Audacity is a free and open-source digital audio editor and recording application software, available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and other Unix-like operating systems. Audacity was started in the fall of 1999 by Dominic Mazzoni and Roger Dannenberg at Carnegie Mellon University and was released on May 28, 2000, as of version 0.8. As of July 26, 2021, it is the most popular download from FossHub, with over 110.6 million downloads since March 2015. Previously, downloads were served from Google Code and SourceForge, with a combined total in excess of 200 million downloads. Audacity won the SourceForge 2007 and 2009 Community Choice Award for Best Project for Multimedia. Audacity is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later. In April 2021, it was announced that Muse Group (owners of MuseScore and Ultimate Guitar) would be acquiring the Audacity trademark and continue to contribute to the development of the software, which remains free and open source.

1. Class Introduction: Hi, my name is recognized. I welcome you all for this course. Learn audio recording editing processing with Audacity. You have eight lessons in this course, we are going to start with how to download the software and how to install the software in your desktop PC. After that, we're going to see the user interface of audacity. We are going to see how to record our audio using Audacity. How to edit the recorded audio using Audacity, how to remove the unwanted noise from the audio file. How to add audio effects for the audio file. How to do a multi-track audio editing and sound designing using Audacity software. Let us see in our classes. 2. 01 Download the Audacity: In this lesson, we are going to see how to download Audacity software from the site. So first I'm going to open a Google. And here I'm going to type Udacity and a type audacity and press Enter. Here you can see we have a lot of results. At first, you can see we have a website which is at Udacity team.org. So this is the official website for download, this free software. I'm going to open it now, so I just click the very first link, download Audacity and choose Download or density. Here you can see this is the download page. And when I choose this logo here, we'll have the homepage view. So it shows you it's a free as well as open-source, cross-platform audio software. So you don't need to pay any money for these, can directly use to create any production work using this Audacity software. And you have all the information about those software. The futures. It has the recording input exploiting the various file formats, a sound quality editing work plugins you can use, you can do all kinds of editings. It can use lot of effects and accessibility analysis. So these are the main features we have this atrocity. So here I'm going to download the software. They are two ways to download the software. First one, here you can see we have the download Audacity icon. From here itself. We can download and you can look up displays. We can have three platforms here. Hell Windows, Mac as well as Linux. So in all those three platforms, you can use this software. Audacity can also do one more way. You can come to this navigation bar and this navigation bar you have download option. In this download option, you can choose which platform you want to choose. For example, if I wanted to sum Mac, you can choose Mac. If you want to choose Linux, you can choose here. And if you are using Windows operating system, you can use this Windows. So first I'm going to choose this windows, can choose according to your need. And after choosing this window, here you can see the countdown is going on. And when it's completely know, the software downloading process was sorted. Here you can see it has only 33 and B. So it's a very short file size software, so you don't need to spend much amount of data to download the software. And the version is 3.3. So this is the latest edition and it has 64-bit installer. So that is water currently I was downloading. So in this way you can download this Audacity software, sham, you're upset. I come to this plug-ins here. You can also open the same plug-in from this area itself. You know, plugins. We can see what are the units we have here. We have all based on information for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating system. And we have a list of things here we can see. So I'm going to show you one by one. So in this way you can download this Audacity software. It's a free as less open source software you can download from this website, Audacity team.org. In next lesson, I'm going to show you how to install the software in your computer. 3. 02 Install the Audacity: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to install Audacity software for your computer. So this is the fourth. Here you can see the downloaded file has the word TMD file size. And the rim of the particular software is Audacity. You can see it's a Windows fission. The Russian number is 3.03, and this is a 64 bit architectures opcode. So now I'm going to install the software. I just double-click this and you double-click this particular launcher. I'm going to choose this run. So after choosing this run, I will have the basic information. So how to choose? Yes. Basically you, when you're installing any free software, it is an easy way. You can give all positive answers like Okay, yes, next. And finally you are going to choose the finish. So if you are done the same way, it is easy to install any free or open source software in your computer. So here I can see I have the setup of language and English. So I choose by default it will be English. If you want to change the language also it can do. So. I'm going to maintain the same language. Let's choose. Okay? And here we have the next window shows information about the installation inside choose Next. And I have the license agreement going to choose Next. And it shows you where the particular, you know, in software going to get installed. It's a C drive within this program files folder. So it 2s next. And if I want to create the shortcut inner desktop, I can enable this. Otherwise I can disable that. And if you want to reset the preferences, you know, if you have already installed the software and remove that. And again, you're going to install means you will have some kind of references in your system. If you want to reset the preferences, you can choose this one. Since I was a no installing the software for first-time, not going to enable this one. So just add a shortcut in my desktop and I'll choose Next. And here you have the information to install the particular software. So I choose the Install button. So when I click this install button, the software will be no installed. So you can see the process here. It shows the software installation process to take only a few seconds. So based on her computer configuration may take some time. So we had to wait. It's going to get finished. Yes. To us finish up. I'm going to choose the next icon here. And it shows me, you know, launched Audacity. I'm not going to launch this offer. Just disable this. How I'm going to choose this button, finish. So when it choose the Finish button, the installation was successfully completed. So in this way, you can install this adiposity 3.3 versions 64 bit architecture software in your computer. 4. 03 User Interface of Audacity: In this lesson, we are going to see how to open this software Audacity from our computer. So astray double-click this icon on a open this icon per custom. Here you can see we have halfs update and welcome to Udacity screen, an app update screen. It shows you how to update your software. It shows, you know, in your preferences, you have the application, can check the update option there. So I choose. Okay. After that you have a welcome screen. So it shows you what come to our Udacity. It shows you the software name as well as the version name. And it has some quick help links here. If you want, you can use it. And each and every time if you want to show this in the software was launched, I can leave this just that an okay. And if you don't want to show this welcome screen each and every time the software getting launched, what he can reuse, we can disable this, so we can just check here. Chose you don't show this again at the startup because the very first time we have seen this. So I choose, I just enabled this, don't show, and I chose this. Okay? So now here we have the software. So this is the software area. I just maximize this view. Here we have the user interface. We have a metal bar here. We have different menus based on the audio recording as far as editing, adding special effects purpose, I have edited minute to edit audio. We have transport may know node two to all audio transportations, we have tracks, has to create the audios. We have fx Minow and After Effects menu. We have analyzed tools and helps. So these are all the menus we have in this Audacity maneuver. And after that, we have in our list of different toolbar here. At first we have Audacity transport toolbar here, so it can play and you can pause, you can stop Recording. It can start the recording with the help of this button. You can go to the beginning and you can go to the end of the audio clipping using these two buttons. So these are the options we have in this, you know, how does the terms quote told burn? After this auto city transport toolbar, we have Audacity Toba here. So with the help of this toolbar, we can place the cursor where you want. You can zoom in. We draw tool here, and after that we have this envelope tool. We have this time ship tool. And finally we have this multi-tool, the shortcut keys F6. So we have an aldose at Udacity Tool, toolbar here. And after that here you have this Audacity meter toolbar. So from here to here we have war itself. We can see this is our estimator to B2. So till this we have that area and after that we have this area which is Audacity mixer toolbar can mix a little microphone volume with the audio. So after this atrocity mixer toolbar, I come to this place and here you can see we have cut copy paste area. This toolbar is called Audacity Editor toolbar. After a recitative to toolbar, we have this play at speed toolbar. With this, you can control the current player, the audio. And after that, I come to this area. So this is an important area here in this user interface. This is how Udacity device toolbar. We can choose which device you want, by default it to be MME, and you can choose whichever you want, you can choose your microphone. So right now I was choosing the right microphone. And based on your needs, you can to sit. And after that, I'm going to choose this, the mono or stereo track. You can choose which channel you want. Finally, I'm going to choose this as speakers and the output area. So with this, we finish this I know on the controller and we have the work area at the center. You can see we have the very good work area to do all audio editing as well as audio recording works. And apart from that, you know, after this work area at the bottom, you can see we have the play area. The help of this, you know, gray area. You can control all those selections so they'll pop this area. You can set the sample rate at the audio rate. You can set according to your need and you can set the value. So according to her need, you can see we have all those tedious at the bottom. And it shows hours, minutes, seconds up to audio recording, the selector Ru at this user interface. So we have all these areas. So we have all these areas at the bottom of the task per se there. So these are the options you have in this user interface. We are going to use all these options in this audacity. 5. 04 Record Audio using Aydacity: In this isn't your code to see how to record using Audacity software to record and playback the audio. We have this transport toolbar here, so to help OK, disregard icon, we can record any audio. Before I start to record my audio. How to ensure what will be the audio volume here. So I was having the audio volume into 15 000. So after this, I'm going to set this particular audio host. So it should be a mommy. It's by default one. You don't need to change or it will be directed according to your system configurations. So don't think that second here we have the microphones. So currently I was going to use this right microphone and I'm going to have to channel which is left and right. So I'm going to choose this to Stereo. Out of that we have the output channel, which is my speakers. So now I'm going to click this record button and choose the card button. I can start to record my audio. So I just click this. Here. You can see I can start to record my audio. So you can see the audio views here. Whatever I was talking through this microphone, it will be recorded there. So I'm going to talk take Hi, this is mega days. So I will come to you all for this Audacity software class. In this software we are going to see how to record our audio, how to edit and how to add some special effects, how to create noise reduction, and how to export our audio in a different file formats. Let's start our class. So I was given a brief audio permission. So let us see how it was recorded. But the audio quality, I'm going to stop the recording now. If you want to pause, it can use this button pause so that you know it can continue after some time. So for example, going to continue which from this place itself. So you can see I was continuing the same thing. And after that I'm going to choose this Stop button. So when you choose stock or dummy can see it was a contributor. So I'm going to do is I can scale this audio track, the help of this end. If I come to this bottom you end, I can have a double arrow here. So now I just click and drag my mouse. So you can see I can scale my entire on that particular audio track. And if you want to zoom in and zoom out, we can just press control and you can scroll your mouse. Scroll by most you know, towards insight, I will have the zoom in view. And here you can see how I have that audio. And when it's called tours outside, I'll have some oatmeal. So the zone you need, you can zoom in in which way you want. So I'm going to play this audio. Let us see how we have that audio. Here. You can see I can start to record my audio so you can hear the audio is really good. And if they want to increase the volume here, here you can see in the latency there how volume as well as channels Pan controls. So right now it was centered. So if you want the audio on left-hand side, I can add just like this. And if I want to add the pan Internet and cilia can move into it and set. It shows you what percentage off, you know, that volume we have. So I'm going to have that in a center. And if I want to increase this volume level, I can use this option itself. So it can increase the desirable level. I'm going to play again till you can see, I can start. So here you can see we have the volume playback level. It shows you what is the current, the odd you won't know, I'm going to reduce here so that it can able to hear in a lowest volume my audio. So you can see the difference, you can see the outcome and I'm going to increase again. So you can see we have a red colored area here, right? So this is only for the playback option to edit the audio. So this is only for our view. So I'm going to have this into 0. Yeah, this is the default audio track. In this way, you can record any audio with the perfume microphone and you can have this in a separate file. Now I'm going to save this. So I choose File menu, I can, I'm going to choose Save Project. I can use the same project to sail this particular project file. I'm going to choose Save Project. And I'm going to choose this as a project. And choose Save Project. It shows me know, the warning, save Raj DC automatic project and not an audio file. Yeah, this project file, not an audio failures. I don't want to show this window again, going to choose, Okay, then I'm going to save this particular work. So I'm going to share my Audacity folder. So I'm going to give a name recording one. I'm going to save this. I can see what is the file format, this dot p3, and I choose C. So we have successfully save this document. And if you want to export this audio as an MP3 40, how to do is you have to come to the File menu and you had to choose Export. And here I'm going to choose this Export As MP3, our view. So based on your needs, you can choose which only one country. I'm going to export this as a WAV file. So I choose Export As view. And here I'm going to save this with the same name recurring one. Save this. And if I want to add the title name for this track and I can add the title of the artists. I can add the album title. So can I add all those things if you want, going to choose OK here. And it will just save. Now I'm going to my desktop in my Audacity folder. I have that software. And this is such file.txt P3 file, the source document for the Audacity file. And after that, here you can see we have that particular variable which is recording. One can see it has no sound point, phosphor AMP document size. And these are all the supporting files. I'm going to play this now. Go to choose my VLC player here. Here you can see I can start to record my audio. So you can see the audio views here. Whatever I was talking through this microphone, I it will be recorded there. So I'm going to talk take high. This has been studies so you can able to hear, you know, the entail swishing water was recorded through my Audacity software. So in this way, you can record and you can save your audio using Audacity software. 6. 05 Audio Editing with Audacity: In this lesson, we are going to see how to edit the recorded audio using Audacity software. So first I'm going to open this file. I can use File Open or I can just drag and drop within this area. So I just come to this my Audacity folder here. How regarding one dot-dot-dot go into track and trough here. So you can see we have the recorded audio here going to play here. Here you can see, so you can use a space bar to play this particular timeline needle. You can also use these controls here. Here you can see I can start to record my audio. So I don't want to these areas going to start with, Hey everyone, the warnings. And I just want the bottle only know the type of boat audacity. So I'm going to select that area, can see the audio waves here. Whatever I was talking through this microphone, it will be recorded there. So I'm going to talk like, hi, this is Ben. Today's. So I will come to you all for this 0.6s so you can hear that. So I'm going to talk like so here our started my talk. This is manga days, so I will come tie this. So here I have a starter metatalk and I just place the nail here. And what I'm doing is I can just zoom out in that particular area, right? Press Control and is called memos. Now I selected the scenario, I just press Shift key and select this area. So you can see now this area looks entirely white to compare this gray area, which means no, these area, you know, audio files are completely selector. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to delete this. So I press Delete key, and I'm going to play this from the beginning. Pi, this is when today's. So I will come to you all for this Audacity software class. In this software we are going to see how to record our audio, how to edit and how to add some special effects, how to create noise reduction, and how to export our audio in a different file formats. Let's start our class so it can hear that up to this area, I have my audio recording that our city softer. And after that I have the unwanted areas. So what I'm going to do is just click and drag I selecting all those areas. Now we press Delete key so that I have only know that particular area which is talk about how Udacity Pi, this is when today's. So you can say it was perfect in oil, was removed, those unwanted areas. Hi, this is Ben. Today's. So I will come to you. So if you know here this audio track, I have some one-quarter spaces here. We want to speed up the talk. What you can do is you can remove those unwanted of spaces. I this is when today's so I will come to you all. I will come to you all can hear the audio with some spores. So I remove that unwanted enough space. This is Bangladesh. So I will come to you just want to remove that. So, so I I will come to you all. I will come to you. I will come to you. Welcome to you all. I will come to you all. Okay. So from this area, going to remove up to this and I'm going to play this game playing days. I will come to you all for this Audacity software class in this salt here, I don't want that kind of space. So I remove this. Let's just scroll. To zoom out. In this software, we are going to see how to record over. So here I don't want that space. Record our audio. Here also. I don't want that space. Okay, how to engage the audience? We don't need to give so much amount of distance between the words or sentences, how to edit and how to add some special effects. How to edit and how to add some special effects, how to create. So here also I'm going to remove those unwanted areas. How to create noise reduction. So yeah, I just want to remove that toward add some special effects how to create noise, right? Noise reduction. Noise noise reduction. And so from here I'm going to remove this area noise reduction and how to export our audio in here also, I'm going to reduce that area and how to export our audio in a different file formats. Let's start off here. So I'm going to remove that. When you have too much amount of distance between those words and sentences. It cannot be able to engage the audience, so you have to remove those unwanted areas. Now I'm going to play from the beginning. Hi, this is Ben today. So I will come to you all for this Audacity software class. In this software we are going to see how to record our audio, how to edit and how to add some special effects, how to create noise reduction, and how to export our audio in a different file formats. Let's start our class. It can able to hear the audio without any disturbance. I was to remove those unwanted awards, what I was told no targeted through that recording. And also I was to remove the unwanted spaces. So at the end what I'm going to do, I'm going to choose this file, and I'm going to choose this export. Here. I have to choose MP3 or a wave according to my aid. For example, this time I'm going to choose MP3 and I'm going to save this file, has a recording one the same name. Let's use, okay, after that, I just saved this file also. Here I'm going to say with the same name, the project. And you just want to see what will be the quality of the audio. So I come to this border area here you can see we have the MP3 file. This just have to 99 KV audio itself. And this one is a WAV file, but it has in mind for, for NP, that is the difference and the Omo differences that you can see this particular audio file have only 15 seconds duration, but the original, the rod you has 50 seconds. We have successfully the mode 19 seconds unwanted noise, as well as unwanted apart from that recorded audio. So here I'm going to play this. Okay, it was loading. I, this is my good days. I will come to you all for this Audacity software class. In this software we are going to see how to record our audio, how to edit and how to add some special effects, how to create noise reduction, and how to export our audio in a different file formats. Let's start our class. So you can able to hear the audio without any instruments as well as delay. So in this way, you can edit any audio file using this Audacity and you can save that audio file in a different file formats. 7. 06 Noise reduction with Audacity: In this lesson, we are going to see how to remove noise from the audio clip. Let me show you first, I'm going to open the audio file and choose File Open. Here he has a folder which is noise. I'm going to open that. And I had a file which is nice Protection. Going to open that file first. And here you can see this is that audio file has no on two tracks. Going to play this from here is to create the exact shape of the particular tool. So we can able to hear the voice as well as the noise. To create a new suite. Hear that noise clearly. The app to one. So we are going to remove this noise from this, you know, the voice. This is not a easy task. So when you're recording the audio, the time itself, you may use perfect microphone or perfect software to reduce the noise on the recording itself. But sometimes we have to remove this noise after the recurring. So let me show you how to remove that audio noise from this particular track using Audacity. So what you are going to do is if you look at this audio, we have two parts. First one is a voiced going to use a synthetic and we held the noise, you know, it didn't the voice. So first we have to capture the particular noise reference from this audio clipping. So I'm going to have the right location. So here we have the audio noise clipping area just to the contract to select. And I'm going to play this. And we have better, you know, audio clipping sampling area here. So I'm going to just we can track. So this is a better area. It can see. If you want to zoom in, you can just scroll with the control. And you can see how it looks like how the digital audio was recorded. And I'm going to get the sample from this area. So this is enough. You should have at least this amount of duration like no two to 3 second tuition to get the samples. If you have short area, I know like this. That's not a up to one submitted. You should have at least minimum 1 second to three seconds duration for the noise. If you have the problem with the noise, then nominal noise. What you can do is we are after starting your recording versus you had to do at least five seconds silence. So the time that you record the nominal noise, then you start to talk in the end also, you may have one or two seconds for the noise so that it's easy to reduce the noise with the help of the software so that you can capture, you know, the sample area from the beginning. It's a easy process. So let me show you how to do this. So first I have selected the sample area. Just press space bar to play this. So what I'm going to do is I just select this area, the sampling area. And after that I'm going to choose these effects. And in this effects we can see we have a lot of audio effects. You can see that In this, I'm going to choose this option which is noise reduction. So I just click this nice protection. And if you look at this noise reduction, you can see we have Get Noise Profile. So from this place only we are going to get the noise profile. I choose this button, get noise profile. So we got the noise profile here. So after, you know, God, that noise profile, how I'm going to select the entire audio for that. I can press Control J. We can see, you know, all those areas or selector. It shows you the white area. This is press Control J. Now we come to this effects and I choose the same option noise reduction. So we already got that particular noise profile here. So we can have the preview here is to create the exact shape of the particular tool I'm going to use. You can see the difference between the previous audio clipping and what we have at right now. Going to choose OK here. If you want to adjust the no more noise reduction, you want to increase the sensitivity. You cannot just here. And you can have the preview is to create the exact going to increase the value, is to create the exact shape of the particular. It can increase the noise reduction value, but you have to ensure that doesn't affect the volume of the voice quality. So that is an important thing, is to create the exact shape of. So after I know, cetera, all those values according to you need, you can choose OK. So now you can see we have the noisy area, but we'll just silent. I'm going to play from the beginning is to create low, the exact shape of the particular tool. I'm going to just drag and drop the same audio clip. Now again, let us see what kind of difference we have. So here I have that same audio clipping going to place it here. So I just drag and drop. Now I'm going to mute the very first track. Know that noise reduced to track. Just click this Mute. And I'm going to play here is to create the exact shape of the particular tool. So you can see what kind of noise we have here. The exact shape of i. Now I'll just mute this and I'm going to unmute this is to create the exact shape of the particular tool so it can remove the entire noise with the help of this nice detection option in effects. You can see that option here which is nice production. So what we have done is we have selector, the profane, the audio properly area, the sampling area from the noise audio. And we choose that noise reduction option after that, what you're going to see, how to do the preview option. So I can adjust the values according to your need. You can do all kinds of instructions with the help of this audacity. 8. 07 Audio Effects in Audacity: In this lesson, we're going to see how to use audio effects in this audacity. So first you have to have the audio file is to create the exact shape. So I have the audio file without noise here. So I'm going to use audio effects for this track. Let me show you in how do you have x? We have a lot of options here. You can see we have amplify and we have a lot more options here. So if you want to increase the volume of this audio track, you can use this amplify and it chews amplifying. It shows you how to select a sample area. So I press Control a to select the entire area. And I'm going to choose amplify. It can select the entire area to increase the volume, or you can select a particular area to increase the volume. So based on your needs, you can choose how you want. So I'm going to choose this area first. So here I have to increase the volume. So what I'm going to do is I choose effects on it, choose amplify. And here I have inequality default value which is 7.84. And put how the preview. So this is fine. I'm going to press loci. So here you can see what kind of graph we have for the audio. And it shows the representation of the volume. I'm going to press OK. Now you can see we have amplified that audio area. Just press Control Z. And I'm going to select control yay, going to choose Effects Amplify. And I'm going to increase the value. The South the preview is to create yellow. They are a two so k, so that you can see we have the volume change all over the track. So in this way, you can use any audio effects for this audio. And let me show you some more elements like I'm going to choose reverse so that you know how the audio in a reverse manner. I just press Control Z so we can use any effects from this. Going to choose Change Pitch, could have the preview is to create the exact going to increase, going to reduce it. That kind of, you know, robotic wise, we can just all those new values of this change pitch FX using Audacity. So it can have a lot of options like this. And if you want add the fade in from the beginning, we can use this fade in so far that what you have to do is how to select the first area. And here you can select the area. And if you want to add the effect, you can choose fade in. So we can see we have the RU at the beginning. We have a very small amount and it increased gradually. And in the same way, if you want to add fade out, you can use the fade-out option. I'm going to remove these Syria first. And just imagining here I want to add the fade out. In this Audacity software. 9. 08 Multi Track Audio Editing with Audacity: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to do multi-track. I do work using Audacity. Audacity doesn't support multi-track audio editing, but still we can create that kind of illusion. And you can able to create multi-track audio editing using Audacity. We are going to use some techniques. Let me show you how to do a multi-track audio editing using Audacity. So first I'm going to open a fast-track, going to open the voice track, and I'm going to use the background music track pad that first I'm going to open the voice track. Here you can see we have the empty space on work area. My lesson while I had two files, you can see we have the background music and I had the y's. So I'm going to add the voice first, just drag and drop. And here I am going to place that. Here you can see we have one track here. Here you have the empty space. I'm going to add on more track here. I come to this area, the empty space under here, I'm going to release that. You can see we have one more track here. It has no longer duration. So I'm going to reduce the duration of this particular track. Which means I'm going to remove the unwanted area here. And you can see how it looks. Here also, you can see how it looks. So I'm going to play now from the beginning. So we can able to see both the tracks are playing at the same time. You can see the needle was moving in both tracks. So it can able to generate the same audio. So let me show you how to do a rest author works. So first we have added a both audio files here. And I have to ensure what kind of, you know, duration you need at the beginning. So I'm going to have, I'm going to use other tools for that. So first I want to move this, you know, this, or do the voice audio. I had to give some duration like three to four seconds at the front for the background music furthered a here you can see in this toolbar I Khaled up tos going to use this time ship tool. So after choosing the tool, you can just click on track. We can able to move any track here. You can see how we move. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to use the same option. Just can see the duration at the top. So I have given to four seconds duration. So for this first, suppose second division, I'm going to have a background music. Then I'm going to reduce the background music, you know, when my voice rises. And at the end I'm going to rise the vibrant volume again. So that is a plan. So they'll pop this time ship tool you can shift or the audio tracks. And after that again, I'm going to choose the cursor, the selection tool. I want to remove this section completely. So just to zoom this, I'm going to remove this. And so we have the exact audio, how I want after this, I'm going to reduce the volume here. Let us have the preview first. So I go to the beginning, I'm going to play this. Here. I have to reduce the volume. So for that, what I'm going to use in this toolbox, we have one more tool, which is this envelope tool. So I choose this envelop tool and it come to this background music area. Hit a point here. When I click in this area, I'll have that point. I'm going to double-click here. So I'll have one more point. And here also I'm going to double-click, want to add one more point. So in-between, I'm going to add one more point. Here. I'm going to reduce the volume. Just click on track towards they don't Dao. And you can see how we have reduced with the help of this envelope tool. So now I'm going to have the preview go to the beginning, going to play this. The exact shape of the particular tool. If you want to reduce more volume, you can do according to your need. We can do all those things. Going to have the preview from here. Let us see how it punish dark colors and what to use light colors on low dose center area. At the end, I want to reduce the volume gradually. So I'm going to use the effect which is fed out. I choose this background music and I come to this fx, going to choose fade out. And you can see how it looks. It looks really smooth. And if you want to add a fade in at the beginning, you can add the same thing. So I come to this area. I'm going to choose 1 second duration, going to add the fade in from the effects. So now it looks really good. So it can record your audio and you can add the background music. How I'm going to show you how to export this as a single audio file so that you have to do the same thing. I just come to this file, I'm going to choose Export and you have to choose the file format. If you want more audio quality, we can to surveil. And if you want to compress audio CO2, you can choose MP3. So based on your need, you can use, going to use this export as well. And here I'm going to save this wise with the geom and I to sale and choose. Okay. So it was saved and I'm going to have the preview. Now I come to this multi-track audio folder here, how voice with the BGN. And let us have the preview, the exact shape of the particular tool. And I'm going to use a different tool here. I'm going to use a synthetic brush. So we have a lot of synthetic brushes. I can lose up to one. You can use the soft flat brush tool. So these collaborations, I need both light as less dark colors and light colors on low dose center area. So we can able to hear the entire audio. It has two tracks. So in the same way, you can add any number of tracks and you can not just a volume and you can export as a single wave or MP3 file using these Audacity software. In this way, you can use this free, open-source Audacity software to create audio recording, audio editing, and multi-track audio editing in your computer.
