About This Class

Welcome to my course about international short and long-term house and pet sitting. The best way to travel the world without paying for accommodation or live rent-free worldwide if you decide not to travel. I've been travelling the world since 2013 and house/pet sitting enabled me to stay in luxury accommodation around the globe without paying rent or paying any bills. House sitting gave me over 2 years of free accommodation and enabled me to stay in villas with swimming pools (watch the course videos for images), homes on deserted beaches as well as apartments in the centre of some of the worlds most famous cities. My first 2 years of travel were only possible because of house and pet sitting and it is also the reason why I am in the amazing position that I am in today: travelling the world while living off multiple online income streams such as my book that also has a Skillshare course, by the way. Because of my low cost luxury lifestyle I have been featured on TV, radio, magazines and several major websites, such as 'The Daily Mail' and 'The Huffington Post'. So you can rest assured that I will guide you through this course in a professional manner and show you how you can travel the world without paying for accommodation! This is suitable for anyone who wants to travel luxuriously, have luxury holidays or just live anywhere without paying for accommodation!

1. International Short and Long-Term House Sitting: Welcome to my course about international short and long-term. How sitting the best way to travel the world without paying for accommodation or live rent-free worldwide if you decide not to travel. I've been traveling the world since 2013 and house sitting enabled me to stay rent-free in luxury accommodations around the globe. How fitting gave me over two years of free accommodation and enabled me to stay in the villas with swimming pools, homes on deserted beaches, as well as apartments in the center of some of the world's most famous cities. So it's no secret that I love how sitting, although I no longer house it full time, my first two years of travel was solely possible through how searching how fitting is also the main reason why I'm able to be in the position that I'm in today, traveling the world, living of multiple online income streams such as my book that also has a Udemy, and by the way, my travel blog, my social media, my videos, and my cryptocurrency investments because of my low cost luxury lifestyle, often feature on TV, radio, magazines, and several major websites such as The Daily Mail and the Huffington Post. So what is how synching house the king is basically like babysit chain, but for the house and pets as opposed to baby, homeowners, go away and leave you in charge of their home and pets. Now you may wonder why people would need Hao such as opposed to just asking friends and family to look after the home and pads while they're away. Often the homeowners are ex-pats. S1 fact go in to visit family in their home country. So that needs someone who can look after their home and pads while they're on that trip. In other cases, no one is available for the specific dates of that trip and certain other cases that house or the pets or both out a big responsibility and the homeowners needs someone who's committed to taking care of the property and the pets. And in this course, I'm going to give you a detailed step-by-step process of how you can do the same. But before we get started, I want to make sure that house the team is suitable for you. So please watch the next video to find out. 2. Can YOU be a House Sitter?: Is how some pet searching for you, that's what we're going to find out and this video. So the first thing I want to talk about is criminal records. If you have a criminal record, you cannot be a house sitter and this course is not for you. Being how such a also means being flexible with dates. So if you have a full-time job, you need to plan ahead and it will be more difficult. Now when I started to house it, I also, at the same time stuff my online business, I learned a lot and I do a lot of stuff online, which was perfect for house the chain because it allowed me to check my work with me wherever I went and I was very flexible in terms of dates. So you can do what from your computer. You are an ideal candidate for house sitting. The next point I want to talk about is allergies. If you're allergic to cats, for example, you obviously can't look after cats and you should mention that on your profile and make sure you don't get any house. That's why you have to look after cats. For example. If you have experience with patents, that's obviously a plus. And I'll mention this later on in the course what to put on your house sitting profile. But for now, let me just mention that if you have experience with patents, that's obviously a plus. If you've ever rented or owned property, that's also a plus. And if you have experience with travel, that's obviously also a plus if you want to do international house searching. So to summarize, if you have a criminal record, how sitting is not for you. If you have work that you can do online from any location, how simply may well be very suitable for you. You should be aware of any allergies you have and if you have owned or rented property that obviously a plus, if you have experience with paths, that's obviously a plus. And if you have travel experience, that's obviously also a class if you wanted to, how synching internationally. Now how sitting often gets confused with something that is called wolf thing and the online community. So I want to make a special video challenge what whooping is all about an indifference between morphing and house settings. So watch my next video to find out what that's all about. 3. House Sitting vs Woofing: Hello, welcome to my next video, the serious this video is all about how sitting is not wolf it now if you're not familiar with Wolf in roofing is basically an acronym for working weekends on organic farms. And it started out as just that. It's basically a website and you can go to this website, sign up, find these firms that need workers obviously. And you can go there and do the work, and then you stay there free of charge. And we can actually look at international roofing website right here. It says in the FAQ section, what does Woolf stand for and sets here. It's an optimum and started out in the early days as whacking weekends on organic farms. This change in time as it was realized that people wanted to volunteer and host. And each time, now various wolf organizations use a variety of meanings. Worldwide opportunities on organic farms. Willing workers on organic farms will welcome on organic farms, et cetera. So I guess you get the picture. You go through these farms, you work, you get free accommodation. Ok. Now, this is not to be confused with how sitting ok. How simply means that you look after the home, you look after the property while the homeowners are on a and a day or a business trip or any other kind of trip for a certain period of time. And the homeowners are, in fact not that they may have workers that are there. They may have staff there, may have cleanest and may have garden us, but the homeowners are not there and you are checking that place for as long as they're gone. Now, I mentioned loafing because many home owners have got it confused with wood thing. They've got house sitting confused with morphing. So they think that they can get a house and make them do certain kinds of work that are really more like roofing as opposed to how searching. So if I'm talking about, for example, is Garden in cleaning that kind of work. Please don't misunderstand. Okay. You obviously expected as a house such and to keep the house clean, water plants and any little things. And I will talk about this more throughout the course later on. Ok. But please make sure you understand the difference between how sitting at roofing. Now to summarize how sitting is when people go away on a business trip or holiday and you look after the home and pats wildland away. And moving is basically going on organic farms and do an actual web on that farm while the owners are then. Okay, I just wanted to make sure you understand the difference. Now let's continue with the course and my next video. 4. House Sitting FAQ: To start off, I would like to answer the question that I would ask. If I would see this course being displayed on line. If this is really as great as you say, then why are you basically showing people how to be a competition? And the answer is that international house sitting has totally changed my life and I'm working very hard to get more people on board. Now, this is not just how sitters, This is also home owners. If homeowners have a bad experience with how sitters they are unlikely to offer their home for future house sitting opportunities. Therefore, it is in my best interests to ensure that house well as home owners know what to expect and what is expected of them. And for that reason, I have designed this course. I have a website traveling wheels.com and the German website of traveling reasons dot GE filled with information about how sitting because they may not have the funds, for example. But this is also to let you know that if you are a home owner with pet, you can have how sitters and have them look after your property and pads while you're away on holiday or business trips. All right, now let's get started with the course. 5. How to find Luxury House Sits: So in this video, I want to reveal the best way to find your first house it. So a lot of people obviously asked this question, you know, where do I find these houses that you keep talking about? And actually helps sitting used to be mainly done through agencies and many dM by a retired people. And the reason was twofold, retire people tended to have the time and money to go off travelling to a foreign country. But with the introduction of the Internet houses thing has had a make over. Firstly, instead of agencies, how sitting jumps are now many available on websites specifically designed for how searching. Secondly, with more and more younger people working on line and becoming digital nomads. Younger and younger people are able to retire early. In other words, they are able to work anywhere, anytime, remotely as long as there's internet. And like I briefly mentioned at the beginning, I also online myself. And if you want to know more about that as a blog post that I will link in the notes of his Udemy course, and I will also make a course about that in the future. So check out my profile. So basically thanks to the internet, how sitting is now available to almost anyone or you need to do is find how setting web site create a profile applied to how sets get accepted and off you go. And in the next few videos I'm going to go through my number one house and you might say that I personally use as well as other house sitting websites that I would recommend you look into if you want. 6. The Best Times of the Year to House Sit: Now before I talk about how to get these houses, I wanna talk about when to get those luxury house sitting jobs. So timing is crucial when it comes to house sitting. As a general rule of thumb, I would say the earlier the better. What I mean by that is if you can secure a house at, at least six weeks in advance, that would be very good. What this means is that you can still be a little flexible with your plants, timing the countries that you want to visit, et cetera. It my personal experience, the widest choice of house sitting opportunities can be seen around the Christmas time, but also during public and school holidays. This can be a great time to start finding those luxury houses because there's obviously a great choice. Now next we're going to look at which countries have the best house sits. 7. The Best Countries for House Sitting: So which countries have the best house sits? So this is kind of a delicate match. I don't want to insult any countries, obviously. And there are obviously exceptions to these rules. So not every single house in those countries will follow the things that I'm about to say. So my personal experience, I have found the following points should be true generally. So first of all, how sits in Australia? Australia is a beautiful, huge country. It's a great place to start how searching of a personal opinion. And it's great for newbies, especially if you're younger. House suggests. And I was lucky enough to stay in Australia nine months and actually saved a ton of money in accommodation and our state and beautiful homes. And I had the time of my life was so amazing. Next I want to talk about how sitting in France, now in France you can actually get very luxurious properties, okay? But you do almost always have to have your own car, you have to have transportation. So if you don't have transportation, this may be an issue. Next up is USA. So they're usually generous homeowners, but I generally don't go away for very long. You can find an American couple, American paths and moves going away on longer trips. You basically struck how sitting gold. Next, I want to talk about how searching and Costa Rica, and in Costa Rica, they often want you to pay for your own utility bill for some reason not depending on the length of the House said this may or may not be okay. As I said previously in this course, this is usually up to each individual case and sometimes I would say, no, I'm not paying. And other times I might say, okay, fair enough. In specific circumstances I am willing to consider are paying for the utility bills. Or last but not least, I want to talk about how sitting in the UK and homeowners are often not too generous. And they think that rent-free, the fact that you live rent-free is a big deal, which should really is, but then again, it depends on the house that you stay in. Okay. So it does depend. And I briefly want to talk about experts here that two types of ex-pats thrust up. Experts who moved away to a country that they absolutely love. Second, experts that moved to a country that they don't love. Ok, now, you want to stay away from the second type. Trust me. Alright, in the next video, I'm gonna discuss why each house sitting up virtual have at least one image displayed. So keep watching. 8. House Sitting Profile Tip: Now in this video I want to discuss why the house sit should have at least one image displayed. A house sitting upward can tell you a lot about the homeowners now and again, this is my personal opinion. And please keep in mind there are exceptions to the rule, but in my personal opinion, if the homeowner or the homeowners can't be bothered to upload a single image of their home or their pets or anything. Ok. You could take that as a sign that the home owner own us. I'm not serious about finding a quality. How such? The more images and information the app that has, the higher the chances that professional individuals or couples will apply. And so like I just said, Of course, this isn't always true. There are exceptions to this rule. So I, myself have done houses where the coolest thing about the house, you know, be it a pool or Sono ever and wasn't management until I got to the place, which was obviously a very nice surprise. And sometimes the homeowners just don't want to shout out their assets. Because obviously they might feel that they get people who aren't really Animal lovers. They just want people who we are and I'll hang out in a pool or whatever. And all I can say to that is for me personally, the best house sits that I've done with always the ones where the homeowners want you to trust them as much as they trust you. How sitting as a two way street, obviously the nice that homeowners are to the house sitters, the house, it is obvious, you gotta remember that and then do a great job. So not having photos doesn't have to be a deal breaker, but it can lead to some awkward moments down the line. So for example, there's a big difference between looking after a small dog and a big dog. And so if the house sitting up, but you said that you have to look after a dog, but it doesn't get any other information. You might end up living with a Great Dane on your lab, supposing I love Great Danes, okay? But if you're not used to dogs, this might be quite a hot house it for you and you might not enjoy it. So that's my personal opinion. I think it's best if there are lots of images. Now in the next video, I'm gonna talk about why this should be lots of texts as well. So keep watching. 9. House Sitting Profile Tip 2: So this video's about why the house sit up virtual have lots of text. So ironically the listings that have very few or no images also once with very little text. What I mean by that is that very short introductions, short descriptions of responsibility, and any other relevant, useful information that you need to know when your house searching full, complete stranger. You really don't want to find a self and a house. And when you know nothing about the responsibilities and duties, slash what to do in an emergency slash where everything is, et cetera. Generally, if the description is short, it will be short when you get that true. If that's how is it that you really, really want to do? But it only has like, I don't know, very few images or just one image and very few words written in description. But you are considering it makes sure that you ask a lot of questions. And this is what I'm gonna be talking about. My next video, I'm going to be talking about why you end the homeowner owners should be on the same page as to what a house and pet Sita does. 10. House Sitting Duties: So this video is all about why you should be on the same page with the homeowner slash homeowners on what a house and pet sitter does and what your duties are. So this may sound obvious, but there are increasingly large numbers of people looking for volunteer workers, how swaps or other bizarre services in exchange for free accommodation. So like I mentioned in the beginning of the video that tons of websites for those specific services, be it how swapping or volunteer working, which is basically Warfarin. So it's very confusing for me to see these requests on a house searching website. So let me be very clear how Sitting does not mean personal assistant, MY personal gardener, cleaner, chauffeur, plumber, or electrician. I strongly recommend having a contract in place that is rat and signed by the home owners as well as yourself. Before you accept the assignment, make sure you are all on the same page and everyone understands that you are there just to look after the home pads and possibly garden. Now briefly mentioned cleaning here, ok. Because it is obviously expected that you keep the place clean. So it's January expected that how CIT has leave the house in the same way that it was given to them. Basically. This means cleaning up your own dishes, hoovering, and general housework. It does not mean a spring clean cleaning underneath an oven or anything that you would pay professional cleaner should do rather than do it yourself and your own home. It's a fine balance. That of course, changes a little bit depending on who you are and how much you like to clean. Makes sure that you have a homeowner. Homeowners who are on the same page as you when it comes to the washed, clean. 11. The Best Website for House Sitting: Okay, so this is one trusted house. It has website looks like, again, like I said in the previous video about trusted house, such as if this changes, I will update this video to make sure this stays up to date. For the sake of this video, I will focus on the desktop version of this website. So the version that you see when you look at it from a computer or laptop. So if you click the link in the nodes of this course, you will get a window that looks like this. This will take you straight to the membership options of trust and how citizen you should see this right now, as you can see here, that as a 10% discount already applied. So instead of $190, he would pay 107 $0.10 USD per year. And you can sign up as an owner or a Sita. And as it says down here, you can choose a combined membership at checkout. So for the sake of this course, I'm going to select this house sitter option right here and we're gonna sign up so you see what that looks like. So you click right here on select. And then this screen should appear. It says right here starting January, trusted house such as and you can sign up with Facebook or you can fill out your details here. Again, for the sake of this course, I'm going to fill out details here. And then you will see these two boxes down here. It says, yes, agreed to the privacy policy and you can choose to get emails from traveled house Sita's century inbox or not. Here is the privacy policy is you click on it, it will open in a new window and you can see the privacy policy. Now obviously, I recommend you guys read it. You make sure that you are comfortable with this privacy policy, with the way they deal with things and collect data, et cetera. And once you've done this, you have to take this box right here, this box, you don't have to take its fine. You can just leave it and then you can click Create My Account. Then you will see this checkout page. And you can see right here, the city membership is $107.10 and you can choose US dollars or another currency. If you're watching this from a another country, you should be able to choose your currency. Again, for the sake of this course, I'm gonna choose US dollar. And you can click here one to join as both Sita and owner get a combined membership for only $29 extra a year. And if we click this again, so you can see here the combined membership, it's not $148, is $133.20. So this is again, totally up to you and you can see here, don't miss out, get new sets you want to deliver in Bach's time i here, you can see how sits here, and then it's time to fill out your information right here. Firstname, lastName, address, city, state, postal code, country, and phone number. And then you can continue to be secure payment by clicking on continue to secure payment. And then you should get this window. And it says here a discount code has been applied to discount code is weasels ten, and it has already been applied, so you don't have to click Apply code. As it says here, discount code applied and you can pay with a debit or credit card and it says an absolutely safe website. Ok, so you can enter your cotton number, you can enter the name on your card, you can enter the expiry date and the security code and you can see the prices here. The total for me would be $133.20 US dollars. And again as two boxes down here, one says, I've carefully read and agree to the terms and conditions. You can obviously click on this and it will give you the terms and conditions. And again, I would read these clamps to the conditions and make sure that you agree with them. And again, there's a box here that says, yes, I'm happy to receive emails about exclusive offers and have four tips about how trusted house it has wax. And then you would click on pay now and then the payment would go through it should go through instantly, and then you would get confirmation. 12. Website 2: Okay, so this is the website, mind my house.com, and this should look exactly like this on your computer. If the layout changes of anything changes, I will update this course to make sure you guys are up to date with these websites. So this website is an actually an old one. It was founded in 2005, as you can see here. And if you scroll down, you can see again, like my house, this one is also free for homeowners. So if you want to be a homeowner who is looking for how sitter, you can also do this time. And if you want to be a house sit on here, this is only $20. So essentially you can enjoy for a 100 and accommodation statue rental payments and treat yourself on whatever how Sita members pay the lowest annual fee on the web. So while the fees are very low, you don't get that many available. How sitting assignments. So you can see right here at the time of making this video to ask 308 house sitting assignments. And there are over 4 thousand house sitters. However, in total, there are over twenty six thousand, nine hundred twenty seven thousand home owners and almost 5,700 Active House sitters. So move home owners than how citizens in general, which is a very good sign. What that means is that overall, you should have good chances of getting a house there. And if we scroll down a little more, we have a little testimonial here and down here as well. So we have a testimonial from a house sitter here. And this person says here, wanted to let you know how wonderful IF found beside. And you can read this review here. Very positive. And he has a review from a home owner. This is a fantastic site to find reliable people for home sitting. So another positive review here, that's also very good. So like I said in previous video, my personal choice is trusted House suggests might give you a discount code as well for trusted house it as However, if you want to increase the chances of getting a house it, or if you're a homeowner and you want to increase the chances of getting a suitable house sitter. You can obviously check out these websites I mentioned in these videos as well in stand up if you want. Now in the next video, I'm gonna look at another house sitting website for you to consider. So I'll see you there. 13. Website 3: So if you visit house carers.com, you will see this layout and official change I shall update is review as well. So to make sure this is up to date, this is what you should be seeing as you look at the website, House cares.com on a computer. So you can, first of all see that the layout of the design is very well done there looking very professional. It's very clear what they're all about at the top here, it says, find a house, such a browse houses to sit How it works, block about and join now. And if you scroll down here, I like what it says here about finding a house sitter or I am a house sitter. And I have confidential secure matching system that gets results. And you can securely match with how sitters and you obviously you can become a house. And they are very straight up about the prices. So it's 50 US dollars per year for full membership to become a house sitter. And if you want to list your house, if you are looking for a house to tell you can do this for free here. That's also a great offer. And we can see a little customer review here, a little testimonial, et cetera, services helped us find a perfect match within a month of signing up. Thank you. This house, it allows us to be back near family and friends and time when our family is growing, my niece and her husband are adopting a baby. And in a way that gives us time to think about where we wanted to travel. Next, The assignment is for a full year. We are thrilled. So that's a great testimonial. And then at the bottom here you can see all the different options for this website. And so this is the house cameras website. Now again, I personally use trusted house sitters and I can only recommend trusted house. He does. However, if you want a bigger chance of finding a house sit or if you're a homeowner and if you want a bigger chance of finding a house sitter, It's obviously making sense or sign up to more than one house sitting websites. Hence, I'm showing you this house sitting website. I'm going to show you more in the next few videos. However, if you want to stick with my personal choice, trust that house edges, you might skip these videos and you may skip straight to the next section of this course where I show you how to sign up to trusted house such as, but if you decide to sign up to several house sitting websites, you can also still watch the section about the trusted house it assigning a process and how to fill out a profile. Because the profile section is really relevant for all the house certain websites, because you should obviously say the same stuff on all these health searching websites. 14. Website 4: All right, so in this video, I'm gonna show you another house searching website for you to consider. This website is called no Mordor.com and this is all linked below this video. And you can see right here a couple, and here a nice family. And here again a single person and again, very nice pictures and testimonials that's oh cool. And disrupted has been listed on many very popular websites right here. That's a very good sign. I liked the design of this website. Actually it's gotten great colors and clean design. So let's just click on the memberships options. That's just click join now he and see what happens. So you can either join as a homeowner and pet owner or how Sita and pet Sita. You can click here to check out some of your views. And as you can see here, while they have a lot of excellent views, ninety-five percent excellent, 4% grade, and no average poor, bad reviews at the time of making this video, which is actually incredible. So once again, past NE I use trusted house such as.com and I'm giving you a discount code as well for trusted house such as and if you follow the link in the notes of this close, you will easily find that if you want to check out this website right here, how sit match, that's obviously totally up to you as well. And that's the end of this video. I'll see you in the next video. 17. The Perfect House Sit: Okay, in this video, I want to show you what the perfect house sitting outward looks like. I'm going to show you a slightly older example. Then I've found a while ago and I'm going to show you a very recent example that I just found today. So you can see improvements that are trusted house and his website has made as well. So here's an example of a perfect house sitting advert. So first of all, this is an unbelievable opportunity to stay in Dubai rent-free wherever does this house it would save hundreds of dollars on predation and gets to experience this amazing city with the comforts of having a luxury apartment to return, to select me deconstruct as to buy house. And I'll show you why whoever secured the city's extremely fortunate and will have an amazing time. So first of all, there's a clear headline. Want a warm winter break, and the need for a dog sitter for blablabla. So that's a very clear headline. The location is great. Now, I don't know about you, but I've been to Dubai and it certainly was amazing. Next up, look at the dates. These are great dates as well as 16th of December to fourth of January. And the images, My God, look at these images are amazing. So this is basically a very clear headline and gives you all the vital information that you need. This person is clearly thought about what is desirable from the House citizen's perspective, a warm winter break in Dubai show sounds amazing, especially since this is over Christmas. The homeowner is also very clear about the fact that you will have to take care of the dog by mentioning the keyword doc Sita and the headline, I really do think how settings should be a fair exchange between homeowner and Sita. The title makes it clear from the start that this homeowner agrees a warm winter break in return for being a dog sitter. That's fair. And these breathtaking images, all my god. So this person made a small effort of uploading for beautiful images of the dark. You'll be looking after the luxury apartment and nu by U will be how searching the pool that will be available to you, the beach that will be available to you, and a stunning landscape image of the by including the most luxurious hotels in Dubai. Another great factor is that this is suitable for families with children. So this is a sign that this luxury apartment in Dubai is clearly large enough for a family with children. Again, the homeowner is clearly aware of the potential house such as needs. And once which goes along way, this could be the holiday of a lifetime for family, for any family looking for cheap travel, cheap holidays, or simply staying in Dubai rent-free. Next up, the introduction is very clear, which is another great point. So in the introduction gets very brief clear information about why a doc slash house Sita is needed, the fact that the dock is friendly and even a neighborhood this person lives in. Next up, they're also clearly stated responsibilities. The responsibilities are clearly stated, very easy to follow, and probably very easy to execute. All you have to do is take the dog for a walk, water the plants that obviously feed the dog and make sure he's got enough water. It's also good to know that Docker's very low meets happy and relaxed. This information makes it easier as a house it into trust the homeowner. And it is very great to know that the dog is in great shape and doesn't need any medication. Now in the next video, we will talk about the features of the property at location. So stay tuned. 18. The Perfect House Sit Part 2: Okay, in this video and look at the features of the property and location. And so this is the part where this particular homeowner deserves a medal. As you can see here, I've highlighted the bids that really make this house ad stand out. It's especially good to know that there will be other such as nearby that you can communicate with. This can be very useful if you have any issues or just wanted to make some new friends. And of course, having access to six beautiful pools with caution shares workout rooms and nearby shops is always a huge plus as well. And not only that, but this homeowner also has a visitors to do list, check it out. So for example, go to the top and the world and all these other things that you can see on here and all these points basically highlight the fact that this homeowner has put some thought into the house. Said, from the city's point of view, I perhaps has experience with how sitters. So if you see a house sitting outward that looks anything like this one I just showed you, it's safe to say you should definitely apply if you can do the specified dates. So like I said, this was a house that I found a while ago and transcend households has since changed their website layout a little bit. So I'm gonna show you a brand new house. It that is very up to date for the time of making this video. So stay tuned for that next video. 19. The Perfect House Sit Part 3: Okay, so my pre-reqs video series, I showed you a house id, which was amazing. It was incredible. It was a great example of a perfect house. It is from a while ago. And for the sake of this course, I'm going to show you a house right now that I have found today at the time of making this video is so it's highly relevant in terms of website design flush trusts and hosted Just so let's have a look at this right now. So you can see the screen right here. Festival, the headline, cat to be cat full and gotten watered. Brackets mostly plots. And this is in Spain and you have to look after one cat. You can see the icon here. And if we scroll down a bit right here, you can see first of all, this first picture, all my god, wouldn't you like to say that especially for free, I show wood and you can see a little bit information about the home and pet owner. And you can see the dates needed here, tens of July until 18th of July. And you can see right here for so far only four to seven applicants. So this is an amazing opportunity to stay in Spain in this amazing property, Look at the pool, and you get to stay that rent free. So next time we'll look at the introduction. And if you look at the introduction right here, it says My husband and I both were child but still double. But as I'm sure on consultant for an English company and I decided to study to be natural health therapist later in life, it's cetera. So basically this is a detailed instruction straight away. You can see this person actually putting the information in there that you would need. And this is a good sign or an x dot. You can see it says your home and location and it says very nice villa next to beach and Mayner, short driving distance to move shopping centers, beaches and restaurants. Restaurants within walking distance. A local supermarket is a five-minute walk from house, very nice walking area to nearby villages. And they are close to confer Ghana. Anyways, there's lots of valuable good information here. So very nice villa next to beach, short driving distance to most shopping centers, beaches and restaurants. We know this is implying that they are okay with you going to the beach, going to shopping centers, going to restaurants, because you will be looking after a cat. You will have to be at the house of all times. Obviously this will be different as you'd be looking off the other no number of drops or somebody would obviously have to be the time. And so under the Homeland locations actually here you can see feature. So this House has high-speed Wi-Fi. It's close to beach, close to mountains, also close to the city countryside. Use of a car included and it is suitable for couples. So those are some great features. And again, this makes it look like an ideal house said from my personal point of view. Alright, next time this is the important bit, the responsibilities. And before I even read the text, I want to highlight that this person has put a lot of text in here. This is a very good sign, meaning that you won't have any surprises when you get to the house, you know what's coming in, know what's expected you on the same page as the homeowner. And so let's have a look at this text right here. It says Jack is about nine years older, require someone who loves cats and is willing to give him lots of attention as he loves company. Jack is no trouble, but he is used to a routine and is very sensitive. You haven't had a forever home for about a year, although we have known him his whole life, he did tend to belong to the neighborhood before we adopted him. We'd also appreciate the garden water. We have quite a few pots and a lot of debt heading is required. The garden cap tidy and pool clean. We'd appreciate the flowers being that had a daily heavy lifting Australia for a long time we are used to spending time outdoors and our garden is very much part of a home, et cetera. So again, there are very clear with the responsibility CLK and like I said previously, they seem to understand what is required for house Cij. Okay. I think, you know, keeping the pool tidies you actually obviously, you know, if you use the pool, that's fair enough. And obviously, you know, keeping the plants watered and meant to keep in the garden, you know, lightly maintained. That's okay. And you get in exchange for free accommodation at this amazing property. I think this is a great deal. And if we scroll down here, you can see the section, meet the Pats. And here is Jack, nine years old, lovely little cat. And if you look at this section down here, that is Sita feedback. Now what this means is this is how Sita feedback. So these people have had Hao such as previously. And you can see the feedback right here. So let's look at the feedback right here. It says, sometimes Steven couldn't have been more welcoming lifts from and to the airport and orientation of the area and some tasty meals, My God. So not only do you get free accommodation, they pick them up from the airport. I showed them around the area and they gave them lovely meals. I mean, this, this is just amazingness. It's like almost too good to be true. Again, let me highlight the fact that this is free accommodation. And here's some more feedback from another house sitting couple Sandra and C, for the perfect host that made us so welcome with drinks and the garden and a tasty body. Q. Then villa is more than uncomfortable, has a stunning garden and it's an excellent location for exploring. Again, my God, this just sounds perfect. So I'm tempted to reply to this myself. So I hope you understand now what a good house sitting up verbs should look like. Again, this is for trusted house, such as where I give you a discount code as well. If you do decide to purchase a membership, plan, them ok. If you do decide to go with other housekeeping websites, which is okay as well, the same rules apply. Now keep in mind the website design might look slightly different than distrusted house in this example that I just showed you. Okay. But, you know, the general stuff that I said as then, you know, the more pictures they upload, the more information they give you, you know, the more clear details they give you, obviously, the more you know what to expect and the higher the chances this will be a good houses and a good experience for you as a house Center, as well as good experience for the home owners while they're away. All right, so we discussed how sets, how to find these luxury houses, how to find the good ones, how to stay away from the bad ones. And in the next section I want to discuss what to do during an interview, how to prepare for a possible interview, what to ask during the interview, what you should expect to get asked during the interview and all that stuff. So watch the next video, I'll see you there. 20. House Sitting Interview Questions: Okay, so now that you know how to find good houses, how to stay away from the bat house sits, it's time to look at how sitting interview questions. So after you applied to a potential Howard said and you may get shortlisted for an interview. And interview is likely to happen now, this is usually happening via Skype or basically over the internet, via Skype or FaceTime or whatever application, you know, whatever it is. Basically, the point is it's good to have a few questions ready to ask. I'm gonna give you my personal list of questions right now. And before I start, I want to start with the most important one straightaway. This is so important I'm going to mention is twice, you should ask the homeowner. Homeowners if they live where they live in the place, they live in the house, the environment, the country. And if they are not really happy to live there, you get the sense that they don't really like it. Don't do the house it okay. Just let someone else do the house. Sit. I repeat, don't do that house if they're not happy with their environment, if they're not happy with where they're living, accumbens guarantee you, you will not be happy they're either towards best to stay away from those helices. Now let's have a look at my questions right here. So you should obviously ours, if you don't know, have you had how suggests in the past and you should ask them, What was that like for them? What did they like about that experience? What did they dislike about that experience? So you can learn from it. The next thing you want to ask about it, obviously the pet or the pets, if there is one to one pad, for example, do they get along well or do they not get along what you have to know about this, the more information you have, the better. Next, we want to ask about the communication. So when they're away on holiday or business trip, you know, how much communication would they like? What type of communication do they want, you know, do they want to talk on? I don't know, Facebook, but I want to talk via Skype. Do they wanna talk? Why are, you know, good old-fashioned phone call? I don't know. It's best to get that sorted straight and where you want to know this information because it's obviously very important. And now the question you want to ask is, do the pads have any known health issues? This is obviously vital for you to know because you may have to give them medication. And other thing you definitely want to ask you about is pet insurance. So what happens in case of emergency? How will the payment be handles after many houses, many times they were in contact with that that that that was aware that they will go away and if there would've been an emergency, the payment would have been handled by the homeowners. Another thing you definitely want to ask is if the pen or pads to have any known issues with people or other pets. But this is especially useful to know for dogs if you'd be walking dogs, it's a very good idea to walk the dogs with the homeowners while they are still that if that's possible. So then it will tell you, you know, they'll go the usual way and they'll tell you all this talk is lovely. You know, they'll get along really well. This talk not so much, stay away from that dog and you see a et cetera. So that's very good to know. An elephant to ask about is obviously the dates. What are the exact dates of their arrival and departure is set in stone or they're flexible and then maybe come back a little earlier and the maybe coming back a bit later. What is their schedule look like in the past? You know? Do they stick to their schedule or not? This is also very useful to know. And then if they don't stick to their original schedule, make sure that you have an agreement in place. So for example, if they come back two days or three days earlier than plan, make sure that you can still stay there or if you have arrangements to leave earlier than you can do that. So you want to ask these questions obviously to establish a level of trust. And the other benefit of these questions are that you'll obviously impress the homeowner. So there should be pretty impressed with these questions that I've just given you. This was certainly a case when I've had how such interviews and I, you know, classically secured the house sit that I wanted. And it also enabled me to find out if potential homeowners were maybe not too happy with the living situation or home situation, or if maybe just, you know, one of the people likes the animal and the other one doesn't, which is also not a good sign, but if you go to the house and obviously, so the next thing I'm going to talk about what home owners may ask you. So stay tuned for that video. I'll see you there. 21. House Sitting Interview Questions Part 2: So in my last video, I talked about what you should ask a potential home owner if you want a house that for them. This video is all about what they might ask you if they want you to be the house such slash pet sitter. And it's basically the same set of questions that I had in my last video, but obviously from the point of view of the homeowner. So they might ask you, Do you have any house teaching experience, for example? And if so, tell me about that experience. They may ask about communication. How much do you communicate? May I ask you if you've had experience with one pad, one pet, what kind of pets you looked after? They may ask you if you've dealt with paths that have had known health issues. If that had has a health issue, they may ask you if there was ever an emergency and if so what happened? They may ask you about your travel dates, if the travel dates are set or if you're flexible. And so it's basically the same questions that you ask then, but from the home owner's point of view, so be prepared for those questions ago. Any advice you to answer honestly. So if you're brand new to how fitting, tell them that you bring into how searching. But obviously, if you are doing this course, tell them that you've done a course on how searching that you've completed this course. So on Udemy, for example, you will get a certification if you've completed the course. So you can tell him that, for example, if you've had experience with are no cats or dogs previously, you could also mention that that should always be available on your profile as well for anyone to look at obviously, but it's always good to mention that again, so they gain confidence in you and may choose us that potential house sitter. Now you may think that it's difficult if you don't have any experience, if you're brand new to our searching to find a house and if you're up against people with a lot of experience and this is not always the case. People really judge people by whether they like them or not. Usually done during the interview. So I've had experiences where I've had an interview and they said that, for example, they'd show someone with no experience for personal preference, that's possible. Other reasons might be the person who just happens to live very close and they don't want someone who lives far, far away. So it is in fact possible to get how sits without any prior experience, however, I want you to have realistic expectations. So as a general rule of thumb, I would say you'd have to apply to at least 50. How sits at least 50? And more realistically, really 5200 before you can secure your first house it. So please keep that in mind. But this doesn't mean that you should just accept any houses that you may apply for. And if you didn't get to the interview stage and you know, the warning signs show up that I've talked previously about, you know, if they don't like the area, they don't seem happy and life is best to say no, they will find someone else to do. The House said, okay, I can almost guarantee you they'll find someone. And it's best to not rush this. Alright, in the next video I'm gonna talk about how sit preparation. So I'll see you in that lecture. 22. House Sit Checklist: Hosted preparations or in this video, I will discuss a checklist. This checklist is a list that I've used myself, I've developed and perfected and over the years. And you can download this free. So there should be a little section in the nodes of this section of this course. And you should just be able to download this checklist and the form of a pdf. Let's have a look at right now and go through it. So first item on the list as emergency contacts. So you should obviously know who you should contact. Emergency, usually this should be neighbors or people who live very close by and you should just be able to contact them no problem at any time in case of emergency. The next thing you need is obviously contact details of the homeowner. So when they're gone, there should still be reachable obviously. And they, in most cases want to be reached obviously from time to time. They want to make sure that everything is okay, everything is running smoothly and they can enjoy their holiday. And he obviously also know that return days when they return, how they will get back to the house and make sure you know about that as well. Next thing on the list is the details you obviously need to know about the vet just in case this kind of goes with emergency. Emergency is obviously different to a human emergency. So if there is a pad emergency in each node of that details, it's obviously also good if the vet knows that the homeowners today that everything will be covered for pen and wise. If there's an issue. Next on the list is animal feeding. So you need to know how often to feed the pet or Pat, what exactly to feed them where the food is, is there enough food for the entire duration of the house ID? So do you maybe have to go and buy some more food if so, who pays for that? In my personal opinion, obviously, the homeowner should have taken care of that already. But again, it depends on the house. It if they tell you, you know, how will just give you some money and you can buy the pet food, that's great, but make sure you know where the pet food is, which store is it? Where do they go to? What's the usual price? Make sure you are aware of all of those things. Next up is dock walking. So this is obviously specific for dogs. If you're looking after a home that has dogs as pets, and you wanna make sure that you ideally go for a walk with the homeowners as well as the dots obviously. So, you know, the Doc walk, you know, the area, you familiarize yourself with everything and you know what's going on. But same as with the other point on this list. And most cases, obviously, it's in the homeowners best interests to show you these things anyways, there shouldn't be even any need to ask for this. But just in case it's good to have this on the list. Next point is PET medication. Again, there might not be any PET medication that pets might not need anything at all in terms of medicine. So that's obviously an ideal case how this is any medicine makes sure that you know, where it is, you know, how it is applied and how much they take when to take it. And again, make sure there's enough for the duration of the house edge. Again, the homeowners to all of this, but it's good to double-check. Next up, I'm Melissa put WiFi on. What I mean by that is the Wi-Fi password. So the password for the internet. Now in many cases you will have internet on your phone, obviously through your SIM card and network provider. However, if you're in a foreign country, this may not be the case, it may not work or they may charge you crazy prices. So it's obviously good to turn on and turn off on your phone if you abroad. And in case you're in your home country and you have not iphone, that's great, but it's still good to know the Wi-Fi password. You know, you might as well use the engineered if they have very fast Internet, which many people have had at least some houses that I've personally John. So just make sure that you know the password and you don't just know the password. Make sure that you type it in while they are still there and you put it, you activate everything. You put the ancient on your computer, on your phones, on your tablet, whatever. Make sure it works, make sure there are no issues. Make sure the internet is unlimited as well. So make sure they have unlimited data and make sure that you are aware of what kind of contract there on. I've had houses where they have limited internet, meaning they only had, I don't know, ten gigabytes of 20 gigabytes per month. And personally, I'm not used to this, so I had to make sure that I was fully aware of this to not go over the limit, obviously, because I don't want the homeowners to be charged. So make sure you are aware of that as well. Next up, I'm Melissa has household duty is now this depends if they have staff or not. Okay. If they have cleaners that have gotten us, this depends on the house. Okay. This depends on each individual case, but it's good to know what kind of household duties I expected from you. And generally, like I said before, you obviously expected to leave the house as it is in a condition that you first experienced that when you've got there. So if it if it's very, very clean, you obviously are expected to maintain it at that level. However, if it's not too clean. Okay. And you may be able to tell it the homeowners who had a bit of rush packing stuff and it's usually a bit cleaner than I would recommend to obviously ask them how clean they want, what's expected of us, how such, and then to follow those instructions next time I'm Melissa has been collection and again been collection. That's something very straightforward. And you need to know what bills obviously need to know what goes where you need to know what recycling options are there. This does vary on the country on occasion, and it's very different in the United States, for example, for Europe and Asia, Australia and all that. So make sure you familiarize yourself with that and you do what they say and you follow the instructions. There are penalties if you don't follow recycling regulations in some countries such as my home country, Germany for example. So make sure you up to speed with the bin collection. Next up minister is local areas. What I mean by that is it's similar to Doc walk, but even if you're not looking after dog, let's say looking after other no catch. And it still makes sense to familiarize yourself with the local area. Little bit are known, you know, ask them where the homeowners liked to go, what I'd like to do, where the shops are, again, these are all things that the homeowner is usually mentioned by themselves, but it's just good to ask. For example, if you're special dietary requirements are known, if you are vegetarian, for example, or vegan or if you're allergic to something and you need specific, I don't know, specific food or drinks. Make sure that you know where that is available, where to get it from, etc.. And next up on this list is staff. What I mean by that is many houses actually the absolute after hat staff, what that means is they had a garden or they had a cleaner if they have stuff. What I mean by that is you need to be aware when someone is coming to the house, the homeowners expecting someone, you know, obviously you need to collect the mail, for example. Okay. But I mean, like someone who actually physically comes into the house. So I've had houses where you wanna go by our anger and who was I don't know, the mother of the person who live there, you know, just wanted to say hi, for example, and that was not planned. Obviously that was no problem, but it's always good to know if they have scheduled visit. I know they may have a delivery there may have ordered something from Amazon or whatever, something that they may not mention otherwise. So it's always good to ask, are they expecting something and expecting someone? Is someone coming around to they have a garden and you shadow cutting the bras next week or whatever. Do they have in parsing, feeding the house who comes in every Tuesday or whatever, if if that's the case, that's obviously good to know. And then next thing you should ask is do they have a KEY? Do they know how to let themselves in, it's cetera. So make sure you are aware of all of those things that could potentially happen. All right, so that's my personal check this in my next video, I'm gonna go through contracts, contracts that you can use, that are templates that you can use as a basis for legal binding documents for how sets. So check back for that video. I'll see you there. 23. House Sitting Contract: Welcome back. This video is about contracts. What do I mean by contracts? I mean, these are samples that you can use as a legally binding document if you how city or if you are a homeowner. Okay. So these are for both sides of the party. Now, I've passed the experienced some cases where I've done houses and there was no contract that didn't want to contract. And I've experienced how sets where there was a contract, meaning the homeowner printed a contract out. But then once I actually got that, they didn't bother with it. I've had others where there was a contract. And so again, this depends on each house that it depends on each homeowner. This can vary ok. Now, but for your own safety, for your security, for your peace of mind as a potential house such that if you want these contracts and push them out here for you, I'm going to go through to contract for k, not one but two. The first one is from Mike, my house, you may remember this is one of the house sitting websites that I showed you earlier. And the second one is from trusted health centers. And this is the number one house searching website in the world that I personally use and highly recommend. And so I'm gonna give you these documents again, you can download them as part of this course, should be easily available to them. And all you have to do is click on them. There should be notes for this video, for a specific video within the course that you'll be notes for this video, and it should be resources. So all you'd have to do is click on it, you can download it. I will also link to this in the nodes of this section of this course, you can also click the link and it will take you to the direct source of this on the internet so you can look at a bad anyway. So I'm going to share a screen with you now and go through this house sitting agreement. So if we look at this here, this is from mind my house and this house sitting agreement is easy to save to your computer and print. All you have to do is hover over here and then you can click this little arrow here. And then I will start downloading it. See download and you can also print it. So I'd recommend that you download or printed or both if you do decide to use it. But let's go through it right now. So this first section here is obviously date of signing this agreement. Pretty self-explanatory, obviously homeowner, how such names, address of the property and disagreement texts effect on and ends on. So this is all pretty straight forward. And then 6x here, the homeowner gifts to how Sita permission to occupy the above premises as long as they abide by the conditions of this agreement, et cetera. So you make sure you read all this, you agree with all this, and then we have the different points here. The first section is access to the premises and the homeowner agrees that, for example, to provide the house that I would at least seven days notice any change of the agreed first day of the house sitting assignment. Now again, you can obviously change this template. This is just a template and you can't change it. You can also write up your own. You can also contact a lawyer and come up with one with the help of a professional lawyer. But basically, the point of this is to have peace of mind as to how Sita and also as a homeowner. So here's what the homeowner also agreed to to provide the house settle with seven days notice of an inspection of the premises, that the premises will be vacant and inhabit should look ambition for how it's Egyptian. Move in on the agreed first day of the house sitting assignment. Homeowner or any person authorized in writing by the homeowner may only enter the premise of Georgia terms of disagreement in the following circumstances in an emergency, if the premises seem to be abandoned for any other purpose, if the house such as agrees. Again, this seems a little extreme. I mean, I passed the US House, Sita, if they want to send someone around there, tell me that's great. If they don't tell me about it and obviously would seem a little bit like that checking up on you, which is not great. That kind of is implying that they're not trusting you wishes not so great. And the other reason I want to know someone's coming around is to make sure that I'm actually in. So it especially if you're looking after dark, so you may not be that because obviously you might be walking their dogs. 24. House Sitting Contract #2: Welcome back. This video is about contracts. What do I mean by contracts? I mean, these are samples that you can use as a legally binding document if you are a house or if you are a homeowner. Okay. So these are for both sides of the party. Now, I've passed the experienced some cases where I've done houses and there was no contract that didn't want to contract. And I've experienced how sets where there was a contract, meaning the homeowner printed a contract out. But then once I actually got there, they didn't bother with it. I've had others where there was a contract. And so again, this depends on each House that it depends on each homeowner. This can vary. Okay. Now, for your own safety, for your security, for your peace of mind as a potential house such that if you want these contracts and push them out here for you, I'm going to go through to contract for k, not one but two. The first one is from Mike, my house, you may remember this is one of the house, the two websites that I showed you earlier. And the second one is from trusted health such as this is the number one house searching website in the world that I personally use and highly recommend. And so I'm going to give you these documents again, you can download them as part of this course. It should be easily available to download. So this first section here is obviously gain of scientists agreement. Pretty self-explanatory, obviously homeowner, house sitter names, address of the property and disagreement takes effect on and ends on. So this is all pretty straight forward. And then 6x here, the homeowner gives the house sitter permission to occupy the above premises as long as they abide by the conditions of this agreement, et cetera. So you make sure you read all this, you agree with all this, and then we have the different points here. The first section is access to the premises and the homeowner agrees that, for example, to provide a house at least seven days notice any change of the agreed first day of the house sitting assignment. Now again, you can obviously change this template. This is just a template and you can't change it. You can also write up your own. You can also contact a lawyer and come up with one with the help of a professional lawyer. But basically, the point of this is to have peace of mind as how Sita and also as a homeowner. So here's what the homeowner also agrees to to provide the house settle with seven days notice of an inspection of the premises, that the premises will be vacant and inhabit should look ambition for how it's attention. Move in on the agreed first day of the house sitting assignment. Homeowner or any person authorized and writing by the homeowner may only enter the premises during the Champs of disagreement in the following circumstances and an unmatched and see if the premises seem to be abandoned for any other purpose, if the house sitter agrees. Again, this seems a little extreme. I mean, I passed the US House sutta, if they want to send someone around there, tell me that's great. If they don't tell me about it and obviously would seem a little bit like that checking up on you, which is not braid, that kind of is implying that they're not trusting you, which is not so great. And the other reason I want to know someone's coming around is to make sure that I'm actually in. So it especially if you're looking after dogs, you may not be that because obviously you might be walking the dogs. Okay. 0.1.2 are things that the house sitter agrees to. So for example, the first is to be responsible for any act by any paths and the house sitter allowed on the premises who breaks any terms of the agreement. So again, if you're a house at a time, if you do this internationally, that's obviously little to no chance that you'll invite someone onto the premises passively. I've never experienced a situation where I have actually invited anyone to house it that I've done, especially because they're all abroad and I didn't know anyone in that country. But it obviously gives the homeowner peace of mind. If you show them that you don't invite any random people into the house and you're going to, you know, if you have any friends in the place and by that, you know, gonna invite them because that just makes you look unprofessional. Or at 0.2 is k of the premises. So again here, the homeowner agrees to ensure that the premises are reasonably clean and fit to live in. Now, this is a little bit vague. If you want to be specific with this obviously different people have different levels of, you know, tidiness. And you wanna make sure that you are aware of how clean they are. And if they are, for example, known very clean, then make sure your wealth is and make sure you okay of this if you want to do the House set or on the contrary, if they're extremely clean. You also wanna make sure that you can maintain that level of cleanliness and how Sita agrees not to use the premises or allow the premises to be used for any illegal path has obviously not to cause any nuisance or allow nuisance to be caused on the premise that not to interfere or allow Alice to interfere with reasonable peace, comfort, and privacy of neighbors, not to keep any animal on-premises other than those listed in this agreement, not to block any sink or drain, not to cause damage, to be close to the premises. Each calf, every item in the premises regularly clean bathroom, kitchen. Now again, this specific point record clean bathroom and kitchen. If they don't have any clean as you need to do this yourself should be a wealth. You need to be well, you know what to eat, how to clean, whether cleaning you chances are where the Hoovers, if they want you to hoover. Hoover have enough backs that they have enough cleaning materials. Do they have enough washing up liquid, that kind of stuff if you I expected you to dishes, that kind of thing. So this again, is very specific and depends on a case by case basis. So if you want to be 100% exact with this, you just have to ask these questions in advance and design a contract based around that specific house it, but for general template, this is pretty good. Regularly clean the bathroom and kitchen goes without saying you do that anyways, at least my personal opinions, so but it's good that it's on here. To maintain the grounds and garden San conditions as the start of this agreement to put all household rubbish and recycling, offer regular collection to report any infestation of the premises to the homeowner and seek advice for solutions to the problem, to keep the premises as clean and tidy as at the start of this agreement, to notify the homeowner As soon as possible any damage to the premises, to leave the premises as neatly as nearly as possible in the same condition, fair wear and tear expected as a start-up is Riemann. Directly feed wartime, maintain any indoor plants and keep them in at least as good a condition as at the stamp. This agreement again is depends if they have, you know, I I don't know, a cleaner and care a gardener or anything like that or if that's specific plants that may not even need water because they have a, you know, again scene at all to keep windows and doors locked where appropriate, and ensure that any Ellis security measures and the premises are used effectively. So some homes have security systems where you need a coach. You want to be absolutely 100% sure that you know the code cache, you want that written down k, you want them written down in case you forget. And you also want to know what to do in case the alarm goes off, for example. So if they have a security system, the alarm goes off. You obviously want to know what to do. Now, some things are so basic to the homeowners, so used to this that they may not mentioned it because they're so used to this. However, this is obviously completely new for you, has this agreement for example, and my checklist earlier so you can go through all of these things and familiarize yourself with them. Our next point on here is care of the animals. And it says right here, name and describe each animal should be covered by this agreement. Describe how you would like each animal to be managed on day-by-day basis, include details of any medication or special treatment that each animal requires. And again, the homeowner agrees to certain things such as to describe in writing and in detail how any animals normally resident at the premises should be cat food. It is obviously very important. They shouldn't just write this down. They should also tell you about is which I'm sure they do. I don't think I've ever had any house and when they don't tell you these things, but it's just good to have this in writing as well. And then down here that how such a agrees to, for example, to make every reasonable effort to ensure good health, comfort, safety, and happiness of the animals listed in this agreement. And here we have veterinarian contact details and after hours emergency cells for animals that's very good to know. And here we have a section for the pets covered by the agreement. And next section here is payment for utilities. So for an accurate calculation of the House, it has liability for utility charges. All Railroad meter readings should be taken you to stop assignment before the house that he leads the premises at the end of the assignment, further meeting rains can be taken and the house such as share of cost can be accurately calculated. Again, this is if you share your change because personally, I don't think I've ever had has said, well, I shed utility costs or pay utility costs because the either chose not to do them or I basically taught the homeowner out of it. Because really if you think about it to have the ability to keep the pets in their home environment, especially if you looking after dogs. Okay, that's a huge class. And they would normally have to go into cannibals, which is not very nice and also very expensive depending on where you live. Okay. So to have someone in there and have to, especially with dogs, to have them stay in a natural environment. That's very nice. However, as I said earlier, I see how such a thing as a fair equal transaction between homeowner and how subtle where both parties when I'm passing the I don't like charging for how searching. So I don't like to be a paid house sitter, and I also don't like if the homeowners get paid though, obviously, because then it's just like paying rent. And you might as well go to a hotel Airbnb. So the point of housing is that it should be free accommodation and this should include, in my personal opinion, no charges for electricity and gas and any other utilities. However, if you do them very long house it, then this might change. So again, this is obviously a case-by-case basis that you should make sure that you are aware of for each individual house said, and you should make sure that the homeowner is agreeing with you. And this next point here is about the homeowner green to pay or reimbursed houses for the following costs. Municipal service charges such as council tax and rates, all costs and killed by the House and the cow, the animals listed in this agreement, all costs of emergency repairs or routine maintenance of the premises. And again, this is fair enough. Let's move on to the next point. The house agrees to pay service providers directly or reimbursed homeowner for the following utilities. Electricity, gas, telephone caught water, access, Ramesh, internet, cable or satellite TV. Again, possibly this was never an issue. I never had to pay utilities or internet or TV. But like I said, again, if this is a very long Howard said this may change and this is what his contract. It's again very good because you can see here there's gas meter, electricity meter, and water meter and the date recorded so that at least gives you an option. Scroll down, there's additional terms here. Any additional champs and conditions may be edges agreement here. All parties since agreement need to initial each additional term. See the homeowners checklist Appendix B of this agreement for additional points you may want to address here. So here we have space for additional things to mention, which is great and scroll down, maintenance and repairs, what Agile we passed. The homeowner agrees to make payment either directly to the service provider, reimbursement to the houses or for the following January pass. This is a very important point, actually know what happens if something breaks. So we have, for example, but water pipe blocked or broken Laboratory System series roughly Gosling electric electrical thoughts. Come speak. Electric unfolds, flooding or serious flood damage, et cetera. So again, this varies on the locations. On certain occasions you will not have some of these issues, obviously, such as flooding for example. But in others this may be a serious issue. So again, once again, it's just good to have this contract and place. Here we have repairs and emergency contact details, gas electrician, plumber, builder, and window repair. This is all just good to have, just in case. Locke smears local police, fire service, et cetera. Again, very unlikely this any of this is happening on thing I've ever had any of these issues, but it's just good to have this in place. Reimbursement for repairs. The homeowner agrees to pay the house. That was unfortunately, it's at the end of the house sitting agreement, et cetera. Again, this varies by a homeowner as well. I've had homeowners web pages, left money and said Here is some money just in case. I've had homeowners to say here's some money, you know, just in case and for pet food or, you know, go out and treat yourself, go to this restaurant and really like it's my favorite, You should go that experienced the meal, et cetera, on a contract here. Stay in contact. Number seven, the homeowners contact details. So the homeowner agrees to provide house into with contact details for use during a channel disagreement. These contact details, whether phone or fax numbers, postal, email addresses, should remain current and a functional during a term of this agreement. Now, in most cases, I have contacted them via either email or Facebook, really engineer. So again, this varies depending on the house. And we have a contact person, so the homeowner may choose to manipulate as third party to act on their behalf during the term of this agreement? Again, I don't think I've ever had that happened, but it's just good to have this option of a party just in case. And here we have just a house, it has contact details that's pretty straightforward. And then down here we have a chairman nation of agreement. This is also very important now I've never had a termination of agreement so far, but this is obviously very important to have termination of agreement. The homeowner agrees to give the house it at least seven days notice of an early termination of this agreement if the agreement is for less than six months and to give the house at least 28 days notice of an early termination of this agreement if the agreement is for six months or longer. So this is just to back yourself up really as a, you know, safety measurement. Again, I've never had this happen, but it's just good to have it here. And the house sitter agrees to not leave the premises before the end of this agreement without written permission from the homeowner or no magnetic contact person to give bacon possession off the premises to the homeowner or nominator conduct persons on the date of termination of this agreement, et cetera, et cetera. Again, I've never had this happen. It's just good to have this here. And both parties agree that if either party persistently breaches this agreement, then the innocent party may terminate its agreement on 24 hours notice that termination of this agreement does not affect the right of either party to recover any monies, do under the terms of this agreement. Here we have signatures on witnesses, homeowner, and how such I enter into this agreement and agree to all these terms. And then here you just sign and she no initials and sign and witnesses as well initially and sign. And here we have appendix AS a security deposit. Now a security deposit, what this means is if you're not familiar with it, is you give the homeowner's money or basically you give a landlord money if you rent or property as well, and they hold onto this money as a security deposit, as the name suggests, you can do with houses as well. Again, I've never done a zone had ever done this. Habit is just Goodyear to have. I don't think most homeowners are, you know, they don't do this, but it's just good. As an example. So how is such a security deposit to be paid by the house which obviously have heeded deposit amount. Address of the premises type of payment, the Day Age, homeowner section, how is it that section, how such a refund? And then if we scroll down here and we have lunch in a security deposit lodgement form with a third party used this part of the form. If you're going to be launching the deposit with a third party for safekeeping. So again, this is for the homeowner just in case. This next section here is about how Sita expense claims again, I've never had to fill out how subtask spends clouds. I've never claimed any expenses, to be honest, like I said previously, homeowners have always been very generous. They've been very kind claim description and the cost and how subtle liability claims continued. And then if we scroll down here, we have just more of that with signatures again. Appendix B is the home owners checklist before you go. So this is for the homeowners, this might be very useful if you're watching this course and you decided to be a homeowner who once house such as, as one of you as if you are house Sutta and you want to, you know, have a homeowner's checklist. You can use this as well. This is pretty similar to my own checklist, but there you go through some additional things on here. Pretty good from what I can tell such as Speck, he's for example. So that's very good. Very nice. Yes. And this is the ad that says you have few well done, you've made to the end of this list now you can leave your home knowing that your house, such as exceptionally well prepared to take on the duties and responsibilities towards you, your property and your animals, relax and go. So this is why I actually showed you this specific template by mind my house now, like I said previously, I'm not affiliated with micro house anything. I just think this is a very good example template. Now you don't have to include all of those things that I mentioned in this template. You can adjust the template, you can copy it and at certain other things that you feel there's something missing from my personal experience, no, ASA harvested who's done it for many years. This is a great template and I can only recommend this. Now, my next section, we'll look at the second template by trusted house such as. So stay tuned for that. I'll see you there. 25. House Sitting Contract #3: Now in my last section, I look at a sample contract by mind, my house, a sample contract for how citizens as well as homeowners. This was free to download. And in this section I'm going to look at another sample contract. This one is by trusted house such as, again, this is free to download our link, this and the note section of this course, I will give you the option to download as directly as well. You should simply be able to click on this downloaded and that's it. So if we look at the top of this agreements here, it says straight away, this example agreement is not an official legal document, but can use as the basis for one drawn up by lawyer. This agreement is able to home. And how such agreed terms of what is expected from each pot you regarding the house sitting assignment. So this is the house setting agreement by trusted House suggest, like I said, Palestinian, I've used trusted houses for many years. So I wanted to mention this document right here because I think it's also very well, John, like the other one. So it starts off right here saying that this agreement is made on the blah, blah, blah day of between Canada and the homeowner house, such blah, blah, blah. The agreement relates to the project at et cetera, with effect from date until and mage date. So you add the dates here, the home and our grants permission to the house that you occupy the above premises. Pursuant to the terms and conditions contained in this agreement, the homeowner makes the following express terms, no persons or pets outlined specifically included four in this agreement, admitted to live at the premises during the term of this agreement. And then it just goes on to say more about the agreement and then and the homeowner agrees sort of following things here to provide all food and Sandra items and equipment for the calve animals. Alternatively, the homeowner can agree with the house sitter to reimburse the house it of any foods or supplies board for the animals during the assignment. Now again, I've said this in my previous videos as well. This does depend on the house sit but and usually they have enough food for the animals. Obviously, it's in the homeowners best interest to have enough food that they usually have a ton of dog food for looking after dog, for example, or cat food. So there's usually isn't an issue, so, but it's just good to have it here has just make in just make sure to double-check. And this goes on to say To make arrangements for the payment for any services provided by the quantified by generic in the treatment and calf the homeowners animals to give full details of all pets requiring capturing your assignment, the homeowner undertakes to provide the how Sita with at least seven days notice of any change to the agreement that they have to house the team assignment, that the premises will be vacant and then a reasonable condition for the House to tend to live in on the first day of the house setting assignment, the home or the authorized agent may enter the premises during the chance of this agreement and the following circumstances and an emergency, the premises had been abandoned and at any time of the consent of the house, Sita. And again, this is the same as in the previous agreement. So let's read on the homeowner agrees and will provide premises reasonably clean and fit to live in. Again, it's it's never been issue. The homes have always been very clean and very reasonable, which live in indeed. Alright, and if we scroll down, we see things that the House Sita agrees to, for example, to give regional effort. To ensure good health, cleanliness, comfort, safety, and happiness of the animals covered by this agreement. And again, this is very similar to the other contract that I've just covered in the previous videos, just slightly different words. So if you prefer this one, you can also use this one. If we scroll down here, we see some suggestions, for example, animal's name and describe in general it should be covered by this agreement. Give details on how you would like each animals should be managed on a daily basis, include details of any medications or special treatment that each animal requires, and then he can do it here. And that's cost of the premises. Again, if the parties agree that the house is to pay the cost of the utilities consumed by him or her during the assignment, then all relevant meter readings should be taken. The assignment before the end of the assignment, further meteoroids can be taken and the House Citrus costs can be calculated. Like I said in the previous video, this has never been the case. I've never been charged for utilities and I don't think there should be Utility Charge unless the house it it's like several months long. So but again, it's this really bearing on a case-by-case basis. So make sure that you are aware of the situation when it comes to utility costs, and this is what its contract once again comes in. So like I said in a previous video, you can obviously alter these contracts. You can discuss them with the homeowner and make custom contract for your specific houses. This is just a template. Anyway, so let's move on. How Sita may agree to pay utilities and telephone intercept any cable, satellite television. And once again, this has never been the case for Skoda, heat us any additional chance. Repair and emergency contact details. This is the same as the other contract. Very good to have these details, obviously reimbursement for repairs. Here we have homeowner contract details, nominated contact person and how Sita contact details. And here we have the termination of agreement. This is the same as on the other contract is just a very good thing to have in place for security reasons, just in case. And here we have the Signature section in appendix a is again a security deposit that is to be paid by the house into again, like I said in the previous video, I have never had to pay a deposit, but this may vary on the patent on the homeowner. So it's just again, just to have this code here and plays on this template how such a refund, launching a security deposit, et cetera, how such expense claims if you have any expenses, how subtle liability claims, et cetera. So this is the same as on the other contract. If we scroll down here, we have appendix speed homeowners checklist, and this is pretty much the same checklist that we saw on the other contract that sit. So this is a slightly different contract than the one I showed you previously. Both of these contracts or sample template contracts are great for you to use, again, that totally free to use. I've added them as part of this course. Free of charge, you can download them. I've also linked to them. You can just click on the link and view them online. Both the three can print them out, you can edit them. It's totally up to you. This is just as a piece of mine. It's just good to have. Alright, so that's it for the contract. Once you have all that sorted, it's time to look at transport and that's what I wanted to talk about the next few videos. So I'll see you that. 26. Transportation Tip: Welcome to another video in the series of how to travel the world without paying for accommodation. In the previous videos, I told you all about the contracts that you can use for your house getting assignments. You can also use some of your home on this section will focus on transport. So once you have a house it secured, you want to look at transport. And this section specifically is about flights. So if you're doing an International House it so for example, when I started, I was limited in the UK at the time my first house that happen to be in Australia. So it was very important to find best flights. Now, there is a lot of information about travel hacks on my website, traveling needles.com. I will link this in the notes of the section. I will link to relevant articles. There are specific sections on how to find the best flights, how to find the cheapest flights. This works worldwide. I will discuss this more as a bonus part actually at the end of this course because this is not really anything to do with how searching or accommodation. But let me just briefly said once you have the house had secured, it depends on whether house it is. So if it isn't the same country as you, you obviously only to fly them. You have a car, you can drive that. If you don't have a car and you want to use public transport, you can use a bus or train, whatever you feel comfortable with if you're on a budget, however, it makes sense to look at the cheapest option. Again, this varies, but I have found passively and Europe it's usually buses. And again, there's a lot of measurements on my website traveling weasels.com. If you're in the US, it may not even be buses, it may be flying. Totally depends where you are in the US, it's the same in Asia actually. So again, point of this video is to just make you well at once you have the house, it, it makes sense to look at the transport and you want to have to sort it as soon as possible. And at this stage the contract comes in very handy because once you book the transport, you don't want the homeowners changing their mind. And it also makes you look very professional as to how such that if you take this transport section very seriously and if you book that is transportation as soon as possible because then he can show the homeowners look, guys, I've booked transportation, I'm ready to go, are taken seriously and they will appreciate that as well. So that's it for transport for now. But I'll mention specific websites that you can use traveled hogs at the end and a bonus section of this course because once again, it's not really about free accommodation, this is more about transport budgets. Wanting to make this quick video to let you know that you should take the transportation seriously, especially if you're doing an International House, it 27. The First House Sit: Important points for how sets, alright, so this section is all about you actually doing your first house sit or any harvested for that matter. And what are some important points that you should be aware of? What I'll talk about in this specific video is the home owners leaving. So what will happen in usually, in most cases, at least in my personal experiences, you will get there. Homeowners are still that, so they haven't left yet, although I may be exceptions to this rule, but usually that's the way I have experienced that. You usually get that. And if it's International House and you'll get to the airport, and in many cases, the homeowners will actually arrange transport, even pick you up from the airport, especially if you've never been to the country. I mean, hormones have been so incredibly generous. Natives welcomed me with open arms and it's been such an amazing experience. And really it was like family, which was amazing, which is a great start to be in a new country if you receive, if you welcomed and such a friendly way and it just makes you feel amazing. So that's really cool. And again, you get free accommodations. So you usually get driven to the house, or even if you have to get you the house itself. But also, you know, it's interesting to see the house is exciting and it's really cool. It's a great experience. Hence, why I'm making this course and one recommending this method of rent-free accommodation travel, especially if international. So the homeowners are usually that they would usually obviously welcome you with open arms. That's all great. But what you want to make sure as you want to make sure that you know what's happening when they leave. So when exactly do they leave? How will they leave? What's going to happen to the animals? What time would exact time they leave? And what do they want to do in terms of actually lead in half? They got someone to drive them to the app board. What are they gonna do with that car if they traveled by train and what they're gonna do with their car, or maybe they'll get picked up and be driven to the airport with Chuck C, et cetera. It all depends. So you have to be aware of those things at this stage. I also want to mention that it's really important for you to ask if they've had any previous house such as and if so, how did the animals behave? So especially if they had dogs, you know, how dogs act. According to previous house suggests and what you have to look out for. If it's a cat, cats, you know, how did they react and they carry it all depends. So it's just really good to be aware of those things are in my next video, I discussed contract with the homeowners while they are on holiday and you actually do in the house it saw See you next video. 28. Contact with the Home Owners: So this video is about contact with the homeowners while the homeowners on holiday or on a business ship. Now, what you have to consider here is where they're actually going. So it's possible that they will go quiet far away. In other words, a completely different time zone, which obviously makes it more difficult to stay in touch unless it's via email. So my pencil experience, if they are in fact quite far away, it's best to keep in touch via email. Some who owners prefer to not hear anything, I just want to enjoy your holiday and others preferred should be updated regularly, let's say every few days or once a week depending on how long the house it is. But this really, really varies. And again, this is what my checklist comes in that I mentioned earlier. This is where these contracts come in that I mentioned earlier. So make sure that you are you are totally aware of what the homeowner expects from you, how often they want to be contacted, what they want you to be updated about. And it's also it's obviously very important to also know what to do in an emergency and how they want to be contacted in an emergency. So again, this is what a contract comes as very important to have that in place. Hence, I'm making this video just to highlight that fact once again, another thing that's very important is to know what to do when the homeowners come back, so when they arrive, and that's what I'm going to talk about my next video. So I'll see you there. 29. Home Owners Return: Okay, so in this video, I want to talk about what you do when the homeowners arrive. And more importantly, you need to get all the information before they even arrived. So you need to be aware of when the homeowners are coming back, how del B gets him back, what flight down if they're flying, what trained now and if that shaken trends, et cetera, you wanna make sure that you are aware that they come back when they come back. And you wanna make sure that you are also aware if there's any possible delays or as they're coming back earlier. This was all mentioned previously in the contracts and my checklist as well. I just want to make sure that you especially aware of the importance that, you know, when they come back, you obviously want the house to be very presentable. You want everything to be perfect really. And at the same time, I just want to tell you what it's like as a house sitter when he homeowners come back because it's usually very nice experience. Homeowners are very relaxed when they come back from holiday and there are obviously super happy to see the pads if they have animals, especially dogs. And another thing I want to mention is that you may be wondering if you can stay a few days, for example, one or two days after the house, it is supposed to finish just in case there is a possible delay. And this is something that some home owners really polish. They really want you to say a little bit longer, just encased as a possible delay. There is absolutely no problem because really all of these houses, all these homes and even apartments are state and there had been so luxurious, they'd been so big, there was so much space that you can stay there, no problem. So I just want to make sure that you understand that it isn't a problem for most homeowners. If you say that, look, can I stay a few days later because I just want to make sure that the animals are taken care of just in case there is a delay. Maybe your flight goes, I don't know, a few days after the homeowners come back, if this isn't International House sit, that's also possible and most homeowners will be okay with this. And again, the contracts I've showed you previously can be adjusted to incorporate that as well. Okay, my next video talking about references, so stay tuned for that. 30. References: And it's really, I want to talk about references. So once the home owners get back and the house, it is done and everything is OK. And everything is finished and everything has come to an end. You want to get a reference from the homeowners for your house sitting profile on your house searching website. So for example, if you are trusted house such as you have the option of receiving reviews and references. It's very simple. It's a very straightforward process. You just want to make sure that the homeowner doesn't forget because obviously it's not in their top agenda to give you a review of reference. So you may have to send them an email and say, hey, can you please give me a review or reference of my services? And once you have that, obviously it's, it's really good to have that on your profile because it will make it easier to get future house sits. So I just want to stress the importance here. It's very important for how cities to have these reviews slash references. It's obviously not too important for the homeowner Because as long opposite that come back from the holiday and as long as the house tidy and the headstall K, obviously don't care about anything else. So it's not in the top top agenda for homeowners, but as such, I like I said, this can make a huge difference. So I just want to stress the importance of these reviews. And on Saturn upsides like tried to house the SWOT example, you also get the option to review the homeowner. Again, this makes it easier for potential house sits to separate them from good ones, from bad ones. And it's, it's very interesting information. And sometimes that's usually obviously very positive because homeowners are usually very nice. People. Just wanted to make this video to highlight the fact that people can't forget about these references or reviews and you may have to, you know, remind them. Which is fair enough though. Ok, my next video I wanna talk about a little bonus section and a little food for thought or things that you can do during the houses. So stay tuned for that. 31. Websites Promo: Okay, so this is a bonus section of things to do during the house. This is a very specific video of my own personal experience of what I did when I started house sitting on chaos very young. I mentioned previously that my first house, it was in Australia, which was the other side of the world for me. Okay. Because I was living in the UK at chai and what I did during my first nine months actually of house cij and in fact, the longer than that, but I started in Australia and stayed there for nine months. I was Howard sitting back-to-back and during this time, I was actually learning how to set up multiple income streams. I was learning how to set up a blog. I was learning how to set up my own website. Basically, I was learning all about online business. Now, if you are fortunate enough to be house sitting and a few, maybe menu retired, maybe you have a part-time job that you can do online. You obviously have a lot of free time during his house sits. And it makes complete sense to learn the skills. Now, I am making courses on this as well on how to earn an income from multiple income streams online. So if you want to check out my profile, there are more courses available. I also have several websites. I will link them in the notes section of this video, you can check them out. Also have YouTube channels with useful videos and social media channels as well that you can check out. So if you want to know more about this, I highly recommend you check them out. And now it's back to the regular section of the course. In the next section is all about dealing with potential issues during how sits. So stay tuned for that. 32. Possible Issues: Dealing with issues. This specific video is basically about expecting the unexpected. So I previously mentioned this in the contract section and in the checklist section. But basically, something always doesn't get mentioned. Ok, please forgive the homeowners if you are a house sitter and they don't mention every single thing, okay. That's always something that they may forget to mention the herself just so we're Team for them. If they've lived in place for decades, if they've lived in the same house or if they've taken care of to Sam pets for a long time, they may not remember every single thing, okay. In that case though, is making a lot of sense. If you are able to contact them, and if you then just simply contact them and ask, you know, don't be shy to write them an email even if they are on holiday and just make sure that you know what you're doing, you're doing the right thing. I just wanted to make this video to basically make sure you expect the unexpected and you are okay with that. So I'm not necessarily saying that something will go wrong. Okay. Please don't misunderstand. I'm just saying that something is likely to happen that you just didn't expect, it may not necessarily be negative. I've never had something happen. And once again, this is just where the contract comes into. Everything should be covered under the and my chapters that I gave you as well. However, there might be certain things that are just so specific to the House or so specific to the paths that it may not get mentioned. In that case, it is best to ask and don't guess, don't take a guess on what should do and just, you know, act out of blind instinct or guesswork. But in that case, just actually contact the homeowner, asked them what to do and follow that clear instructions. If it's something that requires immediate attention and it's a little more of an emergency. I'll make a separate video for that. This will be my next video, so I'll see you there. 33. Emergencies: All right, so this video is about emergencies. I have made previous videos about the contract and about my checklist which should cover all about emergency procedures. What should do if there is an emergency now, touch wood, I have never had an emergency as a house sitter. Nothing bad has ever happened. However, I did actually injure myself in-between, Howe said, so it's just in between houses and an injury took place. But I still carried out a house. It basically was able to do the House, said and I was very fortunate that the homeowners one is standing and was actually a problem for me to do the house because I had to look after a dog and I basically injured my arm, but I could still use Mao bomb and it was fine. But basically the point is that if there is an emergency, I'm not just talking emergency with yourself and Hawking emergency with the patents. Well, you need to know that you will have a car ready to, you know, if it's a doc for example, doctrine, the back or what to do with a cat. A cat is injured or whatever the cat may not easily, let's say I go with you to do that. So you have to know where, you know things. For example, the cage so you can put the cat in and then check the catcher that something like that, for example, say you need to be totally aware of all of this. And again, medication as well. If that is medication, make sure there's enough medication like I previously mentioned, and in case of house emergencies as well. So what to do if there's a fire? What you do if there is a flood, these kind of things that are very location dependent like I previously mentioned. But it's just good to know is just really good to have this knowledge, which just while making this video specifically for you to keep emergencies in mind. Alright, the next section of this course will deal with short-term travel versus long-term travel. Obviously both with three accommodation. And I'll see you there. 34. Short Term Travel Tips: Okay, this section of the course, I want to talk about short-term travel versus long-term travel and how you can combine both of these things with how settings. So let's start with short-term travel in this video. So what do I mean by short-term travel? As the name suggests, I basically mean that you have a job. That means that you have to stay in one location or there's some other circumstances which means that you want to stay in one location and you just use how sitting as a way of getting holiday for free accommodations. So that's basically short-term travel. Obviously, you don't have to have one location. You could be a digital nomad and still use how sitting as a short-term travel method that's also possible. But basically my point here is how sitting is are suitable for short-term travel, as I discussed earlier, because many houses are available during a holiday period, for example, Christmas. So if you want to travel during the Christmas time, you don't want to pay for accommodation. House sitting is obviously the way to go. Now what a palace needed though, is long-term travel, and that's what I'm going to discuss in the next video. So I'll see you there. 35. Long term Travel Tips: In this video, I'm gonna discuss long-term travel and how you can combine that with how searching. So that's actually what I did myself. I started house sitting in Australia and I stayed in Australia for nine months without paying for accommodation. And I was sitting basically back to back in different parts of Australia at the time of my life, it was amazing. It was beautiful. I stayed in incredible homes, like I said at the beginning of this course. And I actually use this time that I had this new free time to start a business. And the business was my blog, but also the other things online, basically freelance work and also educated myself on the many ways that you can earn money online. And the beauty of this is that you can do this from anywhere in the world. So I'm now happy to say that I am a digital nomad, am location independent. And I'm actually fortunate enough to be in a position where you can get e-mails from travel businesses and hotels and tourism agencies. And they want to work with me because my website is so successful. So I'm in a position where I don't even need to house it anymore. So what I'm saying here is, if you already have a job that can be done from a computer, can be done online, that it's location independent, or that could be location independent. You may seriously want to consider taking that job with you and just doing it all around well, while you house it and stay in other people's homes for free. So that way you get the best of both worlds. You have the security of an income and you also get to travel. Like I said, what I did at the beginning it was purely how a sitting. And this is basically what I want to end this course and leave you with that information. However, there are bonus tips coming up, so I have two more sessions planned for you in the next two videos, I'm going to discuss some bonus material. This is exclusive for you guys, so I hope you enjoy the content. Thank you so much for watching this course. Once again, if you have any questions, you can contact me right here, simply sent me a message. You can also contact me on social media. And I want to say a massive thank you for watching this course all the way until the AM. Thank you so much. And I'm currently in the process of making more courses and I've already made causes previously. So if you want to check out my profile, check out my other courses that would be greatly appreciated for more material on how setting that is my website, traveling weasels.com. There's also the German version, traveling weasels dot d if you happen to speak German. And so in the next video I want to talk about Bonus Tip one, which is something that you can combine with how a sitting to extend your travels. So I'll see you in that lecture. 36. Bonus Tip #1: Hello and welcome to my first bonus tip. This bonus tip is all about Airbnb. So if you are successfully how searching, and if you let say for example, you really like a certain area that your house sitting in and you want to explore more of it. Let's say you are how sitting in Italy and you want to explore other node at say, the capital Rome, what you can do is rent and Airbnb and combined how sitting with Abby and we now, this is obviously not free accommodation, but he has a special chip that you can do. Airbnb offers a service where you actually get Airbnb credit if you refer people to Airbnb, like I am doing right now. So if you check out the link that comes in the nodes of this course, you will see my Airbnb laid and if you use that, I will get Airbnb credit at no additional charge to you and then I can use that credit to rent Airbnb properties. Now, that's only wanted though. Here is the second tip, and this is where it gets really interesting. I was renting a lot. I still am wrenching Airbnb a lot depending on time of year and the country that I'm in. And what I've noticed is that as always, new listings. And you want to take advantage of these new listings. And what you wanna do is you want to contact the people with new listings and you want to tell them, hey, this listing actually looks really nice and you don't have to live. You can only say applied resistance if you really think they do, look very nice. And you can tell them that because they don't have any reviews yet, you really appreciate a discount. So that way you get to stay in amazing, every B's potentially amazing Airbnb is, and you get a discount daft. And as many times, in most cases, the owners are very interested because they obviously want you to stay there and obviously reviews. And this is a win-win. Now, if you're a budget traveler and you really want to travel the cheapest way and find the cheapest flights as well. That's what I'm going to be discussing and my next bonus tip video. So I will meet you there. 37. Bonus Tip #2: Alright, so my last video, I gave you two tips about Airbnb. The first one was to use Airbnb is affiliate programs. So you can get Airbnb credit that you can then use towards your avenues to get a cheaper range. And the second tip was to basically find newly listed Airbnb is that haven't got any reviews yet. And then contact us directly and basically asked them for discount because they haven't got any reviews yet. Now that's one amazing thing that you can do. And you can combine this with house settings. You wanna stay an area along Lucky house sitting internationally, or if you have such a nationally but you're kind of far away. Usual location. Now, if you are planning to travel a lot, there is a way to find the cheapest flights at all times, and that's what I want to briefly discuss in this video. And so here is how it works. You basically have to use a specific website. The website is called Kiwi.com, KI wi, and this is all linked in the nodes underneath this video. And once again, I am giving you two options and affiliate link and a normal link. And if you use the affiliate link, I get a percentage of the cell and the cell at no additional charge to use OUT. Greatly appreciated if you use my affiliate link, of course. So the reason why I think key with upcoming so awesome is because they compare different aviation carriers to find you the cheapest flight. And the website is very easy to follow. I wanna quickly show you how it works. So if you use this example here, if we are flying from Budapest to London, you simply put Budapest to London and you will basically find this. And as you can see here, C0, we quickly finds you a 26 year old flight, twenty-six euros. And if you don't have a specific date, it's not a problem. You can pick a date range or even any time. But when it comes to being flexible is not just about dates with kiwi flights. You can also be super flexible about where you want to fly too. If you, for example, want to take a holiday and you don't mind weighing one to go to. You can basically choose your stop location and just look at flight to anywhere. So you can select anywhere. You will see the cheapest flights. And so up until this point Q0 we flights are kind of similar to another side and it's outside, it's called Sky scanner. But Kiwi is much more flexible. So I would always recommend kiwi as opposed to sky scan. Although of course you can also have a look at Sky scanner. And let me show you how flexible key we is there. So flexible, you don't even have to choose a specific starting points. So for example, if you're in Budapest, you can add nearby airports like Bratislava and Yana tree starting point. And then you see those options too. And so you may even find a cheaper flight from those airports. And last but not least, it also lets you pick the shortest and the recommended option. And this is very important. So if we go back to our Budapest and London example, there are three sections here recommended, cheapest and shortest. Now, in certain cases, recommended is equal to cheapest, but it's important to know the shortest time too. Because maybe you're in a rush. What if we wanted to get there as soon as possible? And so for all those reasons, I can only recommend q0.com if you look in for a website to find the cheapest flights worldwide. Now if you want to find out more about budget travel, there's another great course on Udemy that's free and it's actually by a person who I've met and I will link this course below. There's some great travel hawks there. And like I said, it's totally free. So if you want to check it out, I will link this and a note of this very video so you can simply click on it and enroll in the course free of charge. And this is the end of the bonus section for my course. Thank you so much for watching. Once again, I've more courses available. You can check out my profile. If you have any further questions, you can contact me right here as well, or on social media. And I really appreciate your feedback on this course. Thank you so much for taking this course. And I wish you all the best and happy house sitting and happy travels.
