I have been photographing since 2007. That's when I decided to move to the UK and explore. Photography has always been my love, however, at the very beginning, I wasn't great. I was trying to learn how to become a professional photographer and develop my own style. After a few years of self-teaching, I've graduated from The New York Institute of Photography course in Professional Photography and Business. My focus is on portrait photography because I think you can tell so much by looking into someone's eyes.

1. Intro: Hi guys. Welcome, Ms. Catia and I'm a professional photographer. I've been photography for over 11 years and I have graduated at the New York Institute of photography course in professional photography. In this lesson, I'm going to explain how to take beautiful portraits of kids. I will be talking about the way I think fixtures and how to capture those beautiful emotions. I will also show you how I added pictures and how you can fix photos which you haven't taken properly. I will also give you some tips and tricks on how to pose your subject and how to tell a story through the image. In this lesson, you will learn how to take natural, amazing wall, remembering pictures of their tiled model and how to take advantage and take some great family pictures to. You can also take this kind of images. Just watch this class, then you will find out how to do it. 2. Technical part: In this chapter, we are going to talk about equipment. What sorts of camera do you need to take? Beautiful portraits of kids. There is a wide range of choice. What camera you can get. But remember it's not a camera, but photographers who takes the picture? I take my pictures with cannons 60, but it's not always been like that. I started from pretty basic, underachieved the SLR. It's important that you can change and adjust your settings on your camera. It's really important if you can shoot in the raw format as well. But if you are in a point of your life that you would like to invest in your equipment. I would rather invest in a lens than a camera. Choosing good lens can be difficult as well. It depends what you want it for. Four, portrait photography is the best lenses are 50 millimeters on a bolt because they will give you nice broad background. The lens I use as the one you can see in the picture. Don't get me wrong. I did not start from this camera I told you about, and this lands, it can be rather expensive, but as you cook, as with photography, you would just want to get better and better equipment. If you are just starting out. Don't worry about expensive lens or a camera, it's important that you learn about exposure, about composition, and about how to make your subjects stand out in a frame. To be honest, the most important is that you get the camera where you can adduce your settings manually. Why is that? Because you want to learn photography. You wants to learn how to control your camera and he wants to take control of the images you take. I have also created this child, which will help you to understand the technical aspect of taking pictures. You can find it in description part of the lesson and downloaded for yourself by clicking on the download link and keep it. Go back to it whenever you want. 3. Location (1): In this chapter, we are going to talk about location. Location is extremely important in any type of photography, especially when he wants to take beautiful portraits. In this lesson, I'm going to talk about a location which I think is the best to choose when it comes to taking pictures of kids. So stay with me and I'll explain more in a few seconds. Dislocation is sort of parking, gates said, and why am I recording peacocks even though they're in a cage? And just want to show you that there's something in a part. What will amuse person photograph, in this case, a child. Kids usually like animals and nature. That's why it's good to go to some sort of park. So they have something to do for themselves as well. In this location, what hey, mom will be doing is to Charlene, hey, what sort of stones she was supposed to look for? I haven't realized what were they doing actually, until I went with them to Seaside on her mom explained to me that they're looking for Lucky stones and the stones are little bit see-through. And so that gave me a chance to take very memorable picture. This is the picture I was talking about. Alexandra, my model in this picture was trying to see if it's a lucky stones. And the stones are little bit see-through. So it gave me a chance to take this beautiful image. And her mom will remember it for a very long time. If you choose a pike as your location, it's a great idea because in parks you don't only have attractions for kids, normally playgrounds or animals to see. The also have very photogenic locations like for example, this one. Dislocation is basically very long path. And locations like that are great for amazing depth of field. Also, it usually is called depth to it in terms of light as well. In this case, called the bright side at the beginning of the path. And it goes darker as you go deeper into a pipe following that path. So that keeps a very nice dark background. Console. Don't forget to take some props, like for example, glasses, grasses, very photogenic, as well as umbrella, which is another thing we took for the photo shoot. And I will show you later. Facts you can get with umbrella as well with glasses. Like in this picture, you can ask your model to put them on and take them off. When you ask your model to put the glasses on and off on her face, you can often get this kind of edgy, very emotional in a way, images as she's looking. 55, influence pays and trying to notice something for and trained to recognize someone as very powerful image. In terms of composition here you should always leave more space in a frame to the side that the model is looking too. So I could have done it here better is a cookie place, more to the right, but then I have no space to crop the image. You should pay attention to that. But still, she's got more space on the left side. So once you have decided on a location, what happens next? You should go and see where they forecast, because not every weather is great. To take pictures. You would think that best where there is, when it's very sunny and no clouds, and that's wrong. I'm going to talk about that more in next chapters. But after location C, When is the best weather? On a day? We had photoshopped insulted by whether it wasn't great. But I will explain in a second, why is it so important? The best way you can have on an overcast day? And why it's that, because shadows on your subjects are very soft and the light is a event as well. So when you happen to show it on a day when it's really bright and sunny, but you've got lots of clouds and it's Wednesday, then clouds will be passing. Every few seconds change in light condition, which is difficult to adjust when you should in manual mode. But on the other side, you can look at this kind of effects like in this picture, which gives you a backlight. Next few slides we are going to see what sorts of adjustments I had to make because of the location I chose. That's why it's important what sorts of location you choose, because what your subject is surrounded with and what sorts of crops you use that will reflect a color onto your subject. But you can correct it in Photoshop and I'll show you how in few seconds. Because the model is surrounded by a grass, it changes color bands on a full picture. So then it's good to open the color balance in Photoshop and adjust with towns, shadows and highlights. In a previous slide, I have adjusted net zones, but in this one I'm doing shadows. And the next adjustment will be with highlights. So you can see what sort of numbers and used to even out colors in the image. I wanted to show you a difference in terms of colors as well. Because it's very important. What sort of colors you surround your subjects with. So that's another thing you've got to consider when choosing a location at an hour if you see the difference, but I can image on the left hand side is much more red. There is a red tint to it as well. And in the image on the right hand side, all the colors seem to be the way they are. So the skin tone is skin color, hair eyes are blue and are blonde, and the grass is green. As I mentioned at the beginning, it's very important to choose location where your subject, a child you are going to photograph will have something to do for themselves, meaning they will not be required. If you don't have Kitoi, haven't got experience working with kids. It's really easy to lose the attention of a KID because they just get bored. And we really believe that chosen harc as the location is the best choice for the photo shoot, especially your first for the suit with a mother who is a child. Because there's a lot of things to do for kids, use playgrounds and activities. So subject of your photograph, who is a young model will not get VD and have 20 things to do. So you can capture those amazing moments. 4. Light: In this chapter, I'm going to talk a little bit more about what time of the day is the best to take pictures and what were there is also the most suitable. This is why you shouldn't really take pictures in a direct sun in a very sunny weather because you get tail contrasted shadows, target areas, eyes and a nose, and a 1000 to you look pleasant to us. I she's doing really well and seem to be bothered about fan flashing through her eyes. But definitely I would not recommend that the tall. Also, if you take pictures in an open space for the very sunny weather in the wrong time of a day as well. You might have a problem of your feature is being overexposed. I will show you later in the lesson how to deal with that in post-production. But you don't want all of your pictures to be overexposed. Assert gives you too much work afterwards. In this picture, for example, I took it deliberately in an open space in very good whether direct sun. So you can see how it looks like when it's overexposed. Incoming arrow. In Photoshop, you can click an arrow on the top right corner, and it will make overexposed area red. When you decrease exposure and the red color disappears, which means that picture is not overexposed anymore. Although the picture is not overexposed anymore. But when you're decreased exposure, you can see how dark it becomes and how much contrast there is between highlights and shadows. That's why I would never recommend to take pictures. And they invade whether direct sun and open space. If you couldn't take your pictures on overcast day, I would recommend to try and block it out with some props, like here with umbrella. However, because of very changing light, because of the clouds on a sky, we've caught this picture a little bit overexposed. But I will show you in next chapter is how to fix it in other software. By showing this picture, I would like to get your attention to a corner of their face. The model's face color becomes more pink, little bit radish because of the umbrella. And this is why chosen at time of a day is very important as well. In this picture you can see various soft shadows because the clouds covered a little bit. So you can see how even the shadows and highlights are. There is a lot you can do in a camera or in Photoshop. Like in this picture. You can write enough ice on the whole image and face, which I'm going to show you how to deal with in later chapters. However, I would like to point out that we always should aim to take the best technically pictures you can. Why? Because it makes the good habits and makes him more professional. And what I've learned in my career in photography is that if you get your pictures right on, it saves you huge amounts of time and the time is money. So let's get it right. 5. Accessories: This chapter will be about accessories? Yes, about accessories. And today invoice stance to take some accessories with you. And I'm going to talk about this more in few seconds. One of the accessories you can take with you as umbrella. It will not only protect you from Moraine, but you can get a stunning images with umbrella. You have to remember, umbrella is very photogenic accessory. So you can use it not only for photo shoots with kids, but it will good in any pictures really. It's very photogenic. You have to remember that and you can use it in all different occasions. But you also have to remember what sort of color the umbrellas, because the light is going go through it and it will shine the color of umbrella onto a subject. Here I'm showing you a peek terribly for color and exposure correction. You can see that their umbrella is shine in the pink color of it onto the subject. So you have to bear in mind that it will happen on the same for your clothes. Try to wear neutral colors because if the light is shining from behind and you are in front of your subject, the colors you are wearing where reflect to your subject. However, if that happens, that the color of your accessory or the surroundings is reflecting its color onto your subject. You can then correct it in Photoshop, and I'll show you how to do it in the camera in Photoshop so you can balance it goes out. This picture is after exposure and color correction. If you can ask your model or parents of your model to bring sunglasses to photo shoot because it's very photogenic accessory and it will always give you that additional nice mixture. And that their access or you can take review our sunglasses. Sunglasses are always photogenic and it clogs super super-cooled on such a small model that she is wearing such a cool glasses and it definitely keeps your subject is something to do. So the picture is more dynamic. I ask the model to put glasses on and off and keep repeating that until I took this image. Definitely the accessory must have is the favorite toy of your model. It will not only make your model more relax, feel safer on a photo shot, but it will give emotional field to your picture. There is a chance that you might find some accessory on location, like the feathers she's holding in the picture on the right hand side and showing that summed up. Maybe it's not my favorite picture from the Coke bottle short, but definitely worth keeping in the war as it didn't, because it's something unusual that you might be surprised how kids pose with things they found on location. This image being taken around two years ago when my mother was two years younger. And it was little bit harder to work with her at the time because she was less aware of what is happening. She was more aware that we went through a park and it is going to be a clay. They it was hard to get her attention to do what I wanted her to do. The accessory in this case is hairy little toys she's holding next to her face. I couldn't wait for a better moment to happen because she was very intrigued with something, seems very far away. So instead of waiting for heritage, puts a toy down. I just took that moment and took this picture. Although that accessory is not playing a massive role in a composition. But it was definitely gives you something to imagine. In this case, location plays a massive role. That's why it's important to have a walk around the city and go to different parks because you might notice things like this. A frame, frame in a park. Normally you would go behind it where my models are and try and take a picture, the view for that frame. However, if you are creative, you can use it. Like me. I really encourage you to go and find accessories on a location you are shooting. For example, like this frame. It will give you very unique images and we'll give you a picture, very creative field to it. If there are other people present on a photo shoot, like for example, this pair on the left, who was a friend of the family, ask them to join in that picture. You will never go wrong. If you take few extra shots with friends of the family, you will always give a good impression by doing that. And take as many pictures as you can. Because you will never go wrong if you have something to choose from. And working with kids doesn't always go with plant, although it never really goes with plans. So secure yourself and tried to take as many pictures as possible, but also take time to find great location light under setup. 6. How to Take Beautiful Portraits of Kids (1): How to get the target and how to prepare yourself for the Fatah sold have spoken about in the previous chapters. But how to get started with taking pictures of the tiled. Again before you spite and talk to your models currents. Nobody knows the child. You will be photographing as much as the parents do. They know when the child is getting stressed. They know when the child is interested in something, and especially the child is still a baby, you need the parents you out. If it happens that the same client will book here again in the future to take pictures of the child, talk to them again. Everything changes so fast, the same as we all do when we grow up. We change. As the time goes by, we change our interest and we change ourselves. So talk to parents again and find out what the child is like right now. This is an example of when parents are necessary to help out. Without them, the child will be super scared and I would never take any nice pictures. But it happens that a managed to take quite a few standing for the OS. Another debulking gives you is that if you take pictures of the tiles for my bolt, it will focus the attention of the viewer very well on your subject. And we'll give sensation of innocence. And we'll emphasize the height of the child. Cause obviously children are much smaller than we are. So by doing that, you are emphasizing cuteness and age in what their child might be. I'm not going to lie in this photo showed was quite hard to make my model comfortable on. So she's relaxed, not scared of the camera. At the very beginning when I took my camera out, it's carried her really badly started crying. She didn't know what was going on. And you have to remember that whatever you are equivalent if caught. But the black heavy cameras can be scary. So in this case, I've learned through the experience what I did. I put the camera away to make a little bit more comfortable and I spoke to her mom what was happening. So she obviously noticed that the child is scared of the camera. So what we did, we sat down on a blanket and I tried to win at the child's trust. How did they make the child to trust me? I haven't done much. I just took I think it was a grave or cherry tomato. They brought where the thickening. So I took one of the pieces of day four, the really but I took it and I gave it to her as the bumps sharing with her. So it instantly made her trust me more. That's why it's super important that you talk to the child's parents. Because although it's worked with grape and bribing the model, the grape, which was her own anyway, but it sort of made her feel a spouse. As if I don't want to hurt her, as if I'm sharing with her so I'm work the trust tried to be ready to take pictures all the time, although this picture may not be grading themselves composition in terms of in comparison to other pictures. However, it says so much, there's a little story behind it because the picture before girl is high then mama's face from the camera. When on this picture, mom is trying to sell her face. And finally in this image, we can capture a great emotion and love because everybody is visible, everybody looks good. That ICT is good. And tried to remember not to crop the head of your model with their horizontal. I haven't done it very well in this picture because I haven't managed to composite the way that the horizontal, the end of the crossbite is not happening the way through. Head of, of the model. We photographing kids. You've got to be ready. You've got to be ready with your camera. The copilot and settings. There's no really time to keep changing settings because kids move so fast that if you will be keep changing settings, you will not capture any moment. So periodically to take pictures, prepare yourself before follow, so that is extremely important. They understand it might be hard at the beginning to be prepared with your settings, with a camera and with everything else. But try your best and see what works the best for you. And everything goes well until things go wrong. But those moments are also worth remembering. In this picture, I captured how my models man is trying to tear up her daughter because not a, got a little bit annoyed. I suppose she didn't want to pose for pictures anymore to us a little bit annoyed because there was nothing really to amuse her in that location. And four, there was great location because of the greenery and open space as well. But obviously, the tile to the like, there was no playground, nothing to amuse her. So she got a little bit unhappy. But it's also great moment for you to take pictures because although she wasn't happy and smiling, but the way that marvelous trying to achieve her up and let her know that there's nothing to worry about. Is the moment you want to get out of the Posen. Although you are taking pictures of the tiles, but be prepared to take some family photos. A lot of the parents don't like to be in a picture and the only thing they care about is for the kids to be remembered and photographed. And the most important part about taking pictures is to capture emotions and how to do that. There is no fixed way on how to do it. Definitely one and the most important step you can take S to be ready with your camera. Observe your subject, like in any other poaching photography. See how your subject behaves, what emotions do they show to what sort of activities, and definitely talk to their parents. So, you know what sort of person you are dealing with because at the end of the day, children are people. They are going up. They started to have their own character and their own interests. Definitely after you prepared yourself, you will know the location, you know, the lightened, you know, equipment you're going to take and you spoke to the parents of the model. And most important thing we can do is to be ready to take pictures. Look at last free images you have seen of this boy with his command. First of all, he's not display camera and then he is trying to be tricky and not letting his mom speak. And at the end, given very emotional, big hugs full of love. This image on the other side is showing how important is to be prepared before auto suit as well. Look at the accessories. He's got he's got the whole kit of the warrior and he's got arrow as well made of rows. A country member where was does rose from a think? I think we have gotten it from somewhere. But it's definitely playing a great accessory to the whole image. This image is full of expression. He looks almost as the cupid angel of love trying to hand for the next person that he will make for love. This background was quite easy to find. I haven't prepared and before we found it as we were walking down to apply or where we were going to take pictures. I fought. It will really suit their whole composition since he's had, as you can see in the picture, the whole Warrior kid on his back. And then he used a rose as an arrow. This background We also found on our way to a park. I would like to mention that the best backgrounds are simple backgrounds. If you see my other classes about composition, you will know one of the main roles of composition is to simplify. Although the pattern on this background is quite complicated. I thought it would really go well with the warrior kid. He's carrying on his. But one of the best things I found is to follow the tiled and let them do whatever they parent led them to do. So, for example, if you are on the playground with them, does follow them on different things they are using to play and captured the moment. With photographing kids is extremely important to capture the moment. It is really hard to make children pose the way you wanted them to. It gets easier as they get older, obviously, because you can be more interactive with them. And yes, maybe you can request peel things you want to capture. But the best way I've found is just so follow them around the playground and get day trust. At the beginning, it is really important that the person who photograph, in this case a tiled would trust you. So they know it's not summer creepy person following them around with a camera when they are on a playground. But they know that this part of the great times photo shoot. That's why it's super important that you talk to the parents about what the child is like, what do they like? And so parents under tiled trust, you on a photo shoot, you gain trust by preparing yourself well for a photo shoot so you know what you are talking about and appear professional. 7. Edit in Photoshop camera RAW1: In this chapter, I will show you and explain how i edit my images in Photoshop. I will show you my workflow with rock camera files and we'll explain everything step by step. And it's very important to take your pictures in a raw format. Why is that? First of all, it saves more data about your picture. Second of all, it's so much easier to edit them afterwards, because when you open them in Photoshop, it opens camera where you can adjust exposure and other adjustment almost without losing the quality. When you take your pictures in a row format, then you can open them in a camera. And by clicking on that arrow, which is on the top right corner, you can see which areas of the pictures are overexposed. The red color tells you that this area is overexposed, so we will be trying to fix it later on. When you click on that arrow on the top right corner, you can enable and disable that red color, which shows you which area is overexposed. When you click on the bottom corner of the left side of your screen, you can zoom and zoom out the image and fitted in their frame as well. By clicking on that little brush. You can select areas in wants to adjust. It's very useful to by choosing that branch on the toolbar, on the right hand side, you can paint over areas he wants to adjust. Its a very useful tool because it blends really well and it lets you separate certain areas without affecting others. You can see how I painted over the area which was overexposed and I brought exposure down so the umbrellas even color and this is the same what I'm doing for the background. It's really a good way of separating background from a subject by making a difference in the light. It's very good way to draw attention to your subject. This particle are part of the lesson I have recorded on my laptop. So the Photoshop is impoverished language according change it. I don't know why or how, but all the rest of the lesson have recorded. My computer, so everything will be in English, so it will be easier to follow as well. There's a little brush on top of the sliders, which means that you are painting with that selection. And there is arranged their bottom just next to it. So when you click on it, it means you want the arrays in your latest selection on how to switch from selection to selection. You will see very soon in the lesson, there are little red pin you can see on top of the umbrella means that there is a one of the selections. When you select that bread pin means UI painting with that particular selection. When you choose a range, then it means that you will meet amazing this particular selection. But how to switch from one selection to another. You will see in a second little pink dot appearing and disappearing next to model's hands. It means there is another selection, but it's not been selected. How do I know that? Because the one which is chosen and you are painting with, we'll have a little black dots within a circle. Also. When the circles got little black dot in it, it means that selection is chosen. So when you choose arrays or you will be erased that selection, it will not arrays all of the selections which you have made about that particular one. So if you want to arrays and other one, make sure you click on another dot so that black dot appears within a circle. Okay? Ok. As I said, you can have quite few selections which work separately to each other. So you can choose models, face, light exposure, contrast everything you want. At the moment, I am adjusted so it matches the rest of the light, so it's not too direct. And images more pleasant, but you can recreate it will bet as well. And the way you add another selection to your images by clicking the plus next to the brush. As soon as you click class, Photoshop knows that you are choosing to another selection and it switches back to a brush, which means that you are currently painting with a brush because when you press the arrays and next to it, it means that you are arrays in current selection. The first and probably the most important rule for any portrait is to capture ice of the modal shape. So before selecting the image, make sure eyes are shy because although you can write them them up like I'm doing right now, you can't really get them a 100% sharp in Photoshop. You can sharpen them more. But if you get it wrong on a day, on a set, then it's close to impossible to fix them in Photoshop. You can try, but then they will look unnatural because you can tell where the focus is in the image. So for any budgets you take either the most important point we want to get sharp and focused on. Once you made sure that you took a picture in a right way. So ice obvious subjects are shy. You can always brighten them up or make them more saturated in Photoshop. This is why I think editing pictures in a camera roll in Photoshop is great way to start because you can make so many selections as I have. And my current selection is the red one, black dot in a circle. And to see exactly where i have paint as it by bringing exposure down, you can see black marks. So this is where I have painted with that selection. Thanks. And this is a final image. I hope you enjoyed, edited it with me and believe me, when you showed in a raw format, there is a logic and do with camera roll in Photoshop. And there's a lot you can fix. But always remember to get ice of your Mondelez sharp. You can't really skipped out. It will not be correct in a technical way. 8. How to fix overexposed photo: In this chapter, I'm going to talk about what is my process to fix overexposed photo. First of all, you should try and get your pictures, right? Yes. There is a way to fix overexposed photo. First of all, we should try and get it right without overexposing it. However, the plant happened that you overexposed image. I will show you step-by-step what I do to fix the photo. This chapter has recorded on my computer, so Photoshop is in English. You can now easily see all the adjustments I showed you in the previous chapters. So again, the way I've done it before, I will see what areas are overexposed to clearly see what I have to fix. As I said in a previous chapter, if you click on the arrow on the top right corner, you can see areas which are overexposed. The way you can see it that those areas become bright red. So there's no doubt that despite of the image is overexposed by clicking on the percent number on the bottom left corner and then fit into a view and make my image to be fit that interview. So that's the scale I'm looking at now. And now we are on the main page of adjustments. You can see now how much overexposed the images. And if you are working in the main page, then we will basically change exposure or anything else you want to change of the whole image, which will yes, he make their overexposed areas less exposed, but also that whole image. And if we do it the same way, which I have explained in the previous chapter, by clicking on a brush on the right-hand side, on a toolbar on the right hand side. It will enable us to select areas we wanted to. James. So that's the best way of working around it. I find when working on with the brush tool, the selected area adjustment tool, you don't only have to change exposure, but you can try. What discussion highlights we'll do our white parts of the image, just played with those sliders and see what it looks the best to you. Right now, I'm using the brass adjustments to and I'm adding another announcement points to the image. I'm going to paint the background basically with darker tones. So it can be separated from the main subject. Right now, I'm really bringing exposure down to see exactly where I'm painting. If you are in doubt, you can also press that arrow on the top right corner to see which areas are still overexposed. But I'm pretty sure mine is enabled, so none of the areas are overexposed anymore. So I can paint away and separate background from my main subject. Try and change the saturation slide bar so you can see how intense colors can be. Or you can also with one of the pictures. So it would change towns of the selected area to see what sort of effect is the best for you, because there's nothing better than the creative. Now when I have selected and separated out area, I wanted to adjust which as a background and can really play with saturation colors, darker and lighter tones. So it matches the effect I wanted to get. I've made another selection which will be on the ice. And first of all, I'm on-going really low with highlights and exposures, so I can see where it is exactly as you can see as I'm moving, the slide by background is moving too, which means that I haven't really selected new adjustments. So I'm going to select the arrays and arrays from the ice area. They didn't interview and make sure that I'm choosing another selection. So let's see what selection is being chosen and which is a background. And now I will be painted and under selection onto the ice. Let's click on a little class next to a brush, which means we are adding another selection into an image. And I am selecting it on the ice. So I'm making another selection point. Let's go back to 50%. So it's a little bit zone then. And I will be decreasing the exposure so I can see where I'm painting. And decreasing the exposure is purely for. So you can see exactly where you paint and because as you can see on the left eye of the model, which is on the right-hand side. You can see how I painted with those selection by too much away from the eye. So you have to decrease the exposure to see exactly where your painting. So once you've done that, you will know exactly where to come around. You can choose arrays are too, which is next to a brush and arrays unnecessary selection. So you can make sure the mask, which you have mask out, the area you wants to change is exactly the area you want to change. And now let's play with exposure relates make those eyes really bright. To see that we have selected the right space on an image. And let's adjust them to the point we are happy with. Let's make those eyes little bit more blue, a little bit more saturated. So we are going down the slide vibe and select saturation and move all the way up. Just to see how by doing that, we will change the image back up and play a little bit of other sliders, for example, contrast. You can see how images changing. There is not much of a change, but exposure definitely changes at all. So just CAN try what effect you want to achieve. I don't like to make my pictures too much unnatural. So I will leave the ice that way now, right now, I think that's the effect I like the most. And we are going back now to our main page, two main adjustments and see what happens when you move exposure by. It changes at all, it changes exposure of the whole image. The reason I'm showing you that is to show you the difference between masking the area he wants to change and by working on a main toolbar, the main tool, my world changed the whole image. So you can't review, mask out the area you specifically want to change. I hope you liked this chapter. This is my final image, the image I'm happy with. I wouldn't normally fix of ex post images because normally there's so many more, better pictures from the photo shoot that just spending time on fixing that one over exposed image. However, if that overexposed image is one of your best images from the shoot and you really don't want to discard it and limited, then this is a way you can try and fix it. 9. Class project: Thank you very much for watching this class. I hope you enjoyed it. And if you have any additional questions, feel free to message me or post your comments in the discussion section of the class or the class project, I would like you to upload pictures of child or children or it could be your little brother, sister. It could be your children. If you don't have brother or sister or you haven't got your own children. I'm sure you've got friends, at least one who's got a child. Ask them if you could take few portrait pictures of their kid. Make sure to speak to parents before, to try to get to know the child this way. And so the child is comfortable on a photo showed and feel safe as well. Applaud your project in the project section and share with us what challenges you came across. I found the hardest thing to do when you take portrait pictures of kids is to make them to stay in one place while you are taking a big job. Because obviously we wanted to set up the sharpness and the exposure. And by the time you do it with the kid might change their mind and go somewhere else and be occupied with something else. So this is the greatest challenge I have when it comes to taking pictures of kids. But he might have come across other challenges. And I would like to hear that and we can all discuss how did we deal with those challenges. I can't wait to see your projects and above all, stay inspired and enjoy taking pictures.
