About This Class

In this class I'm going to guide you through the sculpting of a complex character.
I picked a mantis, but the class will help you to figure out how to sculpt an insect from the idea to the finish artwork.
It is not a difficult class and beginners can absolutely try it out, however it is a long sculpt to do and not something you can make in an hour, so patience is absolutely needed.

I hope this inspires you to tackle more complex sculpting project and just give it a go.
Don't worry too much about the outcome, to become a better sculptor you need to practice a lot.

Very detailed class, as always. The sculpture is very cute, although absolute beginners might struggle with creating their own mantis. That being said the class is thorough enough that anyone can follow along and have a go! As I am not a huge fan of mantis' I don't know when, or if, I will create my own but I did pick up lots of interesting techniques that I can use in my own sculpting. I definitely recommend this class, even if you aren't interested in making your own mantis.
