Project Description

Write a headline for a home page.

This is the first piece of copy that the visitor will see, so it needs to grab attention but also encapsulate what you can do for the visitor.

You can write a headline for your own business, a business you know, a business you have worked for in the past, or just make a business up.

Key things to know before drafting your headline:

  • What are the needs/problems/pains of potential customers visiting your site? What are they looking for? Why have they clicked your site?
  • How can you meet their needs and answer their questions? What are the specific benefits of the products/services that the business can offer to customers?
  • What are the values of your company?
  • What makes your company different from your competitors?
  • Who is your target audience? This will help you decide on the tone & style of the headline and the rest of your home page copy.
