1. Introduction: From the moment we open our eyes to start a new day, we are all exposed to thousands and millions of different types of visual cues. Whether it be on dot dining table, while having breakfast, getting ready for the work, traveling out or hanging around fit friends or family in the shopping mall or metro station. Anywhere as you go, you will find these amazing iconic kills staring at you, seeking your attention and trying to tell a wonderful story or communicates something can be very helpful. I'm a spawn yourself and I am graphic designer and illustrator. Since last one decade. This class is all about icons and how they interact with us in everyday life. And you will learn my process of creating icons inside Adobe Illustrator. You will also learn how the icons impact our everyday life and our buying decisions. So during the design process, we freely need to put our best attention to details on every single aspect of icon. In this course, we will specifically working on the icon through a letter to website design, mobile application design and software design. And we will have our deep dive understanding of the proper usage of icons and when, where, and why do we use specific style of icons in a given scenario? So where are you waiting for? Get yourself enrolled into this course? And together, let's explore the beautiful world or visual communication through the lens of icon design. 2. Quick Overview: Hi everyone. First of all, I really appreciate all of you to enroll for this course. So before we jump right into the glass, first thing we need to do is understand the types of icon. So aesthetically there are different types of icons. For example, the solid style icons, line art style icons or outline style icons, colored items, gradient icons, multiple style icons. And the list goes on and on. But for discourse, we are going to learn two kinds. Solid psi lichens and line art styling. And from start to learn where we go through the process of creating the structure of icon inside Adobe Illustrator, using the shapes and the form all the way to the final render. The software that we will be using for this class project is Adobe Illustrator. But if you want to use our different software, for example, Affinity Designer or Inkscape, you can do that as well. The process is pretty much similar, but maybe the tools that I will be using inside illustrator may vary from one software to another and maybe their techniques will be different. So I highly recommend to use Adobe Illustrator for this course. So let's go ahead and start the basic structure and process of ICANN designing inside Adobe Illustrator. See you in the class. 3. Basic Guide for Icon Design - Icon Grid: Hi everyone, welcome to the class. In this class we will be learning about the basic structure. So before we start designing process, first thing we need to understand and learn is the basic structure on top of which we will be later constructing our items. Everything we create in the word needs a proper direction and a blueprint that needs to be followed to create the whole design in a well organized manner and a proper fission. Same is the case. Icon design so that we can keep the whole structure in balance and visually intact. As you can see here on my screen, the guide is created in a way with balanced amount of lines, boxes, and circles to help identify the basic shapes that will be later going to be placed to design the icon with the complete visual palace. For example, if I several basic shapes on top of this guide to create an icon, it will be more easy for me to bellows out the proper positioning of the shapes instead of just throwing them around at random places on the art board. To illustrate this example, let me just create the home icon design for you so that you can understand the whole process in more detail. So let's start off by grabbing the Rectangle tool from the toolbar. And on top of this guide will start adding ships to create the icon. As you can see in this shape, does center of the shape is occupied by the fill white color. So we need to get rid of this white color. And in order to do that, we will go to this panel where we will just delete the white area by clicking on the white. And then we will select this None icon. And by doing that, the white area will be gone. So once we get rid off our white area from the screen, we can see that there is empty space inside that white ADR. Now, what we need to do next is that we will bring the stroke on the top. And then what we need to do is we need to increase our stroke size or our outline size so that the thickness of the icon is a little bit more than the one we have now. So in order to do that, we will just select the whole shape that we have just created. And then we will go to the Stroke option at the top. And from there, we will increase the value up to nine. So as you can see that as I increase the value of the outline, this looks much better. So now I will just go ahead and start adding more shapes to my icon so that we can complete our design. As you can see, my icon shapes are perfectly aligned. Guide me to create a well-structured icon. Now, using the shape builder tool from the Pathfinder window, I will go ahead and just delete the extra areas inside my shape and complete my icon. So as you can see our hair, we have created a home icon design with a complete visual balance. The reason to follow and I can guide during the design process is to keep all the icons in our group or set to keep same visual hierarchy, especially in case of designing of mobile application or a website, so that all the icons seem to be belonging to one same family. Now let's go ahead and create one more icon so that you can understand how the weight and visual balance is made consistent inside one team to keep look of whole icon set similar. And in order to do that, I will just go ahead and duplicate my art board. And then I will start creating my icon on the new art boards so that we can see the comparison between both the icons and how the visual balance created between these two items. And for this example, I would like to create the search icon. So let's go ahead and delete the previous cycle that we created. And then let's start creating done new icon. In order to create the search icon, I will go ahead and select the ellipse tool and start designing the basic shapes. Once I have created the ellipse or circle, I will go ahead and adjusted according to the guide. And then I will select the Line Segment tool. And using the line segment tool, I will create a line. And once I'm happy with the size and adjustments of the icon, we can see the comparison between the widths and style and the aesthetics of both of these icons looks aesthetically and thematically similar. So that is the goal of creating an icon set. So this was the initial introduction about I can designing and the Eigen guide. In case you need the icon guide project file for the practice of your project. You can download the file from the description. Now let's go ahead in the next class and we will design the complete icon sets in solid and our lifestyles. See you in the next class. 4. Email Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we will start designing the envelop or email icon. So let's grab the rectangle tool from your toolbar and then start designing our rectangle from the center of your art board. And I will design it all the way up towards DHAP. And one thing I need to do is I will go ahead and decrease the opacity of my icon grid. So you can see they're clearly. Now I will go ahead and decrease the height of the rectangle using our direct selection tool. And then increase DA stroke or outline size and make the corners of the rectangle a little bit smooth or rounded. Now, let's create a duplicate copy of this rectangle and move direct dangle towards the bottom of the artboard. And now I will go ahead and using the pen tool, I will add a point in the center of the bottom of the rectangle and decrease the height of the rectangle more towards the top. Once I have added this point, I will select the point and move it towards the bottom so that I can have this kind of shape. Now I will go ahead and decrease the height a little bit towards the bottom until I am happy with the shape and placement of the upper part of the icon. Once I'm happy with all the adjustments inside the upper part of the Eigen. I will go ahead and start making adjustments for the lower part of the icon. And in order to do that, I will increase the height of the rectangle towards the top of the artboard. As I can see that it matches the envelop properly. And I will repeat that process for the bottom of the rectangle to make the height in the proper placement and proper position. Now, using the pen tool, I will add the point at the same position on the top of the rectangle as I did before for the previous rectangle. And now I will select this point and move it towards the bottom and align it with the lower part of the rectangle. And now I will go ahead and select the Line Segment tool from our tools and start creating a line from the bottom towards the center of the artboard. And now I will go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this line. Andrew words.py transformation of the line using dot transform selection tool. And now I will add just the edge of this line with the corner of a rectangle. And now here I can see that my icon is ready. I will select it and group all the lines and shapes into one single group and make sure that deposition is perfectly aligned with the icon grid. So finally, our email icon is ready in line art style. Now we'll go ahead and create this icon in the fill or solid style. And in order to do that, we'll go ahead and create a duplicate copy of our art board. So once you have created the icon inside the line art style, converting it into fill or solid style is really easy and symbol. So first of all, I will create a backup copy of the icon so that if I mess up anything in the process, I can go back and choose Double backup copy. And now I will select the whole icon and go to the objects menu. From there I will select Expand option, and from this pop-up I will hit okay, and now from the Pathfinder window, I will select Unite option in the shape morphs. And it will convert my Eigen into fill. And I will select our first corner and hit delete. As soon as I hit Delete on my keyboard, you can see the whole icon is converted into fill. And now I will go ahead and select the icon and edges, the edges and corners of the icon according to the icon. Great. So now as you can see that our icon in Phil and line art style is ready. And now we'll go ahead in the next classes and create more icons using the same strategy. See you in the next class. 5. Messenger Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to learn how to create the messenger icon. So let's go ahead and get started. So as we have done before, we'll go ahead and select rectangle icon. And from here inside our art board, we will start creating different rectangles. So one thing we need to make sure that while we are designing all the stuff, the background guide is locked and the opacity is a little bit low. So I will go ahead and do that. So now my opacity of ICANN guide is a little bit better. And now I will start creating the basic shapes. And choosing those basic shapes, I will create the icon. Now I will create one more rectangle. And now I will move the point or corner of this rectangle towards the edge using the direct selection tool. So once we have achieved this kind of shape, what we will do is we can choose the Shape Builder tool to join both of these shapes that we have created. I will select the whole shape and go to the Pathfinder window. And over there, as you can see, we have shape modes. And in this, I will select this option that says Unite. And I will click on this. And now as you can see that the whole shape has combined in one single shape. So now I will just go ahead and make the corners of the whole shape around it. In order to do that, I will just select the corners one by one. And using this small point, I will just drag them inside. And as you can see, as I'm moving them inside, they are getting rounded. And that's how we do it. Now I will select this whole shape and make the outline of this shape a little bit bigger. I will go to strokes, and from there I will select 9. I think this is good enough. And from the Stroke option, I will make the stroke inside using the second option. So from here now I will go ahead and create our duplicate copy of this whole icon and bring them on the other side. And now I will flip the whole icon. I will right-click and go to transform. And from here I will select reflect. That will flip the orientation of the icon. I will move the whole icon a little bit towards the down. And just make sure that the whole icon aligns with the background of this whole icon grid so that it's side-by-side in a perfect position. Now one thing I will notice is that the side of this Eigen is a little bit outwards from the whole icon grade. So I will just make sure that I select both of these icons and make them inside this grid. So I will select all of them, and then I will bring them inside. So by decreasing their size, I have adjusted them inside the icon guide. Now I will just go ahead and make some more adjustments inside the Eigen guide. So once I'm happy with these adjustments, one thing I can do is I can just combine these two icons so that they look a little bit better. So in order to do that, what I'll do is bring that edges of this icon that is above, towards the other side. And scale this icon as well towards this left side. So let's go ahead and do that. Now you can see that both of these icons are coinciding with each other. So what I need to do is just cut out one of the icon that is at the back. So I will go ahead and choosing the bend tool. I will cut out the edge of one icon. So I will select this icon and zoom in a little bit. And then using the pen tool, I will add a point over here and just cut the other extra areas. As you can see, I have added two points on the edges. And now I will select Other points, and then I will just delete them. Now I will select dark corners of the whole design and make the edges rounded. Now I will go ahead and add the lines inside the other part of the icon. And I will use this line segment tool in order to design that. And I will make three copies of this line. And once you have done there, just make sure that the overall alignment of these lines is properly adjusted according to the whole icon. Now I will just go ahead and create the same three lines inside the other part of this icon. So now I will just duplicate these three lines and bring them over the other side. So the line art style icon is ready. Now I will go ahead and create the duplicate copy of this design and redesign it into the fillStyle. So in order to do that, I will just go ahead and create a duplicate copy of my artboard. So in order to achieve the fillStyle, what I will do first is that I will go ahead and expand the whole artwork. And in order to do that, I will go to the objects menu and go to Expand Appearance. And once again, I will go to Object menu and select Expand. So you can see this kind of popup is appeared. And from here we will select, Okay. And now my whole artwork is completely expanded. I will just go ahead and create a duplicate copy for the backup of this design. Now first of all, I will create the fillStyle of the first icon that is on the front, and then I will make some adjustments in the backside of the icon. Let's go ahead and do that. First of all, I will select the inner points of one of these icon and then delete that. By pressing delete two times, I can delete the whole inside part of the icon. And then I will select the whole design. And now I will make use of shape builder tool to delete the inner parts or the inner lines of this icon. And to do that, first of all, I will select the whole icon. And then I will press Shift M on my keyboard. And then I will hold Alt on my keyboard and just hover my mouse over these lines. As you can see, I hover my mouse on to these lines. The inner part of the design is automatically deleted. So now you can see that the first part of our icon design is complete, and we have completely designed the icon in the fillStyle. And now I will go ahead and create the fill part of the backside of my icon. And in order to do that, I will select the Pen tool. And I will create a line from this edge towards the other open edge of this icon. And one thing I need to make sure that while I'm doing that, I have to follow the edge of the previous icon. Now I will just go ahead and align the corners of these lines. And now I will just make the corner of this part a little bit rounded, just like the one I have here. Once I have created this kind of shape. Now I will go ahead and expand this stroke outline. So as you can see that my whole design is created, but these lines are intersecting with the external outline. So I will just go ahead and get rid of these lines. So once I have created the whole shape, I will go ahead and create the fill part. And to do that first, I will join the external outlines and combine them into one single shape. And now I will delete the inner areas. And now I will repeat the same process as I have done before for this previous icon. Before you do that, just make sure that all the lines inside our air dot proper position. Now, using the shape builder tool, I will just delete the lines that are lying their insight. So now you can see that we have created the icon inside the fill style as well. Let's go ahead and see you in the next class. 6. Edit Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class, we will learn how to create edit icon, in which we will be making our pencil and a page that will be showing the edit icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So in order to start making the edit icon, first, we will create our rectangle. And from here, we are going to create a rectangle. And just make sure that the height of the rectangle is according to the height of ICANN guide. And now I will increase the stroke size and make the corners smoother and rounded. Now, I will increase the width of this rectangle. And now I will duplicate this rectangle to create the pencil. All right, so these two rectangles will be used inside the hole, can design. So first of all, we will complete the page part, and then we will move on to the editing of the pencil. So I will just zoom in on one corner of this page and I will design one more rectangle or hair. One thing I just need to make sure that both edges and corners of these two rectangles has to be aligned with each other on both sides. And then I will just cut the side and corner of this rectangle. So now I have GOT edge of this rectangle. Now I will go ahead and cut edge of the other bigger rectangle so that it will be shown as that page is flipped. So in order to do that, I will isolate this rectangle and then I will create our diagonal line. Now, I will select both of these shapes, and then I will just cut out the extra external area. And to do that, I will make use of the Shape Builder tool. So this is the kind of shape that I want. So I will now just make adjustments of the corners according to the Eigen guide. You just have to make sure that the corners are aligned with the Eigen guide at every place. So this seems good. Now, I will continue and add just this corner part that is just folded around the area. So here we have the basic structure of our page. Now we will go ahead and add lines inside that page to show text. In order to do that, I will just simply go to this line segment tool. And using the line segment tool, I will start adding lines inside this rectangle. So here we are with our page icon that is ready. Now, we will go ahead and make adjustments to our pencil icon and start adding some more shapes to complete it. So first of all, we will add just the height of this rectangle from the bottom. And now our hair, we will add one more rectangle to make that tip of the pencil. Once we have adjusted the height of direct tangle over here at the bottom, we will create one more rectangle. Or maybe you can also duplicate this rectangle and adjust its height. So now we have converted this rectangle into that triangle to make dot tip of the pencil will go ahead and adjust the upper area of the pencil to create the edges. We will select the Line Segment tool and then add some lines over here. And now we will select the upper area of this rectangle and just make a rounded. So here is our final copy of the design of icon. Now we will just make a backup copy of this design because we will need to add just a little more details inside this icon so that we have the final design. So I will just go ahead and make that duplicated copy and bring it to the other side. And now I will select the whole artwork. And from the objects menu I will go ahead and select the option that says Expand Appearance. And now one more time I will go to objects menu. And from here I will select this Expand option. Now you can see this popup and our hair. I will have to make sure that the fill and the stroke option is selected and I will hit okay. And when I hit Okay, all the lines are converted to the fill. So now I can make more adjustments inside my design. So now I will the bottom part. And one thing, I just need to make sure that the strokes are pretty much fine. So I will just go ahead and select the lawyer do corners, and I will just bring them down. So now you can see that our line is properly adjusted. One more thing I just need to do is that I will add one more line or hair so that I have the tip of the pencil properly adjusted. So I will just select the Line Segment tool and draw a line over here. And now I will just expand this line. And I will bring it down according to my icon guide. So now my pencil design and my page design and my whole icon design of edit is ready. Now I will go ahead and group both of these individually into their individual groups. And now we will go ahead and create the fill icon. So let's duplicate our art board. And now for this icon, we will also make one more duplicate copy so that if we mess up anything, we have something for backup. And now we will just go ahead and ungroup the whole icon. And now we just need do is unite all of these shapes separately. We'll select both of these shapes that are coincide with each other. And then we will unite them inside the bottle either do. And now we will select all of these lines and we will press Control 8 on our keyboard. This will convert all of these lines in a compound object. And now if you will click on one single line, it will select all the lines together. So this is one single object now. So the next step, what do you need to do is issue will select one single corner from the whole icon and press Delete twice on your keyboard. And now you can see that we have this kind of shapes achieved. And now what you need to do is, first of all, you will select the whole design and then you will make a few adjustments. So first I just meant what you need to do is make sure that the whole design is properly aligned with these icon guides on top and on the site. So first of all, we will select the upper area and adjust it with ICANN guide. And now we will make adjustments in the bottom. And now we will just make adjustments from right and left side. So after adjustment of all the sides, we will have to adjust corner page fault as well. So we will select it individually and just increase the size and align it with the Eigen guide. So now you can see that our complete icon of the page is in proper position and in proper alignment. So what you need to do is now just delete the inner areas. So in order to do that, I will select the Shape Builder tool. And by pressing and holding Alt on my keyboard, I will just drag my cursor on these lines. So now you can see that my lines are deleted and now it's just an empty ADI inside. And now my page design is ready. Now, I will go ahead and do the same for my pencil icon. So for this part we will have to use a little bit different strategy because we have different lines that are going through the whole shape. So first of all, I will just go ahead and select all the shapes inside and increase their width. Now I will just go ahead and select my whole shape and delete inner emptiness inside this old ship. And to do that, I will just make use of shape builder tool. So you can see that I have this kind of shape over here now. And now I will just go ahead and select the whole ship. And now I will just delete these extra lines. So now you can see that my whole icon design is ready. I will just get rid of extra shapes outside my art board. So now I will just group everything together in their separate groups. So now you can see that our edit icon is ready. I will see you in the next class. 7. Contacts Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the gloss. In this class, we are going to design the contexts icon in which we will be creating contexts diary. So maybe you have some contexts inside your list. So that is going to be shown in this icon design. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first thing you need to do is you will select the rectangle tool. And now we will create our rectangle on our art board. Just make sure that the rectangle is properly aligned with the Eigen Guide. Now, we will just decrease the width of the rectangle dual towards the inside of this whole icon guide. Before that, we will just increase the stroke size of this whole rectangle. And now we will just start creating some rectangles on the outside of this icon guide. And now we will just create some duplicate copies of this rectangle towards the bottom. Just need to make sure that all of these rectangles must be properly aligned. So we will select all of them and align with each other. So now we will go ahead and adjust the width of this bigger rectangle so that it is in the center of these rectangles. And now we will go ahead and adjust the width of these rectangles so that this is not very white. So now when I am happy with the whole picture, we'll go ahead and start creating the inner areas of this rectangle. Now when we are happy with the whole picture, we'll just go ahead and create our duplicate copy of this design and start creating the inner design. So first of all, we'll select the ellipse tool from our tools. And now I will just make an ellipse over here. So now I will just make that duplicate copy of this ellipse. And I will move it towards the bottom. And what we need to do is make the profile icon. So in order to do that, just need to make sure that the upper ellipse is smaller and elifs that is below should have bigger size. So we will just go ahead and we will decrease the size of the upper ellipse. And now I will just go ahead and delete the last point of the lower ellipse. And as I hit Delete on my keyboard, you can see I have achieved this kind of shape. Now, I will just go ahead and move the circle a little bit towards the bottom. And I will select both of these points. And I will move them towards bottom with these Eigen guide. So my profile icon is ready. I will just group it together into one single group. Now I will just go ahead and select my line segment tool from dual menu. And now I will create two or three lines. In the bottom of my profile icon. I will just make adjustments of the width of a bottom two lines. Now our line art style design is ready. We'll go ahead and start creating the fill icon design. Let's go ahead and create a duplicate of our artboard to create the filled design style of our icon. And now I will just keep a duplicate copy of my icon on the side of my art board so that I have this as our backup. And now I will start designing my icon. And in order to do that, first of all, I will just select my icon. And then I will go to my objects menu. And then from here I will select Expand Appearance option. And now I will go to objects menu once again. And from there I will select Expand option. Once. I can see this expand pop-up window, I will click on, okay. And now all of my shapes are expended. And what I need to do is I will select all of the side rectangles. And then I will group them together into one single group. And then once I have this group inside my icon group, what I will do, I will create a duplicate copy of this group. And now I will lock this layer and hide it for a little while. So now what I need to do, I will select all of these corners of these rectangles. And on my keyboard, I will select and press Delete 2 times until I can achieve this kind of shape. Now, I will go ahead and delete the inner area of my rectangle. Using the direct selection tool, I will select one corner and press delete so that I can get rid of the inner area. Now, what I will do is I will select all the shapes on my icon. And then I will select deleting the external areas of my design using the shape builder tool. So now we are left with this kind of shape. Now we will go ahead and turn on our layer once again. You can see that we have achieved this kind of look. So now what we need to do is we will select all of these rectangles. So now what we need to do is that we will select the whole shape and then we will delete the inner areas using the shape builder tool. So after getting rid of all the shapes inside the Eigen, we will achieve this kind of look. So now we will go ahead and delete inner areas of these rectangles as well. One by one, we will select all the corners. And then we will hit Delete on our keyboard. Now you can see that our fill icon design is ready as well. We will select all of the shapes into one single group, and we are ready with our icon. Lets see you in the next class. 8. Folder Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to design the folder icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So as usual, we will go ahead and select our rectangle tool. And now we'll create direct angle on our art board. So I will create the rectangle edge to edge on the artboard. Make sure that the edges of the rectangle are aligned properly with the icon guide. So let's go ahead and zoom in and just check everything is on the right place. So yeah, the everything is on the right place. Now let's go ahead and increase the stroke size of the rectangle. Now I will just go ahead and decrease the height of this rectangle. Now or here, I will add one more rectangle. And now we will align the lower bottom of this rectangle with the main rectangle. Once we've done that, we will align the corners of the rectangle with the Eigen guides. So here we are aligned corners properly and we will just go ahead and check that. All right, so everything is on the right place. And now what we will do is we will go ahead and we will combine both of these shapes. First of all, I will create a duplicate copy of this shape and reposition it on the other side. Now I will select both of these ships. And for my Pathfinder window, I will select the Unite option. And now I will just go ahead and select the corners. And I will make them rounded slightly. And now I will go ahead and make rounded this shape as well. And first of all, I will place that over here. Then I will select the corner and make it rounded. Now I will just go ahead and add just the sides with the edges of the main shape. And I will just delete one side. So now you can see that my folder icon in line art style is ready. Now we will go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this art board to create the fillStyle of the same icon. So in order to do that, first thing I'll do is I will select my folder and I will keep a backup copy. And then I will go ahead and expand the whole artwork. So now as usual, what I will do is I will select the design and then I will go ahead and delete one corner. And by pressing the Delete 2 times on my keyboard, it will delete the whole area inside. And now I want to achieve this shape as well in the fillStyle. So what I will do is I will create a duplicate copy of this shape and bring it a little bit at distance from the original shape. Just like that. And I will increase the path of this one. Now I will just move this shape a little bit towards DHAP. And now I will select both of these shapes. And using the shape builder tool, I will delete the extra area. So now you can see that I have achieved this kind of Luke, that is the film look of this folder. And now I will just go ahead and adjust the positioning of this part over here. And if I zoom out from my art board a little bit, you can see that the icon is ready. You can group all the shapes together into one single group. So both of our icons for the folders are ready. I will see you in the next class. 9. Breifcase Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to create briefcase icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first thing first, we will create our rectangle. Just make sure they're direct angle is properly aligned with the icon grid. Why? We will be keeping the stroke size ticker. And now we will increase the height of this rectangle towards the bottom. Now, we are going to make the rounded corners of this rectangle will select the whole shape and go to this corners option. And our hair will add some more points. This is cold enough, and now we'll create a line segment inside the icon. And now we will decrease the height of these blue lines. So this is the best point where we can keep this. And now we will just go ahead and make one more rectangle. We can also duplicate this rectangle and decrease the height of this rectangle. Now we will go ahead and select this rectangle and remove the corners from the bottom edges. And now what we'll do is we will bring these corners inside and align them, lid these lines. Just make sure that when you align them, they have to be on the proper place. And now we will select both of these corners and round them once again. So what we need to do is we will bring these two lines inside and reposition them. So now there seems to be on the beggar placement. Now we can increase these corners roundness a little bit more. We can increase them 35 points. And now what we're going to do is that we will add buckle or here by using the rectangle tool. And again, we will increase dark corners. And now what we are going to do is we will create a handle on that drop off the briefcase. In order to do that, we can also duplicate this shape on the top and we'll rotate it and increased our wet knows like the upper corners and round them a little bit more. If this looks better to you, you can keep it as it is. Otherwise, you're going to decrease the handle height a little bit more. Now I will increase the stroke size of these two shapes a little bit more. If I feel like that, they look smarter than I will keep them as it is. And I will do the same for these two lines. So you can see that with the variations of strokes, this looks really bad. Grow. We can do the same for the external line. So now as you can see that our design is ready. We'll go ahead and create the fillStyle of this design in the new art board. First of all, you will group all of this. And then we'll create a new artboard or duplicate this one. Now we'll create our duplicate copy of this for backup. And now we will expand this artwork. Now. We'll delete the inner areas and make it just like that. And now we will select the whole design and we will just get rid of in our lines. So now just we need to make sure that everything is on the right item guide. So after checking everything on the right position, our design, we can see it's ready. We'll select everything and group them together into one single group. One last stage that you can do, or here is that you can select both of these corners and round them a little bit so that everything looks smoother. So now we are good to go. As you can see, that our design in line art style and fill style is ready. Now, I will see you in the next class with our new icon design. 10. Settings Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to create settings icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first of all, I will select the ellipse icon for my tools. And now I will create a circle in the center of my art board. Just make sure that the circle is properly aligned with the Eigen guide. Now I will increase the stroke size. And now I will create a duplicate copy of this circle and decrease the size of the circle. Now in the next step, what I'm going to do is I will create our rectangle on that dog of my guide. So from the toolbar I will select our rectangle, and then I will create our rectangle here. Now I will create a duplicate copy of this rectangle and bring that on the bottom. And now I will just group both of these rectangles and create a duplicate copy of this group. After creating a duplicate copy of this group, I will rotate it on the angle of 90. Now, I will group this and this group together. And then I will create a duplicate copy of this group. And then I will rotate this group towards the angle of 45. So now you can see that we have achieved this kind of look. Now what we are going to do is we will select this circle and we will create our duplicate copy of the circle. And then we are going to increase the size of that circle. So this is a size that we want to achieve. Now, what we are going to do is that we will select all the shapes in this art board instead of just these two circle that are inside. So now what we are going to do is we will issue night all these shapes together. So in order to do that, we will go to this spot finder window, and from there we will select the first option. Now you can see that as I hit the first option, we have achieved this kind of coke of real effect. So this is the kind of shape that we are going to create. And now we will be making some adjustments inside this shape. So first of all, I will select my direct selection tool and then I will randomly select these points. All right, so I have selected these points. Now what I'm going to do is I will just make the corners rounded. And now what I'm going to do is I will do the same process for external corners. So I will select them one by 1 first. And then I will make the corners rounded, something like that. So now my icon is ready. So now I will go ahead and create this Eigen in fillStyle. So in order to do that, I will create the duplicate copy of this art board. And now I will keep duplicate copy of this whole icon on the side of my art board to keep up their cup. And now I'm going to select this icon. And from the objects menu, I will go ahead and expand the artwork. And I will do that one more time from the Expand option. And now I will go ahead and select one of the points from the inside of this artwork. And delete this from the inside. Now I will select the whole artwork and then I will go ahead and delete the internal circles using the Shape Builder tool. So now as you can see that my icon in the fillStyle and line art style is ready. I will see you in the next class. 11. Delete Trash Icon Design: Hi everyone. In this class we are going to create the delete icon. So first of all, we will select this rectangle tool. And then from the bottom of the screen or from the center of the screen, we are going to create our rectangle. And now we will add just the height of the rectangle towards so boredom. I think that the width of this rectangle is less, so I would just increase it. And now I will create a duplicate copy of this rectangle and degrees style width. And now I will select this wider a rectangle and decrease the height of this rectangle. And now I will select the whole artwork and increase the stroke size. Now I will go ahead and make a duplicate copy of the rectangle. And I will join both of these rectangles. So now you can see that we have this kind of shape. Now we will go ahead and increase the height of this rectangle as well. First of all, we will place this rectangle over here in this position, and then we'll start increasing the height of the rectangle towards DHAP. Now we will add a handle of the bin on the top. So in order to do that, what we are going to do is we will make use of pen tool. And by selecting the pen tool, we will create a line segment. Just like that. And now we will duplicate this line segment and we will flip this shape. And now we will combine both of these shapes together. We should check if the scan we decreased. So we'll go ahead and dig raised above it off this handle. So this is the best bot where we can place our handle. And now we'll go ahead and just read from this side. So now this looks good. Now we will make the corners rounded. Now our basic icon is ready. We will go ahead and add some details. So in order to do that, we will select our line segment two. And in the center of our bin we will create some lines. And now we'll create that duplicate copies of these lines. So this is the Eigen that we want to create. Or now in the final step, what we are going to do is that we will select all of these lines and then we will make the edges of the lines around it. That's looks really great. Now we'll select all the shapes and we will group them together into one single group. So our line art style, like an S ready, we'll go ahead and create a duplicate copy of the whole art board and start creating the fill I can style. So as usual, we will create a backup copy of this artwork. And we'll bring it outside the art board. And now we'll select our artwork and then we will expand our artwork. So first thing first, we are going to delete the internal points. So first of all, we'll select the artwork and then we will delete all these points using the shape builder tool. Will select the Shape Builder tool and start deleting these points. And now in the next step we are going to delete the internal areas of upper point as well. So this is the final shape that we have achieved. Now, you can see that this looks really gloss. Do our line art style. So what we are going to do is we will group all of these shapes that we have created together into one single group. And you can see that our fill arts die like an ace ready. So both of our icons are ready. I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 12. Profile Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to create one of the very, very simple icon, and that is Profile icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. First thing that we need to select in creating the profile icon is circled two. So from here, we'll select the ellipse tool. And now what we are going to do from the center of the art board, we will create a circle. Just make sure that the circle is properly aligned with the artboard. Now we will move it a little weight towards the top and increase the thickness of the outline. Now we are going to create one more circle, either by duplicating it or entirely creating anew circle. I will create a duplicate copy of this and increase the size of the circle. And now in the next step, I will go ahead and select the bottom point of this circle, and I will press Delete on my keyboard. And in the next step, what we are going to do is we will select both of these shapes, and then we will just increase the size of the overall shape. So now the size of this whole icon is in proper place. Just make sure that alignment is also in the right direction. So this is all about this icon. The icon is very minimal, right? If you want to add a little bit more details, you can do that as well by duplicating this icon. But over here we are talking about the profile of one single person. If the profile is comprises of different people or maybe our group, we can create several copies of this icon and then that will represent out-group. So over here, for a one single individual, the icon is proper enough. So now let's go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this art board to create this icon in the fillStyle. So now I will just go ahead and join both of these points at the bottom. And I will select both of these points using the direct selection tool. And on my keyboard, I will press control J, that will join these two points. And now I will just get rid off this line and convert it into fill. So there's all our eigen is ready. I will see you in the next class. 13. Phone Icon Design: Hi everyone. In this class we are going to create the phone icon. So let's go ahead and create our rectangle tool. And now we will adjust the height and width of this rectangle tool. And now we are going to create a duplicate copy of this rectangle. But first we are going to make the strokes a little bit pick. So now I will go ahead and add juxtaposition of these two rectangles and just make sure that they are in the middle of the art folder. Now I will go ahead and create our duplicate copy of this rectangle, and then I will decrease the work and inquiry the height of this rectangle. Now, I will increase the height a little bit further. And now I will just go ahead and start adding burdens in this rectangles by grading some small rectangles. Now we'll go ahead and group all of these rectangles together into one single group. And now we'll create one more rectangle, add dot, dot. And now I will create a line on the side of these burdens and LCD. And now I will go ahead and make that. And now I will go ahead and make the corners a little bit grounded for the external area of the rectangle. Now what I need to do, this is the idea of where both of these shapes are coinciding. So I will just get rid of this line over here and then I will just delete the line that is below this here. So I will just make a duplicate copy. And then I will place that duplicate copy on not the APA, this ship. And by selecting both of these shapes, I will delete the extra areas. So now as you can see that all shapes are properly aligned and positioned and design at the proper placement. So this is all about this item. Our icon is ready, and now we will group all of these shapes into one single group. And now we'll go ahead and start creating the icon in the fillStyle. So let's go ahead and create a duplicate of this whole artwork. And now I will select this whole design and keep our duplicate copy on the side of the Artboard. And now I will select this whole design and go to objects menu and expand artwork. Now I will select this rectangle and delete 1 from here. And then what I will do is I will hide this rectangle for our little Hawaii. And then I will start deleting all of the internal ADRs as well so that I have up fill kind of style for all of these rectangles. I will select all of the corners internally, one by one. And then I will press Delete on my keyboard to dimes. Now you can see that I have this kind of look. And now I will unhide my shape and I will select all of these shapes. And now is using the second option from the Pathfinder window inside shapes mode. I will press it and I will get this guide of design. And now I will delete the emptiness from inside of this icon. There's like that. And now I will fix this empty area as well. So first of all, I will delete the empty area from these two shapes. And then I will create a separation between the receiver and between the other part of the form. So I will create a rectangle over here. And it should be the same height of the whole rectangle. And I will bring it to the other side. And then I will select the shape and both of these shapes together. And then using the second option, I will delete x-ray video. So as you can see or hear, our fillStyle icon is ready as well. We'll select all the shapes and we will group them together into one single group. So now as you can see, our whole artwork is ready in the fillStyle and outline style. So let's go ahead and see you in the next class. 14. Call Log Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome to our new glass. In this class we are going to create the call icon. So for creating local icon, we are going to create our receiver that we'll be showing incoming or outgoing calls. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first of all, from the tools menu, I will select the rectangle do and, or hair on one corner of our art board, I will create a rectangle just like that. And now I will increase the thickness of the icon. And now I will increase the thickness of our shift and make edges rounded. And now I will create a duplicate copy of this shit and move it to the other garner on that diagonal. Now what I'm going to do, I will create a line segment. Neck will connect both of these chips. And now I will make the edges or the corners of this line segment grounded. And in the next step what I will do is I will select this line segment and create our duplicate copy of this line segment and move it towards ductile. Something over this side. Now, I will select one corner of this line segment and grief. And I will do the same thing for the other side. And now I will select all of these shapes. And from here what I'm going to do is I will delete the extra part of this line segment using the shape builder tool. This can be a little bit tricky, but you can ride is two to three times so that you can achieve that look. Or maybe you then also extend the line length so that you can easily delete the extra part. So there's how we can achieve this kind of shape. And now what we are going to do is we are going to combine all of these shapes. Most of all we will select these shapes. And then using the shape builder do we will go ahead and combine these shapes. And we'll just also get rid off dot point signing lines inside these shapes. So now what we are going to do is once we have completed our shape, we will just make sure that the edges or the corners of our lives sign I rounded. So we'll go ahead and select the desired corners. And then using this point over here, we'll drag it and make them rounded. So this is how we can create the call Eigen. Now, moving forward, what we can do is we can also add the arrows so that we can create an outgoing kind of feeling to this whole icon. So using the line segment tool, we are going to create an arrow. And now we are going to create our rectangle. Just like that. We can adjust the height and width of this rectangle accordingly. All right, so that is good enough. We can also extend the arm of this arrow and move it towards the center. Otherwise, this also looks better. So yeah, I think I am happy with this shape right here. And we can also create one more arrow. So that we can create both outgoing and ingoing kind of stuff inside the same icon. So I will go ahead and do that and see what kind of results we are going to get. So I will select this icon and I will create a duplicate copy of the cycle. And I will reverse the position of this items. So let's go ahead and do it, something like that. And now I will rotate it. So by rotating the icon, we are going to achieve this kind of look. And now we can adjust the highs of the arms of these arrows. And now we are going to adjust the height of this line and this line as well. So this is a kind of looked at we have achieved. So I think this looks really good. And now we are going to group it together into one single group. And then I will just reposition that into a proper way. So I think this position is pretty much good and now our icon is ready. So once our line art style icon a study, we are going to create a duplicate copy of our art board and start creating fill style icon. So let's go ahead and create the duplicate of our artboard. And we should always keep duplicate copy of our Eigen before we start designing it in fill style. So making the fillStyle of this Eigen is very, very simple. We will just select this icon and then we will convert it into fill using Shift X. And now you can see we have achieved this kind of flow. So our fillStyle Eigen AS ready as well. We'll go ahead and group it together into one single group. And if you want to expand the arrows, we can do that as well. We'll select these arrows and go to Object menu. And from there we will click on Expand. And from there we'll select. Okay. So finally, our artwork is ready bought for the fillStyle Eigen and the outline style icon. So let's go ahead and I will see you in the next class. 15. Monitor Screen Icon Design: Hello everyone, Welcome back to duck loss. In this class we are going to learn how to create a monitor icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first of all, we are going to grab our rectangle tool. And from here we are going to create our rectangle from the top to the bottom. Somewhere over to the 2 third part of our artboard. Now we'll grab the alert to parts of our rectangle and decrease the height of the rectangle. Just like that. All right, so now we are going to do, is we are going to increase the stroke width of our rectangle somewhere or nine points. And now we'll just soften out the edges. So this is the center of the body of our monitor. Now, we are going to add one more rectangle for the standoff monitor. Though. Let's grab our rectangle tool. Now. We'll create the stand at the bottom. And now we create the base of our monitor. So in order to do that, we didn't do that in different styles. Maybe we can also do that in that respective style, or we can also do that in the flat style. So one way we can do that is by using our line segment tool. So let's grab the line segment tool and create a line over here. Just make sure that our sides of a rectangle are at the same spot. So we are just at O'Hare. Now they are properly aligned with Eigen guide. So let's increase the opacity back to 100 percent. And our increased the height of this rectangle cell. This is a one way that we can create the monitor icon. And if you want to make the height of the body of this monitor icon a little bit more. You can do that as well. Oh, let's go ahead and do that. I think that at this wine, this looks good enough. So we again have a little bit edge over here, and our monitor LCD will go on the top. So let's go ahead and grab our line segment. Do. And using our line segment 2, we will create a line at the base of monitor. Maybe weekend. Reposition it a little bit on that top. Somewhere over here. And now we can add up power burden using our circle do. So let's grab the ellipse tool. And now from here we can create a circle. So let's go ahead and create a circle. Just like that. And now we can just round up the edges of the rectangles so that they look a little bit smoother. So let's go ahead and grab the rectangle. And now we will just grab this point and we'll move it a little bit inside. Maybe 25 pixels is good enough. So this is how it is made and I think we are at the right spot. Now, what I need to do is I need to adjust the base a little bit. So I will just make sure that the height of this base stand is a little bit less because right now it looks very tall. So let's go ahead and adjust the height. I will select these points and then I will move them towards stop. Now I will create a duplicate copy of this line segment and reposition it towards bottom. And now I will adjust the width of this line. And now I will just go ahead and select both of these edges of this line and this line. So I will just select both of these edges using the direct selection tool. And I will press Control J on my keyboard that will join both of these lines together just like that. So I will do the same for the other side as well. So as I have done that, you can see that there is a kind of perspective that is made for debase of the monitor. And now what we are going to do is we can increase the width of our standards so that it matches the width of our rectangle on the base. So let's go ahead and increase WAS once again. And now we'll just match it with the Eigen guide. O here. Yeah, so you can see that we have adjusted our desired Luke, so our icon is ready. We can go ahead and add more details to the icon by creating our reflection on top corner. Let's go ahead and do that. I will select this rounded rectangle and then I will create a duplicate copy and move it towards the bottom corner. And I will isolate it. And now using the pen tool, I will add 1 here and 1 on this side. And now I will decrease the stroke width a little bit. Maybe five pixels is good enough. And now I will decrease. The rounded corner. Looks perfectly fine to me. So yeah, that looks pretty much wine. Now our icon is ready and we'll just make an adjustment or Hill. Yeah, so our Eigen is ready and now we'll select everything and group them together into one single crochet. And now we'll go ahead and create our duplicate copy of this art board to create this icon into fillStyle. So let's go ahead and do that. First of all, I will create a backup copy of this icon. And now I will go ahead and expand my yard work. And before doing that, first thing I'll do is I will select my rectangle and then I will convert this shape into fill. And now I will select the whole ship. And now I will go to all objects menu. And from here I will select, Expand, and hit. Okay. And now as you can see this line O'Hare, I will grab this and create our duplicate copy and bring this towards the end down here. And now I'll select rectangle and make it fill as well. And I will make this rectangle into fill as well. Now, I will select all of these three shapes and using Shape Builder tool, I will just get rid of the extra areas. Now, I will bring one more copy of this line towards the bottom. And I will place it over here. And I will select both of these rectangles and get rid of extra shapes one more time. So you can see a separation between the stand and body of Tom Juanita. And now I will select all of these shapes on top. And then using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of extra shapes from Harris well, and now I will select all of these shapes and group them together into one single group. So as you can see, our line art and our fill style icon is ready. So this is all about creating monitor icon in Illustrator. So let's go ahead and see you in the next class. 16. Laptop Icon Design: Hi everyone, Welcome back to that loss. In this class we are going to create a laptop icon. So let's go ahead and grab our rectangle tool. And now let's create our rectangle in the center of the art world. Now, I will select my rectangle and inquiry's the outline width. And now I will make the edges or the corners software. And now I will decrease the width of this rectangle. And now I will decrease the height of this rectangle. So, or hair. It looks pretty much good. Now, I will bring it to that DHAP and match it with the icon guide. Looks good. And now we'll create the base of this laptop, and I will create a duplicate copy of this rectangle. And before doing that, I will just make sure that the bottom line is matching with the center. So I will grab the alert two points and decrease the height. Just like that and create a duplicate copy of this rectangle. And now what I will do is I will just bring the whole shape a little bit towards inside, towards the center. And I will bring this corner towards outside. And same for the other side. Just like that. So I think that the base perspective of this laptop looks very big as compared to its LCD. So what I will do is I will adjust the proportions of both of these shapes. And I will select the center area and bring it towards down a little bit. And adjust the height of the upper rectangle and adjust the height of the leadership as well. So now I can see that the whole shape looks a little bit balanced. So now I will just go ahead and select external corners and make them round it. So over here now what we'll do is we'll create a line segment on the LCD part. So let's grab the line segment tool and create a line over here. Now, we will select the base and create a duplicate copy of the base and decrease the size of this place. And now we'll decrease the stroke width of the shape and adjust the height and proportions of this shape according to the external shape. Now make sure that both of these lines are parallels or grab this point O here and bring it outside. And we'll do the same for the other corner. So now as we can see that this looks balanced. And now we'll just go ahead and create that crack bed of our laptop. So we'll just create a duplicate copy of this ship and decrease the size of that W get copy. We can also match this line with external keyboard. So we can bring this down somewhere here. And now we can see that this looks pretty much fine. So what we'll do now is weekend, go ahead and create one more copy of this line and bring it to the top. And we'll select both of these lines and make them a little bit thinner. So this looks really better. Now we will select all the shapes and group them together into one single group. So now I can design is ready in line art style. So now we'll go ahead and create this icon in the fillStyle. So let's go ahead and make a duplicate copy of this artboard. Now we'll select this shape and expand the whole design. And now we'll delete the inner points and select the upper area. And we will increase the width of these two lines. And now we'll repeat this process for the base as well. Now we'll create our rectangle or hair between the LCD and this area. And then we will create a separation between the LCD and keyboard. Now, we are going to select the LCD and our base. And using the shape builder tool, we will delete the extra videos. And now we'll go ahead and select this shape and convert it into line art and increase the stroke width. And then we'll expand this. And now we'll delete the inner radius. Will go ahead and delete some extra shapes over here and make sure that our design is aligned with the Eigen guide. Now we'll select the whole design and unite everything. So choosing the Unite option, we have deleted extra options inside the Eigen. So now you can see that our icon in the fillStyle and outline style is ready. Let's go ahead and see you in the next class. 17. Fax Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the loss. In this class we are going to create affects icon. So first of all, we'll grab the rectangle tool and create a rectangle from the center of our artboard. Now we'll increase the height. And now we'll create our duplicate copy of this rectangle and decrease the width of this rectangle. Now we'll create another duplicate copy of this rectangle and decrease the width and increase the height. Just make sure that the height is properly adjusted according to Eigen guide. And now I will go ahead and create that top area. So for that, what I will do is I will create our rectangle. And now I will go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this rectangle and decrease that size. So now what I need to do is I will just GOT this page. I will just got one corner and join the other two corners. Just like that. And now I will create a duplicate copy of this triangle and increase the size of the triangle. And now I will go ahead and select the rectangle that is behind. And using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of that extra shapes. And now you can see that we have created this kind of shape that is showing that the page is folded from the corner. Now we are going to use our line segment tool to add some lines on this page to show our text design. So we'll create some lines and create a duplicate copy of these lines. Now, I think that I should make the width of the stroke a little bit thinner. So I will go ahead and select all of these lines and make the stroke size a little bit thinner. This size really looks good to me. So let's go ahead and now I will start adding buttons in the Mardi. So I will start adding some rectangles and create duplicate copies. And now on this side I will create a rectangle with a bigger height. And now I will create some smaller lines in this rectangle. So I will grab the line segment tool and I will start adding these lines. And I will create several duplicate copies of these lines. So this Eigen looks good to me. So now I will just go ahead and create some final adjustments. Or here I can see that my icon is going outside of my boundaries. So I would just add just this. So now one last thing I need to do is I will select the corner and make it rounded. And now I will do the same thing for the other side. Now one less thing that I need to do is that I will have to get rid of this coinciding line. So first I will group the whole icon into one single group and create a duplicate copy and bring it outside of the art world. And now I will select the whole icon and expand it. And now I will just go ahead and using my shape builder tool, I will remove this shape over here. So now as you can see that our icon is ready in the line art style. Now we'll go ahead and create this icon into the fill style. So let's go ahead and create the duplicate copy of our art board. And now let's go ahead and start creating the fillStyle for each shape one by 1. First of all, I will create the fill style of this page. So I will grab my Garner and delete it and select this shape. And using my shape builder tool, I will get rid of these lines. And now I will create a duplicate copy of this triangle and increase its size. And now we'll go ahead and delete the extra shapes from this area. Now you can see that our icon has been created as fill. Now we'll go ahead and work on the rest of the areas. First of all, I will convert these burdens into fillStyle. And for that, I will grab corners of each of these. And now I will select the whole shape. And now I will go ahead and select this part as well and group them together. And now I will use my Shape mode options. From there, I will select Unite option to unite it together. Now you can see that this has been converted into one single shape. Now, I will go ahead and select this line, and I will just have one single corner and delete the whole area. And now I will select my burdens and the other ship and group them together into one single shape. And on the back, I will place the main shape. And then I will select all of them. And using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of the items. So now you can see that I have achieved this kind of shape. Now I will go ahead and create this icon in do the fill like a. I will select 1 and delete twice. And now you're going to see that this has been converted as well. And now I will create one more rectangle O'Hare. And then using the shape builder tool, I will get rid off extra shapes. And now I will make the same thing for this area as well. Now I will just select that internal corners and delete toys. And you see that this kind of shape has been created. Now, I will create a separation between the receiver and this shape. In order to do that, I will create our rectangle again and select both of these shapes. And using the shape builder dual, I will get rid of extra shapes. And now I will just go ahead and create a separation between the page and fx 0. First of all, I will group all the elements of this page into one single group and group the whole facts into one single group. And now I will go ahead and create a rectangle over here. And then I will delete the extra shapes. And then I will select the whole artwork. And using the Unite option From Shape Modes, I will group them together into one single shape. So now, as you can see that my icon is ready in fillStyle and line art style. I will see you in the next class. 18. Printer Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to create a printer icon. So let's go ahead and grab the Rectangle Tool. And from the center of the art board, I will create our rectangle. Now. I will urge a straw. Quit. Now I will go ahead and make sure that all the strokes are perfectly aligned with the eigenvalue. Alright, so looks good to me. Now, I will go ahead and increase the height of this rectangle. And now let's go ahead and create one more rectangle and decrease the size. Now, I will increase double top this rectangle. And now I will add 1 in the center using the pen tool. And I will now delete this point so that I can achieve this kind of share. Now I will adjust the height of this rectangle according to the icon guide. And now I will go ahead and create one more rectangle for the beach. And I will adjust the height. And now I will adjust the width of this rectangle. So this is how it looks like. And now I will grab this part and bring it to the top. So harris, how I would have to do it. And now I will duplicate this part as well and bringing it to that off. And now I will urge us the height of these rectangles. Just go ahead and bring this bar towards the bottom. And now I will add one more rectangle behind this main page rectangle. So I will just duplicate this rectangle and, and I will flip it. And I will bring it over here. And now I will just decrease the width of this rectangle. Just like that. And now I will just go ahead and increase the corners of this rectangle. So by doing this, I can give dot dimension to the icon. And if you want to keep it two-dimensional, you can do that as well. So now I will go ahead and create some smaller rectangles over here. Or instead of smaller rectangles, you can also make some lines. So I will prefer to make lines and I will bring my line segment tool. And I will create two lines. And this will show the lights of the operator. Will again also adjust the width. So now we'll just go ahead and decrease the width of this icon and delete this one so that we can add this one over there. So this looks perfectly fine. Now, what we'll do is we'll make some adjustments to the artwork. First thing first, we'll select this shape over here. And then we will add some points using Pen tool. Second will add O'Hare. And then third, we'll add in the center. And we'll delete this point. So this will give us a shape just like that. And now we need to get rid of this line as well and we'll repeat the same process for that. So first of all, we'll add 1 here. And now we'll add one more point over here. And one the center. And we'll delete the center point. So we'll come up with something like this. And now we'll increase this point towards insight. And same for this one. And no, we'll repeat the same process for this shape over here. We'll add 1 here and one over here, and one in the center. And it will delete the central point. So in the end we will get something like this. So we can see that we have kind of three-dimensional with this page over here. So we'll do the same for the page that is coming out off the operator over here. So we can do that. By creating some points on this area. Or we can create a new shape from scratch. Right now we'll get rid of this shape and now we will create a new shape. So what we are going to do is we will use our line segment tool. And now from this point we'll start creating a line towards the end in that diagnosis, just like this. And now we are going to create a duplicate copy of this line and bring it on the other side and flip that direction. We'll need to make sure that the corner is just align properly with the guide and on this side as well. And now what we do is we create a duplicate copy of this one and flip that around. And we'll bring it on this side. And now we'll just make some adjustment. But before that, we need to join these points. So it's like both of these points and hit Control J on our keyboard. And this will join the whole shape. So now we'll go ahead and select this area. And we'll grab this point outwards. And this wind as well. And we'll stretch this point inside just like that. And now what we are going to do is we are going to create some line segments. First we'll create a line segment though here. And then we'll create our duplicate copy of this line segment and bring it towards or down. And now we'll increase the width of this line, just like that. And now we'll select this line and this line. And now using the blend tool will create more lines proportionally. So overhead, we will select the blend tool. And first we will click on the center of the first line. And then we'll click on the center of the second line. As soon as we do that, we can see that we have a couple of lines appear just like this. Now we'll go ahead and double-click on our blend T2. And this kind of pop up appear. And now from this drop-down menu, we'll go ahead and select Specified Steps, option and decrease done number of steps. And we'll select, Okay, and now we'll go ahead inside the objects menu. And from there we'll find out blend option. And from here we'll select expand. This will expand the option of blending. And now we'll go ahead and make some adjustments to dark corners. Will select the corners and make them rounded. And now we'll go ahead and create the gut area of the page at the top. So we'll create a rectangle. And now we create Docker chip. For that purpose, we'll create a line segment. And now we'll select all of these shapes together and we'll get rid of extra shapes. Now you can see that we have achieved this kind of look. Just need to make sure that part is properly aligned. Now we'll go ahead and put this part together. And now you can see that our icon is ready. We'll select all of these shapes and group them together into one single group. Now we'll go ahead and start designing this icon into fillStyle. We'll just go ahead and create a duplicate copy of our art board. We'll just keep a backup copy and now we'll select our artwork and convert it into fill. So first thing we need to do is we will make our rectangles into the fillStyle. Will create a duplicate copy of this shape and bring it downwards and increase the size. And now we've got the extra areas. And now we'll go ahead and select this rectangle over here. And we will join it together. And we'll select our inner corners and delete them. And then we'll select these two shapes and the rectangle and delete them using the shape builder tool. Now what we are going to do is you can see this video here. We'll select this and use the option that says isolated selected group. And we'll expand the lower areas and increase their height. And from here we will select both of these shapes and delete external areas. For that purpose, we will make use of shape builder tool. So now you can see that we have achieved this kind of look. Now what we are going to do is we will select our shape and we'll select these two corners and we'll make them rounded. And now we'll move these two shapes a little bit inside. Just make sure that they are aligned with the Eigen guide. And now we are going to select this line or hair, and it will create a duplicate copy of this line and expand the width of this line. And now we'll select the main line over here. And using the shape builder tool, we'll get rid of extra parts. And now using the Unite tool form, shape builder option, we'll just let that you write option and then you can see that our whole shape is combined like this. Now, we'll select these corners and make them rounded. And now what we are going to do is we'll select all of these lines together and make them one single shape. So by selecting all of these lines, we will press Control 8 on our keyboard to make them into one single shape. Now we'll select our main shape and delete the empty area. Now we'll select this shape and the rectangle. And we'll select the second option from the shape modes. And you can see that we have achieved this kind of fluke. And now we are going to create this stray into fillStyle as well. So to do that, what we are going to do is we will select these points and we'll, we'll expand them towards that DHAP, just our hair. And now we will create our duplicate copy off this one and flip around. And we will match this towards this side. Just like that. And we will delete this ship. And now we will select both of these shapes and group them together into one single group. And now we are going to isolate this group and we will join them together. So once we have combined them together from the bottom, we will do the same thing from the top by creating a rectangle or our segment tool. So now we have created the line segment tool and will increase its stroke value. So now we have a line over here. And what we will do is we will expand this line. First, we will join the corners properly. Now we are going to the Object menu, and from there we will expand this line. And now we will combine the whole shape. So now you can see that we have achieved this kind of gray and now we will make it into Fill. Now we are going to create a separation between this page and this spray. So in order to do that first we will do is, first of all, who is select both of these shapes and decrease their opacity to 50 percent. And then we will select this shape over here. And we'll create our duplicate copy of this as well. And will, will decrease downward turn, increase the height. Just like that. And now we are going to select other shape as well. And using the shape builder tool, we will delete the center area. So now you can see that we have achieved this kind of fluke. Now we will increase the opacity back to 100 percent. And you can see we have achieved our icon. Now in the next step we are going to make the upper area at the back of the page into fill as well. So we'll select both of these shapes and group them together into one single group. And now we are going to create our rectangle at the bottom. And we will join both of these shapes together. And selecting one corner, we will delete the central area. And now we are going to delete the extra ADRs to create a separation between the printer and the page and this back panel. So in order to do that, what we'll do is we will create our duplicate copy of this ship and decrease the width of this shape. And now we will move this shape a little bit on the top. And now what I'm going to do is I will select this shape and keep our duplicate copy of this shape at 12 so that if I need that thing right away, we can use that. And now I'll select both of these shapes together. And then I will get rid of the extra areas. So as you can see over here, if I make the opacity 100 percent, you can see that we have achieved this kind of look. What now we need a separation between the printer page and D shapes as well. So what we are going to do is we will bring back this one rectangle at the bottom and will increase Dalvik and bring that over here. And now we will select the shapes and the spaceship. And we will delete the extra margin areas. So this is the kind of shift that we need and we have properly achieve that. So now you can see that our printer icon in the fillStyle is ready as well. We'll regroup all the shapes together into one single group. And you can see both of our icons are properly designed, so this is dark. Bring their icon design. I will see you in the next class. 19. Calculator Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to class. In this class we are going to learn how to create our calculator icon. So there are many diets that we can create calculator. In this class, I'm going to create the calculator in a very minimal style. So without any further ado, let's get started. First thing we do is grab our rectangle tool as we do in every class. So now let's go ahead and create our rectangle from the top corner towards the bottom. And make sure that it's all aligned with the icon guide. Now let's go ahead and increase the stroke width. And now let's smooth out that garners. So there's the initial part. Now let's go ahead and start creating the LCD of the calculator. I will just select my rectangle and create a duplicate copy of this rectangle by pressing Control C and Control F on my keyboard, that will create a duplicate copy in the same place. Now I will select that rectangle and deal with the high towards that off somewhere. At this point, it's totally fine. Now, let's go ahead and create several more rectangles inside the body area. So let's grab the rectangle tool and start creating some really fine rectangles over here. And then created a duplicate copy. Just like that. We'll just get rid of this one. And now what we will do our hair is that we will make the strokes as internal. So let's go to stroke and select the second option from the bottom. As soon as we get this and make the corners rounded. And now let's go ahead and create our duplicate copy of this rectangle and bring their tours stopped mortal. And now let's create a duplicate copy of this one as well. One thing we need to make sure is that the center burdens must be in the middle of the artboard. So let's scrap them together and align them in the center of the art board. And I will make sure that I make are duplicate copy of this one towards the bottom that align with less button. Now the next thing is that I will grab this rectangle and Korea are duplicate copy towards the other side. And I will select two points of this. And then I will bring them towards the bottom. So, and so that they align with the other shapes. So this is the basic structure that we have created. Now, we'll go ahead and refine it. All we need to do here is that by dropping down our opacity will make sure that all the lines are on the same spot. So this one is a little bit. So we'll grab that and make it at the right position. So everything looks properly positioned and aligned at the right place. So now we'll bring the opacity back. So now we are going to start adding the symbols inside the Spartan was thing we need to do is we will add the plus sign. So we'll select our type tool and click over here. As you can see, we have dummy text over here. Now we will press Plus on our keyboard and we'll use our random font. And we'll select the font and make it bigger. Just make sure that this is properly aligned with the center. And now we'll bring the duplicate copies and bring them in all the buttons. This one is going to be minus. The other one should be multiplied. Or maybe weekend at just the shape occurs. Or maybe we then keep it like that and we'll just sort it there to make it multiply. And the next one should be the white icon. So because we do not have those symbols on our keyboard, so we'll make them manually. So now let's go ahead and work on our last one. And we'll make it equal, something like this. And now we are going to select all of these and just expand them by right-clicking and selecting this option that says Create Outlines. So now we have all of these properly adjusted, and now we'll do the same for this one. And now the next step is that or hair. You can see this one is plus. We need to make it multiply by selecting it and rotating it like that. So now we have to multiply icon as well. And now all we need to work on this one that has to be white icon. So for this one, we need do dots. So we'll go to our ellipse tool. And from here, we'll just randomly make two circles, one on top and one at the bottom. So now we have appropriately or just did, do wide icon as well. Now I will just select this one and make a few adjustments. I think that dot dots are a little bit smaller. So I will just go ahead and make them bigger. So they are good to go. Now I'll bring this copy at the bottom and delete the other one. And I'll select all of these and just make sure that they are proper. Leeds United. Now I will have to just align them properly in do one single button. First of all, I will select all of these and make sure that the color is fine. So here I can see there was a little bit out of place, so make it black. And now just work on alignments of these. So I will create our duplicate copy of this one and make it smaller. So I can see that over here, this one needs to be aligned properly. So I will just move it into this square and then I will get rid of those bear and deleted. Or maybe I can just duplicate it on the other side. Here I can see there this one also needs to be adjusted and aligned in the center. And I will bring that duplicate copies of both of these at the bottom as well. And now I need to align these symbols as well. Now I will just get rid of all these extra elements. And now I will make a copy of this one and drop it down from the size. And I will select this particular shape. And now this one is aligned as well. So now I will get rid of the ship. There it is outside. And now I will just group them individually one by one. So now they are all or just did and groped in their own separate groups. This one needs to be regroup. And this one as well. And now I will select all of them and bring them together into one single group II. So now everything is properly working. And now what I will do is I will select the edges and corners and make them round it just like that. So here inside the city, one thing we can do is we can make it a little bit more, boy, bye. Making the stroke inside. So we'll go to stroke and make it internal. And after increasing the stroke size, do we will just go ahead inside objects and Expand Appearance. And now we will just let the wind from the corner and delete it all away. And before we do that, what we need to do is create a duplicate copy of this shape and do the same thing for DAG as well. First of all, expand that and we will just select the corner and deleted. So now we have this kind of shape. We can either get rid off the external area if we will, or otherwise. Before doing that, we can just go ahead and create one line segment over here and connect the edges of body off calculator, just like that. So now as we can see that our LCD is ready as well, then just go ahead and convert that into the items style or line art style. And now we can go ahead and is that stroke size and make the corners rounded? So this is how it works. Now what we need to do is we'll select all of these shapes and group them together into one single group. Now, our icon is ready. Now we'll go ahead and create a duplicate copy of art board to create our fill style design. So let's go ahead and do that. We'll just keep a backup copy of our calculator. And then what we need to do is we will select all the shapes and ungroup them. And then we'll start expanding all the ships. So first of all, I will convert dumb mean rectangle into fill. As you can see that when I select the whole shape, this is what I got. So now I will go to objects menu. And from Expand Appearance I will select Expand Appearance option. And then I will go to objects again and expand the whole artwork so the outlines are converted into fill as well. Now I will go ahead and using the shape builder doing, I will start deleting extra areas. I will just click on them one by one and delete all the shapes that are inside and coinciding with the main shapes. This is the last one that is left. So as you can see that our fill style icon is ready as well. We'll just go ahead and group them together into one single group. And we need to make sure that everything is on the right place inside the Eigen guide. So our calculator design is ready as well. Now let's go ahead and I will see you in the next class. 20. Camera Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to learn how to create camera icon. So let's go ahead and first of all, grab ellipse tool. And from the center of the art board we will create. And from the center of the art board, we will create a circle. And now let's increase the size of the circle. And now we'll create one more circle by creating a duplicate copy and increase its size. And the good thing about this Eigen is that we are going to create several different sizes of these lines. So over here, we will create our different line size or are different line thickness. And made sure that it is properly aligned with the Eigen guide and or hair, we will create one more circle and make it smaller. Just like that. So we have something like that for the lens. Now we'll go ahead and create a square or rectangle. So from the top corner, we will start creating our rectangle. And now we will adjust the corners of this rectangle and also decrease the height of this rectangle. So this looks perfectly fine. So now we are going to work on the corners. So let's make them rounded. Now let's go ahead and make some line segments. So first thing we need to do for that is we'll grab our line segment two. And then from one edge to the other edge will create the lines. And we'll make these lines thinner, something like that. And create a duplicate copy of this line and bring it to the top. And now we'll decrease the size of the circle. Something like that. While you are doing, they're just make sure that you do not make the circle way, way smaller. So we'll just need to make a few adjustments so that everything looks perfectly fine. Or maybe we can bring it back or work on our lines. So all here what we then do is again select this line and make the width of this line smaller. Just like that, so that we have a better impression. And we'll do the same thing for the line that is above. And now we will create the brigade copies of these two lines and flip them around and make sure that they are properly align with the edges. Now, we will go ahead and create the flesh of the camera. So let's go ahead and grab the rectangle tool and create our rectangle. Just like that. And now we'll create our duplicate copy of this rectangle and decrease the height of the rectangle. Like that. And now make the corners rounded. And we'll degrees the size and the thickness of these lines and increase the thickness of the lines that are outside. So this is something that we have created right now. One thing we need to make sure that width of these two rectangles must be a little bit wider. So I will just grab them and increase downward top these rectangles. So I will grab them and increase Tau with TAF rectangles. And now in the next step, what we need to do is weekend create some rectangles inside the camera as well. So I will go ahead and grab my rectangle tool. And I will create one rectangle over here. And I will create one circle on the other side. So this is done to make just an extra factor inside the Eigen. If you want to keep it minimal, you can do that as well. If we convert this dial in, do the fill style. That looks good as well. But right now, what we can do is we can bring it back and make the radius or the thickness of this circle a little bit more ticker. So maybe you can try 15. And now let's go ahead and make the circle smaller. So this is the line art style icon that it's ready. Now we'll group them all into one single group. And now let's go ahead and start creating this icon into the fill style icon. So let's go ahead and so let's go ahead and create the duplicate copy of our art board. And now let's go ahead and make a duplicate copy of this Eigen as well. So we have a backup. So the first step is that we are going to convert this into fill. And we'll do the same thing for this area as well. Now in the next step, what we need to do is we'll select all the shapes. And we'll go ahead and in the objects menu, we'll select the option that says expand. From there. We'll select Okay. And he's using the and using the shape builder tool will start getting rid of all the extra shapes. And you didn't using the shape builder tool will start getting rid of all the extra shapes inside our icon. Just like that. So now we'll just make a few more adjustments and increase the height of this rectangle. And one thing I have noticed that our And one thing or one thing or hair, I have noticed that the flesh part of our design must be aligned with the top. So I will select that and bring that to the top, just like that. And while doing that, One more thing is that we can select lower areas and then we can bring them close to our camera body and make and make a few adjustments over here. One last thing is there, the less there go inside needs to be bigger. So I will just select that and make it bigger. So now what we'll do is we'll group all of these shapes together into one single group. And finally, you can see that our icon, both in the fillStyle and outline style is ready. Now, lets see you in the next class. 21. Speaker Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to learn how to create speaker icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first thing, we are going to select the circle tool. And then from the center of the art board, we'll start creating our circle. And now we'll increase the thickness of the circle. Once done, we'll go ahead and create our duplicated copy of the circle and scale it down. So next up we'll create our rectangle. Now, I will go ahead and increase the height of the rectangle. Now, I will reposition the circles on the bottom. And now I will go ahead and create R2P, get copy of the circles and move them towards the top and make them smaller. And now I will go ahead and create one more small circle on the corner of this whole design. Now I will adjust the corners of this whole rectangle. So I will go ahead and select this rectangle and make the corners rounded. Now I will select the Line Segment 2. Now, I will go ahead and group the whole design together. And I will create a duplicate copy of this whole design. One thing I can notice over here that there is no gap between these two shapes. So I will go ahead and select both of these designs and make them smaller. So once I'm happy with adjustments of these design, I will go ahead and increase the height. And now I will go ahead and increase the gap between these two designs. So as you can see that our design is ready. Now, we'll go ahead and create our duplicate copy of the art board to create the fillStyle of this item. So first of all, I will create a backup copy of this design over here. And now I will start designing this whole icon design in the fillStyle. So to start off this process, first thing I will do is I will ungroup the whole design. And now I will select this whole rounded rectangle and convert it into fill. And now I will select this whole design and go to the objects panel. And from here I will select Expand Appearance. And now I will go to Objects, wants more time, and select Expand option. Now from hair in the shape mode, I will select the second option that says Minus Front, so that I can create this kind of design. So you can see that I have achieved this kind of design that is in the fillStyle. Now, I need to make a few more adjustments. Over here, I will delete this dot and make some adjustments. And I need to make this circle a little bigger. So once I have made all our adjustments, I will go ahead and delete the other icon. And now I will group this whole icon together and create a duplicate copy or the second pill. And now our icon design is ready in the fillStyle and line art style. So here is the speaker I can, I will see you in the next class. 22. Location Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to learn how to create a location or bin icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first of all, we will grab ellipse tool from our tools menu. So from here, from the center of the art board, I will start creating an ellipse. Now I will increase the stroke thickness and decrease the size of this circle. Now let's move this circle a little bit up towards start off. Now we'll go ahead and create our rectangle. And now we'll go ahead and rotate this rectangle and decrease the width of this rectangle. And make the corners of rectangles Moodle. Now we'll go ahead and create a duplicate copy of the circle and make this copy smaller. Now what we are going to do is using the direct selection tool, we will select these two corners of the rectangle and move them towards DHAP. We need to adjust these corners at the aligning position with the circle. So now we'll go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this external circle for backup. And we will hide this copy. And now we will select this gone style of shape and the circle. And now he's using is Unite option from shape modes. We will select this option. And we can see that we have achieved this kind of shape. Now we will select these two points and move them towards the center. And now what we are going to do that will select both of these points and move them a little bit towards the bottom. And now we will select these corners and make these points around it just like that. Okay, so now we have achieved this kind of Luke and we have created our pin location icon. And now what we are going to do is we will select all these shapes and group them together into one single group. Now we'll go ahead and create this icon into fillStyle. Now we'll select our art board and create a duplicate copy of the artwork. We keep a backup copy of this item. And then we are going to make this external shape as Phil. And we'll move this coin towards the bottom and make it rounded. Now what we are going to do is we are going to hide this shape for a while. And then we will select this circle over here and make it into the fillStyle as well. And now we will unhide our shape and select both of these shapes. And then he's using the second option from shape morphs from Pathfinder window. We'll go ahead and minus these options. If this does not work over here, what we can do is we can select our shape builder tool and we can do it manually, just like that. So here you can see our icon is ready and it's ready in fillStyle and line art style as well. So this is all about location or when icon, I will see you in the next class. 23. Browser Window Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the applause. In this class we are going to create browser window icon. So the browser window icon can be used in several different styles or example, anything that you want to browse or you want to find in your computer. So in order to create this icon, what we are going to do is we are going to grab our rectangle tool. And from here we will create our rectangle from the top corner of our artboard. And now we will increase the thickness and make the corners smoother, something like that. And now in the next step we are going to select our line segment tool and create a line on top. Just like that. Maybe we can bring this line at the bottom. And now in the next step, we are going to create three circles over here. So we will select our circle tool and start creating three circles. Just like that. And create duplicate copies of the circle. So this is the basic browser window. If you want to create a stack of browser window, you can just group all of these shapes together into one single group and then create several different designs of one single group or one single icon. So in this case, to make multiple style icon, what I will do is I will select all of these shapes together into one single group. And then I will make the size smaller, something of this size. And then I will create the duplicate copy of this design. And then I will bring this duplicate copy towards the bottom or hair. I just need to reposition my design. And now I will just, and now I will add just the height of these two windows. So I will select all of the bottom points and then I will increase its side. Only if it looks good and it's under the right premises of our Eigen guide. And I will adjust the height from the top as well. And now I will adjust downward of these two designs. So this is how we have to reposition our design. So one thing over here that we need to do is we need to adjust the position of the shapes that are coming at point of the other shape. So over here I will select this line, our hair that is cutting through this other design. And I will adjusted towards that side. And if I see that, my other design is also cutting through design that is at the back. So I will just go ahead and make the height a little bit worse, bottom. So I will select this whole design and I will bring this shape words, Autumn. So this is now at the right place and now I will adjust this line. And now it looks better over here. And now I need to do the same thing so that anything that is cutting through the icon that is our desktop, I just need to get rid of those shapes. So I will go ahead and add another point on this rectangle using my pen tool. And I will add one more point over here and delete additional points. So here we can see that all the adjustments have been made and everything looks perfect at the right place. So our icon design is ready. Now we will go ahead and group all these shapes into one single group. And now we'll go ahead and start creating our icon into the fillStyle. So let's go ahead and create our duplicate copy. And now what we are going to do is we are going to create this item into fill. Just like that. Now we are going to select this whole artwork. And then we are going to expand is design. And now we are going to get rid of all the extra shapes that are coinciding with the design. Just like that. And the next step, what we are going to do is we will delete this part. And now we will duplicate this design towards top. Just like that. Now what we are going to do is we are going to create the separation between this icon and the icon that is at the back. So in order to do that, we will create a duplicate copy of this rectangle or hair and flip that word eagerly. Just like that. Now you can see through the shapes that what is the right position of all the icons. So we'll bring this over here. And we'll create a separation between these two icons. Now using the shape builder tool, we will get rid of all the extra shapes. And now we will group all the shapes together into one single shape. So now as you can see that our fill icon design and line art style icon design for browser window is ready. So I will go ahead and see you in the next loss. 24. Globe Icon Design: Hi everyone. In this class we are going to create lobe icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. First of all, I will select the circle icon on the toolbar. And then from the center of the art board, I will start creating a circle. And then I will increase the thickness of the circle. And from stock option, I will make a circle inner side. Now what we are going to do is we will create a duplicate copy of this circle. And now we will decrease the width of this circle. And now we'll create a duplicate copy of this oval. And now we will decrease the width once more, dying. So now you can see that we have created this kind of shape. Now we will go ahead and select both of these inner OLS. And we will create a duplicate copy of these two ovals. And now we will rotate this copy just like that. So are you can see that we have created a shape like this. Now we will go ahead and create a line segment in the center of the art board. Now we'll select all of these shapes together into one single group. So now our icon design of globe is ready. So now we'll go ahead and create this design in the fillStyle. So let's create a duplicate copy of our artboard. Now I will keep a backup copy of my design and work on this copy from the objects menu. I will expand this design. And now I will use unite the whole design from shaped modes. But before you do that, first thing, you need to make sure that all of the shapes are properly expanded. So I will go ahead from the objects menu. I will select the experiment option and select OK. And now, once I click the Unite option from ships menu, this will create a shape like this. Now what I am going to do is I will select this whole shape and I will select 1. And on my keyboard I will press Delete to dimes. So now you can see I have created this kind of shape. Now I will select the whole shape and resize it and increase the size towards dark top and align it with the icon guide. So now our icon design is ready in line art style and fillStyle. I will see you in the next class. 25. Filter Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class, we are going to create the filter icon. So from the ous menu, we'll select our rectangle tool. And we will adjust downward this rectangle. And we will bring this rectangle towards the top. And now we will adjust the height. Now let's increased thickness of the outline and make the corners smoother. Now let's go ahead and decrease the height a little bit more. And then I will bring these two corners towards the center. Just like that. We can bring them a little bit more closer. Now we go ahead and create the tube of this filter icon. And in order to do that, we will create our rectangle. And now we'll select both of these shapes and unite them together. Now, I will just go ahead and select one corner of the bottom and I will bring it to her at all. And now I can add just dark, dark corners, a little bit narrow. So now our icon design is ready. Now we'll go ahead and create the duplicate copy of our artwork to create this icon into fillStyle. So let's go ahead and do that. First of all, we will duplicate our art board. And now over here we will select this shape and convert it into fill. And now we'll just dot top and bottom edges with the item, right? I will do the same thing over here. And now I will select dot, top and bottom corners, and I will go ahead and make the corners rounded. And now you can see that our icon design is ready in fillStyle and line art style. I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 26. Security Lock Icon Design: Hi everyone. Welcome back to the class. In this class, we are going to create da noch or privacy icon. So let's go ahead and select our rectangle tool. And from the center of the art board, we'll create a rectangle. Now we will decrease the height and the height from the top as well. Now, we will increase the stroke thickness and make the corners rounded. Now we'll go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this rectangle and move it towards DHAP. And now we'll decrease the width of this rectangle. Just like that. And now we will select the corners of the bottom of rectangle and making grounded. And make the same thing for dark dope area. And I will select the top two corners and make them rounded as well. One thing or hair, what we need to do is we will select this shape and make it open ended. By selecting one of this area and using the pen tool, we will add our white over here. And we will delete this point. And now our shape is open-ended. Now we are going to select the US broke option and we will make this black. And now we'll increase the stroke thickness a little bit more. Now Wheeler just the height of this shape. We'll select the upper areas and then we will bring that words, martyrdom, something like that. And now what we are going to do is we will add a circle at the center. So it's like the US are gonna do. And then we will add a circle over here. Now what we'll do is we'll select our rectangle and we'll create a rectangle at the center and make that bottom rounded. And we will bring this over here and decrease the stroke size. Using the shape more absorption. We will unite the whole shape just like that. And then we will adjust it properly with the Eigen guide. So now our icon design is ready. We'll select the whole shape and group it together into one single group. Now we'll go ahead and create a duplicate copy of the art board. And then we'll start creating this design into the field shape. Now, we'll go ahead and convert this shape and do is kind of the style. And then using the shape builder tool, we will minus this shape. And then we'll select this shape and go to objects menu. And I will decrease the width of this design. Now I will select this corner and move it towards the center. And I will do the same for the other corner. And now I will select both of these corners on this side and increase the outwit by moving these corners towards the other side. So now I will go ahead and create a line on this side using the line segment tool. Or I can also use the pen tool for this purpose. So let's go ahead and use the pen tool. And from here, I will start creating a line just like that. Now I will go ahead and start adding some lines inside this card. So I will select my line segment tool and start creating these lines. As I move downwards, the line size will start grease. So first I will create all the lines or duplicate them. And then one by one, I will start decreasing their wit. Now we'll go ahead and create two circles at the bottom. And now I will create a duplicate copy of this circle and move it towards the other side. And now I will just this handle. Let's just get rid of this shape over here and increase the height of this line. And let's move this corner, the words, the alignment with this side. So now as you can see that we are getting close to what it should be. Yeah, so now we'll go ahead and select the whole shape and group the shape together into one single group. And now you can see that our icon is written. Now we'll go ahead and create our duplicate copy of our art board and start creating this icon into fillStyle. So let's go ahead and do that. Now we'll select the whole shape and expanded form the objects menu and select Expand and make this circle into fill. And now what we are going to do is we'll select all of these lines and increase their wit. In the next step, what I will do is I will select this polygon, and I will select it's one corner and press Delete on my keyboard so that I can delete the old shape. And now I will select the complete shape, and then I will select Shape Builder tool, and I will get rid of all these extra shapes. So now you can see that I have achieved this kind of look. Now, I will create a duplicate copy of this circle and create a smaller circle in the center. And now using the shape builder tool, I will just get rid of the circle that was in the center. So our icon design in fillStyle and line art style is ready as you can see or hear. So now I will go ahead and I will see you in the next class. 28. Cloud Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to create the Cloud icon. So let's go ahead and select the rectangle tool. And from the center of the artboard will start creating a rectangle and adjust the height of rectangle property. And now we'll go ahead and select the bottom two corners of this rectangle and make them rounded. And now I will make the whole shape a little bit bigger and make the edges rounded. And now I will go ahead and select the ellipse tool. And from the center of the art board, I will start creating several circles. And now I will go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this circle and bring it towards the other side. And I will decrease the size of the circle. And now I will create one more copy of this circle and bring it on the other side. Now for this circle, I will increase the size a little bit bigger. So now we have three different sizes of circles. So now I will go ahead and select this rectangle. And I will delete one of the corner, and then I will get rid off the other corner as well until I will achieve this kind of shape. Now I will go ahead and select this corner and bring it towards the center. And I will select the whole shape. And using a shape builder tool, I will unite the whole shape just like that. So now I will go ahead and select extra points that are not in the right place and delete them. And then I will unite both of the open points and joined them together just like that. So now, as you can see that our Cloud icon is ready. We'll go ahead and select this icon and align it according to the Center of art board. Now we'll go ahead and create this Eigen into the fillStyle. So we'll create a new artboard or duplicate this one. And now I will select this icon and hit Shift X on my keyboard to make it in fillStyle. And now I will go ahead and select this sharp edge. And I will select this corner as well and make it rounded. And now as you can see that my icon in the fillStyle is ready. So now as you can see that our icons in fillStyle and line art style are ready for Cloud icon. Now, I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 29. Dimond Premium Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to create the premium or diamond icon. So let's go ahead and from the tools menu, I will select Rectangle Tool. And from the center of the art board, I will create our rectangle. Just like that. And I will adjust the height of the rectangle. And now I will go ahead and convert this rectangle into polygon by selecting the corners and then moving them towards the outside. So now let's go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this shape. And now we will flip this shape and we'll bring this towards that top. Now I'll select both of these shapes and make the sides or the outlines ticker and make the corners rounded. Now we will select the bottom of this whole shape and bring it towards the edge of the canvas. Now we'll slip the corner of this shape and then we will bring it towards the center. And we will do the same for the other side. Now we'll select knock top part as well, and we will bring it towards that top edge. So we have the basic structure of this diamond ready. Now we'll go ahead and create the inner details. So first of all, I will select the Line Segment tool. And using the line segment tool, I will start adding some lines in that diagonal. Let's go ahead and select dark corner of this line and adjust it properly. Now, I will create a duplicate copy of this line and flip it vertically. We just need to make sure that both of these corners of these lines are the same sport in the icon Guide. Now we create duplicate copies of this reshape. And now we'll go ahead and create some more lines from this bottom corner and connect them towards the top. So let's grab the line segment tool once again. And, and form this corner. We'll start adding these lines towards the top. Now we'll create a duplicate copy of this shape. And we'll select the corner and bring this corner towards this line segment. So as you can see that our diamond icon design is ready. Now, we will go ahead and create the fillStyle of this. Eigen will create a duplicate copy of the artboard. And now, first of all, we will expand the whole artwork. And now we'll go ahead and from the shape modes will select the first option. And now we'll select the points and double-click on our keyboard from the delete button. And you can see we have created this kind of shape, and now we'll just go ahead and resize and scale up this icon. And now we'll select these bottom corners and connect them, the words or terms of Eigen, right? And now we'll go ahead and group all the shapes together into one single shape. So now you can see that our icon design of diamond in line art style and fillStyle is ready. Now I will go ahead and see you in next class. 30. WIFI Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the class. In this class we are going to learn how to create a Wi-Fi icon. So this Eigen is totally line art style, but we will get to make the fill style icon as well. So in order to do that, first thing we are going to do is we'll grab the circle tool from our Tools menu. And then from the center of the art board, we are going to create the circles. And now we'll increase the circle size. And we'll create a duplicate copy of the circle and decrease the size. And now we'll create one more duplicate copy of this circle and make it smaller one more time. Now what we are going to do from this line over here will create selection and select all these points. And then we'll delete the points like that so much so that we can create this kind of shape. Now what we are going to do is that from center of our art board, we will create our rectangle and rotate. They don't 45 degree. Now we will bring the tip of this rectangle towards the center, and we'll select the whole artwork. And we'll select the Shape Builder tool and delete all the extra ADRs that are outside. And now we are going to select this corner and hit Delete 2 times on our keyboard. And now you can see that we have achieved this kind of shape. Now from the center of the artboard, who will create a small circle and make the circle size a little bit bigger. And now we'll select all these shapes and make the edges rounded. And now I'll select the whole shape and make it bigger. Now will group all of these shapes together into one single group and align them properly in art board. One more thing to refine our icon we can do is that we'll select these arcs and then we will increase this size. So now you can see our icon looks more board. Now we can decrease the size a little bit. And now we'll go ahead and start creating the icon in the fillStyle. So let's create a duplicate copy of our art board. And now we will select our icon and expanded. And now we'll decrease the size of our icon. And now we'll create a circle on the center of our artboard. Now we'll select the whole shape. And now we will select our shape builder tool. And using the shape builder do if we will delete all the internal shapes. So we receive this kind of shape. So now as you can see that our Wi-Fi icon is ready. I will see you in the next class. 31. Exit Icon Design: Hi everyone. Welcome back to the loss. In this class we are going to create the exit icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So in order to create the exit icon, we are going to use the rectangle tool and line segment tools. So first of all, let's just locked down our I can Great. And then go to the rectangle tool and select it. And from the center of the art board, we are going to create a new rectangle. As you can see, I have created a new rectangle. And now what we are going to do is I will go ahead and make sure that stroke size is nine pixels. So let's make that stroke size nine pixel. And then I will just increase the width of this rectangle a little bit. Just like that. And in case if you'll realize that it is a little bit more than you can anytime, just decrease the outward top of this rectangle. So in my case, I feel that this is fine, but I can just decrease it as well. In this case. Let me just go ahead and create one more rectangle. So I will go ahead and just select this rectangle and then create a duplicate copy by pressing Control C and Control F on my keyboard. That will create a duplicate copy on the right place on top of this rectangle. Here you can see if I squeeze it down. I have another rectangle on top of that already. So now what I'm going to do is I will just going to adjust the width of this rectangle according to my Eigen guide. And now I'm going to convert this rectangle into the polygon. So I will just go ahead and select my rectangle and then I will make it isolate by clicking the right-click. And then I will select this option that says isolated selected bot. And then using my direct selection tool in white, I will select these two points. And then I will just move them towards the bottom, just so that they can touch this Eigen guide art. So over here you can see that I have created this kind of polygon. In case you want to decrease the width of this polygon, you can do that as well. So that we have space between this gap for the opening of this door. All right, So this much of it is cold enough. And now what I'm going to do, I will select both of these ships. And then from the stroke options, I will make their corners rounded. Or so as you can see, now, our corners are much smoother. So now what I am going to do, I need this area, MT, and I want my strokes to just open up or hair for both of these points. So for that reason, what I'm going to do is I will just select this rectangle. And in the center of the rectangle, I will go ahead and create or add another point. And for debt, I will select my pen tool. And using my pen tool, I will hover my mouse over this rectangle and click over here. And then I will add one more point on this area. And then I will add one more point at the bottom at this area. And then I will go ahead and select the central point and delete it. So as we can see that I have an opening over here. So now what I'm going to do is I'm going to create an arrow over here in the middle of this opening. And for that purpose, I'm going to use my line segment tool. So let's go ahead and select the Line Segment tool. From this, I can guide towards this side. I will create a line. And I can also expand this line all the way towards the end of Eigen guide. That's totally up to me that how I want to play around with the whole stuff. So now in order to create the arrow part, I will go ahead and select the rectangle tool. And then I will create our rectangle. And then I'm going to rotate this rectangle just like that. And then making the rectangle bat isolated. I will select this point over here and delete it. And just make sure that I make the size of this arrow smaller. So this much is good enough. And then I'm going to move this, just do worse, the side edge so that it can align with my arrow. And then I'm going to make some adjustments over here. So let's just zoom out and see that how it looks. So one more adjustment that I need to do or here is that as you can see, that this rectangle over here needs to be added back because this is the door opening and that is the backside of the door. So what do we need to do is we need to show that this rectangle over here is at the back of this whole shape. So in order to do that, we will just delete this corresponding line, and I'll just go ahead and select this. And I will add a point over here. And then I will add one more point over here. And then I will select this point and select Delete on my keyboard. So as you can see that by doing this whole process, we have get rid off, you know, the line that was lying over here. So this is pretty much it. And now the last thing that we are going to do is we are going to create the lock of our door. So I just select this shape and then I will create a duplicate copy of this shape and bring it towards the center. And now I'm going to add some points over here to create the lock. So using the pen tool, what I'm going to do is I will add 1 over here and then 1 at this 80. And then I will just squared and isolate this bath and just get rid of all the extra, you know, garners and shapes and everything else, except for this line segment over here. So now as you can see that we have this line segment over here. And now we'll just make some tweaks and bring this towards the center of this whole shape. And make sure that alignment is right. I think this is good enough. Just make sure that alignment with the icon guide at this ADR is good enough as well. So I will just decrease it and do the same for this part as well. And now what I'm going to do is I will just increase the stroke size a little bit more. So 12 pixels is good enough. So, yeah, as you can see that our Eigen is ready. Now just go ahead and just make sure that from the bottom and from the dog, the agonist properly aligned. So I will just go ahead and select the whole icon, the shapes that are inside the icon, and group them together into one single group. And from here, I will select this option to align the whole icon in the middle of our artboard. Just like that. So once our icon in the outline style is ready, I will go ahead and create the fillStyle of this icon. So let's go ahead and do that. So now let's create a duplicate copy of our art board and create the fillStyle. So just keep a backup copy of our icon for the safe side, like we have been doing before in our glosses. So I will select the whole icon and create a duplicate copy and bring it outside the art board. And then what I'm going to do is I'm going to select this icon. And then from the objects menu, I'm going to expand all the shapes. So as this pop-up appears, where I'm going to do, make sure that the fill and a stroke option is selected. And from here I will select, Okay, and I can create a backup of this one as well and bringing it towards the bottom or the top wherever you want. And then I will select this whole shape or the whole icon. And from the shapes Mort, what I'm going to do, I will select the first option. And then one by one by selecting them the corners from insight, I will just get rid off this area. I will press Delete on my keyboard. And then what I'm going to do is I will get rid of this shape as well. And I can use my shape builder to do that. So I will press Shift M on my keyboard. That is my shortcut command. If you do not have that shortcut command set, you can do that as well. Otherwise, from hair you can see that we have Shape Builder Tool over here. So we can select that and then pressing Alt on my keyboard. I will go ahead and just like that, I will hover on this shape. Now in the next step, what I'm going to do is I'm going to apply the same steps for the other areas, but processes a little bit different. I will first of all select this shape, the arrow, and create a duplicate copy of this arrow on the top. And then what I'm going to do is go to Objects options. And from there I will go to Path Options. And from here I will select Offset Path. And as you can see over here, we have offset path option in this dialogue box. What it does is it increase the stroke size, but that stroke size is basically inside the fillStyle, not enough stroke option. I will just, you know, degrees this stroke area and I will decrease it all the way towards five. I think that is good enough. And then I will hit, Okay. Now I have a shape, something like this. In the next step, what I'm going to do is I will select this shape over here and bring it down. And now I will just make sure that this is connected with the shape towards the mortem. And now what I'm going to do is I will select the whole shape and create a backup copy at the back. So from my Layers menu, I will create a backup copy of this compound path. So I will go ahead and press Control C and Control B on my keyboard and just lock that layer. Now what I'm going to do is I will select this layer and from the shape modes, I will select this first option. Now the whole path is closed. Now what I'm going to do is I will select this point or this corner. And I will press Delete 2 times on my keyboard. So after doing that, I will just hide this, you know, as you can see. And then I will select this option. And I will just go ahead and make some adjustments. First of all, I will just around my corners, something like that. Now in the next step, what we are going to do is we are going to make the other adjustments. So I will just decrease the opacity for a while. So that once I have done with my adjustments and I can just go back again. Now what I'm going to do is I will increase the size of this area and bring it towards the top. Just like that. And then I will make sure that this is properly aligned towards the front as well. Just like that. And now we are going to work on our compound bot, this bet. And in order to do that, what we are going to do is we'll select this and isolate the bed. And just we need to do is we just delete the extra areas that are outside. So first we get rid of this area and then we get rid off this area. And you can see that there is a hole between the whole design. So way to get rid of that. So what do we need to do is we will just select both of these points on our keyboard. We will press control J. And then we'll do the same thing for the upper open area as well. So now our points are connected and now as you can see that we have our ADR OS properly set. So you can see that our arrow is coinciding with our designs. So what we need to do is we will select this stroke option that we created earlier. And then we will select this path. And using the shape builder tool once again, we will delete all the intersecting ships. So as you can see, just like that, we have created our design inside the fill. Now the final adjustments, we will select the corners and make them rounded again. So now what we are going to do is we are going to select our whole design and press Control G on our keyboard to group the whole artwork together into one single group. And if you want to scale it, you can do that as well. And scale it properly with the icon guide. So as you can see, our hair, our icon is ready in the fillStyle and line art style. I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 32. Microphone Icon Design: Hi everyone, Welcome back to that loss. In this class, we are going to learn how to create the microphone icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So in order to create the microphone icon, first thing we are going to do is we will grab our rectangle tool. And then from the center of our art board, we'll start creating a rectangle by actually this is a rounded rectangles. So just make sure that dual that is selected is the right one. Right? So here you go. All right, so the height of the rectangle should be a little bit more than we're told that rectangle. So let's her just that and also make the overall proportion is smaller. I will just do that all. The next thing I'm going to do is I will make the stroke size ticker. Nine pixels is good enough. Now I will just decrease the overall proportions. Just like pad. So O'Hare, overall size is fine. And we'll bring it over here. All right, so now let's go ahead and we will make the corners rounded and convert this whole rectangle into the Oval. Not exact, but the rounded edges must be there. So it looks something like a rounded rectangle. Alright, so the next thing we are going to do is we create a duplicate copy of this rounded rectangle and bring it towards Martin. And now we'll increase the width of this shape. Once done, we will again make the corners rounded up this big rectangle so that it matches the other shape that is above. And now we isolate the shape and select the upper corners. And then we will move them towards the bottom. Now we'll go ahead and add up wind in the center of our shape using the pen tool. And then we will delete these points so that we end up having a shape like this. Now I'll select both of these edges and we will connect them. The words got DOP, and align it with, I can guide you. This is good enough towards this point. Now in the next step, what we are going to do is we are going to create the stand of the microphone. So let's go ahead and grab the line segment tool. And then we create a line in the center. And in the next step we will create another line. And also duplicate the line that we have earlier created. That's totally up to us that how we want to do it. Just make sure that the edges are appropriately aligned with the line or the icon guide. Now one thing we need to make sure is that the corners or the edges of these lines must be rounded as well. So we'll select them and go to the stroke options. We'll select the clip settings as around it. So this will give us a shape, something like that. So we have created our icon, but now what we need to do is we can add some details to our icon. And in order to do that, what we'll do is we'll go ahead and. At the sides we will create a few more lines in the smaller size. Now we'll get a duplicate copy of these lines. Now, we'll create one more line to create the base of the microphone. So I will create the line segment tool one more time. And then from here, I will create a line towards the edges. And just make sure that nothing goes out of the actual main chain. So all my hair, as you can see that our microphone is ready. Now we'll go ahead and group all of these shapes into one single group. And then we'll start creating our icon in the fillStyle. So what we are going to do, we'll create a duplicate copy of our art board. And now we'll keep a backup copy of our microphone and move it towards the outside of the artboard. Now or here, what we are going to do is we will select the whole artwork. And then we'll go to objects menu. And from here we will go to expand options. And from here we will select, Okay. And you can see that our strokes are converted into the fill. So in the next step, what we're going to do is we will select the external area of our shape, or maybe the internal areas. We can select both as well, whatever you feel like. So in my example, I will go ahead and select the internal point and hit Delete on my keyboard. So once I do that, I end up having a shape, something like this. Alright? So I will select all of these and then I can see that I have more shapes inside my design. So what I need to do is I will go ahead and just stretch these shapes so that the size of these shapes is bigger. So I will select them one by one. And then what I'm going to do is I will stress them, something like that. And then I will select my shape. And then I will go ahead and using the shape builder tool from my duals venue. What I will do is I will subtract these shapes from my design. So as you can see, as I hover my mouse on to that extra shapes, by pressing Alt on my keyboard, I will get rid off all the shapes and I will end up having a shape, something like this. So in the next step, what I'm going to do is I will select all of these shapes inside my design. And from shape Moore's, I will select the first option. So all of the shapes are now a united. And now I will go ahead and select all of the shapes together into one single group. So now you can see that my Eigen into fillStyle and the line art style is ready. So now I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 33. Mute Icon Design: Hi everyone, Welcome back to duck loss. In this class we are going to learn how to create the mute or loudness icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first of all, I will go ahead and create the Mute icon. And we are going to create these two Eigen side-by-side. First, we are going to create the Mute icon, and then I will show you how to create loudness icon inside Adobe Illustrator. So first of all, I will grab my rectangle tool. And then from the center of the art board, I will start creating our rectangle. So as you can see, I have created, It's our angle over here. Now what I need to do is I will bump up the size of this rectangle. All stroke, all the way up to nine pixels. Okay? And now I will make the corners rounded. All right, so next thing we are going to do is that I will just make sure that this is on the right side. So I will bring it on the center, and then I will create a duplicate copy off this rectangle. And then I will bring that duplicate copy towards other side. There's like that. And now what I'm going to do is I will increase the size, but for this side only. So I will just go ahead and using my direct selection tool. I will select the corners. And then I will increase the size of this corner all the way up to this point. And I can see that this matches this Eigen guide over here. And I will do the same thing for the lower part. All right, so S1S2 do this. You can see that I have this kind of shape. So now what I need to do is I will go ahead and I will combine both of these shapes. One shape is a rectangle and the other shape is kind of polygon or distorted rectangle. And before I do that, just make sure that this rectangle is a little bit more in vet. So I will just go ahead and increase the width a little bit more. All right, so now I will select both of these shapes and from my shape modes, I will select the first option. So you can see I have achieved this kind of look. One thing I am noticing over hair there, the height is more. So I will just adjust my height a little bit. So I will select these two points over here. And I will move them towards the bottom. And then I will do the same for the lawyer points. And then I will select both of these points as well, and I will move them forward. So now you can see that this looks much better. The speaker part is ready. Now what we will do is we'll go ahead and start creating the gross or maybe dark clothes icon that will show that the speaker is mute or the sound is nude. So from here, I will simply grab the line segment tool, and then I will create our diagonal line on that top of the speaker. Now, it's up to you that if you want to create that diagonal line from this side towards decide, or maybe the other way around. So that's totally up to you. In my case, I'm going to create this line in this direction. Just make sure it aligns with the Eigen guide. Now, just make sure that this is on the right sport as well. So I think that this is not looking so good. So what I do is I will just select the whole shape, the line segment. And then I will make that transformation. And I will select the reflect option. And this to me looks way better. Or the other thing that I can do is that I will go ahead and make the angle of rotation a little bit different, maybe something like this. And then I will hit, Okay, and next step I will do is. I will select this point and I will bring it towards this side. And just make sure that make few adjustments. And when it looks good and visually appealing, I can stop our day or so after making a few adjustments and making visual balance, I think that this looks way better than before. So in order to make it a little bit more better visually, what I can do is I can just make some gaps between the two shapes. So in order to do that, first thing I will do is I will just create a duplicate copy and keep it as a backup outside my art board. And then I will select the speakership. And using the pen tool, I will go ahead and add some points on my shape. Now I will select the center point and delete it. In the same way, I will add some points over here as well. So it looks something like this. So this is how I will create gaps between the shapes so that we can create our dimension. And now my icon is complete. So now I will go ahead and create our duplicate copy off my artboard to create this Eigen into the fillStyle. So let's go ahead and do that. In order to make my icon inside the fillStyle, I will make use of this Eigen instead of the cycle. So first of all, I will create a duplicate copy of my artboard and bring it over here. And then I will delete my icon from this artboard and bring this icon over here. So now one thing simply I will do is I will select this shape and I will hit Shift X on my keyboard to create this icon into the fill. And then I will go ahead and do right-click. And I will select, isolate, selected bot option, and then I will just let the corners. By selecting the corners, I will just round them a little bit like this. Now, I will just match these corners with the lines of I can guide. So this part is good enough. Now, I will go ahead and I'll select this line, and then I will go to objects menu. And from here I will expand this line. So as soon as I expand my line, you can see that my line is converted into stroke. So now I will go to objects menu again. And then from there I will go to path. And from there I will select the offset path option. And now you can see that I have this offset option over here. Now I will drop down this offset value all the way to the 5, 6, 7 value is cold enough. So I will do that and select, Okay, now I will select the offset value of that shape that I have just created. And then I will select this shape at the back, the speaker and his choosing Shift M on my keyboard, I will select the Shape Builder tool and then using the Alt Option, or by pressing the Alt on my keyboard, I will start hovering the mouse on my extra ship that is selected. And now you can see that I have a Jeep does kind of look at all the shapes that we're extra have been deleted. And then what I will do is I will just increase the stroke size of this line a little bit more. Maybe three points is good enough. So you can see by doing that, I have achieved is kind of loop. Now one more time, I will select the whole shape and expand it again. From here I will select Expand option, and then I will de-select the speaker option or speakership. And then from the shape modes, I will select the first option to expand and make unite the lines. So now you can see that I have achieved this kind of Fluke for my fill icon and my icon in the fillStyle is ready as well. So I will select all of these shapes and group them together into one single group. And if I have note group my line art, I can then I will group that as well. So I will go ahead and do that. Now you can see both of my icons in the fillStyle. Line art style are ready. Alright, so one more thing I will do over here is that I will create my icon for the loudness. All right, so here I will select this artboard and then I will bring it towards bottom. And then from here I will delete this gross icon. And then I will select this shape and both of these points and press Control J on my keyboard to join both of these shapes. And now if something is out of place, because you're going to see that this was appointed. I delete it. So in order to get that point back, what I can do is I can just select this shape and press Control C and Control F on my keyboard to get that duplicate shape of this old design. And then I will go to Transform options and reflect and make sure that the angle is 0. It goes less time we change the angles so it just remember what values were added before. And now he's using this horizontal option. We will make x's as flipped. So now we have these two icons. Just make sure that both of these icons are properly aligned together. So I will select both of these, and then from the alignment options, I will just align them. So over here you can see that I have a line my Eigen properly. Now, I will make sure that my opacity is right. And then I will select the whole design. Again. Keep our duplicate copy in case we mess up anything. So now I will select this again and go to objects menu. And from there I will expand the whole design. What I'm going to do is once I have this fill options or fill shapes, I will go to the Shape mode and from there select the first option so that the shapes are properly grouped together. So now in the next step, what I'm going to do is in order to make the loudness, what I'm going to do is I will move the chef, tours the other side first, and then I will start creating some circles. So first of all, I will grab the circle tool or the Ellipse tool. And then from the center of the art board, I will start creating this kind of ellipse. And then I will convert it into the line art style, increase the value all the way up to nine. And then in the next step, I will create a duplicate copy of this circle. And then I will decrease the size of that duplicate value. And then I will create one more duplicate design or the shape. And then I will increase the size, something like this. And then I will select all of these circles and then we'll group them together into one single group. And then I will select the isolated selected group option. And using the direct selection tool, I will select the points at the back and press delete so that I achieve this kind of look. And then I will move this shape towards this side. And you can see I have this kind of shape now achieved. But I will decrease the size of this shape, right? And then what I'm going to do is I will move this shape towards the speaker. And then I will move it just to make sure that to measure the spaces between the gaps. Yeah, so this is the perfect part where I can have the space between the speaker and this waves that are coming out of the speaker. So this basically represents the loudness and this is a speaker. So now I will just go ahead and select both of these shapes and group them together into one single group. And align them in the center of the art board. So now in the line art style, our Eigen is ready. Now let's go ahead and create a duplicate copy of our art board. And then we'll go ahead and start working on the fill style icon. So in order to do that, we'll select this shape first and ungroup all the shapes. And then from the inner areas I will select one or two points and press Delete 2 times on my keyboard so that I can achieve this kind of shape. So there is nothing much to do in the fill style icon for the cyclin. This is pretty much it. Yes, What you can do is you can just increase the stroke size of these waves. So they are already perfectly fine. So I'm not going to do that, but if you aren't to do, you can do that as well. So I will just group them together into one single group. And then as you can see, that our line art style icon and the fillStyle icon for the loudness is ready. So I will go ahead and see you in the next class. So I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 34. Headphone Icon Design: Hi everyone, Welcome back to duck loss. In this class we are going to create the headphone icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So basically you can use it for multiple purposes. For example, in one scenario, maybe you can be using it for the playing back or playback music. Or maybe in some other scenarios you can be using it for showing that you're providing support. So in order to create does support icon, you can be using it for that purpose as well. So let's suppose in this scenario, we are creating a support icon. So you can call it a support icon for creating our illustration. So let's go ahead and start creating our item. And in order to do that, first thing that I will be doing is I will grab my circle tool. And then from the center of my art board, I will start creating the circle. So I will create one circle all the way towards this point. And then I will create one more circle. Or maybe I can duplicate this circle and make it a little bit smaller. Then I will select both of these circles and make the stroke size 9. Just made sure that the space or the gap between both of these circles is perfectly right, So that they do not feel congested. Now we'll select both of these points and then I will press Delete on my keyboard to get rid of the upper area. And then I will select the smaller or the inner circle, or the inner semicircle. And then I will increase the width of this circle all the way towards this point. Just make sure that this matches the bigger circle by stretching the whole circle. And then once we are done, we will go ahead and start creating the sides of this headphone. But before that, we'll just let both of these shapes and move them towards the top. Now or here, I will select the Line Segment tool and start creating a line from this point all the way towards the bottom. And then what I'm going to do is I will grab the rectangle tool and then create a rectangle over here. And then I will add just the height of this rectangle. And then now I'll create a duplicate copy of this rectangle. Once we are done, I will select these two external points or the corners of this rectangle, and then I will make them rounded. Now I will select this rectangle and move them towards outside a little bit. I can also move it so that I can keep it on the right position. And now I will adjust the other part of my headphone. So I will select this and increase the height of this rectangle. Now, I will make it close to the other side. Just make sure you select both of these shapes and align them properly. Now I will select this shape and make the corners rounded. So now what I'm going to do is I will select both of these points and increased our top, this shape as well. And then I will select both of these shapes. And then I will create a duplicate copy. And then I will bring it to the other side. And I will flip the orientation. And then I will align these two points. So you can see that the basic headphone is properly aligned and design. So now I will go ahead and start working on the mind of the headphone. So in order to do that, first thing that I will do is I will select the lawyer area and then I will just move it towards the top. So now in the next step, I will start designing Microsoft icon. And in order to do that, I will go to the line segment tool. And from there I will select this arc tool and then I will create an arc towards this side. Just make sure that the arc property comes inside the headphone. Now in the next part, what we are going to do is we will create our rectangle. And then I will make the corners rounded and increase the width. And I will select both of these shapes and increase the height a little bit there. So as you can see that our icon is ready, and now we'll go ahead and start creating our icon in the fillStyle. So let's go ahead and create our duplicate copy of our art board. And now what we are going to do is we will select the whole artwork. We will go to the objects menu, and then we will go to the expand options and expand our outlines. Now is using the shape builder tool. We can get rid of all the spaces inside these ships. So we will select our shape builder tool and we will keep pressing the Shift on my keyboard. And we will get rid off all these shapes so that we can achieve this kind of look. You can keep this gap opening if you want to, but if you want to close this one as well, you can do that as well. Marked stat totally up to you. So right now we can see that how it looks if we can create the closing between the upper and lower area. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to create another gap between the Speaker of the headphone and external area. So in order to do that, first of all, I will create a very narrow rectangle and keep out duplicate copy of this rectangle. And then using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of the intersections. And we will do the same thing for the other side as well. And get rid off all the shapes that are in-between cell. Now you can see that we have created this kind of design by making use of different options inside our Adobe Illustrator. So our icon in the fillStyle is ready as well. What we are going to do is we will select all the shapes that we have created and group them together into one single group. And do the same thing for the other side as well. And we'll select all the shapes and group them together for the line art style icon. So now you can see that both of our icons are ready. Now, I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 35. Music Icon Design: Hi everyone, Welcome back to that glass. In this class we are going to create the music icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So in order to create this icon, we are going to select our rectangle tool. And then from the center of our art board, we'll create our rectangle and decrease the height of this rectangle. And then we will increase the stroke width and increase them all the way up to nine pixels and make the corners and edges around it. If the height of the rectangles seem smaller, we can increase them back as well. So in the next step, what we are going to do is we will create a duplicate copy of this rectangle. And then we will make it isolate. And then we'll select both of these edges and delete them. And we can see that we have created a line like that. So we'll select the lower part of the line and increase the height. So now what I'm going to do is I will select both of these shapes and move them upward somewhere at this point. And then if it does not look good, then you can move it a little bit more towards at all. But I think this is perfectly fine over here. So in the next step, what I'm going to do is I will create a circle. So from hair at this point, I will start creating a circle. But this circle does not have to be up proportional circle. This can be moreover like and although Shaw, after designing it, I will move it towards the bottom and align the edge of this oval last corner of the line. And make sure this properly align with the our line segment. And then I will just make sure that this part or this edge also aligns with the line segment. Now what I'm going to do is I will select both of these shapes and make that duplicate copy. And I will bring that duplicate copy on the other side. So the basic structure of our Eigen is ready. But if you want to make it a little bit distorted or maybe a little bit tilted towards the other side. You can do that as well. So first of all, I will just keep the whole group as a backup. And now I will start working on tilted part. So I will select this shape and I will start moving them towards the bottom. This much is good enough. If you feel like otherwise, you can move them towards inside as well. So you can see there this is properly designed. Now in the next step, what I'm going to do is I will select this rectangle and make a duplicate copy of this rectangle and bring them towards the bottom. Now I will delete these corners. And just to add a little bit more detail, what I can do is I will convert this rectangle in do dashed lines. So I can do that something like this. And then as you can see that I have dashed line from one edge to the other edge. But what I can do is I can add some points in the dashed line. And then I can delete the extra ideas. By going to the stroke options. We can just play around with these settings to make sure that everything is properly at the right pace. Now what I'm going to do is I will select all of these shapes together into one single group, and we will align it in the center of the art board. You can also scale the icon if you want to, something like that. But I think this is perfectly fine like this. Now, after creating our icon in the line art style, we'll go ahead and start designing it in the fillStyle as well. So in order to do that, I will create a duplicate copy of my artboard. And then I will start creating design in the fillStyle. First of all, I will keep a backup copy of my icon and then I will select my icon and ungroup all the shapes. And then I will go to the objects menu, and from there I will expand the shapes. And then I will select both of these ovals and convert them into fill. And then I will select this rectangle and convert it into fill SAML and move it a little bit towards that. Nope. Now we will select all of these shapes and go to the objects menu and expand all of these shapes. Now I'm going to select this tilted rectangle and all other shapes that are inside the rectangle. And then using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of them. And now I will select all the shapes again. And from ships mode, I will select the first option to merge them together into one single shape. So you can see that our icons, a liner style, and fillStyle are ready. I will go ahead and see you in next class. 36. Equalizer Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to class. In this class we are going to design the EQ icon or the equalizer icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. So first of all, I will grab my circle tool. And then from the center of the art board, I will start designing our circle. And now we will increase the stroke width of the circle all the way up to nine. And then we will center line this circle towards the center of the artboard. And now we'll grab the line segment tool and then we'll create a line on top and a bottom. So now instead of grading and another line, what I will do is I will just duplicate this line and bringing it towards the bottom of our art board. So now I see that the circle is very small, so I will just make it a little bit bigger. Something of this size. So now it looks way better than before. So now what we're going to do is we will group this whole shape into one single group. And then we will create three or four different duplicate copies of this design. Just make sure that our shapes does not go out of the art board. So for our good enough. So I will group all of them together into one single group. And then I will align them in the center of the art board. And then I will make the size a little bit smaller. So now we'll make a few adjustments to our design. So in order to make the design more variable, we will select all of these knobs one by one, and then we will change their position on the art board. So choosing the direct selection tool, first of all, I will select this circle and the corresponding points. And I will position them towards the bottom. And now I will select other two as well, just like before. And similarly, now I will select the last one and then I will add just a bit as well. So now as you can see that I have achieved this kind of design look. Now, one thing I can add to my design is that I will select all of these strokes and then going to the Stroke option, I will select the first option in the camps, the middle one, and then the corner point as well. So by doing this, I can achieve this kind of rounded edges look. So now most of the part of our design is ready. One last thing that we can do to make our design more better is that I will go to my shapes too. And from there I will select Rectangle tool. And then from the center of the art board, I will create our rectangle. And now just make sure that I will make the corners of the rectangle around it. So now you can see that our design is ready in the line art style. You can also make it in the word eagle style, something like this. If I can rotate it and you can see and you can also make it in the horizontal style. So I think this one is looking better. So let's move forward with this one and now we'll go ahead and start designing our design. In the fillStyle. I will create our duplicate copy of my art board. And then I will drag it on the other side. And now I will just keep our duplicate copy of my design for the backup. So I will select that and just move it over here. So first thing I need to do is I will select. Design the rounded rectangle, and then I will convert it into the fill. And now I will make this bigger. And now for a while, I will just go ahead and make this whole shape height for making the other design. So in the next step, what I need to do is I will select all of these shapes and then go to the objects menu. And from there I will expand all of these shapes. So now here I'm going to tell you one trick where I will transform all of these shapes together by keeping their size and their position on their respective places. So in order to do that was thing I need to do is I will select all of these shapes. And then I will create a duplicate copy of these ships. And then what I need to do is the shape that is above that will lead to be selected. And then I will go to objects menu and cross-walk menu. And from Transform menu I will select Transform each option. So as you can see, as I have selected that transform each option, you will see this kind of dialogue box. From here. I will need to select my values as 125. You can select the values on your own choice, but I am just making the values 125. So now you can see that all of my shapes are getting bigger, but at the same time, the position is same as it is. So now I will select okay, on my keyboard. And as you can see that the other shape is behind and shape that has now the bigger size is r dot dot. So now I will go ahead and select all of these lines. And now using the shape builder tool, I will just get rid of extra shapes. So you can see that I have created this kind of gap and free-space between the circle and the lines. So this is the kind of shape that we want to achieve. Now I will select all of these shapes together into one single group. And we will go ahead and create a duplicate copy of this design as well, and keep them out of the artboard. Now what we are going to do is the shape that we hide before. We'll make that visible. And then we'll make a duplicate copy of this shape as well. And we will hide that again. Now I will select this whole shape and then using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of all the extra shapes. So now you can see that I'm getting this kind of flock and I will make that for all of these other shapes as well. So now you can see after making all the adjustments and getting rid o fall shapes, I have achieved this kind of look. So I will now select the whole shape and group that together into one single group. And now as you can see that our design in the fillStyle and line art style is ready. I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 37. DJ Disk Icon Design: Hi everyone. Welcome back to Douglas. In this class we are going to design that DJ Disk icon. So without any further ado, let's get started. In order to create this icon, the first thing that we need to select is go to our Tools menu. And from there, we will select the ellipse tool. And from center of our art board will start creating several circles. So this Eigen is all about the circles. So the only thing that we are going to need is circle. And then later on we will be needing other different tools. So first of all, I will draw a circle just like that. And I can see here we have fill inside, just get rid of the fill. So now I have a simple circle. Now I will increase the stroke width of the circle all the way up to nine. All right, so now here you can see that we have our basic circle. And now I will create our duplicate copy of this circle and make it smaller. And I will need it in the fillStyle. In the next step, what I need to do is I will create another duplicate copy of the circle and make it bigger. And then in the next step, I will create another duplicate copy and make it bigger one more time. And now again, I will repeat the process and make my final copy of the circle. And now in the next step, what I'm going to do is I will select both of these circles and then I will rotate them all the way up to 45 degree angle. So once I have rotated my circle, what I'm going to do is I will go ahead and add some points using the pen tool. So on all four sides, I'm going to add these points. And now I will repeat the process for the inner circle as well. So now basically what I need is I am looking for all these circles inside. So I want to achieve something like our crook. So in order to do that, what I'm going to do is I will select both of these points over here. And then these points over here, and press Delete on my keyboard. And you can see that I have achieved this kind of look. And from here, I will select these two points, and these two points and delete my keyboard. So you can see I have achieved this kind of arc. Look. If you want to achieve a bigger our clerk, you can do that as well. And in order to do that, all you need to do is select that top and bottom points only. And then you can see that I have a GIF does kind of look with the bigger arcs. And simply, we need to do is we need to rotate this all the way up to 0 degrees. Now, you can see all these shapes are properly aligned with the Eigen guide. Now in the next step, what I need to do is I will select these arcs again, and I'll go to my Stroke option. And from there, I will make the edges rounded. Now I will make a stroke variation in my design. And for that, I will select this circle and I will decrease the value of stroke with all the way down to five. Or maybe if five is very little, then I will make it seven. And I've been now at this point it looks way better. It will also make it smaller. So we can have a better visual balance. So now as you can see that all of our design is ready. So now what I need to do is I will select all of these shapes together into one single group. And then now more they need to do is I will go ahead and start creating this icon into the fillStyle. So in order to do that, first of all, I will create a duplicate copy of my art board. And then in the next step, what I'm going to do is I will create a duplicate copy of my icon as well and keep it outside the art board. And now I will start working on my design. So first of all, in the first step, what I need to do is I will ungroup all of these shapes. And then I will select my circle and convert the stroke into the fill. And now I'm going to increase the size. And now in the next step, what I'm going to do is, as you can see, all of these shapes are in the stroke. So I will select all of these shapes and then go to objects menu. And from there, I will expand all of these strokes and convert it into Fill. So now you can see all of my strokes are converted and now they are in the fillStyle. So now I will group them and then I will bring the circle back. And now in the next step, what I am going to do is I will select all of these shapes. And using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of all these inner design shapes. So now I will select my shape builder tool, and I will start hovering the shape builder tool onto these shapes. Now, I will select all of these shapes together into one single group and delete everything extra that is outside the art board. So now you can see that my design inside dot fillStyle and the line art style icon is ready. Now I will go ahead and see you next class. 38. Heart Beat Icon Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the glass. In this class, we are going to design a very interesting icon that is going to be having a lot of different design styles and a lot of different tools that we will be using inside our Illustrator. And there it is, the heartbeat Eigen. So the dose that we are going to choose, this loss are the one that maybe we have not actually shoes before. So at this point in this class, we are going to design our icon with the arc. So Let's go to the Tools menu. From here. You can select this call option. And you can see that we have different options. Inside. We have line segment tool, we have spiral tool, we have Arc tool, and some other tools as well. So our hair, we will select the arc tool. And from the side of the art board, we will start designing the arc all the way towards the bottom. So let's zoom in a little bit inside the artboard. And from this corner, we start creating the art. And now on this point, we will zoom in and using the pen tool, we'll add a point. And now we will select this one and delete it. And now we will select this line that we added. And then we will bring it towards the center. As you can see, we have bring this line all the way towards the center of our art board. Now, we will move this point towards the bottom. So we have achieved this kind of look of the arc. Now we will make a few more adjustments by selecting the pen tool. We will select this handle and move it all the way up towards this I can guide. And now we'll select this handle of our other point, and then we will start moving it towards the bottom. So now you can see that we have achieved is kind of curvy look. So now in the next step, what we are going to do, again, we will select the arc tool and from the center of the art, Berg will start creating another arc, and now we will rotate it just like that. So you can see that we have achieved this kind of look. And now we will select both of these points from this arc and the other arc we created earlier and join both of these points by pressing Control J on our keyboard. Now we'll go ahead and make a duplicate copy of this whole shape and bring it on the other side. Now only make this copy flipped. And now we will bring this shape towards the center of the art board. Now we'll select both of these corner points and press Control J on our keyboard to join both of these points. And now we'll do the same thing for the upper points as well and join them together. So now you can see that we have achieved this kind of look. But we are going to create heart icon. So to create the heart icon, what we need to do is we need to create a rectangle in the center so that we can achieve the upper corner of the heart. So first of all, from the center we'll start creating our rectangle, something like this. And then we will rotate it and start moving it towards the top. Now we'll select both of these shapes and using the shape builder tool, we will get rid off the upper area. So you can see that we have this kind of look. Now I'll select this point in the center and we'll start moving it towards autumn. Now we'll select both of these corners. And then using this handle will make them rounded. And you can see that we have achieved this kind of heart icon. This way to make a few adjustments so that we can make it visually more appealing. A node will select the whole shape, and if we will transform it, we're legally. And you can see that by making a few adjustments, we have achieved this kind of look of the heart. Now we'll select this shape again and we will align it towards the center of the artboard. And we will create our duplicate copy of this shape and bring it outside the art board. Now, we will make use of our Pen tool to create the beats for this hardship. But before that, Let's select the shape and increase the stroke width all the way up to nine, so this is more visible. And then we'll select the stroke option and make the corners rounded. And now is using the Pen tool will start making the B. So by using the Pen Tool can see that I've just creating different lines and diagnose so that I can G the icon. Now, I will see if I just go ahead and rotate it so that it looks better. And maybe now we can select the central points of this beet shape and bring it towards the center. Something over here so that we have a more visual barriers. So most of the part of our icon, a steady there is just one edge just meant that we need to do. And before that, I will just keep a backup copy off my icon and bring it outside the art board. And now in the next step, I will just select my hardship. And I will add a few points. So I will select this point and delete it. So now I have a gap opening between the heart and the heartbeat. And I will do the same thing for the other side. So you can see we have achieved this kind of look. So now what we are going to do is we are going to select the whole shape and then make it a little bit smaller. So over here, just make sure that our design of the icon does not go out of the margins of our Eigen guide. So you can see by adjusting the size I have, make it better. So now I will select all of these shapes together into one single group. And now we are going to create this icon into the fillStyle. So before I move forward and start doing that, one thing I need to do is I make sure that to make the icon inside of a style, I cannot use this kind of shape because this whole shape is basically the open shape. As you can see, I just deleted all of the points. So in order to make the icon in the fillStyle, I will make use of this copy over here that I made earlier, but make sure that the size and the height of this icon is similar to this one. So I will select this. And from here, I will select the height and copy the height. And now I will select this cycle. And then I will go ahead and paste the height values over here. And then you can see that my whole design is now smaller. Now I will go ahead and create a duplicate copy of my art board. And now I will delete this icon from here. And I will bring this cycle inside the artboard. And now you can see that again over here, these two lines are going outside margin areas. So I will select these points and bring it inside. And now one thing I'm going to do is I will select this shape. And then I will ungroup all of these shapes. And then I will select the heart-shaped only and convert it into fill and make the adjustment to the size. Now I will select this heartbeat shape and I will create a duplicate copy, and I will increase the stroke value. And now I will go to the objects menu. And from there I will select the experiment option. And over here I will click, Okay. Now you can see IoT if this kind of look. So now I will select this shape at the heart. And then using the shape builder tool, I will get rid of all the extra ADRs. So now you can see that I have achieved this kind of look. There is a gap and space between the heartbeat that is going inside and the heart itself. Now I will select the broken area of the heart and then I will move it towards the top and the bottom media as well, and move it towards the bottom. So as I do that, you can see that all the adjustments are properly made. Now, I will select all of these shifts together and group them into one single group. From the objects menu, I will go to the Expand option again, and I will expand the whole artwork. So now you can see that my icons in the fillStyle and the line art style are ready. So now I will go ahead and see you in the next class. 39. How icons impact our everyday life: So now when our work related to learning how to design is done, now, we'll move forward and learn the impact of these icons in our everyday life. As a user, the human brain processes the visual dead-on 90 percent faster than textual information. That's why at the impact of these items is so powerful that when the idea is presented in front of people in form of graphics, it activates the neural pathways in our brain. And the mind of a person translates the data ten times faster than the ordinary information and their desires. And when you are out there in the shopping mall or airport, or maybe a dumb metro station. And you are looking for a ticket counter, EDM machine, or maybe the washroom. And as soon as you look at that big sign, even from far away distance, it will grab your attention instantly and without reading the corresponding text, your brain will automatically make the connection between the information and the destination that you are looking for. With the past couple of years with more advancements in visual design industry, people are now getting more and more aware about their understanding of part of visual design communication. Icons are very simple and easy to understand. But at the same time, this is so important when it comes to the visual communication design and solving the problem for because at that stage, these visual cues are really responsible to transmit a whole lot of information without using a single forest. And there's where the skills of our professional product designer comes into play. Where they have to make sure to design and communicate the whole idea in simple and easy to identify Huygens that everyone can understand and relate with their own life story. 40. Final Thoughts: So before we wind up with this class, Let's talk about our project narrative will have to submit for this course. Just make sure that you divide the whole project into two different sections. The first one is the research process. And in the second round, you will provide the solution for a given situation or scenario. And last but not least, do share your project in our discussion section, I would love to see that if you have any concerns, just feel free to reach out to me. I'm just one leak away. I really hope that you enjoyed this course and learned something valuable oil concept of ICANN designing and strategy. This is one use of signing off.
