Project Description

Create your own travel postcard-style artwork for your hometown or favorite city!

We all have that special place that is full of wonderful memories. Now you get a chance to follow along during this class and create an amazing piece of art to put on your own walls, give as a gift or even sell online!

Project Details:

  • Make your artwork 8”x10” so that it can be an art print, or sized down to postcard dimensions.
  • Create custom lettering or customize an existing typeface for the name of your city.
  • Fill each letter with a unique illustration representing landmarks or things from your memories of that place.
    • Note: You can illustrate this in whatever style you feel comfortable doing. If you would rather create vector illustrations, or draw/paint these by hand and bring them into your final Photoshop composition, that is perfectly fine.

Let’s get started!
