1. Impro1 promo: Hi there. This has been unit, and I want to just tell you a little bit about this improvising course. Now, do you like playing music? That's a stupid question within it. Sorry you wouldn't be here if you didn't. Yeah, course you do. And do you like playing with other people? Well, maybe you do. Maybe you don't. Do you like playing along with recording CDs or on the YouTube or something? Well, I like all of those. And I'm very often in a position where I'm with people socially and they'll say, Oh, Ben will join him with this. I go. Oh, really? Okay. All right. How do I do it? So this course is all about how you do that. How do you just join in and very often you'll just have one harmonica with you. You'll have a C home on agree in your back pocket. Andi. People expect you to just be able to play it because they don't realize it's already complex instrument. People think it's just a stupid, simple toy that made wrong. Never mind. So how do we just join in? And I'm talking about any style of music, Whether it be you know, blues or country or bluegrass or African music or World Musical, whatever you call it. Irish music. Celtic, Gregorian chant, reggae, Anything. I like playing music on DSO I want to join in. So this course is all about how you can do that. I'll teach you all the skills to do it. I mean, it's a huge subject, but I'll teach you a great way into it all on the sea harmonica. And then you can transfer that knowledge across, tow all the others. So if you have a bunch of harmonicas like most people tend to end up doing, you will be able to then select which harmonica you should use, depending on what key the music's in and what position you want to play in. So this is to help you get to that, and we start with just doing it on one harmonica because it's really tricky concept. But you'll you'll get it. Do it on the sea. Harmonica. Learn this stuff. Come on in. Take a look. I think you're gonna love it. It's a brilliant course, my best course yet. I say that about all the courses. All right, come on in. C inside. Bye. For now, 2. Impro2 intro: Now, when we're thinking about improvising, this is you condone. Well, you could look it in two ways. Simultaneous composition and performance makes it sound really hard or making out as you go along. That makes it sound really easy, doesn't it? So why don't we go with the last one making it up as you go along? And we have a couple of questions as as improvisers before we can really start to get to grips with it. So the first thing is to understand what key is that music in on the second thing for harmonica places to know what position we should be using. That tells us which harmonica we're going to use, so there's quite a lot of things to work out. But the first thing is we need to know what key were in. If there's nobody to tell you, then you have to work it out. Of course, if it's somebody there, you can say, I make what cues is in and they go. It's in C or D or E i f four f sharp or whatever. Nice and easy. But if there's no one there to tell you, you have to figure it out. So if I just put on a ah found a LP that haven't listened to have a long time, it's by called Journey Between. And it's by a band called Back of Beyond. So this is just sort of random haven't listened to this stuff for years. Thats is the first track called Bay. So what is this in? So the idea is you sing Sing it now. Go now Way We haven't got very much information yet. Way um still not much information. Way trying to sing, dude. Uh, yeah way, Keogh In that key, I think maybe that one feels like that was stronger now, Uh oh. I think that's probably the key. If, uh, I could find that on any instrument that I'm gonna play Harmonica role, whatever. On start improvising from that tonic note. Let's have a look at another one shall way. And I don't know what keys. Thes written called Migrations. OK, Do you think it's it? I think it's in. Uh, so I could just find that on the harmonica theme. That's not be three. Drawer did not sound a bit weird, but first to sounded good Theo way. So I think that was in the KGB. So do you see the process? Should try that with one more. Let's see what clear this is in. Basically, sing it until you find the note. That seems to be most commonly used, of course, that you wait to the very end of the tune. Usually the last note of the piece is the tonic note. But it's too late, by the way. Do they do that? Don't do do do do so. I think it's in the key of, uh, Dio here, the guitar way. So pretty shorts in the kid, huh? To draw on a C hops and kitschy Theo? I think so. That's my That's one of my methods off finding out which key a piece of music is in by singing along and trying to figure out which note sounds most prominent. And then, from there you can start. Add your your scales onto that, and that's what we'll do start to do in the next lecture. Okay, so your practices find a piece of music, anything you like. Any style, anything you want on, sing along with it. Try and work out. If you cannot key, it's in then if you can apply a note to it, you know which are Monica, you've got or have a little keyboard handy or even an app to tell you what noted is a tuning up. Then go to the very end of the song and see if he ends on that note and it probably will do . OK, that's your assignment. I will see you later. Thank you. 3. Impro2a tonic: right. Let's have another go at that. Showy. This time I had a bit more harmonica into it. So again, a randomly chosen CD soul shakedown party, Bob Marley and the Wailers on this one's gonna be African herbs. Hman. So let's see what way? Somewhere around there. Oh, so I'm finding to drawer to draw is working well on matter. I'm finding the tonic is G on that song. Let's go down. One more sun is shining. Be one of those, uh, thanks to clothe Theo. Theo, That was Mr Brown. More information, Please, Bob Way, Theo. So that was in D flat. So that's how I try to do it is to sing along, figure out what works, write it down and then perhaps revisit it on. And sometimes I find I was wrong. It can happen. Imagine that me being wrong? Yeah, mostly that surrounds. But we can learn from this. Just pick the tonic Note as far as close as you can get on. Then we figure out what we do with that tonic Note. What do we do next? That's coming Next. All right. So have another little assignment. Pick another few tracks. An album or something. Something you like. Andi, try and figure out what key everything's in and write it down. Okay. See you next time. 4. Impro3 modal scales: now, assuming you've figured out what is the tonic note. What key the pieces in, then what do we do next? Okay, well, it's all based on scales, so let's look at the simplest scales. You can get off a C harmonica. A love this transfers across all of the other harmonicas. There are 12 keys of normal tuned harmonicas in total. C is the one that relates to the piano white notes. So it's kind of easier to understand. So we've got the scale of C See CD F G A B C. Now you should will be able to play that, I think c major first position. We call that. So if you unfamiliar with that, then practice that one now, please, over and over, up and down. Let's just go up in alphabetical order. So now we'll stick with the what we call the piano white notes so we won't be doing any note bending. You can, of course, later, but you won't be doing right now. We'll be just playing the motile scale so we're using the notes of the scale of C but starting in seven different places because there are seven notes in the scale of C. So we'll start that collection of notes that I just I said to you, C d E f g A b and it starts again. So those seven alphabetical notes are the piano white notes, so you can start them anyway. You can start on a or B or C or D or E or F or G, and you just run up the scale. So here's the C scale again for blow. Now we play the same scale, but start on the second degree of it and go one degree further. So we start on the second degree of that scale. We just played to start on, what, four drawer now? So this is gonna be our d scale, Dorian uh And then that's the position. The next one is R E scale, cause they're going up in alphabetical order. So e thistles, the second degree of the Dorian Scale e scale e f g etcetera. That's our fifth position scale fringy in mode, the next one second degree of that one. So e f start f now the three F two F scale, which is 12 position or the Lydian mode now the next the second degree of that scale is G F G uh, G two G is our second position or mixer Lydian Mode, Second magician scale. The second degree of that G A. Uh that's the alien mode or fourth position on, then the next. The second degree of that scale, a B is B. I'll start on three drawers so that we avoid any bending. So that's our lot Korean mode or sixth position. And that's our motile scales Quite quick. You might want to go over this again. In the next lecture, we will pull out two notes from each of those scales to make our pentatonic scales. Five notes scales because really the five note scale a pencil right scale is your favorite friend for improvising. In my opinion, I'm not going back. Complex jazz stuff. I'm talking about basic improvising. The pentatonic scales are going to be extremely helpful for you. Okay, practice those modal scales and then we'll go into the Pentatonix next. Thank you. 5. Impro4 pents: So now you've learned your seven motile scales. And just to remind you, this is all on C harmonica, if you do the whole thing on a D or an A or any or any of the others, this knowledge transfers and it gives you a much wider range, so we learn it on the one on. Then you can move it to the other. If you wish. Let's now convert the major scales or the modal scales that say into the Pentatonix. So Pentatonix fall into basically major or minor. Andi, these six out of these seven do exactly that on the last one is slightly different. I'll show you that in a moment. So see, Major, you miss out the F and the be So it's the 123 the 4th 56 and seventh notes off the major scale off the motile scale that gives you the pentatonic. So this one converse to this. I'm putting the extra note on top. The tonic note. So it's five notes plus the tonic note. So the D scale, uh, on the minor pentatonic. So you miss out the second note the e in this case 123456 on the sixth note B in this case . So now we have This same thing is true on the e scale as it turns into a pentatonic, you miss out the second on whether it's a 123456 2nd and sixth notes. So the e motile scale converts to any minor pentatonic. Uh uh. The F is a major pentatonic. So it goes from the f motile scale in F major pentatonic. So you miss out the 12 3/4 on dfars 6/7 notes as we do with all the major ones. It just turns into this, uh, the F major pentatonic. Um G is also major. So again, we miss out the fourth, 5 6/7 7th notes fourth and seventh. So G major starts out. But this is the motile scale. Uh uh, Miss those two notes out. We get this. Now, when we go to the next one, the a scale the a motile scale. Uh, and as that converts into the a minor pentatonic scale, we miss out the second 123456 2nd and six notes, as you do with all the minor Pentatonix, let me get this. Uh, on the B scale is the one that's slightly different because it is a B minor, flat five pentatonic. Well, just do the same things we do with the other minor pension. It's converting this motile be scale. We'll take out the second and sixth Theo, you get this beautiful blues e minor pentatonic flat five. So those are the things to learn those seven pentatonic scales loan those on it will serve you well in improvising. That's the assignment. Learn those. Okay, Go. You haven't gone you. You can do them up and down. You can extend it right across the harmonica. This works on any instruments. Well, so if you play piano or anything else guitar, learn them on your other instruments as well. There's the notes. Go get him 6. Impro5 C: So what do we put that into practice? Now let's use the C major pentatonic and you can vary between the C major scale of motile scale and the pentatonic, and you can use other things as well. But the what the Pentatonix do is they give you this beautiful pathway through the jungle. So if you use those notes, you will be right pretty much most of the time. It won't necessarily be the most fascinating thing in the world, but let's try it. We're gonna try it with La Bamba, which is usually played in the key of C. It's a major song to play these notes with me. This is the C major pentatonic. Start playing him in a few different orders. You play them long notes, short notes, you can play them an octave higher or lower. Yeah, uh, really? Doesn't matter. Onda. Let's try it. So I'm gonna put on leb amber and good luck. I'm just a little bit of playing and then I'll stop. No way in the 1st 3 notes. One more way . Keep going, Keep going. Keep going. I'm just saying C c d Good, okay, And you end up playing parts of the Tunas. Well, if you know the tune. So that's a bit of improvising in first position. See, Major? Now you could have chosen country music. Well, just anything, really. So, bluegrass, anything you like. No bluegrass. It tends to be mawr second positions. We might have a look at that. Okay, that's it. Try improvising in first position using your C major pentatonic. And, of course, if you were to pick up a B flat time on a girl like that and you do the same thing, same holes, let's not use that one. It's broken runners from my broken collection. I za d hop eyes. I'm now playing the same holes as I played for the C major pentatonic on the sea. Harp. This is a D harp. Guess which pentatonic I'm now playing. Yes, you guessed it, D major, uh, see how it transfers. Okay, practice that, Andi, you can give you the backing track for that when you can play along with it. Okay, Bye. For now. 7. Impro6 D: No, let's have a look. A the D minor pentatonic showy. So I'm going to use a tune called The Maids of Mitchell's Town are recorded. This at a session where I was playing in a recession are ish, ish in. So here's our minor pentatonic Theo suggested notes for improvising in third position D Minor on the Sea Harmonica. You can use other notes as well, of course, but this is just a suggestion. So why don't you just pause there and get familiar with this scale on? Then we'll crack into the tune to be it fast, but you don't have to play it fast. I'll start with joining in playing it, and then I'll leave it to you. I might come back and play the two and a bit later. You don't need to know the tune, but if you do, that's even better, Right? Here's comes this maids off Mitchell's town. There's a tonic note the oh, wait, I leave it to you for a minute. Way was that lovely? Easy to play along with this net. So any any fish music in D minor and some in D major, but mostly D minor. That's gonna work really well. So your third position D minor pentatonic is gonna work really well and you'll be able to just thunder around and every note will sound in the right place. Okay, practice that and use it. I'll give you this track as well. Okay. See you next time. 8. Impro7 E: Okay. Welcome back. Let's have a look at our e scale. Now. R E fridge in scale converts to the e minor pentatonic, which is what we're going to use right now. Uh, on this is a beautiful scale for playing very easy to play. It seems to, as the pianist say, it seems to fall under the fingers, doesn't it? So practice that little bit. You might want to pause here and prepare yourself for the tune that's coming up. I'm going to use the second track in this lovely album. Officially, Um, the It's the Helen Hillyard on Sumba with young guard Brick Andi. I think it absolutely gorgeous without favorite albums. And this is a bit of Gregorian chant and it's in e. So it's gonna work really well for us. Uh, Theo Theo thing The way Theo way Rothe is tell you I think they don't work, really. But used to say it's only my opinion. Somebody might really like that Discord. The's Fanta tonics are starting points. Theo Theo Way, way How different? It wasn't we were playing. The reggae in e sun is shining. Remember, Onda most blues is in e or a great deal of it because guitarists like to play in E. I think if you take a guitar out of a box and drop it on the ground, the sound you get is a court of E. So they like playing any so you could play this fifth position. He could play E blues on your C harmonica. Why not? That's fifth position. E minor pentatonic is the basis on. Then we're adding other notes in, so enjoy that you'll find that track on the Internet. I can't. I've got it on a CD here. I can't give it to you. It's called Primo Temporary, written by somebody called Anonymous. Enjoy it. 9. Impro7a E: Hi there. Let's do another one in the key because it sounded so great in it. This is Offer an album. Have you heard of these two? Jennifer and Hazel Wrigley. Who'd Roland? It's a lovely album. Lovely of, um, Jennifer and Hazel Wrigley on this track is called I'm how I was soon on, um, so again, you know, to be to start with way, way to go. If in doubt, just pray that he needs to get one night, right? - Way , way. There you go. How about that was infallibly. So you might want to get this album or least check out Jennifer and Hazel Wrigley don't make great. They're twins. Both of them on one place, the fiddle and a violin. And that's the same thing. I think Andi other plays the guitar and piano, which is not the same thing on both. Smile on their gigs almost from start to finish. In my experience, So cracking good pair of or KD ins. I believe there from Orkney and, um enjoy. So that's another one in fifth position. E minor pentatonic. Okay, See you next time 10. Impro8 F: Okay, lets lose. Let's leave some of the simpler ones behind. Let's get onto F now. And I have always found effort. We've it tricky. So if you look at the screen, you'll see on the left hand side the scale off. If, um Lydian Theo, that's down. Starting hole to draw double bend. If we started on 05 uh, on That's fine. We convert it lower down to our f major pentatonic Theo on, then starting it on whole five drawer. So that's the simple approach and that used as a basis for this tune which you're gonna play Georgia on my mind. Using that as a basis is fine. Let's just try that. So let's have a go. Can I have a girl with me now? Then? What about these things? - So what I've done so far is I've just played this Pentatonix condescended, all right? Didn't it hopefully have done the same thing on it? Sounded OK, but now what I'd like to do is to just show you a little bit more in depth. If you want it, you'll notice that the cords on chart here f Let's just look at the the letters to keep your honor a simple basis. If there's some kind of an F court, some kind of record, some kind of an a chord, a d chord, a G chord. Now these are all related two f. So not wildly outside. If even when you get to the bridge the be part, he is the relative minor. So it's, you know, it is somewhat within the family of cords, but it does. It can get a bit complicated. So let's try this time will take a little bit of a noticed off these chord names here, and you'll see the scales flashing up in this section. This is really for studying jazz, which we're not doing right now, but just have in mind that there's a bit more to it than the simple Pentatonix or they can be. You know, you could you could play beautifully with just the pentatonic. Okay, so go see what we can do, so you can see all right, major scales cropped up, which is, you know, all the notes of the the pension type pentatonic that we've been playing are in their f g a . Well, forget about that one gloss over that one see on de, so the pentatonic scales are in this major scale. But this is the major scholars. If Major is, it's got more information on more efficient than we need a moment. So have a go. Let's just let's just have a little go through it for that soul. Very interesting. Okay, so there's a huge amount that you can do with this. Shall I just leave it running and you have a little go it it will go from the top. So you you've got in mind the tune, which you might know. Georgia Judah the dirt. If you don't know the June, then just have a listen to Ray Charles singing it or anybody, Really, he's and he's a nice version on. Then use your pentatonic scale, as we have done in our very simple terms here. Use this and also used this Lydian mode on then have a just a little bit of an interest in these As they spring up on their notes. The cord notes, the alphabet notes. Let's have a go from the top. Surely, but what if you get it wrong? It's just playing, looking about. Here we go. Religion, mine, other I don't have to play all of this. Just the tonic notes if you want. Okay. G o the bridge. So Hey, hey, d Other arms Reach out. Do you think of the cheer back to me or something? Oh, Georgia. So we're not very smooth with it, but you can see the bones of it. Thats program I'm using here, by the way, is free. And it's called I really pro small I capital R E a l space Capital P R o. I really pro Andi. It's not bad. You can download lots of lots of tracks from the forums. It's all free of charge on and it's good. A little bit of practicing. So they go that's mucking around on using the scale off f. And next we'll do something on G. Okay, Hope you enjoyed that. 11. Impro9 G: Well, I've decided that I'm just gonna change the key of Georgia on my mind to the key of G is that puts us in second position rather than 12th position, which was F before. Now, some people love playing in 12th position. I'm not one of those people. Maybe you are. I don't know. So the same thing we've got over here, we've got our g mixedly in scale. Uh, that should be pretty comfortable Convert into the G major pentatonic. So practice those. If you don't know them already on, then we'll start looking at the tunes announcing G. So go G scale Here. It's actually the G major scale says not Mixer Lydian its major. So we're gonna have to bend our rules a little bit on Benson notes if we want to hit of those nose, um, he minor again? That's the relative minor. So this will become apparent. This is much more comfortable, in my opinion for this tune. So let's play it, shall we? Here we go, Georgia on my mind in G So for me, I'm learning that if this song comes up, I'm thinking second position suits me better And you're here that I can play it much better . So let me just take a moment and then I'll give you a shot of it. Oh, Theo Bridge. Theo, you can tell what? I'm getting it wrong, but it's much easier, isn't it? For me, you can hear it. It's much easier for me to play this some, whether I'm not really practiced and rehearsed it because we're just improvising here. We're trying not to practice and rehearse. What? I'm making it up as we go along, as we said the beginning. So So you watching me struggling with it, and now it's my turn to what you struggling. You knew that was coming, didn't you? All right, So grab your C harp, get your pentatonic scale of g ready, and then be prepared to be influenced by the tune and the other chords that come along. But most of these chords that you see in front of you actually contain the notes off the G major pentatonic Soto greater or lesser extent. So I think it's the best. If you had to pick one scale, then that's the one I would pig. And if you want to make lots of scales and look at the scales that come up on the chart. Right. Let's go. Are you ready? Yes, I hear you cry. Here we go. Break Reach out to God. Okay. Top again, Julia. Okay. What do you just sing now? Don't stop playing and just sing Improvised that I did it. Uh, they're todo can't get it wrong. Can you do the oh way, Way Dio dude, - todo dude. Okay, Beautiful. Aren't we good? We good at singing and playing. So one thing you can learn from this is singing is really good for learning to improvise on the harmonica. Singing is really good for learning toe Improvise on the harmonica or any of the instrument So grab some songs and sing them Sing, sing, sing And that's your assignment for this session. Sing Sing things. Okay. See you next time. Bye. For now 12. Impro10 A: So now we come to the key or the mode off A, which is third position last time. A second position. Don't forget, this is 3rd 4th and big upon fourth position number four, um, age way scale. It's basically like all of these. It's the scale of C. But starting on the note of a using the same notes of the scale of C and then you release a few of the notes to get your pentatonic. Uh, so you can play the whole thing on that if you like. Just on that pentatonic, the whole tune, Why don't you try it there? Here we go on. You can use some of the other notes in there, the whole of the scale of a a alien way. Since we know that it's basically the scale of C. What do you just used the notes of the scale to see Theo? Well, it does work, doesn't it? But it's a little bit render. We can probably do better than that. So just cast your eyes onto the scales that keep appearing on You can walk. Sure, we are over here with this thing way might even put the tune in a little bit if you know that you think I did a course on the chair in a while ago, - Theo way, Improvise notes. The route notes. Okay, it just means repeat the next ball. That pretty previous bar. Now I'm just not thinking at all way way ended on r A, which is always a good sign when you end on the note. The tonic note of the peace. So there's a good look, a little workout for you. That's an a minor work out. Um, a alien fourth position. It's a nice key to play in if you've got the right music for it, and Autumn leaves is very appropriate, so enjoy that. Have a practice with it. I'll give you the backing track that you've being playing along with here, and will them give you some time to play that on your own? Okay, enjoy. It's seen a bit 13. Impro11 B: how that Well, the last time I'm gonna look at in detail is playing in the key of B on a C harmonica, and you might think that's totally impossible. But actually, it's remarkably simple. Have look at the screen and you will see his R B two B scale starting on three drawer, three drawer four blow. It's the scale of C, basically, isn't it? There's the scale of C starting on C D E F G A B, and it has to be in front of it. So it goes from B to B. And then if you extract the two notes as usual, we have our B minor pentatonic. It's got a flat five. If it was going to be a proper minor pentatonic that F would have to be in f sharp and it isn't so, Never mind. So we've got this, which is a beautiful scale, isn't it? And thats gonna be the simplest way I'm looking at all the simplest ways of improvising on this is the example I'm going to use for this one is from this book Bones Off the Blues, which I wrote with Paul Lennon back in Cheapest. Look at that 2001. So that is 18 years ago. Oh, my goodness. Anyway, it's a really good book. You can get it from harmonica world dot net. You can download it and it's gonna be an e book as well at some point, so you can get this and play along. I'll give you one of the play along tracks. I'm not gonna teach you the tune right now, but you're welcome to learn it if you wish. Here's another view of the pentatonic scale in this book, by the way it goes through, uh, for, um, What is it? 4th 5th six, No. 3rd 4th 5th and six positions. So this this book might be a good addition to your learning, but it's entirely 100% blues on up to this point. We haven't done any blues at all in this course. I wanted to avoid that, but this is such a great example, and there's not very many examples off play alongs in the key of be what she can use to see harmonica for, So this is quite rare. That's why I had it specially made. So here's our pentatonic played with me three draw and you can stop here and practices and go over it. Here's the extension of it. Starting a seven drawer, hard to pitch that 10 blow single bend. Very hard to pitch it right that saw you need, I think. And I will then give you the the backing track for this piece of music on the I'll give it to you on the video right now. I also give it to use a separate stand alone MP three. Now, if you wanted to get rid of my playing, you just turn your volume control over. If you turn it to the right or to the left, you either lose the harmonica or the band so you can if you want to get rid of me entirely , and why wouldn't you? You are welcome to just alter the balance and you'll find that the harmonica part disappears. And then you're left with just a play along for the band. You can do that on pretty much all computers, I think. Probably on your phone as well. Um, yeah, that's it. So enjoy the track. Have a play along. Just jam along with it. So you've got D flat or C sharp? Let's just try that. The's decided to go down from the one drawer with a bend. So it's that scale, Theo Again, you could play that major or minor or major pentatonic minor pensione when you were e flat . These are all pretty tricky to play, so you could be improvising any flat if you wanted to f Sharp and G Flat Theo again. Major reminder. So if I want to play F sharp minor on the CIA, Monica, let's try that Theo fact that falls quite nicely under the fingers, so that's not quite so hard. Then you've got a flat G sharp, three drawer triple Ben to start with on that goes up to six drawer single bend thieves made. That's a flat major, but you could turn it into blues or whatever you want to do. On the last one. A sharp will be flat thanks from three drawer single. Bend up to six overblow. Uh uh. Okay. So if you want to use those to improvise with, you have to learn those scales and practice with them. Now all of this stuff is transferrable to other harmonicas, and then you end up if you've got if you got a piece in B flat that you want to improvise in major key to scale, Well, all these might be flat harmonica, then is much easier, right? I often find myself in a position where I've only got one harmonica with me on someone says , Oh, Ben will join in with this and I go, Oh, relief. What key is it in? So the first thing I knew witness what key on. Then I need to know what position to use so or what flavour. So I'm going to be trying to figure out. Is it major or minor? I might ask them. Is it in a particular mode? If they can tell me what mode it's in, then that's that's gonna help me work it all out. There are times when I just scope Now is too hard, but better one don't don't want to do that in public. If I had 12 harmonicas with me, then I could certainly play anything pretty much, I think, unless it's really complicated jazz and I cant. Although I've studied jazz on trumpet, I am really not very good at it. I can sort of bask it, but I'm not regular, so you learn all this on a C harmonic and then you transfer your knowledge. If you had a a piece to play, that was someone was playing in a flat or B flat or something. Then that's gonna be really tricky to play on the sea harmonica. So the in practical sense you might just go. Oh, well, I'll just grab a seat may be flat harmonic or on the a flat harmonica, so that would be an awful it easier to do. But we're not looking for the easy route on this course. We're trying to challenge yourselves, learn how to do it the hard way on. Then the easy way becomes much simpler. So at least you you gain a lot of knowledge about this. So that's it.
