About This Class

In this class I will show you how to composite a fashion style photograph onto a computer generated abstract background using Lightroom and Photoshop.

This course can be helpful to beginner and intermediate students.

You will learn:

  • How to properly isolate the model from its original background;
  • Lighting the shot to match the background;
  • How to retain original shadows and reflections using the 50% gray technique;
  • Image retouching and compositing techniques;
  • Color correction and colorization;

Photographer, Retoucher and 3D Artist

Fascinated with aesthetics and passionate about visual arts, Ciprian Pascu known as YAN (born in 1990, in Sibiu, Romania) discovers his passion for photography the moment he buys his first digital camera. Self-taught and ambitious, YAN begun to build his portfolio at the age of 20. In 2008, he starts working as a full time art director and photographer. In 2012 he started teaching Photoshop. Currently, YAN started working in CGI (computer generated images) and constantly working to expand his portfolio, producing visually appealing photographs that reflect a very good technique, while also maintaining simplicity.
