About This Class

14850337

If  you have ever questioned the presence of your artistic or creative ability, my goal is to help you find it.  We live in an complex world, where success demands creative problem solving skills and the ability to look at common things with a fresh perspective.

This class is the second in a series where we will explore doing new things, expanding our creativity, and applying these tactics to problem solving in business and in life.

*See "Jewelry Making for Craft Challenged People":  link to class #1 in the series

If you are a beginner or experienced, have an analytical job or labor job, man or woman, 4 or 94 years-old, artist or “non-artist”, this course is for you.

This specific course will teach you how to paint your version of a famous masterpiece.  You will not need any special ability, no previous experience, no professional artist materials.  This class is for everyone.

You will quickly see that this class is not just about painting a masterpiece.

Making art is the means to a greater purpose.

In this lesson you will learn:

  • How we create and make art everyday
  • Evidence on the benefits of creativity
  • How being creative helps us be better problem solvers
  • What lessons famous artists can teach us about solving problems and strategy development

Even if you choose to place your the class project on your wall or the back of your closet door, you will still benefit from the process.

M Taylor

Make the complex, simple.

I enjoy learning, teaching, and challenging paradigms. With an analytical job by day, I make time to pursue creative endeavors at night. I believe that when we can simplify complex processes in creative ways, we constantly improve and help others to grow. Skillshare provides an opportunity to share some of the lessons that I have learned.
