1. Welcome!: Hey there. My name is Patricia Color, and I'm a graphic designer and artist at Dawn Corgi. I create digital illustrations and graphics for different clients, ranging anything from characters and animals to designing logos and user interfaces. For my class, I'll be teaching you how to show the majestic and loving companions dogs. We were going over different dog breeds with step by step process so you can tag along at your own pace and follow the video lessons. I'll also be giving you tips on during the body shapes and general advice to keep on drawing a new creature character, which is the random object you want to try. At the end of the class, you'll be able to draw different types of dogs and move on to other breeds with the knowledge together for disc less. I'll be using a tablet and longest studio, but you can either do it digitally. Are you spend in paper. You can keep this to yourself or even put them on the birthday card or a Christmas card so that just get into it and I hope to see you, sir. 2. Course Overview and Self Intro: Hello and welcome. I'm really glad to have you here. So, like I said before, my name is with physical data and I'll be guiding you through out the scores I've been trying for quite some time now. And just like drawing, I really like those. I think they are amazing companions, and they just right in a poor day. I also think they are very fun to draw, and you can do this with very simple shapes. So before we get into this, let's just see what will be going through. This car's will be divided in different sections. Where in each are they going through hell to draw specific talk? For example, in a Derby car, he section will be going through three different lectures each lecture. I will be teaching you how to draw specific position. I'm standing sitting does sleeping. This will happen for the other dog sections as well. I will also be providing you with reference material such as guidelines and the basic shapes for rich dog to make your life easier. By the end of two scores, you'll be able to draw any kind of dog you want by learning how to create basic shapes and build up from there. So let's get into it 3. Use The Right Resources!: Hello and welcome back. Before starting our drawings, I want to go over some places where you can go and get references to help draw. Remember that references are always important when you're learning to draw anything. Be it animals, buildings, are people. Be sure to find some images to help you act. All right, that are a lot of places where you can find some good reference images by forbids being pinterest.com and splashed.com, pixabay.com, and finally, pixels com. Simply right on the search tab what you're looking for, and you'll find what you need. If you're looking for a specific breed or species, you can always take pictures of your own plants or ask your friends if they own any bet. Taking your own photos means you will have the exact reference that you need and don't need to spend as much time in searching. Now, the challenge here might be to convince Europe to stand still. But you can do this either way. Finding references online or taking your own photo is always helpful. I also have a Pinterest board full of animal photos that you can check for inspiration and references. I'll leave the link so you can go there and give it a look. Alright, this is it for now. Let's go for the next video where we will talk a little bit about proportions. So I'll see you there. 4. Playing With Proportions: Hello again. Now in this video, I just want to talk a little bit about proportions and how you can play with them to create more interesting drawings of dogs. When drawing something new, I like to break everything down into simpler shapes. This can work both if you're drawing something more cartoony or more realistically, breaking an objects or subjects into simple steps, It's always very helpful. Now in the next videos we'll be drawing some dogs and play a bit with their proportions. And doing this will help a lot into creating more interesting animal characters. For example, let's look at the Dalmatian. They already have quite some interesting shapes. But why not go a little bit further with them? It saturate them like here in 101 domain. As you can see, the waste here is very exaggerated. A dog usually doesn't have such a thin waist, but this is as ration and disproportion makes a dog even more interesting. Let's see another example. This book. Folks already have some width proportions, but again, we can go a bit further with them like so. Peking certain features from a dog and exaggerating them will give your drawing some more personality. So do have fun with it. In the next videos, will the drawing three specific breeds, but the principle is always the same. Find the shapes, draw them, and exaggerate its proportions. Alright, so without further ado, let's start drawing our dogs. I will see you in the next video. 5. Section 01: Corgi Standing: Yes, I know. All right, so let's get started with our corgi standing. First, we'll go to the side view off the corgi, Start with the kind of around it where tangle shape for the main body like this and add a little books for dinner. Now just make 1/2 circle for the tail. Booking out and meal stops for the feet for the head created, square shaped box and add around the triangle to create the snow. Now we just need to draw the years. They usually have rounded tips, so don't throw them too sharp. We cannot see the base layout for the corgi. Well done. Okay, so now let's do a rough sketch on top. Use a darker shade for this. Let's start adding some minor details with small lines for the four year areas for the belly, it goes a beat up like this between the chest and the back side of the court. Keep going and you cannot. The little nose and a quick I that we can turn up later also lets other color nicely done. We can now move on to the clean lines, so grab a black van or use a Turkey caller and let's get into it. For me. The best part in drawing is making the lineup. So let's get started. Get the lines long and loose all around with the smooth ears. Like so off course, you can customize your version with different eyes or hear shapes, or even how long he is. For now, I recommend you to follow along an experiment later. No, forget to do some quick strokes for the furry parts, like the chefs and near the legs. It gives a nice detail to our corgi. Love the job. Now we just need to call him. Normally, I just shows this cream color for the base caller. If you're working digitally, you can just scrap the paint markets and put it on the body so you can feel out the details with your brush. After now, let's use that orange stone. They usually have the patterns change form corgi to cargie, so feel free to try different shapes. It looks more lively once we start printing, doesn't it? Just at some quick callers to the color and the name stuck? Nice job. So let's go now for the front. You once again start with in mind shapes. First, we draw mostly rounded X. A gun shaped like this in another part of X agan, smaller in the back and no, the hit, almost like a Newport, a Pentagon shaped. But get the line smooth all around off course. Don't forget the years with a rounded ends, and there we go. We can see already more or less the general shape here. So let's go for a rough sketch. Start to the head at some details, like the nose years and the googly eyes. Now go through the chest area with smaller lines in the bottom for the furry part. Little toes for the front paws and keep going with the back part Lovely. We cannot start with the Leinart start with their heads, keep the lines very loose and to long lines once at the time, don't be afraid to repeat lines. It's quite normal to not get the lines right at first, right, So just to race and try again to some short creek lines below the chest area to make the free ends and draw a quick circle like shapes for the very small pose. Run this back part with the tiny 1/2 circle for the tail and we're done. Oh, I almost forgot the caller with the name time. So let's just add that to you. I'm still not quite happy with how the chest area looks, so let me just change it very quickly. All right, so that looks nice. Let's give him some color now, as the same callers reuse before with the same body pattern that we've had before. And don't forget to pentti size, color and name tag creature. Here we have our front quality. I'm just going to rece ice him so it looks more like the same size as a previous one. All right, so this is a bit over more easier stance. It's the back position, as if he's looking away from us. Start with the excellent shape for the main body as before, but this time we have last details. So at another semi excellent for the front off the body, a circle for the tail and then diverted Pentagon for the head since its hidden away from our view, which is dropped part of it. And of course, that's at the years. All right, so now we can start rough sketching everything. Cork is usually have a fuzzy, but so those small lines around the part for the for it doesn't have a lot off details from this point of view. So just short through the previous lines. Lovely. Now let's do the lineup. Let's start with the heads and the long years like this. Very simple with long strokes, then the body. We'd mostly loose long lines on the top parts and short strokes on the lower end for the first for. And don't forget the color at the neck. Nice. Now we just need to call right. Pick the same colors as before, although well, mostly see orange from this point of view. Feel everything and and printed details. Don't forget to Penta color. Lovely job there we have our standing Corey. Next, we'll be going through our corgi sitting 6. Section 01: Corgi Sitting: Yes, I know. Hello and welcome. We're now going to start with your carcass sitting. Once again, we're starting with a side view and with the mind shapes first. So started the kind of a bean shaped like this, and we cannot a little foot there. Make a circle here so we know where our back leg is going to be and the signing help circle for the tail. Then make a box shape for the head with the snout booking out. And, of course, let's not forget our years, which rounded ends. Lovely job. Now let's start with sketching some details. Keep it pretty loose. And don't worry too much about quality for now, at small strokes for the furry parts. And we cannot some details, like the legs and little posts as a quick knows and I for positioning. And don't forget to add the color and name that All right, nice. Let's do our final lines now. Do long and confident lines to Onley short lines. If you want to show some for in the bottom parts, I think it gives the overall drawing and nice touch. Keep everything pretty simple with clean long lines. Try to do details on as few lines as possible. I always like to accession, right? Two years. Make them very long and round, but you can change them to the size and wrongness you want. Finally, at the Coler and name tag. And there we go. Now let's give him some color. We can do the same colors as a previous food. You or you can just experiment different colors. Give it a go. I'm going to try and give him a dark. For this time. Let's see how that looks. All right. That looks cute. I just spent the color and name tag and we're done. Nice, great job. Let's start with the front view. Now start with the excellent shape and the mother behind you, and now you can do the head by making a new voted Pentagon shape. Let's still do the bid so it looks more dynamic at two years of both and the legs below. And you? That looks nice. All right, so now we can go for a rough sketch. That's Key Veum. A quick expression like if there's something confusing his looking at, add the little toes for the front and back legs and thats at the polar and then tacked as before. Lovely. Now let's clean everything up round and long lines all around unless you drawing the small , furry patches. This is mostly just drawing lines over the previous ones, so it looks cleaner and sharper. Take your time and don't rush it. Good. Now let's add the colors just at the base color first and then paint the pattern on him like before. Don't forget, you can take this opportunity to play with the patterns and showing your things. Nice job. Now we can move on to the last position, seeing him from the back. It's very similar to the front position, so let's create a hexagon shaped first with another one behind and a little bit off the head at the back. Add the years and it's funny, too, and we can already see the general shape forming up. Let's move on to the rough sketch for the details. Just go over the lines and at some for around the But finally, let's just clean everything up. With this few strokes as possible, we must let just see his backside nicely, then no less at some color. In my case, well, mostly see only the darker shape. Just add some base color down here and the color cool ritual That's the bodies catching. The next video. Where will be drunk? A corgi in a sleeping position. 7. Section 01: Corgi Sleeping: Yes, I know. Hey, everyone, let's not go over or corgi sleeping. It's usually quite fun to draw them sleeping because they tend to be in some their positions, and we can take advantage off that by exaggerating the character design. All right, so let's start with our mind shapes. First with the kind of a loaf shape a big loaf of bread like this, then at the neck, right next to it and the head after maybe health circle within those smoking out. Now we just add the years like this. So what we are missing now are the legs. So this time, instead of doing the leg pointing towards the head, we're going to do the opposite. As you might have noticed before, When Gordy's are sleeping, they'll extend to sleep away from them. Sometimes they go to the site and other times they go behind. So let's do something like that like this. And of course, the house circle for the little tile. Now, just at the front leg, going toward the head and you that looks nice. I'm just going to make the overall shape a bit smaller, so it treats are guidelines here. All right, nicely done. Now let's do a rough sketch and see what we can do better and at details, too. Start with the head, adding the little nose and shin and the small line for the clothes. I says he's sleeping. Then just go around the rest of the body, adding small strokes around the 30 parts, like the neck, legs and the books. There we go. Now let's store final lines, start with head and go through the previous lines. Always do us few lines as possible. It'll make the image cleaner and smoother. Don't be afraid to repeat lines if you think they are in perfect as it like. Take your time. All right, lovely work. Now let's at some colors with a pattern that you'd like to use and don't forget to paint the color. There we go. We can now move on to the front view once again. Let's start with our main shapes since this flight on the floor start with a health circle shape for the mind body and then and then voted Pentagon for the head. Now at the years and yet there we go. All right, so let's go to the sketching face start adding some details like the nose, the closed eyes and the boats. Keep everything pretty simple with the furtive patches on the site. Lovely job. Let's clean up the lines now. You can start wherever you like. I usually like to start with the head long lines all around. Unless you are doing the fuzzy patches. Don't forget that. Nice. We cannot bend it up. So at some callers, you can use the same as before by experiments between other stones. Small tip. If you don't like seeing Leinart in your paintings, you can change the line colors to match the color off. The shapes are You can just spend everything up from the beginning, drawing with big, colorful shapes. I usually just go with lineup, but you can try other ways and see what works best for you. All right, so that's about its next. We'll do our back position. Here we go. Start within mine shapes with a round of health circle shape, almost like a tortoise shell. No, I have here the little X booking out sideways, a circle for our tail and the beat off the head at the back. Now at his big floppy use. And there we go. So let's do our sketch lines. Go over the previous lines with a bunch of small, fuzzy line sister back and stand toe. Be very fluffy and fuzzy at some details to the little paws and keep going with the rest of the body. Lovely. So now let's go to our final clean lines. Clean everything up as before. Take your time and don't rush things. Good job. Let's just other callers. Now. He'll be mostly orange, but then part of his butt and Paul's will be in a different color. Nice job. This is all for the sleeping Cordy. Well done going this far, I'll catch you in the next video. 8. Section 02: Dalmatian Standing: Yes, I know. Hey, everyone and welcome. We're now going to start with a Dalmatian. As usual, we started the sending position in the side view. The Dalmatian is very different to draw from the Cory Sister Corgi is very fuzzy and which runs shapes and the Dalmatian is very slim and long. So let's start with a quick circle for the head and then else locked with angle shape for the snow. Now as a triangle going down for the year and no one can stop drawing the spine. It's like a nest shape coming from the heads into his way like this. Let's add a shape for the chest area and a circle for his backside. Let's do the back leg now very long and the same thing for the front leg. Finally, just at the line to the end off the spine. And that is where I'll tell will be nice job. We have our general shape, so we can now understand how it's going to look like, all right, so now we can sketch it in our mission up to add details at a quick I as before, and keep going through the lines at some little toes to hiss pause into the chest line has enough. What slope? Good. Let's just adequate caller again and we're done with our sketch. Let's go for our final lines here. We have to do even longer lines. So try to do is fuel lines as possible very cleanly and smooth. Feel free to add some details to the color if you'd like. So no, we cannot some color. In the result of Dalmatian, there isn't much on it. So just at the base white collar with some black 40 years and start adding sports all around finally, some color on the corner and ruthlessly that you can also let some shadow, since we don't have a lot off caller to fill in and it gives its own extra dept. All right, nice job. Now let's go to our front view. Start with a circle for the head with one triangle on each side, 40 years now, at the straight line, going down for the neck. Now for the chest area, we can do almost like a flower vase shape finally as two lines for the legs and the circle behind for his, but we destroyed line for the bake like and the cursed one for his tail. All right, we have our shapes, so we can now do a rough sketch. Start with the head and years, and that's some quick googly eyes. Keep going over the lines and don't worry too much how it looks right now. Just keep going with the major shapes and details. Now we can do our final lines, so go over the lines, keep everything very smooth, and with quick, long lines, this is a time to refine and clean everything up. So take your time to get everything right. And don't be afraid to redo previous lines if you have toe. Finally, we just need to add some color toward automation. White for the base caller and black for all the spots. Don't forget the color blue collar, and if you'd like, you can feel in some shadows. Great job that's are finished. Front view. Dalmatian. Let's go on to the back view. So we start with this circle for the head, just like all the others. Two triangles and the straight line down for the neck. Do a voice shape for the main body like this and straight lines for the legs. That's it. No, let's do a rough sketch. Go over the lines and at details. Since it's from the back side, there are rented a lot of details to add. But don't forget the little pose and the caller. All right, great job. So now let's go to our final version with the clean lines, everything very smart and with long lines again, Take your time. It don't rush things. Grip it lines if you have to. This is the final version. So you wanted to look as neat as you can. Lovely job. Now we only need to tolerate so at the base white collar and fill it with sports as before , Penta color in blue or any other color. And we can do some shadows as well, if you'd like. There you go. That's the finished Dalmatian standing. I hope you enjoyed it and I'll catch you in the next video 9. Section 02: Dalmatian Sitting: Yes, I know. Hey again. So let's go toe are sitting position for the Dalmatian. As always, we're going to start with our main shapes in the sight position. First, creative ways shaped like this. Very simple. Now that we have a ship for our body trait around its X agan. So we know where our back like is then create a line for the chest like this. We can already make a guideline to know where the front leg will be. Now we can do a straight line for the neck with a circle on top for the heads, a triangle for the snow and then not triangle for the year. There we go. We have our shapes. Now we can go for a rough sketch counter around the previous lines with a little nose and I and keep going. Let's start to telling the legs and the toes in the pulse. Don't forget to other tail. Lovely job. Now we can do the green lines. Let's start cleaning everything up. As usual, I start with the head, but such which whatever makes you comfortable focus on the long lines. The Dalmatian is a very slim dog, so the longer and smoother the lines, the better. Nice job. Let's just put in white coat on it. And at some black spots, if you have dogs, you can show to sketch them out while they are playing or watch them in their sleep. They are amazing references. All right, so let's just at some shows toe make it pop a bit more and we can move to the front of you . All right, So for the front view, let's do a vertical line from the bottom to the top, then the smaller result of line on the bottom. That's where all donations food will be. A longer horizontal line right here, a smaller again, the both and then even smaller. One that both at the top with your circle for the head, with a triangle in each site. 40 years now, we can just unite this lines all around, making the vice shape. That's our main shape for adult. Let's not do the sketchy lines so we can see a little bit better what's happening here. So it started with a neck and go down, going towards the center of our drawing for the front leg. Now we can do the same on the other side like this as a cooler. His and the head details Don't worry too much. Just simple lines now, just at the back legs with a little pause in the bottom. Love the job. Now we can finish our lines. Keep everything pretty loose with us. Few lines as possible. As always, Take your time. These are the final lights nicely. Then let's now at the white collar with the spots on our Dalmatian and went to color. Let's also write some shadows as before, for the extra Dept. All right, so let's go for the back view. It's very, very similar to the front view in terms of overall shape. So let's start with the same lines as before and then create to face shapes for the main body and the back legs. As always, a circle for the heads, triangles for the years and the tail in the bottom. Cool. Let's do the sketch lines now go over the previous lines and at some details. But since we're seeing from the back, they don't money. Did those too wet nicely done? Let's clean up everything up now we can even just do help off the lines like this and go to copy based and go here for the free transform flip horizontal option and then just move to the other side. This way, we have a really symmetrical figure off course. This is just a quick drink. You can do the whole figure by hand, and most off the times, it will look more natural unless you're really going for a stylized approach. All right, let's just finish this up. Having our color with the black spots and the blue collar. Don't forget to add some shadows if you want to give it slightly more debt and we're done Lovely Joe, and I'll catch you in the next video. 10. Section 02: Dalmatian Sleeping: Yes, I know. So all right, we're going to the sleeping position or not are mation. We're going to start with the side view as always. So let's start with the wrong With Pentagon shaped like this, this will be your back leg with a tail pointing out No, make the rest of the body. We can make a geometric shape here for the front life like that. You can also add the back leg here finally will make our circle for the heads within those spoke ing out and the triangle year you can even in sexual rates this line here on the back and make it even deeper for a bigger curvature. All right, now we're going for the second part, which is a sketch so you can have everything like we like it. So start roughing everything out with the boss. The counter off the body, I and those So you can see here. We have our dog sketch so you can move on to the line out. I'm going to start with this back leg, England everything up. You can start wherever you like with long smart lines. Relax and keep going until we have everything done. There's only to rush. So just take your time with this loves you work. We can now add some quick colors, put white on the main body, and at some spots all around. We can also add some shadows for the extra Dept. As always. All right, so we can now go for the front view. This view is pretty simple, so let's try to keep the trying simple and clean. Start with a simple shape, like a burning for the hit at the triangle, years on each side and the other bit off pause on its side as well. Now you can add to small tips for the shoulders of our dog showing up a little. All right, so now let's go for the rough sketch so I can understand better what's happening here. Start roughing everything else Edin knows for the dog's face and two small lines for the close ice at some quick details for the bulls on each side and finish up on top. Lovely. That's now door line out, cleaning everything up with smooth lines. Keep everything simple. You can also try changing the positions as well and due, for example, to off the ball is going to the site instead, like this. All right, well, mostly finished with its Allegis at some quick color to it at the base. Whites and some blacks sports around him. There we go. Now let's move on to the back few, which has always is very similar in shape to the front view, but less detailed. So let's start with the A Cup shape, shape like this for the mind body, with the back legs and at the till they're on the bottom. There's not much else we can see from here, so we can just do a rough sketch quickly and move on to our final lines. As you can see, there isn't much to it. So just make smooth lines here, and we're done. Now. We can just with some white collar and the black spots on the Dalmatian, and that's some quick shadows and we're done. Great job. I hope we enjoy destroying, and I'll see you in the next video 11. Section 03: Saint Bernard Standing: Yes, I know. Hey again. So now will be trying the next dog, which is a cent or not, Breed. This one is a bit of a mix between the corgi and the Dalmatian in terms of shape, because it's very bulky, like a corgi with a lot of for but its soul like a donation. So let's start with our standing position and, as always, our side view. We start with this polygonal shape for the overall body, then a big circle with the muzzle, which is shorter than before, and very wrong headed, strangle or a year near the hit and the big fluffy toe. We can also add the chest line and the legs in the back in front, like so we can see already the major shape off the dog. These are big and fluffy dogs were there a lot of for and muscle. All right, so let's start sketching. Since out in this dog we want to add a lot of shorter lines to represent the for all around this body. You can also add the sort of color shape for around his neck, almost like a fluffy lion. They are usually shown using a sort of bear around their neck, which is supposedly carrying alcohol in case someone is trapped in freezing temperature. But that's just what the story's tells us. Nevertheless, we can at one toward something more to our dog. Okay, keep going with the lines, adding details. Solar Rome, including the Paul's knows and I. So then we go. Let's start with the final lines now they have a lot off. So in this dog, we still want to use smaller lines on the extra furry parts. Other than that, keep the lines long and smooth and try to use this few lines. It's possible. Nice job. Now we just need to add some color to our dog. Let's try very delights. Grim caller. Something like this. Therefore, it is usually lights and brown, but you can try different things to make it more euro. I'm going with the light brown for most of the body. Don't forget to paint a kick. Very nice. Let's now go for a front view. Start with the big voice shape at the extra for off the neck like we did before. Then a bit off the side body with detail way back there. So Now we're missing the head. A big, roundish head. Which one? Brother? Triangle year on each site. Nice. Let's do a rough sketch now at the details on the mouth and nose, the years and the barrel up front and the big line, like for around the neck. Give going with the legs and chest blind with the big balls in the bottom at the partially body. Until that we can see there and keep going with other details, such as the ice. There we go. Lovely job. Now we can move on to the final lines. So start to do long lines all around except on the fuzzy pots, which in disguise is a great part off the character design. So in that case, the small lines to represent all that for that, the ST Bernard says, Nice job. Now we can just point everything up like before we can use the same collars, relax and just paint everything out slowly and surely again. Don't forget to paint a barrow very well. Now we're going to go for the back view off the scent Burnett. So it's very similar to the previous one. Start with the voice shape and the partly seen voice right next to it than a furry neck with head and ears in each side. I went off course. Let's add the tail right here. All right, So as you can see, it's a simplified version off the front of you. Let's do the sketch lines. We can start with their heads and go around to the bottom. Most off, the details are done with short lines to represent all the four we can see from this position. Great job. Now let's do our final lines again. Remember to keep most very loose, and since it's back position, we can see a bunch of for all around. So keep the lines shorts around the extra fuzzy areas. Nice. Now we just need to point everything up. This time, we're going to have a lot more off the Browning tone as opposed to the front view. Here we can see the cake, so just focus on all the four colors. Nice job here we have was sent Bernard standing 12. Section 03: Saint Bernard Sitting: Yes, I know. All right, let's go to our next Swayze over sent Burnett, and this time we're going to draw him sitting, starting with side view, as always, make you big room circle for the heads and a short muzzle. We can also add our ear and the overall body shape below, like a tilted to the side vice. Now we can make a line through the middle so we can find the hint leg here and just make the front leg to the left side and the title to the right. So we have our main shapes. Now we're going to make a rough sketch to put everything in place and at some minor details , start roughing everything up, Eddie extra foot on the neck, a circle shape for the cake and start adding Morford around the overall body with short lines. Don't worry too much about how good the lines are right now. Just keep going. Don't forget to add some pause. NT I Now, finally, we can add a line up, so start cleaning everything up very loose lines and take your time. If a line doesn't come up right, we draw it. Be patient with your arts and have fun while doing it at some minor details to the cake. The tail, the licks. Lovely. Now let's call him. Once again, let's use a cream caller for the base and then a brownish color for the pattern. Remember that not all sent burners have the same pattern. So if yours doesn't look quite like this, it's totally okay. Don't forget toe. It's white to the I and to color the kick. Good job. Next, we're going to draw him from the front of you. So let's start once again with your mind shapes. The ships will be pretty similar to the ones refused for our scent burners in the standing position. So first start with the exit, gone for the heads and triangles for the years. And now this waste shaped for the rest of his mind body at the run shape for the extra neck for and then the cake showing up near the neck. You can also read the legs appearing from the site. All right, so now that we're done with that, we can move on to the rough sketch layer, start adding the details like the sloppy mouth knows and ice and keep adding lots of for all around the body. You can also add the front pose and the back post if they're visible like this. Nice job. Now we can start cleaning everything up smooth lines and keep them very loose. This is a mother of practice and patience. So take your time until you're happy with your lines. Steak on and give going. There's no pressure and there we go. Let's now move on to the calorie at the crime tone for the base and do the brownish pattern . A smoke deep that I have for you is to try different techniques. Try different tools, see what works best for you and what doesn't. So you feel working. Traditionally, Just try new pencils or pans or brushes, whatever you feel like it. And you for working digitally. Try finding new brushes with textures or that their schedule field. There's a lot to find over the Internet. I'm actually going to add the tail showing a bit on the side like this, but it's so to live to you if you want it there or not. All right, there we go. We have are sitting dog. Let's now move on to the back view. It's very similar to the previous few, but we weigh less Tito. So start with the same voice shape with one shape in which site which on his back legs. You can also raise this lines, since you won't see those lines from the sides, then add the foreign next shape here with their heads and years of both, and I'm going to add the tail here on the side nicely. Then let's school for a rough sketch, just adding a lot of short lines all around his body. It isn't much to wait other than that, so keep your hand loose and had some fuzzy details all around the body. And now we can add the lineouts. Clean up the lines with us two strokes as you can. Take your time. It don't rush it. This isn't the competition. I've recently talked to a student that was asking me how much he should sketch before dedicating to the one final results, and my answer is really Don't rush it. Just keep going, keep practicing, have fun with it and keep trying. There is no big grade and drawing just relaxed and lungs slowly and steady. All right, So let's now add the callers to our dog. Since it's from the back view, we will see a lot off that brownish tone. But we'll still have that face cream don. And here we are. We are finished with our sent Bernard sitting. 13. Section 03: Saint Bernard Sleeping: Yes, I know. Hello again. We're going toe are sleeping Position off the scent burners. So let's get right into it. Starting with the site position, make a rounded rectangle almost like a big loaf of bread. Then we can go for heads, a big circle and the shorts now as a triangle here near the circle. And now we can, as are hugely here with a little bit off the poor. And then the front like that goes right next to the head. Now we are only missing a bit of tile right here. There we go. Now we have our mind shapes. So let's not do a rough sketch to add some details to it. Start roughing around his head and at a lot off for around the neck. As before, it will actually cover part of his front life. Then add more foot on top and around the leg. And finally, the tail. Don't forget the little line for the close tie. All right, so let's go for the lineup. Start cleaning everything up, make smooth lines around the head, and most off the body is going to be short lines for that extra fuzzy look. Now is the time to decide on your lines, making everything how you want it to look. So take your time until you're completely happy with it. Good job. Now let's add some color to our dog. Start with the usual cream color as the base and at the brownish color on top for the pattern. All right here looks nice. Let's move on to our front view. Start with the big X A gun for their heads. With the years on each site, let's make you suppose right next to the head and then a big lump behind him, which is his neck for and the rest off the bodies showing up and then the till behind. Love the job. Now let's do a rough sketch. Start with their heads and ears and keep going. Keep the first parts of his body with short, quick lines and at details such as his nose most and closed eyes. Great. Now let's clean everything up. The heaven years will be pretty smooth with long lines, and the rest should be mostly fuzzy. So do short lines for the spots, such as the Mick and the tail. Finally, we just have to paint everything up. Start with the previous green tone and then do the pattern on top with the brownish tone. Don't worry too much. If the pattern isn't 100% correct. You're not a machine. A nice job. There we go. Now we can go for the back view. This one is well, is detailed and very quick to do to around shaped like a big eagle, then at another layer for the furry neck. Then we just need our big tile going to the site and that seat for the shapes. We can see the head since it's playing on the floor and we have all this for in front of it . Now we just sketch everything up, create short lines for all the for, especially the neck foot. And now we can just clean everything up. So keep the lines very loose and start making all that for with us through lines s possible . Finally, we just have to add some color. So at the cream caller and then the brown pattern on top. After these, we've done a lot of dogs, and you should be able to draw mainly any other breed of dogs. We've covered small dogs, tall and skinny dogs and finally, the big, bulky dogs. I recommend you to go around and see if you can find dogs walking down the streets and try to quickly sketch them. Or, if you prefer such image online off other dog breeds and see what you can do. All right. Thanks for joining me. And I hope you enjoyed your time. And here we are or sent were not sleeping. 14. Assignment: Yes, I know. Hello, everyone. So let's go quickly.
