1. Class Overview: hider. Thank you for taking on this last. My name is Miss Tony. I'm a freelance graphic designer, and I posted weak lead signed classes here on skill share. So miss your toe, Follow me by clicking this button to receive designed tutorials. In this class, you're going to learn how to create geometric photo college and image masks in Adobe Fort Shop. If you are a fortune beginner and one toe, improve your skills. This is a perfect last for you In this class. I will show you how to great geometric photo college and intern acting geometric image, bus in simple steps. This is a good class. If you want to add something in your photographs I hope you're excited as I am. If you already see you in the next video. 2. Introduction: Hello and welcome again. And thank you that you are here on the second video of this class. It means that you are interested and you want to improve your designing skills. All right, so I'm gonna show you everything that I you are going to learn in this class. So for our first project, we're going toe design. E J. Man today, Photo college Like what? You can see right here on my document. And I'm gonna show you later how to do this and basically, um, But before that, I'm going to show you the second project that we're going to do. The second project is the, uh, interlocking geometric image masks all right, and that this is the project that we're going to do and let's go back to the project one for our first project and here didn't mean towards that. We are going to use basically, if the magic one and that is for that is for selecting some part of the image or any anything. You know, it's a selection tool that we are going to use, and also I used the adobe in a straight or for creating the basic shapes, and I'm gonna show you how you can do this. You're seeing the the available tools that we have, like the polygon tool, and then depend toe. So those are the two things totals that I used toe create this and, ah, for our project. And here on the fourth shopping gonna show you the layers that I have every ah, back on layer it here and then the group a, um, adjustment layer the curves. And then this is the very tour coming from the came from the adobe illustrator. All right, And then let's go. Big toe project toe. And this is the layers that I have have the, uh, biggie with the blurred background and then also another adjustment layer curves, and then we the layer mask. All right, Um he meant was that we're going to use here are the, uh, the magic one this well, for selecting some parts of the image and ah, the layer must It's available right here. And this. Ah, about a part of the layers panel. That's the layer mask. All right. And if you don't know how to use it, I'm gonna show you right here. I have an image on it Me that if the hopes so Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna at an image it here from the pizza, baby. I'm gonna drop it here. I'm gonna skate it up. All right? Now, if you don't know how to use a layer much, basically, it's like, you know, it's hiding and or its show be some part of the mission that are You want, for example, I'm gonna apply an image alarm us. All I have to do is I'm gonna click, But this I got an idea, and then you would see it's like this a and dangle and it selected because we know that there's a line on the gardeners. There are four corner lines that's it. Selected the right if they want to say they are image again. You have toe klik the thumbnail. Now it's selected. Now let's go back to select the layer must again like that. And then for your, uh, foreground and background, you would see that they our foreground, is block. The background is white. And, uh, if you see or brush tool to paint using a black color. And what will happen to that? I like I said, it's going toe hide some person of the image for, for example. I'm gonna brush over on this. Uh, I think it's peace. All right. It's Ah, pizza. So I'm gonna get my foreground color off white. I'm gonna brush over right here, and Ah, don't worry. I'm not I'm not raising it. I'm gonna be needing it. Just hiding it, you know? All right, so that's basically the the layer mask, And you would see your idea. This a brush right there. All right, if I, uh, swap the corner off black and white, make the foreground, right? If I brush over and you see what not been, it brings back the some portion of the image data we hide, right? So that's medically the layer must Alright. Ah, it's better than you know. Using the if you're painting is better than using the eraser tool. Of course, the different preferences for every artist. But that that's basically how you hide and show some part of the image. All right. And also, you can usually Gregan tools for that. That's a different topic right there again. If you want to hide some portion, you see the black color. Make sure you select the layer mask and then, you know, paint over. Okay. And you can use that using the selection as well. It's a, uh, electrical market. Will, I'm gonna draw a say circle right here, and then I can apply that the foreground caller by pressing the hulk and backspace right there. All right. And then I can move it the selection by making sure that the my elliptical tool, it's on inside of the selection and then put it somewhere, Maybe I mean it right here and then out pressing my out and then backspace and then to remove that selection de select by control D. And then that's it. Case, That's ah, there must. And, uh, that's basically what we're going to do for our second project. All right, So the soul for this first video are the introduction video, and that's kind off effect or ah, you know, photo FX. It's ah, good for you know, we have designed other things that the union Ah, nice presentation off image and indefinitely. I love using this kind of technique or FX. All right, so the soul for this video and let's start our first project, the geometric Photo College 3. Project 1: Hello and welcome back in this video, we're going toe design our first project for this class. And ah, for this video, we're going toe going toe designed a geometric photo college in the in other barefoot shop with the help off Adobe Illustrator. All right. First, I'm gonna show you the image that I'm going to use this one from ah, picks up. But you can get up any image that you want with a nice scenery, something like this. And then I'll be using a adobe in a straighter If you don't have the adobe straight Or don't worry on our second project, we're going toe design Another geometric I style photo in Adobe Fort Shop Pony. All right, so let's start with the documentary photo College. Okay? So open up your, ah, adobe illustrator, and then we start from here. Okay, so basically the project that I created something like this and this is the shapes and created the shapes using the basic tools, basic shapes here in the and the administrator with the help of the mental. All right, if you don't know how to use the paint, Ally, don't worry. We're going toe do a very straight line. Only I'm not gonna do any shapes or, you know, complicated shapes. And, um yeah, so let's start with the basic ship spurs. And then we're gonna transfer that into the 40 shop and then start our photo collage straight here. Okay, so let's make a new document Very going toe file. You You can start with the 1000 pixels by 1000 diesels and then just great. All right, that you can start from here. I'm gonna do it right here on my, uh um document. Just great. Another out bird. So I can see my reference, but are you can start creating a ruler by going toe a window. Ah, view. And then ruler rulers show rulers or a press control are right. And then you can drop your guides right here. It's like that. And then another one on the vertical. If it's not centered, all you have to do, Yes. Do a ah rubber band, if accurate here, select these two guides and then you can see right here on our options. We can send their everything all right, helps Should be so. This one like this one on the horizontal guide and then click on a vertical alliance ender . Okay, so our goods are now a centered on our canvas. So I was I will create a art, but right here, making by clicking this art bottle. And then I click on new Yardbird. And when I click on that, I mean automatically create a the same size of the art bird, right? And I have to do is just opposition close to my first art bird, and then click it will create another odd bird and then the selection tool to go back to normal view. All right, now I'm gonna drop a vertical guide. So I'm gonna recon this ruler and then put it right here. Maybe it's not center, so I'm gonna make sure I ah, you would see your ruler with a blue collar if it's selected. Right, it's elected now, so I'm gonna click on the horizontal line center, and they're now it's entered. It went to lock your guides so you can goto view guides, long guides or press control. Same colon. Now we can't just like the guides anymore. All right, now, let's start creating our ships. So first, get your by going to one and then just click. You can use any size or off your ah ship something Ignace Hold your out and then shifty to make the making decoration of the shape from the center. But, I mean, I already have my size, so I'm gonna just click on the converse If you want to follow, follow along with me. You can just copied eczema reduce. So I'm gonna click once on my art bird. It would see a pop up menu right here. And then I will enter 350 Excels with the sides off six. Right? And then click on. OK, my data. Now I'm gonna center this by using my options right here. So horizontal line center and then the vertical alliance ender by They're now mia first polygon is centered, right? And ah, that's great. Another one. Make sure this ah wrote they rotated on your shift Key may data. So we have the same day and let's let's get another Let's get our polygon tool. Create another one click once in the canvas. This time this a smaller one I will enter 175 again with the fix sides only we're going okay minuto add a, uh, a stroke. Uh, or there are stroke points. So let's make it at least two points. The smaller one, the same thing. Click on disease stroke. And then they dropped down Arrow, select the two points right there. Now let's center this polygon because the horizontal Alexander and then vertical alliance center in there, then rotate, then rotated on your shift key when doing it. All right. Now what? We're going to do it. So we're going to add, like a triangles on our our shapes. OK, so let's use our Mendel. So don't worry if you don't know how to have to use it. But it's very simple, you know, you can follow along with me and I make sure you enable the, uh, smart guides or press control you. Now you can see this like a, um, agenda bowler on my many position. My paint. All right, so it will help me to ah, toe make my point. Ah, exactly on the where I went. Oh, so again, let's get our mental. Let's start with this one. You can see there's an ankle. It says Angkor, So I'm on the right point right there first point. Second plane, third point. And then let's close the path. This one. All right. Now, let's move on with the, uh, does something like this. So start from here on the center intersect. You know, it's you hating the center when you see the Intersect, all right? It says intersect. And never. And that idea, Now we can close it. But on my represents, I don't have it. Just, you know, my personal reference. They put my personal reference. All right, so it's up to you if you want to close it. But if you don't want to, all you have to do it. Yes, all your control key. And then you would see your course or back toe Direct selection tool you have to do is just click on the gun bus pressure control, and then click on the gunwales. All right. No, seriously, it's Ah. All right. This Ah, Two points right there. Now let's start again with the at sea. It's no something like this one. Get your pen tool stuck. Time here, here and here. I don't have to close it because we already have a one line right there. So pressure control, key and then click on the funding are burned. And then let's see another one s create a triangle line right here. So using our mental again one point Lightyear here, here and then this close in the bath and data. All right. I think we are done with the our template for our geometric shape on DA. Make sure that you make your eye stroke. Um, let's see. Stroke panel. Open that and make sure you select the ah, we have enjoined. So it's select at sea off anything. We're not making the center right here, is he? So it's a terrible guideline from Adobe Illustrator. So what we can do is basically said, like, our like, that excellent Jindal, click on this line and then click on this point and position it right better. Okay. And then we can see other lines in there on the proper, uh, intersect seems OK and that we don't We don't want that kind of ah, sharp corner point. It's against he You can select this point this line and then let's see. You can go to stroke and then click on Ah, maybe I'll join. I think this one This one right there Okay, so find those corners. Video. Very sharp corner that's outside of the lane. And then, ah, click on stroke panel and then select the bevel going. All right. I think we are actually. Then with the template. All right. Seems OK. Now all we have to do is send it into Adobe Fortune upsetting Amis. One more line right here on the sender. So again, click on the upper anchor point and then hold your shift key to constrain the perfect street lane. And then Klay I never and then control pressure control key. And then click on the canvas to stop the mental right there. Let's hide the guides Bay pressing control semicolon so we can see our template. All right, so I think it's fine with me. So let's open our adobe fort shop off in an image idea. This is my image. My data. And then all I have to do is just a sec, everything on this heartburn and then drug to my adobe fort shop. All right, now our lines is actually ah, are unlock So we can change it toe white so we can see it properly, but offers you can ah distort the image, these lines, or you can make a proportion nine proportional line by holding your shift key. But I prefer distorting in a little bit, maybe something like this. I'm not holding any key right now. My shift key. I'm not holding that. So I can Ah, I'm Frito. You know, to make may shape. I'm, uh, the way I wanted me something. I'm doing this and then I'm gonna put it right here on the center. Click on this. Jake might. Now, let's go to image. Let's invert. Yes, you goto image adjustments and then invert, And they're now we turn our lines to white block lengths to it. All right. Okay. So that's the, uh, the first part of the, uh, photo collage will ready created the template. Now it's timeto add some copy paste some images for our template pattern. Right. So first we're going toe, duplicate this background layer, make sure you make you turn it into layer. Click on this lock icon and data, and then press control J. But if for the first layer layer zero, I'm gonna rename it BG I hope v g for Barone. And then for the this one they're zero copy. Double click on that. Rename it, rename it image images. All right. No. Uh, next thing, I'm gonna hide the VG, and then I'm gonna get my magic one goal. Make sure you inject the sample or layers, because if you don't uncheck that this, what will happen? Right. So in case you forgot it, um, the cynic, the victor, smart object. And then if you use the smart object, this what will happen, you know, it's selecting instead of the whole shape. It's, ah, selecting the some point of the image, right? And we don't want that Control the toe dissident, that. So make sure you and take the example of layers. And if you and check that list what will happen, it will select the triangle. I tear the shape right, and that's what we want. And, uh, now, once us select the ah, nice selection of the shape. Um, still using my much wand. I'm gonna drag this, make sure you you put your coarser inside of that selection. All right? And you would see that my selection changing toe, like at the next election, you can move this election. Okay, so I will select some part of the image. Maybe somewhere. Maybe right here. All right, I'm gonna copy and paste that. All right, So So, taking the images, and then I'm gonna noto edit copy and it and based. All right, it will create another layer. The selection that we copy and based Now use our move tool. We can just put it right here and make sure your ah, snap or a smart object is enable you can goto view. Ah, he snapped is enable right here. Or press shift control Thin colon. Now, you use even resume in the night here. It's not basically on the right place, right? We need to use our keyboard. Kiss left and right. Happened down toe. Put it exactly on that, please. All right, all right. And then, um, it's do it another one again. And so, like our magic Wendell, maybe I'm gonna take this area idea setting the mes noto edit a copy hopes. Let me. Ah, dissident. Let me district that Let me do it again. Magic one Don't like this and then find a, uh, some part of the image. Let's say in this area, select our images. So meaning toe. Ah, select a layer where our images are our image. Eyes where we are going toe happy the, uh, using these selection. Okay, so go to edit a copy I need based. Then use your removed all toe. Put it properly right here. Okay. Now, basically, this one is kind. Ah, did use work. You will spend a lot of time if you do that. Especially if you have a very complicated, complicated pattern or geometric shapes. So now let's do one more time. So But before that, before we do the copy and paste step in so that in the action in the foot ship the right there's an action right here that's available and that is going to save you a lot of time. This actions that available right here, I already have one. And I deleted that so I can show you how you can create your own actions. But first, um, let's do it one more time. Right here. So, like the victory Smart object. Get your, uh, much one. I'm gonna select this area right here. Click once. Right here. Select the images slayer. And then I say, disposition, it Maybe this Find the nice portion of the me. Me, Me somewhere, right? I mean, you're right here, right? And then before I run before I goto editing copy face, what I'm going to do is I'm gonna create a an action first. So up in your window, actions, and then you really see right here. All right. Okay. Now what I'm going to do is I'm gonna create a new action click on this icon right here, and then we can put a name on it. It's a copy. And paste said the default actions and then for the function keys So we can do the shore. Jackie, I'm gonna take the F toe and then with the control. So may, uh, short that he is control f toe. All right, and then we can put a collar on it. Let's say, ah, red. All right. And then when I click on record, the next steps or the next action that I'm going to do will be recorded, right? So take note of that, So I'm gonna click unlike or now, and here. Now it's regarding right. I can stop it. But you're praising this is stop. Ah, I go on. So everything that I'm going to do will be recorded. Okay, So since I already placed my selection right here, the next thing that I'm going to do is go to edit a copy. I need based right now. It's regarded right now. I can stop it. All right, I'm gonna click on this. Stop there now with the control f toe the process. It will save me the a couple of seconds by doing the copy and paste. You know, instead of going to edit cap in place, it will save me a couple of seconds. All right, so now let's position the degree that the selection that we made, but it right here, all right, now it's ah, it's do it. The actions that we created, a cynic. The victor. Smart layer. So, like the, uh, magic one daughter, I'm gonna just like this one right here. And then, like the immediate slayer, I'm gonna select this area. May be right. Maybe right here, Okay. And then I can select the name and then click on play, and it will happen. All right? Or I can select the control f toe, so I'm gonna press the control left to and the data. I mean, just capping and based. They said the the this layer, like in position it, But it right here. And that's basically how you do a in action and that it will save you a couple of seconds, right? Some, you know, position it nicely right there. Okay, so now I know may. Ah, actually, it's control have toe on. They have to do when I'm then selecting the selection. I'm gonna run the action off control left toe, toe, you know, happy and pace. All right, so that's what I'm going I'm going to do. But before that, I'm gonna show you one more time. Um, I select the magic one doing. I'm gonna select this area right here, Frank. The immigrants layer. And then I'm gonna position maybe somewhere here, okay? And then I'm gonna run my action control left to Yes. Like that. It's against the There's another layer. I did slayer five. And then get the A move toward put it right here. So that's ah, very easy. You're seeing the action. So I'm gonna, uh, finish up this ah example. And then I'm gonna fast forward a little bit so you can see the outcome off what I did. All right. It's gonna be a time lapse time lapse video. Okay? All right. Now you can see that I have so many layers. So I'll have to do is I'm gonna group them for agonists. Saved some space on my layers panel. Right. So the layer 13 is selected. I'm gonna hold my shift key, and then click on layer one and then breast control G. All right, now I'm gonna do it again. I'm gonna six. Um um, some parts of the image, all right? And I'm done. So I'm gonna for, like, this layers and then put it on this group. So the same time space right there. All right, cool. And now what I'm going to do is I'm gonna enable this background and then hide this in Vegas Layer. It's like this layer background there, or BG, and then I'm gonna blurred this. Like what I have right here. Okay, so I'm gonna goto Ah, filter Brera Gallery field there. All right. And then I'm gonna feel like the that we can see so much and say about 13. Seems fine with me every 14. All right. 14 pixels on the field blur. I'm gonna click on. OK, all right. And then what? I'm going to do it. So I'm gonna add some drama. You know, some, uh uh, photo, uh, light right here on these selection. So I'm gonna select this group one there. This will be the images. Yes, it's rename it in Venice. And then this Click on the adjustment layer, my dear, for, like, the curves. Make sure you civic this icon right here, and it will clip and the the any changes that that you do on this, our curves property spaniels will only apply on this image is all right. Not on the background. So make sure you click on this icon. I data and then select the ah, say green. And then I read. I mean, and then we can you know, you can see McCain. Yes, but I'm not gonna put so much in it, all right? And then they see the green one. You know, it's up to you. How much you want toe put right here. And then finally the blue one. I see. Right now we can We can talk about this on enough so we can see the change is this person like the RGB and then toggle this I go on, my dear, I would say the you would see the before and then after you apply D curves on this image. All right, that seems interesting. Now compare before very, you know, flat Wagner. I said interesting, but this one seems okay with me. Or we can aghast the read and then make it more get more. All right. Okay, so I guess that's on. And we have a nice documentary photo college in Adobe, Fourth shop, and three nights actually can add more. Let's say, uh what is a me? Yes, here, we can go toe. You can double click that so we can see the their Stein window. And then we can and they basically what I did on the example, I added a, uh, inner glow. And then you can Ah, it's not showing, Henry. That's a slight genius. Not so much, but ah, right there. Now we can see it right on the elements on the sites. Right here. Still much. Don't want that seven pixels explaining me. Pass it in. It's so much it's select the Glenmont toe screen again. Nice. Ah, if illegal. And then we can also add a drop shadow. You can see right here. I'm gonna put too much so you can see the drop shadow. All right, that's the shadow. And then the size on the sea. Hi. It's ah, distance off fight. Big Selves spread off 18% and then size off at least 20 to 25. Seems fine. Okay? And then you would see some spacing. Vendetta? Now you can tweet that, because the snap option it's not doing, ah, its job properly. So what we have to do is make sure you use the move tool and then and check this auto auto Select and check that, because only want to do is, um press your control key and then select this image and you select the right layer of this . All right, so this it now begin. That's like that. And then you see our keyboard arrows toe. Place it properly. So again. But I still control key. And then click and then use your cable Dato. All right, One more thing right here. I don't want to have that too much space, so you need to adjust the image I'm using. Only my keyboards are living right on yogis. So again, make sure you and take the auto. Solich, you don't want to, you know, like the one that are You clicked. So But I saw the control key. And then click. Or I think that's a common for the Mac users. And I think we are done in our documentary photo College Image College here in Adobe 40 up . So I learned something, and, uh, in the next video, we're going to do another one. Another project, the interlocking geometric image Mosques in other foot ship. So that's all. And if you have any questions, don't worry. Um, you're supposed it, and I'm gonna answer it. We didn't 24 hours. All right, so the salt for this video and see you in the another one 4. Project 2: Hello and welcome back meanings. Just Tony. And for our next project, for our second project, we're going toe design. Or we are going to create an interlocking romantic image Masks like right here. As you can see as an example, how in my foot ship and basically I was inspired Made these from when you create a new layer. No document. I mean, menu, click on photo or he would see right here. There's an ah ah free template that you can download if you are subscribed to, uh I think even if you're not subscribe. If you have only free account on Adobe, you can don't know this. And, uh, when you click on preview, it would see there's only six Ah, free templates, right Right there. All right, so what if if you want toe, do something more, But if you want toe, create the more complicated let's say you want Toe Seymour different science. So I'm gonna show you how you can create your own interlocking geometric image masks here in adobe foot ship. So let's say you don't have the, uh, you know, in a straight or program, you only have the fourth ship, so Let's see. I'm gonna show you how you can create this. It's actually very simple. And, uh, it doesn't take too much time. And I let me close this make here and ah, the mask. It's actually it covers or ah, it hides. I mean, the some portion of the image or it shows some of the portion of the image. And let me show you the my layers and you can see your idea. I have to image one for the background and one for the effects off or for the mask right here. And then there's another layer right here where I put all my shapes in the group. And then there's a young curves just for ah, you know, add some drama one hour photo and there. Okay, so I'm gonna show you how you can create this image mask. You're here in Adobe Foot ship, so let's do it first list. Great. The new document goto file really going new, and then my document would be you can follow along with me. Um, by the way, if you want to follow along with me, I'm gonna use a and, uh, by the way, I'm gonna use a free photo from picks. Obey. Right here. Um, I'm gonna post a link in the description of this class. All right, So you can follow along with me. Okay, so let's go back. Toe, foot, ship. And the doctor meant sites would be 1700 pixels by you. 1100 pixels in height, right. Make sure it's, um, portrait in portrait in orientation. 72 pixels are Jimmy. Okay. And then I just white right here. Click on great, even have this document. And I realized that we'll be using a white stroke, so make sure that I can call her this background. I'm going to select this color dark blue right here. Navy blue, and then toe. Apply these foreground. Color our layer. Just press your out and then delete or out backspace toe. Apply that a foreground color. So that layer, right, that will be the first for a step. And then, um, let's go to view. And that's ah enable the snap. And then the rulers or press control are and then Schiff control same colon to enable the snap. So, in this great a ruler or guides for our document just click this and and drug. And it was not in the center. You see, it's automatically snaps. And then for the vertical. Yes, ago story in the center. It was not all right. And of course you want Oh, um, like this layer so you won't accidentally, you know, move it. So go to view lamb brains or Presque Isle Control Semi colon. Right. And now let's ah, lately, uh, our interlocking geometric shapes. Like what we have year, we can create something like this or weaken Great. Ah, something different. But, uh, let's do something like this, you know? So we have a, you know, a reference. Okay, so we start with the biggest shape this year, girl. So make sure you get your ellipse stole, click once on the canvas, and then you can enter the, uh, the value right here. You can follow along with me 900 boxes in with and then another 900 pixels in height so you can click on from center. There is not saying that it's not a saint or a monopoly on the canvas. Okay, but since we already enable the snap a theater, I really like snap. He Cillian Sander CNC There's a ah, um, magenta color right there. Now it's centered. Let's get this yet. The lips stole again. One more time. This clip maybe right here. Just left Lee, right? Don't don't have toe. Um, it's not a rightly. There's a left leg once, and then a centre 300 exists in with and another 300 in night bacon. Okay, Now its center. All right. Next weekend. Uh, let's open our layers so you can see what's happening on our responding. If you don't have it open, you can goto window and the players are best f seven. All right, Now we can duplicate it. Like what we have right here. No, What I'm going to do is I'm gonna hold my ult key on my keyboard out and then drug, and it snaps properly because we have that kind of guide, right? Data, Then one more time going around and then all your shift key and then drug. Hey, Dad. Okay. I mean, don't get this and cure you. Select this one. So this one Call your shift, Lee shift fucky. When you are, click on this another ellipse and then hold your out. It would see their say changes on my move tool. Right there. There's a white move tool. Another move tool. I gone. All right. So that's what happened. When you press your alky, it means site will duplicate on your out drug down and then hold your shift key so it won't move. Um, you know, crazy. Because if you hold, if you told your shift key, you know this woman this this is what when they happen. So you have tow press your shift. Yes. Well, all right. And just like that, And then one more time, so you can see right here this another Syria kill also. Najera. On the right side. I'm gonna have to, like, say, this one. Yes. Hold your alky and then drug. Okay. And then one more time to the left side. Let me repeat that again. All right? Now we're only meeting in. Ah, trying us. Okay, now we can add another a guide right here. Night. This on the bottom off. Two circles? Yes. Like that. Another one on the that Right here. And then what we're going to do is basically we're going to use a mental And don't worry, pantries quite easy. Especially if you're doing only a straight line. Right. So get your pencil. You start from here. This corner Just click, right, Blake, Another one. Another point right here on that. Another point right here. And let me get it right. And then make sure you always close that path. And that you would say, there's a small circle on my pen tool when I over my mouse on top of this first plane, Waneta. Now it's a It's a sheep. Okay? And then we'll do it one more time. Right here, here and also it here. And close the bath. Waneta. Okay, so we're done with our, uh, basically with our interlocking geometric shapes. Right. So what, we're going to do it so very going toe group it. So click on the stop. And then the, uh, first shape all your shift key to select everything and then control G to group them. All right. Uh, it's a sour shape. Now we can turn off the guides by pressing the control and then some golden. Now they How we can I start, uh, putting our image on the, uh, on our document. First, let's grade a new layer. Hey, Data, we can right click convert to a smart object. Okay, And then it's double click on this icon There I go on Smart object Thumbnail the breaking on that. Now we can ah put our image right here. So basically, I don't know this. I don't know that this may Clicking is free down, All right. And then I'm gonna and then I'm gonna don't know. I'm gonna copy right here. This image. I'm gonna drug the photo shop and release the mouse and I data. So I'm gonna get it up again and just your image properly. And then and then click on this check. Mark Close, Nisa. Dumb big. Yes, And may spell your right here. Now we can You can see the ah, the shapes that we created. We can we should should move the ah, this image layer below on the group player. All right, so we can see and see that. Now we need to do to get this Nitto Press Control J Do begin that. So it's Ah, rename This one would be the biggie or background. The other one is the, uh, the FX. All right, now let's start with the effects. Um, select the the B jeepers the background during the background layer, we can go toe feeder, be regularly on gallery and then filled blur. And then we can see how much we went to blur apps. Let me cancel that. Let's hide the next layer at the affects image layer goto filter again. Larry Gallery feeling there, and then I'd better on the blur to its panel begin and see how much we can add in the effects on our image. Not so much. Maybe at least, um, let's say 12. So it seems fine for me. So I'm gonna click on this. Okay. There. All right. And then that's Ah, click the eye right here so we can see the effects image. Now, what we are going to do, it's Ah, Let's, um It's a high disperse. Then we're going to use our magic one tool. All right, we're going toe. Select the spaces right here to show on the, uh, the image. All right, so let's start with this area right here. Then. If you want to add more selection, you have tow press your shift key. So just if you don't this what will happen, right? Um, it's like you're selecting one part of the selection only. So make sure you said you place your a shifty and then click and then right there, click. Right here. Here, Here, Um, maybe. And see this one. Also this one in this one. And so this one. All right, but that was me. This area, my data OK, now began turned on me. The yes, that we have. No. Make sure you select the effects layer and then bleak on these musk. Okay? Going on that at their mask. All right, so basically, what happens is that everything that we didn't select using the much Wandell it will hide right if I turn off the layer mask by placing my shift key. And there So this is this is the start. And then when we applied the layer must and then the selection right there, um, it will hide everything all right? If you can see in the dark mass Kinda right. And then I can add more. I can select more. I can say Turn off the back on layer and then using my magic massage, the Magic one does not magic mask magic one tool. I can select this area again. My data. And then maybe somewhere right here. Hopes Forgot. Told my shift key. Also, Maybe right here. And then make sure you select the layer mask and then the If you're a four grams block, what will happen is that it will hide destination, but that we need to show the image from the back. So what I'm going to do is I'm gonna press May May Ah, control key and then backspace right there. All right, so remember, the black will hide, and then the white will show. All right, so it's very simple. You know, the simple rule on that you can remember and then controlled the toe, disconnect the selection, Then we can turn on again the background. All right, so this Ah, very simple image mask. Okay. And then we can add more effects on this image to say we can go toe, uh, the adjustment. You can click on nerves, and then they say, Let's adjust the red. That's only applied this, um, adjustment of that the layer below. So make sure you click on this one. All right? It's a green. A CD green one. I can adjust still much. All right, And then subdue how you and Gaffney corner of the image. That's too much. All right. Okay. All right. So this is basically the interlocking geometric image masks. You know, you converse about this, this one again, the steps that we created that we start from the canvas in the 1111 1700 pixels by 1100 pixels. And then we start with the with the shape right here, and then we add the we created a new layer and then add and then converted into, um, smart object. And then, on our smart object, we put our image. And of course, this image is Ah, we can replace this in any image that we weren't gonna use this image. I mean, just this image is quite small, but let's see. And then you close this and that. I did. Is he getting, ah, put animation that are you want, and it's ah, highlighting on the areas that you use that you just you just me the much Wendell. It's not blurred out in the background right here. All right, so that's basically the, uh, this project. And I hope you learned something. So that's all. And see you next time
