Project Description

Design your own icon set!

Whether you’re inspired by your favorite movies, books, animals, or even food, create a series of icons and upload them to the project gallery! We’d love to see your concepting and sketching process, how you honed in on your color palette, and specific challenges you solved along the way. Things to keep in mind:

  • How are you filling negative space around your main icon image?
  • What rules did you establish for your series? Did you break them to ensure your subject was recognizable?
  • Which icon was the simplest to design? Which was the most complex?
  • Do any of your colors do “double duty” — like metal and water in DKNG’s series?

Share your project in the project gallery, no matter what stage of the project you’re in. We can’t wait to see what you make!
