushes into 125. I had to give more space. As I mentioned. Here you can see this really looks good. So I did not think I just added the brush. I just select a color. I increased it this way that I just click and drag, that's it. But you can see how good it is, the result is. And I'm going to add some dark values. So I'm going to give us a most phase. So this is how it looks. You can leave. In this case, we can go for automotive level. So I'm going to use this value, going to increase your brushes into one 75. And here I'm going to add so you can see how it looks. So we have created a fantastic grass appearance with the help of this Autodesk sketchbook. When you're creating this work if you want in a small details, you can also reduce the brush size. For example, here I want to reduce a purchase up to 80. And here I'm going to add some small grass details. So in this way also you can add grass like appearance, so the help of this artist's sketchbook. And every time we don't want to add the flat appearance, we can also add a small, small changes. You can see how it looks. We don't want to add No, I don't want to have the flat appearance. We have some irregular grassland like appearance. So in this way, you can create a grassland and the foliage with the help of this Autodesk Sketchbook. 3. Green Grassland: Now I'm going to create a sky background for my grassland. I'm going to use the green grassland. So I'm going to add a sky. You can see the blue is more darker. So I want to reduce the opacity. So I reduce the flow of this, the airbrush. And I choose Close. And I'm going to add that color here. You can see now we have less amount of blue. So I need this blue. I was adding know those blue color on the sky. I just want creator of background. I don't want a detailed background because I'm going to concentrate those grasses. So I'm not going to concentrate on the sky. So auto creating this. So I'm going to choose the class tool, going to use the same brush, but I'm going to use different color. So let us see how it works, how it looks. So I'm going to use green color, going to start with the light green. You can see that. And here I was adding that light green. I was using the value 89. Here you can see the values only 80. And as I mentioned, I was create some irregular shape instead of having a flat appearance. And now I'm going to add in a little more darker value for the green co-integration pressures into 90. And here I went to add a straight line. That's It can see how it looks. And I'm going to add more green values. So instead of having no Flatland, going to do some more structure. And finally, I'm going to add dark colors. Going to increase the brush size. So I was using 125. So you can see how it looks. This looks really good. If you want to create any animation or want to create any illustration, it's easy to use and easy to create this kind of grassland with the help of Autodesk Sketchbook. 4. Background of Grass near Water field: So after those two colors, shirts of grasses going to show you how to create other kind of crashes. So we have seen those brushes and we're going to use this one, the tail, this brush. We are going to create a background for that. The grassland photolyase, which show you. So this is the pressure that actual brush. I'm going to use dark or light color. So if you want to create and all the faraway class, you can use light colors are if we want to create a near bigger so you can use dark color. But if you want to show the light in front of the class, you can use a light colors in front and a dot class at the end. So that is how to use it. So first I'm going to use some dark colors because I'm going to show you the light over the grasses in front. So I'm going to choose dark color. So now I'm going to use my basic brushes to create a glass-like appearance. So you can see we have this pellet here. I'm going to use this paint brush. So the helper, this Bainbridge, I'm going to start this class creation. And I'm going to show you how to do First of us creating the background work. I was using this pen pressure and increase the opacity. So I keep this a 100. Now I'm going to create the foliage work. And let me have water at the bottom. So just imagine I'm going to add some blue color. And if it occurred, I'm going to develop that. So just imagine me how the water, right? And here I'm going to have that. So I'm going to use this tool. This is paint brush. So I choose the color first. You can see that I was choosing the color just dark green. And here I'm going to use it plus almost 80 percent black. You can see that. Just click and drag. That's it. And I was doing a thing else. So you can see I have the backbone for my class like appearance. And after creating this work, I'm going to add some more details here. So this time what I'm going to, I'm going to use my pencil tool. So with the help of this pencil tool, what we can do is you can create a line like this. So we may use to create a glass-like appearance. Now I'm going to use this. So to create this kind of grass like appearance, It's up to you based on your creativity, can create those directions. Since whenever started to use this pencil, it has sharp edges here. I'm going to use this tool. And you can use any tool according to your need. I'm just giving you ideas. There's join your creativity based on your brain. You can even create better grasses to compare me. Those creating these glass-like appearance. So I was using only mouse, you know, I don't need, you know, a graphic tablet or a special kind of devices to do this. So it's easy to create the Autodesk Sketchbook. So that's why I'm grading this, since I have the dark colors at the bottom, you know, it blends with the background. So I don't want to hide or do something else for the bottom of this particular glass-like appearance. So you can see how it looks. 5. Foreground Details of Grass near Water field: Next what I'm going to do is I'm going to add some grass with the different bit light color to combat this background. So I'm going to use the same brush, but I'm going to reduce the colors from dark to light. And you can see how it looks. This really looks good. If you can use three to four shots to create the grasses as though that's enough. I'm going to use it here. And I cover the bottom area. You can see, if you want, you can reduce the brush size. So I reduced the pressure is a little bit. And this is how it looks. So auto this. I'm going to add the same kind of details. So I'm using the same brush or pencil tool here. I'm going to use the same color. To add in all those details. As I mentioned, can create our own classes based on your creativity. A lot of brush tools here, a lot of different brush tools. So you can see that. So here what I'm going to do is I'm going to add maybe a small land like appearance. So I'm going to use the color according to that. Quite use a dark color first. Going to use this ink pen t2. Okay? And after this, I'm going to blend those colors in the background for that. I'm going to need those as much pressures. So I'm going to use this brush. This is a smudge brush, going to reduce the breast size, but I'm going to smash with this. So this is how we blend. And I'm going to use our brush tool, which is this one, round brush. This really works very well. To blend those colors. You can see how it looks here. So I'm going to use the same brush for the bottom area Crassus. Going to blend like this. We're going to add those shared for this land. Now. So I'm going to add color, variation the shared little more. So I'm going to smudge again. So I'm going to use the same structure. This will look. After adding those things. I'm going to add my glasses again. So I'm going to use the same Bainbridge, going to select the same color. What do you have used previously? And here I'm going to add in a little more bright value for the green. And I'm going to select this and create, you know, I have this kind of appearance. You can see that I'm going to reduce the brush size. And I was creating the appearance like this. So this time I'm going to reduce the opacity. I was reducing the opacity to 20 percent is 0. I'm going to create that. So you can see how it looks. And I'm going to use some other tools. So I'm going to use the artist salty water color. This looks really good. And I'm going to use the tool, go into additional breast size. I can see how it looks. I create fantastic the glass-like appearance. So I'm going to use this tool. Can see how good that particular look is. And if you want to add some dark values between these colors, you can use as we used previously. And I'm going to use the light color again over that. So we can create your glasses according to your need. And here I'm going to give some way colors to create better what we can see, Oh, I'm going to create that. This is how I want to create. So I'm going to use this much tool. Yes, this same smudge, the round Justin. This is how I'm going to create that. You can see. And we know this will create that water real small, wavelike appearance. This looks really nice. It create know that water will view appearance. So this is how it looks if you want to add more gas so we can add here also, I can blend these colors with my water. So in this way also you can create your own sketchbook. 6. Standalone Grass field: They have another way to create grasses in this Autodesk sketchbook, I'm going to show you how to do that. So first I'm choosing a green color for my class. So here we have a lot of brushes going to show you. So in this palette, you can see these are all pistols. So in pesos we have the 356. Those brushes are really good to create this kind of glass-like appearance. So the three, this is three and this is five. This is a grainy and this is seven. So this three brushes. You can see six actually start to seven. So 356, I'm going to show you how to do that. So first I'm going to use this fine grain and I'm going to choose the dark color. I just double-click that particular tool. Here you can see we have all those properties. These are all the basic properties. Can see how much amount as to blend with the background. I'm going to increase the value or the value you can see it shows the difference and it shows the flow and size. We have this dilution. I just want to know more value. So I just reduced the dilution. And after that I'm going to close. So here I'm going to apply the brush. You can see how it looks. It really looks good. When you are creating a complete grassland, you can use this brush can help you to create another complete grassland. We can see that how it looks. So the surface is really looks good. And I'm going to use the one, going to see how it looks. If you want to create a bunch of classes, we can use this tool. So I'm going to show you, see, I was creating a bunch of classes. And I'm going to change the color, select the light color. And you can see the difference here. Now I want to note too small, tight color, the little yellow. And this is how it looks. And this time I'm going to reduce. So in this way also it can create grasslands like appearance with the help of this. So I'm going to reduce class sizes. And if you want, I can add those grasses, you know, from this shape, I choose that particular tool and I'm going to add, so before adding the particular color or particular tool, going to choose that color first. Here I'm going to add. So you can see how it looks. This looks really good. And here also I'm going to add the same brush. I just select the colors from that particular place. I use eyedropper tool. And here I'm going to add. So if you select the color from the respect to place, then only that particular shape will be adopted to that particular location. So here I'm going to choose a color and a hero. So I'm going to add those pressures. You can see how it looks. Here. I choose the color. I'm going to add those pressures here also. So in this way also it can create wire grasses, foliage, Autodesk, Sketchbook. 7. Shadows of Green Shrub: In this lesson, we are going to see how to create a foliage shrubs with the help of Autodesk Sketchbook. So first I'm going to create a new document. I have created a new document and we have the canvas here. Here I'm going to create it. So I'm going to use my brushes. Can see, we have a lot of brushes in previous classes. We have seen what are the precious we go. Here I'm going to use one particular dress, which is this texture, camo, this charcoal also a very good and I'm going to use this brush. I'm going to show you how to do that when you are doing a shrub. Had to do to know three things. First, first we are going to use the dark color, the background color of the shrub. And next we are going to add the midtones. And finally we are going to add highlights. So these are all the things we are going to do to create this appearance. So let me start first. I'm going to choose this brush and I'm going to choose my color. I'm going to use my color, which is black. So it can either choose a black or dark green row, almost 90 percent dark green are a 100 percent dark green so that we do in on those inner shadows appearance with the help of this sketch book. So I use a 100 percent black. And here I'm going to start my work. You can use any color. Right now. I'm going to use a green color. Later. I'm going to show you one more color for creating the shrub. So I'm going to use a green color now so fast I use that. And I'm going to start to draw the basic shape. So this will keep you out in a boat, the shrub. So I'll just click and drag. You can see how it looks, this particular brush. And I just click and drag. You can see how it looks. When I move my mouse, it create that feel what you want. I was creating, I just click and drag. I did nothing else. And it creates this appearance. So based on the creativity and the needs you can create what kinda have shrub you need on that particular digital painting. So I'm going to create this kind of shrub here. So I had to add this base current first shadow color we are going to add for this shrubbery creation. So after adding that particular shadows. 8. Lights on Green Shrub: After adding that particular shadows, next, I'm going to add the different shades of green. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to add dark green color first. So you can see I have the dark green color. And here I'm going to add that color. Before that, I had to ensure that I had a son. Because based on that only we are going to add the different tones to this particular shrub. So I have to ensure various system. So I'm going to add the sun, you know, on this item side, it will be on this particular location. You can see we just imagine we have the sun here. So I'm going to add those details according to that. So this is not a shrub, a height x1. So I can also choose some different color to show you. So this is my son. And I have the sun's rays from this direction only. So I'm going to use the green color. So I'm going to use the dark green as I mentioned. So here I'm going to add the details. First. Had to add these details on the complete shrub. So I'm going to add those details. So the completed this particular announced single shrub, and here we have a more small segmental area. So, but here I need some shadow. And after the hero, so I have that particular shrub. You know, the sun is above all overhead, not near with a shrub. So I don't want to create that kind of, you know, illusion. So here I have my shadows. You can see how it looks. Then after created this, I'm going to add further tones to create a retails. So I was used to variations here. First I used black and next I use dark green. So next I'm going to add little more on the color, the hue with this particular green. So I add more green. Here you can see the number of color variation in the same tone you use will give you better clarity as well as the better detail for the digital painting. So I'm going to use this color now I can also adjust your brush according to your need. You know, each and every time you don't want to use the same brush to create your digital art. So this time what I'm doing is I'm going to add here because we also know how their particular shrub will absorb the light and light here. So it will be like this. And after this, I'm going to add another color variation for adding more details. Using like that. Using these informations, the color variations. Next I'm going to use on more color variation. So I use slightly more green are the same. I'm going to add a little lemon yellow. You can see what kind of color variation here we have. And I'm going to add those details. This time. I'm going to add that color in their particular sunlight was directly reflecting on the shrub. So I'm not going to IOT overall the sharp point on those parts only. Just zoom in here. I'm want to ensure where I have that light. So based on your needs, you can add you want on your needs, you can adjust the threshold snow. So we can see it's easy process. It's a simple process. Also you can create according to your need. You can use your own creativity. You don't want to do the same thing what I have done in this lesson. It's up to you. After this, what I'm going to use, finally, I'm going to choose a low color, a pure yellow. And I'm going to reduce a brushless as much as I record. And here I'm going to add that a loafer, those highlights or the particular shrub. It will show that we have young leaves. Those highlighted areas. So you can see it's easy process can do. You don't want to add this below all over your shrub that we never looks good. So we have to use this in limited values. So in this way you can create your own shrub. And if I want some minimum Greenland are the ground based on my color, I can use some other brushes. And if you want grassland at the bottom or if we want to add some sand, you can use a brush and you can add those colors according to your need. For example, I'm going to add some color here. Let me show you going to use my traditional brush. So here I'm going to add that color. I'm going to increase the opacity. So it's a 100 percent. Now. Here I'm going to have that color. So you can see how it looks. And if I want to add more colors, can add, I can add different shares in this color also. Like I can use some dark colors with that. And I can blend with the help of texture brushes, smudge brushes. I'm going to add more dark value. With that. Finally, I'm going to use mismatch tools, those colors. So this is how you can create all those stuff with the help of a sketchbook. 9. Pink Shrub Shadows: Now I'm going to create one more small shrub with a different color. I'm going to use the same brush. Let me show you how to do that. So here I'm going to add that sharp. So I'm going to use the same version as I mentioned. I use the same brush and I'm going to create the shrub. But dark pink color, going to start with the black. And here I'm going to add the black. This time I have a solid single bunch appearance. So it will be like this. Was adding my creativity now I was using and you can create based on your ideas. We can add our ideas with this digital art. You can pay into her own loan, can coastline. 10. Highlights of Pink Shrub: So after adding this, I'm going to choose the color. And I want to add those things. So here also in Ohel, the sum in that way. So I want to add the share on this side, and I'm going to add the rest of the details. So apart from this area, are used to other areas. And after this, going to add the next color variation. Well this time I'm going to use this tool. This is charcoal. I just click that and I'm going to use it here. You can see how it looks. So this is how it looks, the charcoals. And after this, I'm going to use the same duty to add more dense. And add more dense. Then I'm going to add that I wanted. For this shape. You will need, are most in need the highlighter color over the surfaces. And finally, I'm going to add bright highlighted color. And this time I'm going to use the Chaco brush. You can see use the charcoal brush. And I was also using the light color to show that particular highlight areas. So in this way, you can create a long shrub. You don't need to worry about. The same thing you can create occurring Tumor need under here I'm going to use some land color like this. So I'm going to use my traditional pressure again. So here I'm going to add that color. And if I want to add a little bit on Windows shadow. Finally, I'm going to smudge tool suite blends those values. When you are creating watercolor. We'll do the same thing. We will add those colors and will blend with the brushes. Will use the same thing in each and every painting method. After this, if you want to add some more additional elements like you, if you want to add some flowers, remain side, we can add that also. So in this way, it can create a shrub appearance with the help of this Autodesk Sketchbook. Based on your creativity, can also create a more kind of different variety of shrubs and they'll pop Autodesk Sketchbook. 11. Background Environment for Shrubs: Now I'm going to add some more details that I can see how it looks. I'm going to add a new layer here. So add a new layer and a layer below that, the shrubs. So after that I'm going to add some more details. So I'm going to use small scale-like appearance. So I'm going to use my brush. You can see how it looks. And I'm going to use white color to create the Cloud. And after creating those values for it, add in more detail here. So I'm going to use my ink pen brush. Going to choose this color and press Alt key and I choose this color. And here I'm going to use, remember we are using this bottom layer only. So that will never affect the rest of the layers. So this is how I'm going to add some other details. And after that I'm going to add another sand like appearance. So this is how it looks. And I'm going to blend those colors. So I use the shrub layer again. And here I'm going to use the smudge tool and they blend as much as possible. And I record so it's easy to create another complete landscape. Can see Heroes, I'm going to do the same thing. So I'm going to blend these values. So it's easy. You can also do this in easily. Autodesk Sketchbook. 12. The Stem of the Plant: In this lesson, we are going to see how to create a small plant with the help of Autodesk Sketchbook. We are going to paint the complete small plant. And also we are going to see how to create our own custom brushes with this sketch book. Or you can create any shape and we can convert that shape into pressure. Let me show you how to do that. So first what I'm going to do is I'm going to create the basic stem appearance for this particular plant. So I'm going to use the tool, going to use this, my ink pen tool. And after this, selecting this increment to it, I'm going to use a dark green color. So since it's a plant, I'm going to use the dark green color, IP, it is a tree. I can use a mother brown color. So I know I'm going to use only the green color and I'm going to use my layer pallets. And because in this lesson I'm going to use a different brush creations. So I need to use those layers also. So I'm going to create a new layer. So this is the layer which is background layer, which just rename this BG layer. And after that I'm going to add that particular plant. So I'm going to add a new layer. Here. I'm going to give a name plant. So here I'm going to draw my plant. So based on your requirement, you can create or particular plant height, how much you want. So I'm going to start, you know that this place just click and drag ratio is bigger in size. So it's 10 now. Okay, This also beaker going to reduce that into seven. Yeah, this is fine. And I'm going to start with displaced. Just click and drag. So I just want to ensure you know, how I want to create the particular flesh. We can also use an artist ink pen that denote the pressures are really good when you're creating this kind of work. So I'm going to use this pen, ink pen from artist. And I'm going to reduce the pressure is again, it's PHI only. If I need, I can add no more brushstroke. I'm going to create the main stem appearance. So this will be the main stem appearance. And I'm going to create in a short way. And after that I'm going to reduce the placeless. I mean, it's 3 now we can see. And I'm going to create those things. That's it. I'm going to finish here. And here I want to add some more values. So I want like this. And at the bottom also, you know, I just want to literally broad area. This is a normal plant loops. And after that I'm going to create those branches. So I'm going to add, I'm going to use aggression is again, I'm going to add those branches. So based on your need, you can add those branches since it's a plan to v, you will not have too many branches on the plant. So you will have only limited amount of branches. I had like that only here I'm going to add a hue. And finally, we are going to have some kind of flower or something here at this place. So after adding these informations, can add those shadows if you want. So I use a brush size here, I'm going to add that particular color. So this will give you a better view to compare the central colored stone. We can blend it later or you can leave it in that same vein. System. Better. You should add that detail. And here I'm going to reduce the precious little bit. Add that values. The stem will be visible for no audience because the branches may cover with the leaves. So I'm going to show these areas. So I'm going to add so it will have this kind of Q. And if you need, you can land, otherwise, you can leave it. You have to reduce the brush size and began to plan like this. So we'll have this kind of appearance. So after adding these inflammations, I'm going to add my leaf here. 13. Draw Custom Leaves: To add leave, you know, you have two ways how to use anyone predefined pressure here. So we have a lot of preset pressures here. Or you can add your own custom leaf, but you had to create our own custom leaf. So how can we do that? You can also download and load those customer leaves. But if you want the exact shape of the leaf, you have to create it. I'm going to show you now how to create a custom leaf here. To create a custom leaf, I'm going to add a new layer. So I'm going to add a new layer. And this layer, I'm going to create the leaf. I'm going to use the pen tool. You can see and I'm going to use the dark black, the complete black. So I'm going to use an ink pen us unless the dark black. And here we have a lot of areas. So I'm going to create here letter. We can hide that layer because we are creating this in a separate layer. We can hide or we can delete later and also it's not a problem. So I want to create basically leave appearance, how I need a leaf. So we have so many methods of leaves. In plants. For example, we will have leaves like this. I'm going to draw it. So this is another basic shape of the leaf. Will have in the plants can see that. And we have another few variety of loose style. You may have seen this in your house. And I'm going to add those details. So here I can use some tool and it can reduce the brush size and just according to my need. So I have another leaf like this. Now I'm going to play it on modelling. Going to increase the size. Here. I'm going to create it now. And I'm going to complete the belief structure. So here I'm going to use to login and shaping that. You would need to know you can use whichever you want. Now what I'm going to do, you can also scale your leaf with the help of this quick transform to the discrete transform, it can scale the leaf and Oracle more. We can transform. That's all US right now. Going to scale it. Fine. 14. Setup Custom Leaf Brush: For creating this plank. Now I'm going to use on this live, but I'm going to use this leaf in a deal more. So for that, what I'm going to do, I had to duplicate this particular layer. So I just duplicate this layer. I just persona minerals like to use this one duplicate layers. So we have one more layer. You can see that. So here what I'm going to do, I just hide one setup layer. I need only this layer, so I just wanted is remaining to do selection tools. And I erase those two layers. So in this layer I have currently only one layer. You can see that. Now I'm going to choose the Transform. Transform again. You want to prove we get this. So when you want to get this, I just personal memos. They do the same thing to beget layer. So you get another new layer here. I'm going to use that same transform tool that we transform tool. And you can see that how it looks, just want to rotate that layer. So I rotate like this. And here also I want to select this layer. Now I want to rotate. So I want to create a new layer appearance like this. And I select both layers. It 2s quick transform, rotate. So we will have this appearance. And I'm going to move this layer because I want to rotate this value. So this is how I need. I know both layers. Now I select the first one, I just press hold and it shows a message with the below. So we'll have the layer like this. So after creating this layer, next, I'm going to convert this, this shape into brush, the custom brush. So further, what you need to do is I come to the Brush Library. So in British Library we have a different category of brushes. We can see we have textural capex, synthetic, traditional. We have different category of brushes here. And if you want to create a new list, you have to mention what kind of brush you need it, whether it is a textural virtual copy. Now I'm going to get only basic brush. So what I'm going to do, I come to this basic brush area. And here you can see we have a circle of dots. I had to press for this place. So when you press hold on this laser o for each and every brush category, you have that same option here. So if you want to create a synthetic paintbrush based as she can come to this place. And here we can add a nucleus, but here I want to create only basic brush. You can use it for different purposes later so you can chain that brush into different brushes like No, when I was creating this brush, I am going to create this as a basic bit, but later you can convert that into synthetic pressure. No problem. So here I'm going to press goal, this particular normal, this brush. And here I'm going to choose this new pressure. So when I click New Brush, shows me know the options. What kind of brush you are going to create. Voltages surrendered. And I choose Create. So when I choose Create, Here we have, in this basic category, you can see we have the name, we'll just do it yourself. And this is our current custom brush. We are going to edit those informations. So what I'm going to go, I just double-click as usual, just double-click. And here you can see we have the current brush. We can set all those values here. By default, you will have a standard brush matter. So I come to the advanced brush options. So here we have lots of options. I come to the bottom and here I'm going to select this shape. So winning select shape. Here I have two options. I can import any one shape and I can convert that shape as a brush. And I have another way which is capture. If you want to import means you have to create the brush in a separate software or the same software. And how to save that as a transparent background file like PNG file or PSD file, or a tiff image had to be hard to keep that particular file and a transparent file instead of the day can do more things just so we can use this capture option. So let me show you how to do that before going to do that, or I'm going to do, I'm going to hide all other layers. So apart from this, you know, this layer, the custom brush layer, I'm going to hide our lowest layer, including my background layer. So now I'm going to choose this capture. How many personas capture icon. Here you can see it shows texture capture mode was not in a normal mode, and you'll have a brush here. So what do you need to do is you need to increase the brush size. Can see I increase the pressure is and you had to cover within this area. So yeah, it goes perfectly. You cannot cover like this. We will miss those details. And you can also cover like this because we have a lot of unnecessary areas. So you have to use those values in exactly. So I'm going to choose like this. I just click only once. So when I click here, it will capture that particular view with a transparent background. And it will be available in our Brush properties. That's it. Now we can show all other details. You can also hide that particular custom made brush. And I come to the plant area again. 15. Apply leaves on Plant: Before adding the leaves, I'm going to add a new layer for leaves because they want to change my leaves. I can do that without affecting the plant. That's why I'm going to add a new layer for the leaves. And I'm going to rename that layer into the leaves to rename. And I'm going to give an IM leaves. So I'm going to use this layer. I'm going to use this particular tool directly. You can see how it looks. Just plus controllers it and invest poverty. So I'm going to adjust those values. And we have a basic properties like no size, opacity only. I'm not going to use these values to help others. You can only set the size of the leaf and this particle is enough for me. Now what I'm going to do, I choose advanced. In advance. You have a lot of options and you can start with, here are different properties for the custom brush. So here I'm going to use spacing. First, I'm going to use this option spacing. So now you can see how it looks. I'm going to select that color also first. It really looks cool tone. So the spacing is really good and you can set what kind of roundness in it. I want to round us valley into 100 and the rotation value how you need. So you can adjust this later when you are creating those, the rest of the details. And after this, I'm going to adjust other values. So here we can see scaling person's age based on your need. You can do all those things and how it should be sharp. So any sharp edges, I just want to keep this into a 100 percent and they come to the bottom. Here we have some other properties. You can see that randomness, randomness we have size, opacity, flow, rotation, all those values. So here I'm going to adjust the size. So now you can see we have different sizes. We don't have the same kind of alleles. And second, we have more important options, just randomness. So any I just see, so you can see I can rotate those leaves. So they will not available in the same direction that this also know not the important thing we need are this plant creation. So I just this like this. So I'm going to use this tool right now. Let us see how it looks. I'm going to show the customer. So here you can see this is the brush we have created. I'm going to use this value. So I'm going to add No dark green color brush. So I'm going to use only limited lives. Since it's only plan. If you don't want the random leaves, you want to know, direct our lives. Only. What you can do is you can come to this place and you can search up the randomization. But if you want in all the different categories, different directional leaves, how to enable that. And it also here you can see how that transparency, I don't want the transparency. So it can further, what I'm going through is I'm going to reduce this value to 0.1. This is a size with the light pressure. So now I create that. I can see we don't have enough transplant leaves. So I'm going to do the same thing again. Just press Control Z to undo. And here I'm going to add those values again. So can I add like this, but he didn't do that. You know, how to create some foliage leaves. Random value, of course, cannot ignore that fact. But if you have overlook, this will be really good. Now I'm going to have some color variation, going to add those colored values. So based on your needs, you can create your own leaf. You don't want to follow the same method. And I'm going to reduce the brush size also if you want. So it can create some young leaves like appearance on those edges. I added too much of young leaves, so small variations should be there. And finally, I'm going to add a little more detail. I'm going to add. I'm going to use this color. And I'm going to add small details. And at the bottom I'm going to add some green colors. This really not looks good. Here also I'm going to add those branches. So I'm going to add in a bunch of leaves. And I'm going to add color values. And I'm going to use the same colors, small or large size. Finally here I'm going to add a small signed areas, the values, the colors. And here I'm going to add some more. So I'm going to use smudge tool. So that's it. And this way you can create your own plant creation with the help of Autodesk. Sketchbook can also create your own custom leaf. We have used only one live, but I have created three leaves. You can see that. So if you want a B is wrong, you are in need. You can load different lives. Since I was added those leaves in a separate layer. If you want to add a different leaves are different colors for this particular tree, we can add those things. So the help of this Autodesk Sketchbook.
