About This Class

Hey Rock Star!

In this class I teach you the basics of "drop d" tuning. First I show you how to tune to drop d and then we learn how to make your own riffs. After this class you will have lots of ides and a great foundation for the tuning.

This is a good primer for drop D tuning. I have never used this so it was good to get some pointers. To get the drop D tuning, you should lower your 6th string to match the 4th string-the D string. That was not mentioned. It would have been nice to have had a short acoustic demo too.

In his words, he describes his joy “Teaching guitar is more than sharing experience for me. I feel like I´m really refining my skills as a teacher, but more than that, there is no greater joy than seeing my students’ faces light up after playing something that they thought was never possible for them”.

In his downtime, when he is not providing guitar lessons or improving and honing his craft, Henry likes to indulge in his other passions; spending time with his family, skateboarding and yoga.
