1. A1: Hey, it's Brian B. I want to welcome you to the course. So just a few notes before we dig into the content, I just want to say I'm so excited for you. Why? Because this course is going to totally change your relationship to music. After going through this course, you're going to enjoy music in a brand new way. You're going to feel a new connection to your favorite songs, and you're going to truly understand what it means to get lost in the music. Now, I know this might sound super abstracting right now, but it's going to make sense in a moment. All right, let's get into some specifics now, in this course, you're going to learn 10 proves you can do with your body that syncs up to different genres of music. In other words, we're going to be focusing on the grooves and the fundamentals of dancing. What this means is that there is no complex choreography or routines for you to remember. So when I'm teaching you these crews, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna first show you the movements without music, and after that we're going to practice to some counts And then once you get familiar with the movements, then want to practicing to some music. All this allows you to pick up his new dance crews without any confusion or over. Well, now, the best way to go through this course is to start from the beginning and go all the way to the end. Some of these groups, you might be able to pick up really quickly, but some other ones might take you a couple of days or maybe even a couple of weeks. If that happens, don't worry, it's totally normal. And when you're going through this course you want to make sure to take notes of your favorite groups. You want to remember them, go through the course and then come back to master these favorite groups of yours moving on . I have a couple comments about what you should do with your arms when I'm teaching you a brand new group. What I'm gonna do is what you start off with my arms to the side so they're not in the weight or distracted. And once we have the groove down than what I'm going to do is I'm going to raise them up just like this. So one top one down here, it's gonna be nice and casual and relaxed. So you want to try with me one arm here and the other here. Nice and relax. All right. That being said, if you're brand new to my dance programs, then what you want to do is you want to head on over to the 11 dance groups and start off with that section. On the other hand, if you take him Volume one or balding two of my Dennis programs that will you want to do is head on over into the too old one dance groups. Okay, See you in the next section. 2. B1: Welcome to the 11 dance groom section. These are the three basic dance groups that serve as the foundation for all the other dance groups. Would you have these three fundamental grooves down? You should be able to dance to most of the genres of music out there. In other words, they are super versatile. All right, let's get started. 3. B2: All right, This is the upper house or the up. So this group looks like this. Now, if you combine this with the simple scientist sidestepping motion, it turns into something that looks like this Mr Touch. So who mentioned that this is a super person? How group? So let me break this one down. We're gonna do it in two different sections. First, we're gonna work on the legs, and then we're gonna work on the upper body. Starting with the legs were going to start with the spent from here. We're going to push our body up, so we're gonna stand up. And once we send up, we're gonna hit the count. So it's one. Alright, Starting with the spending. We're gonna go up one and then then the niece and then go up to two. So starting with these men, we go one to one 21 to 1 to 4 flooded. Starting with these men we go. One, 212121212121212 Nice and simple. Let's shake the legs out rulebook. All right, let's try that. One more, starting with these, then we go up up, Up, up. 1212 1212121 and two. Okay, let's move on to the upper body. So what's gonna happen here is we're going to do a little bit of a pulse emotion with the upper body. So the pulse emotion looks something like this. Boom, boom, boom. Okay, let me break this one down so the chest is coming outwards while our back is arching. So if you look at my back, it's going boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Arching my back just low bit. Okay, So one thing to notice, you are not doing it in too much of an exaggerated motion, so it's not going out. Nothing crazy like that. Just a pulsing motion. Pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse. Another thing is, you want to make sure your shoulders your arms here on going backwards like this. All right, So it's not Boom, Boom. That's wrong. You want to keep your shoulders still, keep it in place and just pulse with your chest and stop your stomach. Get boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Okay, let's try that from the side here. So my count, we're going to go 121212121212121212 Pulse, pulse, pulse, Pulse, Pulse, Pulse 1212 one. Do at one two foot. Here we go. 5678121212 Pulse, Pulse. 12121212 All right, so let's try combining the two together now. So starting with the spent, we're gonna relax our upper body, and as we go up, we're gonna pulse, All right? And then we're gonna bend the knees and provides. Gonna relax. Boom! It's gonna come back down So we go. Boom, boom, boom, But one and two. So exactly the motion for now. So boom, boom, boom! Boom. One in 21 and 21212121 in 212 Pulse, pulse up. Oh, up and up from the front. Starting with these Ben, we go. Boom, boom, boom. Boom. 1 to 1. And 21212121 in two and 121212 one In two, 1 to 1 to 1 to 1. And to. All right, quick, little break. Okay, If you think you got that, What we're gonna do now is put a little bit of a direction in there. So we're gonna go up this way and then come back down, center and go up the other way. So we're gonna go one and two. One 21 to one in 21212121 and two. Okay, so let's give that a try. So starting with these Ben, we're gonna go up this way. Come back down center and go the other way. Alright. Starting with me. Spend We go. 1212121 and 21212 Pulse, Pulse and Paulson. 1212121 and 2121212 and one and two. All right, So at this point, I'm going to point out a couple things, a couple of mistakes that you might be making. So one thing is ticking. So taking is making the movements too subtle or maybe a little bit too rigid. So the ticket movement looks like this. The all right? So it's rushing from up to down, two up, two down. So that's rushing it, and that is not good. What you want to do is you want to smoothing it out. So it goes. Boom and boom, amble. So that's normal. This is taking that. All right, So you want smoothing out the movement? Boom and boom. 1 to 1 and two. Now, another mistake you might be making is doing the down down motion. So right now, we're supposed to be doing the up up motion. So we go one and two, but you might be doing the opposite, which is the one and two motion. That is another group that we're gonna learn later on. All right, So make sure you're going one and 21 and two instead of one in 21 in to. Got it. All right, let's give it another quick practice here. So starting with these bed, I'm gonna show you from the side. Eastern we go. One and 21212 one And two, 12 and to just out impulsive. 12 and 212 and 212 and 212 and to All right, let's add the arms in there. Now. So one arm here. One arm here lose fifth, starting with these men. Here we go. 56781212121 and 21212121 and 2121 Do 1 to 1 in 212 What do 12 All right. Okay, let's try to some music now. 4. B2: practicing to some music. Now we're gonna get started with some slow beats and then later on, we'll speed it up. Oh, my God. It's like this 567 one, one. No! Yeah! Oh, yeah. Make sure you have smooth one one. Alright, let's try a different song. This next song is also a slower beat. Let's give it a try. All right. On my way. Go. 567 Up, up and up. Make sure you have a smooth 5. B2: At this point, we're going to dance to some faster being music. So if you feel like you can't quite keep up, feel free to scale down your movements. All right, let's give it a try. Okay? Starting with going this way. 1st 561 and one big 11 And alright, let's try to a different beat. Now. This is a house on my way. Yeah, - one smaller. 6. B3: thing is the rocking. All right, so if you combine this with the basic forward motion going from side to side, you get something that looks like this. All right, so this group is perfect for faster, be music, for example, medium or house music. All right, So let me Now, bring this group down 40. So we want to do from the side is you want to stand with your legs relaxed. All right, so they're not 10 stuff like that. Just relax, okay? From here, you want to flex your stomach? What's your court? And then the first motion here is to flex your knees. So what's gonna happen is your or to bring your knees back. Your body's goes forward. All right, so from here, we're gonna go. Oh, okay. So since your chorus lock your upper body goes forward or excel, relax and go. Boom. Relax, huh? Relaxed, Relaxed, but relax. But last back in that and back in back. So that counts. Go one in two and one and two in one and two and one in two. So a couple of days to keep note up, you're not going to be smashing your knees backwards. Not like now like that, or else you will hurt your knees. And that's obviously not what you want to do. Okay, So make sure you just bring your knees back. What? Relax. So you're not stressing it and bring it back, so boom, boom. Alright, If you're hearing some clicking sounds, then that's probably an indication you're doing it too hard. So you want to relax a little bit? Okay. So another thing here is you don't want to be rushing it. So this is Russia. Okay? So make sure to smooth movements out. You don't wanna be ticking, Okay? So make sure you're doing the movement smoothly on beat. So one and two and one and two and one and two and one in two. Nice and relaxed. All right, so let's check it out real quick. Quick break. All right, let's try that again. Starting with these a little bit, then relaxed, core locked. We're gonna go boom in the boom, boom and boom. One in two in one. In to flood. You should last one in two in one and two, one in two. Core locked and one and two, 12 one and two and one in two. So another thing to make notice. If your net is too stiff, you're gonna be rocking forward, and you're gonna be looking down. Like so. All right. It's kind of weird. So you want to relax your neck, Fleischer core, But relax your neck. So you're going Boom, boom, boom and boom, boom, boom. Okay, so make sure your neck is relaxed. All right, so let's give it a try to so faster business. So starting with these Ben, we're gonna go one and 212121 into one in 212 Rock in rock, rock and rock. Front and front one in 21 in 21 into 1 to 1 in 2121 and two. Quick, break you go. Okay, let's put the arms in there now. So you're just going to bring them up just like so, and keep him relaxed. Okay. From here news. Relax. We're gonna go one in 21212 One In 212121 In two. And rock and rock! Rock, rock, rock, Rock, Rock, rock, rock In rock. 121212 and 12 45 by 6781 in 212121 and 21212121 and two And 1212121 in two and one to 1212 and one. Do. All right now, let's put a little direction in there. So what's gonna happen? We're going to do our first rock facing this way and then come back center and then do the second rock this way, right from the sides. Look like this. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And from the front, one in 21 and 21 and 21 And so in the way, you're sticking your butt out the opposite way, coming back center and then the other way. So and and and let's give it a try this way. First needs. Relax. Here we go. Six, 781 and 21 and 21 in 21 into one in 212121 and 21212 Court is locked. Room and board one, do you? 121212 All right. Just a quick thing here before moving forward. You want to make sure that your court is blocked the entire time or else you're gonna look like this. This is look good. All right. Make sure your quarter slop boom and both flats your core. Flex your court. All right, Last time. Practice. Going this way. First, starting with these. Relax. Here we go. One into one and 21 and 21 and two. And 1212 One, 21 and two. And 12121212121212 All right. Okay. Let's try to some music now. 7. B3: get you some music Now we're going to start with the slower B and then we will speed it up . Wait. First five, strike a different song now way Beach House music. 8. B3: Let's speed things up a little now, so same thing us before. If you feel like you can't really keep up with your movements, feel free to scale them down a little bit. All right, let's give it a try. Way in a moment. - Five . All right. How was that? If you found it a little bit challenging than for the next section. Make sure to skill your movements down a little. All right, on my count. This way. 1st 5 this moment five . 9. B4: the next move you is the hip hop down. Looks like this. All right, so once I combine this with some are motion in a little bit of a tweak in the leg. Very agent. Look like this. Pretty cool, right? Okay, so let me break it down. First, let's work on the lights. So we're going to start with our body up leg straight, and from here, we're going to bend the legs. So we go down, Down, down, down. So the council like this 1 to 1 to 1 to 1 and two from the fun we go. Then then then then bend, then one and two. OK, so, as you can tell, this is quite similar to the up blood. In this case, we're going down, down instead of going up, up. So we go. 1212 instead of going 1212 Okay. From the side of the game, we go. Down, down, down, down, down, down, down, Down. One, 2121212 X Factors that from the front. 121212121212121 and two. Okay, just like before. You want to make sure you are not rushing the motion and you're not taking so taking with that's too sporadic. You want smoothing it up? So we go. 1212121 and two. Okay, so once we have that down, let's work on the upper body motion. So the upper body is a little bit of ah, crunchy motion. So it looks like this Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom Ample. So the motion is quite small. What's happening here is your reflection. Your stomach and your chest is just coming in just a little bit. So we go Boom, boom, boom boom crunch crunch, crunch, crunch. All right, so make sure you're not giving something that's crazy. It's not super exaggerated. This is not a four hip hop dance class. All right, so we go Crunch crunch, crunch crunch crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch. 121212 one and two. Also, make sure your arms and shoulders aren't coming in crazy. Like so. All right. So just keep them nice and relaxed on the side. Okay, so we go Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Okay, let's combine two together now, So we're going to bend the legs and our chest is gonna come down. So we go. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, Boom. 12121212 from the but 12121212121212 one and two from the side we go. 12121212121212 and 12 All right, look, Lubick, shake it up. Shake it up. Okay. Now, at this point, let's add a direction in there. So what's gonna happen is we're going to clean from one side to the other, one side to the other. So we will start from the center, and from here, we're going to lean to one side as we go down, and then come back up center and then go down the other side. Let's try Absolutely. The site. First we go. One and two. One, 2121 to one, 2121212 One, 2121 to one in 2121 two. Down, down. And all right, quick. Little break should get out. must speed it up a little. Here we go this way. 1st 5678121212121212121 and 21 to 1 to 1 to one in 2121212 and 12 Let's add the arms of their now. So like so nice and relaxed. We go 1 to 1 to 1 to 1 in 212 One, 212121212121 in two. Down, Down, in. Down, down, down. All right, let's write you some music now. 10. B4: practicing. Do some music. Now let's get started with a slow beat. And then later on, both. Speed it up on my count. This weigh first. Weigh 12 to 1. No, down. You're not taking nice down drop . All right. Okay. Let's now try to a different beat. Try to keep up by my count this wafers. 567 down. That's your time with movements. Russia. Yeah. Yeah, and 11. B4: Let's speed things up a little bit now. So the same thing we're gonna be dancing through some hip hop music. Try to keep up on my count. This way First. 56 Don't be dropped. Got one. All right, let's now try to the next All keep up this way First, by my count. 561 and smaller women's drop and drop Home bells 21 56 12. C1: welcome to the two old one dance groups these groups build on top of the 11 dance dues, and they're definitely a little bit more challenging now. Once you learn and master these dance groups, you get to put a lot more flavor into your desk. In other words, these dance groups are going to help you stand down from a typical crowd. You ready? All right, let's get into it. 13. C2: thing is the mini Jack. It looks like this. Okay, so let me bring this one down. The first motion we want to get used to is the regular Jack. The regular Jack Looks like this. I know a little bit odd all on its own. But trust me, once we scale it down and at in a direction, it's gonna look great. Okay, so let's try. We're going to stand like, so first thing we're gonna do is spend the knees, and from here, we're just going to the back As we link back. You want to make sure your core is locked Boom. Like so instead of relaxed. This is relaxed. This is a lot. Okay, So knees and back neath back neath that make sure court is locked from the front. We're gonna go knees back. Niece back. So assuming back, make sure you're looking forward rather than looking up at the ceiling. So you're not doing this. This looks weird. All right, So you want to be looking forward? Boom, boom, boom, boom. Okay, so make sure you're looking forward. Tried again. So niece, then lean back and then he spent lean back. You spend mean back. He's been named back. He's been named back. So once you're here, all you're gonna do this Stand back up. So that completes the one cycle for the one Jack. So we spend back. Oh, then back up, then lean back up. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom Front. He said, name back, come up. He spent the back. Come up and back up, then back. All right, let's have a quick load right here. Shake it up. Shake it up. So who mentioned that this group is a little bit more challenging, So if you're getting a little bit tabled up right now, it's totally normal. Just give it some time, okay? So let's try it again. So from the side, we're gonna go. Needs back up. Needs me back up, niece Boom, Boom. Down, Back up. Down. Back, up, down. Back, up, down, Back up. Make sure the quarters lock. Okay, Chicken out again from one down. Back up. Down. Back! Up, down. Back! Up, down. Back! Up, down. Back! Up, down. Back! Up, down. Back, up, down, back up. All right, So at this point, let's try to smoothing out the motion. So what's gonna happen is We're going to go down back and then come back up without doing the robotic, sporadic type of emotions, and we're gonna go boom and book home. But boom, huh? Boom. But one to one to one to one to All right, let's check it out. Quick, little break. Let's try from the front Sony spend and spend and then back up spending in back up. So, boom, smooth motion, But from the side. Well, so you should know this, that you're getting your power from your knees. Once you bend from here, you lean back and you're gonna push your knees so you get that power to come back up. Right? So let's try it again. What, When? Well, you said that well, but but boom! All right, let's you get up last time facing forward your your but one and two one end do one and two . One end to one and two, one and two. All right, so let's put a direction in there now. So what's gonna happen is we're going to go one side to the other, one side to the other, so it's gonna look like this one side and the other one side and the other. So we're kind of doing the switch in between the jacking geek squad emotion. Right. So we're going to go from the site first. Here in us, we squat down, we're going to change the direction to the other side. So we go What? 1212 and 12 and one in two and one and two, One to one to one to All right, let's shake it up. Okay, lets try speeding up just a little bit. This I first let's go. So 56781 to one to one to one. To one. To one. To one. To one to one to one to one to one to one to one to one to one two. Okay. Before moving on, let me give you a small tip. So once you stand up here, this is the reset motion. Once you hit this, you wanna have a brief little to three milliseconds stop. So it's like a like a hit before you restart to go to the next one. So we go hit and hit, hit and hit. So you do not want to string the movement together in a way that is too fluid. So if it's too fluid that it might look something like this. All right, so it gets all mixed up. That's not good. You wanna have to reset. Point the end in the start point. So we go hit. That is the end point and also the start point. And then you go hit. So we go. Hit. Hit it! Hit! Hit it. It it. So one and two and one and two, one and two, one and two. Okay, let's not the arms in there now. So we're just going to have him, like so nice and easy. Try. So this I First we go. One and two. One and two, one in 21 in two. 12 one in 21 and two, one and two, one to one, 21 two and one and two. All right, let's give it a try to some music. Now. 14. C2: All right, let's try to some music now. So before jumping in, if you feel like you can't quite keep up, what you can do is scaled down the movement a little bit. So you're doing something like this instead of the four Boom home room. Full motion. So scaling down. Okay, let's give it a try. Okay. On my count. This way. Let's try to another song on my count. This papers once you 15. C2: Okay, let's speed up the music a little bit. So in this case, you definitely will have to scale down the movements so you can actually keep up with the beak. So you're gonna be doing this small movements instead of full Jackie movements. All right, So small limits. And keep your core tight and locked and flex and try to keep up with the Be. All right, Let's give it a try on my count. This way. First we go. Five way. Keep your core tight. One and one. I feel like work out. 21 All right. Okay, let's switch it up and try a different song. Five 1 to 2 to one and two small limits. All right. 16. C3: thing is the locker room. All right, let me break it down. So, first of all, you have to have the up group down first. So the up going up and up, up and up, you have to have this movement first before you can learn the locker scoop. So if you don't have it yet, then go back to a previous session and learn that group and get that down first. Okay, That being said, let's continue. So first thing you wanted you is you want to do regular up. So starting with these men were gonna go boom and OK, so we're gonna come back down to the NIH spent, and from here, what's gonna happen is we're going to do a pelvic thrust, so we're gonna go hit back. All right, So let me show you. He's been our hips are gonna come out and our upper body gonna go back, but the court is locked, and then we just brought right back to the sitting position. So let me show you were gonna go from here. We're gonna go hit back. Hit that. So let's try that. Made from the side. That body going back boom like so. So make sure your core is locked. So you're not going like that. Doesn't look good. So you want to go hit back? Hit back. So rock in rock, rock in rock, rock in rock, rock and rock All right, let's shake the legs out. Quit with little break. Let's try that again. He's been We go! Hit, Hit him! Hit, Hit, hit, Hit! Hit! All right, so let's try combining the two motions to get it. Starting with these. Ben, we're gonna go up. Dill hit back. Okay, See that? That's right. From the beginning, the spending we're gonna go up, down, hit back. And from your up, down hit Back up, down, Hit back. Oh, down but back. Boom! All right, quick break should get out. So that is the general mechanic of dance move. So let's speed it up a little bit to see what it looks like. All right. Starting with these men were going to go up in hit and up in hit in, up and hit and up and hit and boom, boom, boom, boom. All right, As you can start to see, it's coming together, and you're starting to get that lockers feel locker school. OK, so one more mistake you want to be aware of is when you're leaving back to do the rock, you want to make sure that your neck is actually looking forward. Like so is there looking up where else will look really weird? All right, looking forward or looking to this. OK, so let's try it from the front. We're gonna start with these, Ben, We're gonna go up and rock in up and rock up in rock up in rock up in rock up in rock boom boom one in do one in do one in Do one and hit and boom and hit and hit and hit and hit. All right, let's shake it up. We're gonna speed it up. And then afterwards Well, at some direction. Okay. From the side. Starting with the spin, Speeding up a little bit. Here we go up and up and up and up. And one in 2121 in two and one into one and 21 into one into one end to 1 to 1 in Dubai. I am on him. All right. So adding the direction in there, what's gonna happen is we're gonna do the regular up, and from here, we're going to turn this way. We're gonna go hit and then go up in hit and up. Hit up. Hit. All right, So we're gonna come up center and then go from one direction. Come back up and the other. So boom. 1212121 into one. Do 1 to 1, dude. One into 1 to 1. Do. 12 one in two. All right, check it out. Quick. Low break. Let's at the arms in there now. So do decide. Here we go one and do one and do 1 to 1 into one in. Do one into one. Do one in two, 1 to 1 into. All right, So if you think you're ready, let's give it a try. Do something. 17. C3: Okay. As always, we're going to get started with the slower beat first. So this one tribute Relatively simple. All right, let's get started. OK, This way. One and and one, one. Keep your core. Oh, you one. Get with it. One moving on to the next song. Also a slow beat. Let's give it a try. You're gonna go up this way. 561 two and two. Your core tight. Listen to the jam. One one Oh, yeah, You one, do you? 56? 18. C3: Okay, let's speed the music up a little bit now. So just like before. If you feel like you can't quite keep up, then feel free to scale down the movements a little bit. Way. I want you to continuing on to the next funky beat. Let's give this one a try on my count. See? Sorry. Five five. 19. C4: this'll next group is the fun group. It looks like this. All right, let me break this one down. So from the side we want to do is first step with your body and relax and you want to flush your court. And from here, you're going to rock your upper body backwards like this. So it goes full. All right, So you want Fleischer core go back. And once you rock back, you want to let your abs pull you back forward So it goes like this. Boom and boom in. So you'll notice when you bring your upper body backwards, your hips actually go out just a little bit, which is perfectly normal. So your hips will go for just a little bit. And as you bring your body backwards, your hips it comes back. So we go boom, boom, boom and boom. Yeah, 1 to 1 end, too. So make sure your court is locked. That's how you get that elastic type of feeling. That rocking motion. All right, so another thing to keep in mind is for your neck. You don't want to be locking your neck so you don't want to be looking up at the ceiling when you rock back doesn't look good. You wanna keep your neck relaxed? All right, So when you rock back, Boom has still looking forward So boom, boom and boom and boom, boom and boom From the front we go rock in rock, rock and rock rock in rock, rock and rock Now I know that I might sound like I'm repeating myself, but you want to make sure that your core is locked. That's where you get that elastic feeling That's where the power comes from, so to speak, Okay, it's a week. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom and boom one and do 1 to 1 and two and one and two and 1 to 1 and do one and two and one and two All right, so from the fun, buddy, we go one and do one and 21 in 21 into rock and rock! Rock, rock, rock, rock, rock, rock. Okay, so at this point, I want to point out another potential mistake. So once you get into the group of things, you might start to do the pelvic thrust. So you might be going like this. Uh uh uh, that's not good. Okay, So you want to make sure that you're keeping your core lock and you're focusing on your upper body going back and forth and us the result. Your hips actually go for just a little bit. So you're not doing anything with your hips Specifically the hips going back and forth. That's war of a byproduct of what you're doing with your upper body. Okay, so we go Boom and boom, boom, boom, boom, boom rock in rock, rock, rock, rock, rock, rock, rock, rock and rock. Okay, so at this point, let's put a simple direction in there. So what's gonna happen is we're going to lean this way. Our body is gonna turn this way, and we're gonna go rock Rock. And once we're here, we're just going to turn the other way and go rock in rock so slowly we're gonna go one and two and then one and two, one in 21 in 21 and two and to one in two. Do one and two into one in two and to do and two and 12 and do rockin rock in Iraq Lock, Corporal and whom boom, boom and boom ample. All right, let's put the arms in there. So it's gonna be like this. Let's try it. Boom and boom, boom, boom and boom and boom! 1212121 and two and one in 21212 and two and one Do and do want to and to. All right, let's give it a try to sell music now. 20. C4: Let's give it a try to some music now, So we're going to get started with some slower pace. Phone beat Music by one for a lot One. Yeah. Drop. Okay, let's move on to the next track. Now say they on my count. This way. First 567812 And rock in rock and rocks I want I want to do and you won t o 21. C4: Okay. On my count. Lee, This way. First five. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Make sure course what? Yeah. So moving on to the next song. Here we go. On my count me in this way 1st 5 and 22. C5: this'll. Next move is the drop move. It looks like this, all right. I know it looks a little bit like the down move or the hip hop balance, but it's actually different. So the regular hip hop balances like this one and 21 in two. But this movie is like this 1 to 1 to one and two, so the counts are different. Okay, let me break it down for you. Let's get used to the modified down drop motion first. So instead of doing the form down bounds, we're gonna do this post Post Post Post. So the movement is much smaller, and the time that it takes were security insure. So we're bending the knees in, Our body is coming down, and then we're coming right back up. So it's a post post pulse pops pulse, pulse, pulse, pops. So let's try that. Boom, boom, boom. All right, so let me explain the count story real quick. The count's unlike the hip hop pounds. It's not 1212 Rather, it's a one in two in one and to All right, let's try that out. So I'm gonna count one. And so on the end we're gonna drop and then we're gonna come right back up. So it goes one and two in one. In 212121212121 And to and from the front. Here we go. One and two in one and two and one and two and one and 21212121 in two. Okay, so as you're doing this movie, make sure you're doing the pulsing motion, and you're doing it quickly, and then you're coming right back up. Okay, so let's try putting a direction in there now. So we're gonna go from one side, we're gonna go home and come back up and then go to the other side. You go, Boom. Come right back up. So we're gonna go Boom, boom and boom and boom, boom, boom. And just letting boom and boom, boom, boom! I am one. But so let's go by counts. So we go 12 in 1 to 1 to one and 21212121 and to All right, let's put the arms up now. So, like, so go to this. I first we go. 121212121212121 In 21212 12 one and two. All right, so if you think you're ready, let's give it a try to some music. 23. C5: Okay, let's try to some music now. So these songs are a little bit different. The first beat here is an oldie. Speak. And then afterwards we're gonna try Teoh. Okay, 1st 5 one in one one one 1 to 1, 21 You want one? You one to one, 212 Hope cold. Oh, called women down. Down. Right. Okay, let's try to a different song. Here we go. 567812121 Into 11 post moments. 1 to 2 to one. You too. Oh! 24. C5: Okay, let's speed up the music a little bit now. So we're gonna be dancing to another oldies beat, and then we're gonna switch to some blues. Okay? 56 one, one. Do you one que one down? Yeah. Oh, right. Moving on. Let's try Teoh. Lose track five one. Do you drop? 25. C6: this'll. Next room is a combination of the up group and also the rocking group. It looks like this. All right, let me break it down. So the first thing you have to get used to on the two regular groups, right? The regular up group and also the rocking group. So make sure you have those two down before moving on. So once you have those two groups down, the first thing we're gonna do is the up through regular up group. So starting with the spend, we're gonna go up and then bend the knees back down. And from here, what's gonna happen is we're going to do the rocking group, but we're gonna do it to decide. So what's gonna happen? My body is gonna turn this way a little bit, and I'm gonna go hit. All right, so it's a sideways boat rocking forward needs go back. So we go full. So from the beginning, you spend, we go up, down, out to the side, and then bring it to the center, and then we're gonna come back up. Okay? So from the side, it's gonna go from these. Ben, we're gonna go up down side in. No. Okay. Again. Boom Am. Oh, okay. Well, she at this stage, of course, you're going to transition to the other side. We're gonna do boom and pull to the side. Okay, so from the side, we're gonna go up inside up side, up, side of side from the front with exactly demotion. I'm gonna go boom and boom room and board. I am. And for one and 212121 and 21 in 212121 and two. Okay, I know it looks a little bit silly right now, but that is OK, because once we get used to the big movement afterwards well, steal it out so you can follow me from the side he's been We're gonna go up inside up inside a side up side. Boom and boom, boom and boom boom. Ample one in 2121 in 21 in two. Up side of side, up side and up side. Okay, let's kill down the movements a little bit. So what we're gonna do is scale everything down, so the balance upwards is gonna go boom, and then from the side is gonna be more about pulse. Right? So we go. Boom and boom, boom and boom, boom, boom, boom And boom A 1 to 1 in 2121 and 212 Up. Side, up. Side, up. Side one, 212121 And 21212121 and two. All right, hook low break. Get up. Okay, let's speed it up a little bit now. So he spent up. And this way. Here we go. 56781 in 21212121212121 in 2121212121 to 1 to 1 to one and 21212121 In. Tube up. Inside. Inside. Up. Inside, Up. Inside. All right, let's give it a try to music now. 26. C6: All right, let's try this group to some music now. Okay, five. One. - OK , moving on. Let's try to different hip hop. Ready five. 27. C6: Okay. You know what's coming up? We're going to speed up their music now, so we're gonna be dancing to some house music. Give up five with B . One way five. Is it moving on to the next house? Be? Here we go. 567 and one . 28. C7: this'll. Next move is the Marine Gay Group. This one is a little bit more challenging than the others. So spend a little bit more time. So the Marine Gate Group looks like this. Okay, so let me break this one down for you into a couple of different sections. The first thing you want to get used to is the down balanced motion. So the down balance is actually a little bit different from the hip hop group. Let me break it down. So what's gonna happen is we're gonna be doing this motion from the side. Boom, boom. So all we're doing is we're vending. That needs to go down. Down, down, down. So that counts. Go one and two and one and 2121 in two. So one thing to notice, my upper body is actually quite relaxed. There's not a whole up going on a pier. Okay, so we're bending. The knees were going 1 to 1 to 1 to 1 and two. Okay. From the front, we go 1 to 1 and 2121 and two. Simple. Right. Okay, So the next thing that we have to do here is at in a slight direction. So by that, I mean this. Okay, so my entire body is turning over to one side and I'm doing the balanced downwards, and I'm coming back up centered and then going to the other side and going down, so I'm point. Boom, boom, boom. So let's give it a try. Center. We go down, down, down, down. 121212121212 Check it out real quick. Let's try it again. The site. First we go. Down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down. 1 to 1 and 2121212 one and two. Okay, so the next step here is where the magic comes in. So what I want you to do is to keep your upper body centred. Okay? So it's gonna be facing through the front while your lower body is going to do the bounce one way to the other. So this why me? My upper body, it's gonna be facing forward. My lower body goes boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Uh, bull. So notice how my hips are actually going out a little bit, and it's starting to create that swing type of feel. Kind of like the meringue. A type of feel. OK, so that's exactly what you want to do. So Oprah body facing forward while the legs bounced from one side to the other, one side to the other. Sway, It's way we'll amble 1 to 1 in 21212121 and two are closed. Breaker. I tried again. This way. First we go. 121212121212121 and two. Okay, so make sure your upper body, the center. So once you have that down, let's put the forward motion in there. So the full motion goes like this home. So we're just lifting our feet up and then putting it back down and the other putting it back down. So how this incorporates into the movement is list. We're going to get started with one foot up just a little bit, like so. And from here, we're going down, bounced this way. So we're gonna go home, and as we come back up, this office leg is gonna come back up, and then this allows us to go down the other way and go boom. So all the while upper body stay center. So let me show you one leg. Up we go. Boom! And the other. Boom, boom, boom, Boom! 12121212 All right, shake it up. Trying to get Here we go. So one leg up, we're gonna go down. Down, down, down, Down, down, down, Down. 1 to 1, 21 21 and two. Okay, let's have the arms in here. So we're just going to have them up just like this. So getting starting with one leg up. Facing center, we're gonna go down. Down, down, down, Down, down, down, Down. 121212121212121 in 212121212 to 21212 OK, so as you get more and more used to this movement, then you can allow your body to flow a little bit more. Okay? So as you step into it, you're buying is going to want to sway so you can allow your body to sweat a little bit more. So this what I mean with step notice how my shoulders are moving. Its are moving a little bit more. That's perfectly OK. Boom, boom, boom. 1 to 1 and 21212121 and to All right, let's give it a try to some music now. 29. C7: Okay, let's try the Miranda group. Do some music now, so these bees are gonna be quite slow to start off. Okay, let's right. 567812 and one Body. Basic Ford. It's more of this. Don't be afraid. He's way. Helps a little step one five. Okay, let's switch Teoh a difference on All right. I like you five and upper body center. It's way yes. Instead, it's getting that's good five. 30. C7: Okay, let's speed it up a little bit now. Here we go. Okay. One for five to body center instead. On 212 56 Okay, let's switch it up a little now. Oh, my God. 567 and two. Step. Try to keep up. 56 31. C8: I think this group is the many down ballot that looks like this. All right, so let me break this one down. The movement itself is quite similar to the hip hop pounds, but we're turning the movement down into something that's more of a pulse rather than a balancing motion. All right, so what's gonna happen is we're gonna bend the knees, We're gonna bring the body down, but instead of going all the way down, just gonna go halfway, and then we're gonna come right back up, so it's kind of like a pulse. Pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse, emotion. OK, so it's a pulse. Pulse, pulse, pulse straight out. Boom, Boom, boom, boom, boom, Boom Boom. From the front we go pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse one and two, and one in two and one, and two and one in two. Now, I know it doesn't look like there's a lot going on right now, but when it's linked up to the right music look good. Okay. From the side. Begin. So we go. Don't Don't, don't, don't, don't, Don't. Down, down, Down, Down, Down, Down! Down! Down! Down! Post post, post, Post, post. Boom! boom, boom, boom. Okay, let's speed it up a little bit now, so we're gonna spit it out. We're gonna go Boom! 1212121 In Too little Find a fun We're gonna go boom, Boom 11 and one And do one in 21112 and one and two. All right, look, a little bit. We're gonna speed up people more and turn it into almost a string of the pulsing motions. Okay, here we go. So we're gonna go Boom, boom, boom, boom. One do do do. And one, and two. And 1212121 and 21 Do 1 to 1. Do one into All right, If you have that, let's put a swing motion in there. So we're gonna swayed this way, and then we're gonna swayed this way, and we'll have our now, so let's give it a try. Here we go. 56781 Do one. Do want to one in two. One and two and one in 2121 into one into one in 212 and down. Down, down. Down. One in 21212 and one and two. All right, if you think you're ready, let's give this a try to so music now. 32. C8: Let's give it a try to some music now. So this first track is gonna be a little bit slower up telling you in so we can follow and then afterwards will try to go faster. Okay, let's speed it up to faster. Be now. Let's give it a try, OK? Oh my We were 5 17 Yeah, yeah, yeah Now down. I want to No down, Paulson! 33. C8: Okay, let's try to some different beast. Now for some practice. 5656 an impulse. Okay, of course. We're gonna move on to the nets. All try to keep up my follow me. My 65 down, down, down small. 34. D1: congrats. You've completed the course.
