When the weather turns cold here in japan, we say the season of “Nabe” has arrived. Nabe means “a pot” in Japanese but it’s also the name of a dish which contains soup with some sort of vegetable, fish, meat or seafood. Once the nabe is prepared,  the pot is brought to the table and eaten it while it is hot, in a self-serve style. It is a popular dish when the family gets together the New Year's holiday season.

In this class you will learn how to make the traditional nabe called "Yose Nabe", along with a bit of culture, tradition and other types of nabe.
