About This Class

This course is the result of applying my knowledge and experience into business building. You will find principles deriving from sales and marketing, design thinking, psychology, counselling and sociological concepts. 

I would like to call the integrated approach as 3H approach to business building (The Heart, the Head and the Hands). You will find practical examples step-by-step guide to business building.

If you are looking at starting a business but do not know how, this class is for you. Be sure to do the exercise recommended. There is no limit in what business you can start. The principles are applicable in starting all kinds of business.

You'll be learning principles from sales and marketing, design, thinking, counseling and sociological concepts. Starting a business is about you and how we interact with the world. There's no limit to what you can do. I do know one just to help you to start a business. But I also want to help you to make it sustainable. In this video, you will learn my three H approach to business beauty. The first Age ISS your hut. The second h is your hate. The Third Age is your head. If you follow my lessons consistently and complete the projects after 10 lessons, you should be able to have your business up and running. I believe almost everyone ever dreamed off not having to go to office or work for work, especially when you have fed up off your work and your office politics. You may be thinking, now it's time to start a business of your own. What is your idea of starting a business? Well, you could be home based business making your own products off selling your services. Keep the profits for yourself. Did you know some 300 years ago everybody works from home at their farms and do their own work? Only after the Industrial Revolution people started to have jobs, and the idea of working away from home came about. Today, about 300 years later, we have stock when I knew that we have to study hard and get a good job, and we are almost conditions. You think that will be a jobless or not able to secure job. We're done schools that teaching us how to find a job and keep a job. But there's no school teaching you how to start a business. You're right. I'm teaching you what school did not teach you. That is how to start a sustainable business from scratch. What is business anyway? Also, a dictionary defines it as commercial activities in naming term. It is a money making utilities, some modesty, mullah terms, trading, buying and selling, exchanging off things or skills for money. The ultimate idea off running a business is to make profit in whatever form it takes. Some observations. Business today are closely linked with inventions of our days. Scientific and technological discoveries opened up new form off businesses. I give you some examples. The invention off aeroplanes, doctor. The era off aviation, aircraft business, travel industry and many more. The invention of printing started this hero. Both industry, many businesses began. As a result, publishing, distribution, book stores, people making and even education in the street. Today, the invention off Internet or I will say, the introduction of Internet Tudor masses brings forth the Internet business e comers affiliate Business on light travel, booking show show media business like Facebook, Twitter, Lincoln, email, marketing and all. These are beginning to shape our business today and today we definitely have more choices than the people in a parcel even just that case ago. Even your innovative enough and data take the wrist sky is the limit. And you can surely run your own business in no time. And I'm here to help you start a business on your own. In the principles I'm here to share our applicable to all kinds of business by the call. Principles are from sales and marketing design, thinking, counseling, sociological concepts. See you in the next video. 3. Do you really want to start a business: Hi. Welcome again to the class off. How to start a business from scratch before we start. Let me bring you true. A set of questions to determine if you really want to start a business. This is a talk on motivation. It is critically crucial to get this right before you start. So let's spend some time to think through the questions and answer them honestly. First, why do you want to start a business? The second question is, what do you want to accomplish through your business? Number three. What motivates you to start, then carry on with your business? Building a business is like constructing a beauty. You need to be a strong foundation before you build the levels up. So you might have all kinds of answers to the questions. But this is what I want you to do. Keep the positives off Why you want to start a business? What do you want to do on what motivates you? And I want you to remove the negatives. Motivation is the foundation of business building. It is important to identify motivation before you start. So that's why I put this as a very first class that you've got to identifying. What are the strong move that costs you two to start and to carry on with the business and the effect of motivation, your businesses with a strong and right motivation, your business can go high and far reaching, and you're likely to accomplish what you set out to do. And lastly, motivation is the part of getting people to do what you want them to do because they want to do it. So now you're butin a business because you want to do it. This is the power of motivation. On it is the beauty off how you get started because you want to do it. Now you have checked that you really want to start a business and you know your underlying motivation. It is time to get started. See you in the next video. 4. Who are you?: I very welcome to the class on how to start a business from scratch. Now you're ready to get the business started. Very good. Great. In this video, I will apply this hot approach to business beauty. First of all, may I ask you a very blunt question? Who are you? I hope that your answer is not it. I don't know. I have not thought about it. And, uh and I have talked to many people, including young ones and the ones who seem to have problem knowing what they want in life. They're going around in circles with a direction on a busy reason is that they do know, have answer to this question. Who am I? Or they had to never attempted to answer this question at all. I trust that you do not want to be like one of them. So I sort of question, Who are you? You can see this. I'm a man. I'm a woman. I am. And that is your answer. Now, I want you to list down at least 10 answers about who you are. Leave some space below each answer or you use one piece of paper to put one answer on below each answer. I want you to us. And not a question why you say that and then be loaded. I want you to write down what excites you most about this identity. After you're done, I want you to reorder them in by already which identity is the most important to you and which is the foremost identity you want to tell people about who you are. Well, now I want you to look at the second portion of your answer. Are you done? OK, I want you to answer the second part in the third part of the question and I want you to know, down the common denominators across all the identities and Judas exercise. Seriously, amend very, very seriously in my mean that you have to run through your life on the day you were born to today in your life, story is uniquely yours. No one can do this for you If your honors enough true your life. Spend some time alone and you look at yourself from the mirror and ask this question. Who am I? And please don't fossil with this video without writing anything that is beneficial for you to do this. You will only appreciate us when you complete this exercise. And why is it so important to answer this question? Because business beauty is about you and how you interact with the world. And he hot approach helped you to find out who you are, from which you will find your agenda. Your dreams. So mission in life and many more. And I will cover Giresse in the following classes. Now I want you to take out a pen and a piece of a paper and write down the answers off this question. What do you have a thing about your possessions, your money, your family, your time, your experience, your talents, your skills, connections? You have to work knowledge, your school, your hometown, your Harry Tisch and even your weaknesses can turn into a business. And now you may ask your family and friends and co workers and hear what they have to say. You may be surprised what insights we have for you. Go ahead and write them down. Well, everything you have and your own can become the starting point off your business. That's why it is so important to write them down and to list them down as many as you can. Now I want you to write down. What do you think you do not have? And I want you to include those that you think it is important to your business beauty. And what are you going to do about that? Okay. Next, I want you to take out the elements from the list to write some action statement from the column off. What do you have in the column off? What you do you think you do not have. And what are you going to do about that? And you write statement like I have money, but I do not have a product, so I will design a product. Or, uh, there are many, many things you can write about just doing Tico one element from each list and you write this down. Okay, So I want you to write 10 to 20 Action Syngman space on these two questions or three questions. I hope you are having a good time and moment making these statements. Do you have a long list? Can I see it then? I don't want to sit it. You just need Teoh. Make 10 to 20 action statement space on the questions. And you may add on later as you go. How to start the business from scratch. I hope by now you have a meaningful discoveries off who you are, what you have and where you are. I have briefly touched on the heart to hit and the hens approach to business beauty. This class is about the integrated effect off the three H approach. Now, I would like you to answer yet another question. Where are you heading? Since we have determined that you really want to start a business? What? He sneaks how to go about starting a business that lasts. Open your foul of who you are, what you have and where you are. I want them. I want you to take a look at them and take out three elements on each area. I want you to put them together and form a picture. This picture should point you where you should be heading. You may now start writing a story about the next course off action you should be taking. Imagine if you were the character in your story. What are you getting your character to move? Where are you getting your character to? To do be imaginative to some research and write three different stories or three different directions. Get your character to take three different directions. And remember, when you're in a story, only write positive outcome. Do not add in any adversaries or any disasters or any negative things. Take out the action statement you wrote from the earlier video. Also expand the less and grow them into your life story. Continue to build on the positives. Remove the negatives. Spend some time duties seriously. After you're done, ask yourself which I will come. You would like to see most in your life and be serious to do this and meanwhile, have fun. In the next two videos, I will show you how a real life entrepreneur started their business building from scratch using the three H approach. 8. Entrepreneur Profile 1: Hi. Welcome to the class again until start your business from scratch. In this video, I will be applying the three extra poach again to end the lies and intra pron your journey . By doing this, I trust that you will also have a better idea off how to complete a class project to draft your own so that you can discover the entrepreneur in you on. The first story is about my father. He's someone that I admired, our Lord and the true Romano as an entrepreneur and less discovery together by asking the same sense off questions. First, who am I have ever to ask him? Who are you? I think most likely his answers will be. I am an entrepreneur. I am a leader. I am a father of four. So what do you have? He would answer. I have the skill and experience with machines so that I can start a business with machines . And when the machine broke down, I can repair And I also have a lorry from the last business. Where where where I deliver goods now I can sell my lorry to have some start up capital on my business. On also I have the connection in that tin manufacturing industry way I can get friends. I can't get business. All right. What do you think he like? I think my debt like education because he he's a refugee that came to Hong Kong and he was very young and he didn't have a lot of money. He also Dan, he needs to learn how to read and write so that you can sell the business properly. And also you need you know, how to manage his accounts on and anything to do with business on. How about where is he? The stage off life he was in before he started his business. And he just got widowed with four Children, young Children with him from 1913 years old and he could not carry on with his driving or delivery business because his wife died at the row accident. And lastly, where he is heading, what is his beating? He's his business setting up to do he needs. He needed a stable life business. To fit his Children, I guess, is a survival instinct that got him move forward and keep going. Hey aims at building a lasting business, and there he was successful, and the business kept his family going. He does not need to start another business again on that. He even but a property for his business on expended it in China when when the industry took a dip in Hong Kong. The business thrives in China, and the last another 20 over years. Well, it is a successful story. I hope you're inspired by this as much. Learn something out of it. But one thing to note that when you are working on your own project, remember this profiling is entirely your perspective off your role model. It doesn't matter if some of the information is not accurate, but it is more important than what you learn from finding the answers for the questions on this is for That's over. Entrepreneur profile 2: I welcome again to the class off how to start a business from scratch in this video, I'm going to share with you not example off my secondary school mates. How she started her business on this is a game based my own understanding. I have just had an interview with her then she started her business about 13 years ago. Let's go through the questions together with him. Who is she? The first thing she mentioned. ISS. She is a design architect. She is a team leader, a pretty good indication there. And what does she have on at that time? That she and do today is You still has a very supportive husband, and he is also her mentor and friend. She has enough money to get her business started. So make her live in Singapore, where this has been the choice off her business ing career and it and she's things that it is to her advantage because it is an Asian dominant society. At the same time, she was rather frustrated about the commercial project she handles and which often overlooking the work quality. And she, when she comes on their own on her motivation, is where she's heading is that but business direction is to produce quality design for architecture. Then that brings her great satisfaction and also in order to achieve the maximum that she aims to grow the company into a staff string of 25 and would finally get her to the point.
