Project Description

Our project will be a dish cloth. The great part about this project is, if you make mistakes (which it turns out beginners at knitting usually do) then your dishes really won't care! The next best thing about this project is that it is quick and fun, and once you feel more comfortable knitting, you can make a bunch of these as gifts!

Project Details

Materials Needed:
- US Size 8 or 9 straight knitting needles
- 1 Ball (at least 50g) of Cotton yarn (any color but black)

[For my project I used Sprout 100% organic cotton yarn, purple (4331)]

Step 1: Cast On
Cast On 30 stitches.

Step 2: Knit Garter Stitch
Knit in Garter stitch until your dishcloth is the length you want or is an approximate square.

Step 3: Bind Off
Bind Off all stitches and weave in any ends if you want.

Your Project

Please upload pictures of your project - don't be shy! Also, if you get stuck and need some help, adding photos to your class project is a great way for me and others to give you feedback.
