Project Description

Our class project will be the creation of a vector based character!

You'll need:

- Pencil and paper, and a rubber, to sketch your character

- A drawing of a character to import ( be creative, but check the samples if needed!)

- A scanner, a camera or a cellphone with a camera

- Affinity Designer or another vector based illustration software

You'll learn:

- How to trace any drawing you create, based on simple techniques

- How to use layers and tone coloring in your vector illustrations

- How to add details that can make your illustration stand out from the crowd

- How to use textures to improve the overall illustration and give it that  "Wow" factor.
