Project Description

Share how you're collaborating with artists.

Assignment

Level 1: Share a tip for how you control a recording session and work with artists. It could be as simple as a topic of conversation or an arrangement of furniture in the room.

Level 2 (optional but encouraged!): Create a track for an artist to reference. It should have the basic elements that will give them an idea of the vibe and direction of the song, and then you can really build on the track once the artist provides the vocals.

Deliverable

  • Share a written tip in your class project space
  • Upload a Soundcloud file or link to an audio file featuring your track (optional)
  • Get feedback from your classmates and comment on others' work
