Project Description

Take full control of your exposure - Switch to Manual mode and shoot a BETTER PHOTO!

Using the exposure skills you'll learn on this course, upload two photos....

1. With your camera set on automatic find a scene, or subject that 'fools' the camera into giving you an incorrect exposure (either too dark, or too light)

2. Shoot the same scene or subject, but this time using your knowledge of 'manual' exposure settings. You're in full control with this image so it should prove that you can produce a better photo than the camera's automatic settings.  Your final image, without any post production work, should show a better range of tones and color saturation than your first photo.

Bonus assignment...

Shoot the same scene again - still using manual mode - but this time, use your new 'white balance' settings knowledge to see if you can improve your photo even more - or perhaps add more 'mood' or 'drama' by using a different setting.
