About This Class

As a manager, you are judged not on the quality of your work, but on the quality of your team and how well they work. In order to thrive as a manager, you need to learn how to motivate and engage your employees into clear action. Even after they are working, then the more difficult question is: are they working effectively on things that matter most. 

This course will teach you five critical coaching questions you can ask to help raise the level of engagement, work productively, and focus on the things that matter most to the company and the customers. 

This course is designed for new and intermediate managers, who are leading teams of technical employees (engineers, scientists, technicians, etc.). It introduces the basics of the "coaching" style of leadership, which has been shown to create a significant improvement in employee engagement, culture and performance.
