About This Class

Kahoot is an online based tool, which allows you to create quizzes, jumbles (where students place answers in the correct order rather than selecting a single correct answer), discussions or surveys.  Kahoot is game based, and the real time response system allows your students to answer multiple choice questions, usually displayed on a projector screen, which have been setup by the teacher.

Students are able to respond to questions using a smartphone, computer, or tablet device, and because Kahoot is web based, it will work on any operating system that has a web browser.

The players have up to 4 buttons to select the answer from and must answer the questions displayed by pressing one of them. Correct answers earn points up to 100 per question, based on time. At the end of each question, leader board is displayed, showing the current rankings of the top 5 players, organised by name and points.

Kahoot consists of two websites. One is the host site, and the other is the site people use to actually play the quizzes,

in this class, i shall sow learners how to setup and configure the 4 main types of Kahoot - Quizzes, Surveys, Discussions and Jumbles.

Ill also show learners how to publish and share Kahoots, and offfer several tips and tricks on presenting Kahoot games.

Towards the end of the class, in the examples class, ill show learners several real world examples of Kahoots, and teach learners how to share and duplicate Kahoot games.
