Iulian Popa

Life Architect at SkillShare

Iulian Popa is an architect, writer, instructor and thinker. He has a lot of experience in starting projects, online or offline. Being versed in a lot of fields he can't really decide what to focus on because of the near endless thirst for knowledge and questions. Yet from all that possible exploration and understanding he wants to do something more than anything else, teach. Helping people understand concepts and ideas, from the most concrete to the more abstract. His reach of subjects is wide from personal development to architecture, video editing, 3D modeling, and even to the more practical, hands-on building.

He has a small parcel of land where he plants apple, plum and pear trees for household use. He really enjoys making some jam after a hard day editing video or architectural drafting.

Even though Iulian may seem all over the place he did actually get an A+ for his dissertation named "Blind and the architecture that feels" getting second place at his University.

His online presence only keeps growing as he makes video blogs with food recipes, writes poetry and discusses political realities of the time. Udemy is just the next step in this never-ending expansion. He is determined to advance his understanding of human psychology and help everyone that wants to better themselves. This help does not come only by assembling knowledge and information in a visually appealing way. It comes with the understanding that underlying issues unique to every individual may prevent them from assimilating the information. The job of the teacher is half to speak and half to listen.
