1. Introduction: Hello, my name is good us and welcome to my course. In this course, you will learn how you can easily create a website using the Zara website builder, you don't need any coding skills or WordPress knowledge. You will see yourself how easy it can be too great a professional-looking website, it depends on what type of website you are planning to build. But Abilene 0 is a great choice for everyone who doesn't have time to learn how to use WordPress or e-commerce platforms. This course consists of two parts. In the first part, I will show you how to create a business website so you'll be able to represent your brand. And in the second part, you will learn how to create an e-commerce store. I was quite surprised by how easy it was to great store compared to other platforms such as Woo Commerce or Shopify, it's easy to add payment gateways, shipping methods, or even products itself, just with a few clicks, you can also connect your store to face bookshop or Instagram store, as you can see it right here. This is one of the websites which are created using the Zotero website builder. And by following this course, you will be able to create a similar wraps it. Of course, the whole customization part will be up to you so that you could create your unique looking business or e-commerce website. So if you're ready, we can start the course. 2. Zyro Features Overview: Alright, before we start grading our website, I would like to show you some of desirable features. You can access them right here and they are all free to use. So the first feature which is very convenient, is the logo maker. It's very useful if you don't have Photoshop or you don't know how to use it. You can easily design and download nice-looking logos without leaving the Zara website. I highly recommend you try it out. You will be surprised by the results. Also a find it very interesting that this website builder has a lot of AI tools for generating various types of content, such as slogans, block titles, or even business names. Alright, so just before we jump into grading our website, I will give you a quick explanation on the available plants. So as you can see right here, we have five different plants. The first prairie plants have for creating business websites or blogs. The last few plants have for grading e-commerce stores. So to grade an e-commerce store, you will need to get one of these two plans because it would have re-plan or any other. You will not be able to use e-commerce functionalities. You can always start with the free plan and later upgraded. So that's all about 0 features. Now you can create your account and from here, we will start building our website. 3. Choosing a Template: And let's start building our website by choosing a template. Of course, you can go right here and select a template which you would like to use. But I usually like to go to my dashboard. And as you can see right now, don't have any websites because I haven't chose any template. Once you choose a template and you start building your website, this website will be added here, and if you will decide it, you want to build another website. This other website will be added here as well. So let's go to templates. And as you can see, we even have different categories of templates for e-commerce business and so on. So there are quite a lot of different templates available if you're interested to see how this template would look as a website, you can click Preview and this way it will be much easier to decide which template you would like to use. Alright, I guess I'm going to select this template when I click Start building. And just like that, I can start building my absence. So for example, if I would go right here, as you can see, this template, this website was added to my website's list. And from here I can start doing changes to this website. Alright, so let's click Edit website. So this is how you start building your website. All you have to do is just a big template, which is completely up to you. 4. Customizing Your Template: All right, so it's time to start customizing our template. But before we do that, I would like to walk you through all the settings so you would be a little bit more familiar with everything. Alright, so the first section here is all about the pages. You can remove pages, you can add pages later on. That's exactly what we're gonna do. So from here we can move on to elements section right here you will find all the elements. You can add those elements anywhere you want. Just drag and drop it. And this way you will add a certain element. All right, let's go to Style section. Basically this style section is completely up to you, as you can see here, you can change bonds once you choose the style of texts, it will be applied for all of your website. It's up to you if you want to do any styles adjustments. The next thing which we could do, we can check how our website would look on mobile devices. Again, see, this is how it would look as great thing to have because you can understand how your website is going to look. You can even do changes to your website using this mobile view. Alright, let's go back to a desktop view. Let's go up. And as you can see here, using those two arrows, we can undo changes which we did previously. So for example, if I would delete this text element right here, I can undo those changes or I can redo those changes. So as you can see it this way, you don't need to be afraid that once you delete something and it's gone, you can easily undo those changes without any issues. Right here it indicates what auto save is on. So there's not much to talk about it about setting section. I'm gonna talk in other lessons. So there's quite a lot of things to discuss about. And from here we can move on to sidebar. So right here if you would, this option, you could import your website. So for example, maybe you have your website somewhere else and you would like to use IRA builder. This is quite convenient tool to have because by using it, you can import images and texts. So it's going to help a little bit to move your website. Alright, we can close it. And here we have ai writers. So the one which I was talking previously. So as you can see right here, you can choose the topic, you can choose the category, and you can choose what type of paragraph you would like to have is if it's going to be about or any other type of paragraph. So yeah, this is where interesting tool to have a highly recommend you to test everything yourself. So, okay, we can close it right here we have a blog. So by choosing this option, V can add a blog, journal, website. There's quite a lot of things to talk about it, so I will cover everything in other lessons now, right? So since this lesson is all about customization and actually I haven't done any changes. The first change which we can do is for our header. As you can see, this is our header and we could change the logo also if you want, you can even change the background. So let's click right here and let's select logo. Alright, let's click replace image. And since I have already uploaded my logo, I'm just gonna select from my images. So this is the logo which are created using Zotero logo maker. So basically I'm using every single tool Xero has to offer. All right, so let's go to Logo adjustments. Let's change the size a little bit. Yeah, I believe it looks great, so yeah, this is how you can change the logo of your website. So the next thing which I would like to talk is section. So basically all our pages are created out of section. So as you can see, this is the first section. This is the second section. This is the third section, and this is the last section. So basically those sections, how various elements? So as you can see that this section has a text element and image elements. So you can move those elements anywhere you want. And if you need to do some changes to our particular section, you can do it right here once you click on it and you'll be able to delete it, duplicated or change the background and do other similar adjustments. Highly recommend you to decide which sections you are planning to keep and which sections you are planning to delete. If you need to add some new sections, you can click add a new section. So once you click to add a new section, you can choose what type of section you would like to add. As you can see here, we have different categories available or we can add a blank section and we can add elements ourself. So yeah, just like that, you can add new sections to your page or I'm just going to undo the changes. Also, you can adjust the height of a certain section by moving it arrived here. So this is how you can do adjustments to this section. So I'm just going to delete this sections which I'm not planning to use. Alright, so as you can see, I just finished the removing sections which I'm not planning to use and the only kept two sections later on, I'm going to add some new sections in which I'm going to add some elements. For example, you can do the same for other pages. Let's say I'm gonna go to About Us page and as you can see, we have some other sections which might be completely irrelevant to your website so we can delete them. So once you click on that section, you can click delete it. And this way you will delete all this section. So just the lead the sections which you are not planning to use. And from here we can move on to another lesson. 6. Changing Images of Your Template: All right, let's do some changes to images. Since I'm planning to keep this image element, I'm just going to replace the image itself. So once you click on the image element, you will see a free options. You can change the image, you can duplicate it, you can delete it. So let's click Change Image and let's click replace the image. You have two options for images. You can use images from the gallery. So those images are free to use, or you can upload images yourself. But in this case I'm going to use free images. So just use search to look for image you would like to use. All right, I guess I'm going to use this image and I'm just gonna click Select. All right, so the next thing which you have to do is just click right here on SEO. And here you have to enter all text or alternative text. This text is used when the image fails to load. So the user will see this text instead of the image. So you want to be descriptive and specific. So I'm just going to enter some text. Also, you have an option to add action to a certain image. So for example, if V will then enable this action, we will be able to add URL or page to this image. So once the user clicks on it, he would go to the certain page or URL, or even he would be able to use a phone number or email. So it's up to you if you want to use actions, but if you will decide that you want to use them, this is where you can add them. So right, we just added an image so we can close this window. And if you want, you can resize the image box as you can see by moving it up or down, we can move this box as well. And if you will need to add a new image element, you can find everything right here. So just select image and just drag it anywhere you want. Just drop it and just like that, you will add another image. So as you can see it yourself, it's very easy to add new images. You even have an option to use pre-images. 7. Adding New Pages: All right, let's do some changes to our pages. So as you probably remember, all settings related to pages are done right here. So the first step which we could do is delete some of the pages which we are not planning to use because this template came with more pages when we need, alright, so to delete a page, just click right here and click delete. Let's select Delete. And this way you will delete the page which you are not planning to use. Alright, so I just finished a leading the pages. And the, if you want to add a new page, you have two options. So you can add a new page or you can add page as URL. So once you click right here, you would add a new page and you would enter your URL. And once a visitor would click on that page, he would visit that particular URL. But in this case, I'm just gonna create a new page and just select, Add a blank page. As you can see, a new page was added, and now we can rename this page. So to rename this page, click right here. Let's select page settings and just add a name to this page. And you should add the same page URL as the title of this page. All right. I just changed the title and the ad Admob page URL and the later lessons I will talk a little bit more about SEO part for now we can click Save. As you can see, a new page was added to our navigation menu. So to start adding elements, first of all, you will have to add a new section to this page. And let's select add blank section. And all you have to do is just add elements to this section. So just like that, you will create a new page. But let's say you would like to hide a certain page from navigation menu, just like our homepage is hidden from this menu. So to do this, you would have to go around here and let's click here and we can select hide as again, see this way, we will hide this page from our navigation menu. Alright, but I want to show this page in my menu, so I'm just going to click Show. So basically that's all you need to know about pages. 8. Adding Instagram Feed, Subscribe and Contact Forms: In this lesson, I'll show you how to add some of the elements which we have not used yet. And I believe those elements are very useful. So alright, let's start by adding an Instagram feed element which can be found arrived here. Alright, so as you can see it, this is the element. And before we add this element, we should create a new section. Of course, if you want, you can use the same sections, but at first you have to delete some of the elements or you will have to make those sections a little bit larger. Usually I like to create new section, so that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm just gonna click add new section and I'm going to select add blank section. So the blank section was added to our page. And now we can add Instagram feed elements. So this is the element which we want to use just added. And as you can see, just like we added an Instagram feed, of course this is not how a feed, so we have to do some adjustments to it. So let's click edit feed. And once you click Connect Instagram, you will be able to give a permission for 0 to use your media and information so that you could display your Instagram feed on your website. So just like that, I had in mind Instagram feed and I can make this section even larger. So this way I believe it will look even better. Of course, you can do some other adjustments. Once you click right here, you will be able to change how many items you want to display. And you can do some other layout adjustments. You can decide how many items per row you would like to display. And you can change the gap between photos so those settings are completely up to you. Usually Vanna add an Instagram feed to my website. I like to add some text element above this section to say that our visitors can find me on Instagram or something like that. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm just going to add a text elements saying that they can find me on Instagram. Alright, so I just added some text about my Instagram feed. And the next element which we could use is subscribe form. So I'll Wizards could subscribe to our email list and we could do e-mail marketing. I'm not going to use this element right now because I'm planning to add it to a foot or so. In the next lesson, I will show you how to use this subscribe form. Alright, so the next very useful element which we could use as a contact form. So obviously we can use this form in our Contact Us page. So let's go to our Contact Us page. And as you can see here, we have some information which game with our templates. So obviously I don't want to use some of these sections, so I'm just gonna delete them. All right, I just finished a leading sections which I'm not planning to use and now I can add a contact us form. So dad is formed, just drag it anywhere you want. And this way you will be able to add a contact us form. So your visitors will be able to contact you using this form. So let's do some adjustments. Let's move some of the elements. So let's make this form to look a little bit better. And as you can see, the only changes you need to do right here. So it's up to you if you want to add your email address, your phone number, or your real address. So if you want, you can keep those elements. All we have to do is just do some adjustments. So yeah, I believe those elements are very useful. And if you want to test some other elements yourself, don't be afraid to do that. Every single element can be found right here. This way you will learn how to use iro even better. 9. Editing Footer: Okay, let's add a footer to our website. Let's scroll down and basically we have to add a new section in the footer. I usually like to include information as contact details like email address, phone number address. I usually include social media profiles and this time I'm going to add subscribe to a newsletter form. So let's click Add section. And this time instead of choosing ad blank section, let's choose footer. As you can see, we have quite a lot of different templates available. But for this lesson I'm going to choose this template. And as you can see, our footer was added successfully. And the only changes we have to do is just change the address, change the contact details, and don't forget to add your own social media profiles. Just click on this element and select edit social icon space you're on social media profiles right here. For example, if you have some other social media profiles like Pinterest or something like that, just paste the URL of your profile right here and click ok. This way it will be added to our footer. Alright, as you can see right here, we have subscribe to our newsletter form. So once it was there, subscribe to your newsletter, you can access all emails by clicking right here, edit form and let's click View form submissions right here you'll see all emails and you can use those schemas for email marketing. All right, let's go back to our website. As you can see now we have a footer and our homepage, but let's say let's click on other page like contact us and we didn't have this footer right here. So we would have to add a new section, just like we did in our Homepage. Let's select footer, and let's click the footer. We want to use. The same footer was added to our Contact Us page, but it has the same information. So you have to do same adjustments as you did for your homepage. Just add your own information, add social media profiles. And if you want to have the same footer and every single base you will have to add for each page, the same footer and you will have to do the same adjustments. So yeah, this is it. This is how you can easily add a footer to your website. 10. How to Add a Blog to Your Website : In this lesson, we'll show you how you can add a blog to your websites. So to add a blog, you would have to go right here and click blog. This way you will be able to add a blog. So let's click start a blog and as you can see, blog was added to our menu. Alright, so since we added a blocked our website now we could create categories for our blog posts. So to create a category for blog post, you would have to click right here. And all we have to use yes, click add a new category, just type the name of category here. And this way you can add as many categories as you wish. So I'm just going to add a couple of categories to my blog. Alright, so I just had a two categories and now we can do some adjustments to the blog itself. So to do some adjustments, you want to click on this section and we can click settings. And here you can change the layout adjustments and how many posts you would like to display per page, how many columns you want to have. You can do some style adjustments. You can do simple suggests. You can select that you only want to display pose from a certain categories. And also you can change the background itself. So yeah, those settings are completely up to you, so don't be afraid to test everything yourself. And this way you will find what fits your needs the best. Also, as you can see, you can add some other sections to your blog page. So for example, we could include a footer to dissection. So just like the previous time, I'm going to add a footer. We could add another section where we would display on the blog post from a certain category. So for this we could duplicate the category which already exists. So let's click duplicate, and now we will have to do some adjustments to it. So let's click settings and let's select both. Now we can enable that we only want to display blog post from a certain categories. And let's select the category which we would like to use. So I'm just going to use this category spreads. And this way you will display only blog post from a certain category. Since now I don't have any blog posts in that category. We don't have anything to display, but we could also add another section above this block section. Just click right here, and let's click Add section. Let's select add blank section. We could add a text element which would say that here we add this playing blog posts from our category which is called spreads. So just add a text element. Let's click right here and let's drag and drop an element and just add your text. And I'm going to re-size this section. I'm going to make it a little bit smaller. And now once add some blogposts to disk category, only those posts are going to be displayed right here. Also, if you want, you can add another text elements above this blog post saying that these are your latest posts. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do now or I believe it looks good. And the next lesson I will show you how to add blogposts itself, how to change the titles, how to select categories, and so on. 11. How to Add Blog Posts: So let's add some new blog posts, and let's edit some of the existing blog posts because they are not helping us at all. So to add a new blog post is very easy. Just click right here. And by clicking Add new blog post, you'll be able to add a new blog post. So let's click Add New blog post. And all you have to use this to add content right here, just based your content if you want, you can use some of the elements such as images, videos, or anything you want. So yeah, I'm just going to add some content to this blog post and I will show you how to change the title, How to add description and other similar information. Alright, as you can see, I just finished adding content to this blog post. Also, if you want, you can add some other sections to this blog posts. You could also include a footer, just like we did with other pages. So it's completely up to you if you'd like to use a footer or add some other elements, but I'm going to keep it as it is. And all right, let's do some changes to this blog post. As you can see, the title of this blog post is still says that it's my new blog posts. So to do some adjustments to this blog post, we have to go right here. And in general tab, you want to add your title, add both description. It should be around 160 characters, and don't forget to add post URL. Your post URL should be the same as the title. So I'm just going to add that the title, I'm going to add description, I'm going to add the URL. Alright, I just finished adding title description. And as you can see, this is how URL looks. Basically, you can copy our title and paste it right here. Dashes will be added automatically. All right, next thing we can choose cover image. So to choose a color images where simple, just click replace image. You can use free images or you can upload your own image. So I'm just going to add the free image. All right, I just added color image and now I can select a category. So let's click right here. And as you remember previously, we created some category. So I'm just going to select category spreads and now I can close it. And as you can see, this is how this blog post is going to look. If you want, you can also preview this blog post and see how it's going to look. But if you've finished, everything seems fine. You can click publish, post on it. Let's click Publish. All right, our blogposts was published successfully. Now we can go back to the blog. As you can see, this blog post was added successfully. So since I added this blog post, two categories spreads now it's being displayed right here. So if you need to do any changes to existing blog posts, you can do this by going right here and the list of blog posts will appear. So as you remember, we have two blog posts which we are created by default. You can delete them if you want, or you can edit those blog posts. So let's click on this blog post and you can do the same changes as we did with a new blog post. So basically this is it, this is how you can easily add blog posts to your Zotero website. This is a very helpful, it's a good idea to have blogged since this way, you can easily bring more organic traffic to your website. 12. Adding Online Store to Your Zyro Website: Alright, so we just created our website and now we can add an online store. So for example, we could have a page in our menu which would say Storm. And once visitors would go to that store Day would be able to purchase products from our website. So to add an online store to your existing website, all you have to do is just go right here to Settings section, and let's click online store. Here you will be able to integrate online store to your website. So let's go get started now and just select an e-commerce plan. So as you can see, we have e-commerce and e-commerce plus plans. So it's up to you which plan you would like to use. And from here I'm just going to activate online store to this website. Alright, so after you activate your e-commerce plan and you're in online stores section, you should see something like this. So right here, we will be able to access our online store dashboard, as you can see here. By using this dashboard, we will be adding products. We will create categories and we will do all important settings which are related to e-commerce. So basically this is where we will focus our attention the most. All right, so as you can see here in the top section, it still says that we don't have store page. So let's click add store page. And as you can see, this page was added right here. So let's go to store, and this is how our store page is going to. As I can see, this section is a little bit too small, so I'm going to resize it out. It looks much better. Also, we can add another section underneath this store page. We could include footer. So let's click Add section. Let's select footer, and let's choose the footer which we use previously. So don't forget to change the information at your address contact details, and change social media profiles. Alright, so once you have added a store to your website now we can manage the store. Once you click right here, managed store, we got back to our online store dashboard. So basically that's it for this lesson. In later lessons, we will start doing changes to our store and we will start adding products. 13. General Settings: Alright, so before we start adding payment gateways, shipping methods, and products itself, there are some very important settings which we have to do. So let's go to the dashboard and let's start with the settings and let's select general section. Alright, in general section, add a store name. This store name will be displayed in your stores header and it will be seeing in email notifications. So this is quite important. Don't forget to add the name of your store. Right now we're not gonna specify address, so we can move on to company name and email. So just add your company name, your company email. And if you don't have the official name of your business and you can use the same company name as your store name. All right, let's go to company address. This is quite a burden at your company address. So this address will be used for various things. So this is important, don't forget to add component is that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm going to add my address. Alright, I just sat in my address, and from here we can move on to social media accounts. So if you have social media accounts, don't forget to add them right here, because those accounts will be displayed in email notifications. So for example, once a customer receives an email notification, the order was placed successfully, he will be able to check your social media profiles. Alright, so from here we can move on to another section, regional settings. So this section is quite important. Here you can select the your currency. I'm just gonna keep US dollars, but if you need Euros or anything like that here you can change the currency. Alright, let's go to weight and size units. So right here I'm gonna choose my weight in cages and I'm gonna choose dimension units, centimeters. Alright? Alright, here you can change your time zone and if you need to, you can change the time display format and they display format, this is completely up to you. All right, let's go to cart and checkout. This one again is up to you if you want to do any adjustments, usually a keep everything as it is by default. But as you can see right here, you can do such adjustments as hide out of stock products. Right now it's disabled, you can enable it. You can also do some restrictions like minimum allowed orders, subtotal, you can enter it arrived here. You can also set maximum allowed order subtotal. So this is exactly where you can do it. So these settings are completely up to you and the highly recommend you to check out everything yourself, you would understand Xero even better. Alright, so from here we can move on to illegal Pages section. And here you can enable various legal pages, as you can see, such pages as shipping and payment info, returns, policy and so on. So here you can disable some of them, you can enable some of them. And if you need to add information in those pages, you can do that right here. As you can see right now we have a blank page. So this section is also up to you because I understand that you're shipping and payment information might be different from mine. Soviet, those settings of legal pages can be done right here. Once you have finished doing changes, don't forget to click Save. Alright, from here we can move on to tracking and analytics. Now, I'm not gonna do any adjustments to this information because I will be talking more about them in integrations section. But basically you can use Google Analytics to track various information of your website and you can see how many visitors you are getting, where those visitors are coming from, what devices do they use and other information you can check given conversion rate, facebook pixel is basically for running Facebook ads. Also, you can run retargeting ads using facebook pixel. I usually use a Google Analytics Facebook pixel Pinterest stag. Now we'll use Snapchat pixel. Sometimes I use Google and stacks. So this is again up to you. And if you scroll down here, you see that you can add custom tracking code on order confirmation page. So for example, maybe you are planning to run ads on Reddit or maybe Quora. This is where you can add this code. Once you scroll down here, you will be able to add this tracking code. Since I'm not planning to add any codes right now, I'm just going to click cancel. Alright, what else we got? You can also enable GDPR cookie consent banner. So this is for Europe, mostly, if you are in the US, you shouldn't be seeing this option. So if you're planning to do business in Europe, you should enable this banner. So I'm just gonna enable it. Alright, so let's go back and let's see what else we got. Alright, so don't forget to click save. And from here we can go to other settings. All right, let's go to taxes information. Alright, so as you can see him taxes asset to be calculated automatically since I added Lithuania as my address 0 is going to use myLocation to calculate tax. So this section is completely up to you. If you want to use the axis, you can enable them. If you're not planning tab to access, you can disable them. So this is completely up to you and you can also do similar adjustments related to taxes since I'm not sure where you're planning to do your business, you have to know this information yourself. So from here we can go back and let's see what else we got mail. So basically male section is all about email notifications. So as you can see, you can enable, disable order, confirmation orders, ship notification, and other similar notifications. Usually I don't do any adjustments right here. The only thing that I would recommend you to change your so you should scroll down here, you can add your email address. So let's say if your customer is going to decide to reply to a certain notification, you will receive a reply to your email address. By clicking change, you can change those email addresses. And here I would recommend you to add your logo. This logo will be displayed. Email notifications are at. Let's go back and let's see what else we got. Alright, let's see invoice. Again. This section is completely up to you. If you need invoices here you can add taxpayer identification number which will be displayed in the otherwise. Also here you can do some other adjustments. For example, if you would enable this option, this envoys would be attached in the notification email once a customer places an order. All right, let's go back and let's see what else we got customer groups. Alright, this is a real great feature. So for example, you can create customer groups. And one of the groups could be like customers who came back to your store again and made another purchase. Once you add them to a certain group later on you can use that group to author various deal send discounts for your special customers. It's up to you. You can use it. It's a real nice thing to have, especially when you start getting more orders and the customers are coming back to your store. So it's a really great feature to have. Alright, let's go back and let's see what else product types, all right, this section is for adding attributes. So for example, you can add various attributes and when we will be adding products, you will be able to use those attributes. If you are selling t-shirts, you could include such attribute as gender. Maybe it's women's t-shirt on men's t-shirt, for example, maybe you are selling jewelry. You could include such attribute as materials. So you could later on use attributes to inform your customers that the material of this product is silver, gold, or something like that. So I'm just going to add couple of attributes because later on when we will be adding a product, I will show you where you can find them. I just had a couple of attributes and I'm going to click Sam. Also, you can add new product types. So once you click right here, you can select a different type of product. And the type of product you could include other attributes. This way if you're going to have a lot of products and you'd like to include the attributes for each product is going to be easier to add products you are stored. I usually like to add as many attributes as I need in a general section. And later on if I need them, I can use them when I'm adding a product, you will see it yourself, how it works. And from here we can go back to dashboard and let's see product filters. All right, so once you've enabled product filters, you can make your customers experience on your website even better. So for example, you could activate search filter. So your customers will be able to search products by phrase or if you need, you can also add some other filters. So as you can see right here, we can add such filter like in stock on sale price categories and the color. So it's up to you if you want to add those filters, are usually lagged. Includes filters, price on sale and install. Alright, so if you're going to need to add filters, you can do that right here. Let's go back to our Dashboard. And the last section is for editing store labels. I usually don't do any changes here, but if you ever need to do changes to store labels, for example, let's click Add Custom store label, and we could look for dates. Here, as you can see, we have a labeled date added. You could change it to any label u1. So this section again is completely up to you if you will need to do some changes. This is where you can do that. But I usually like to keep everything as it is by default because everything is great anyway. All right, so basically that's it. That's all about the general settings. Now once we have finished with them, we can start adding payment gateways, shipping methods, and we can start adding products itself. So that's all for this lesson. 14. Payment and Shipping Methods: Since we are finished with General Settings now we can start adding payment gateways and shipping methods. So let's start with payments. Let's click on payment. And as you can see it right here, by default we have one payment method and enabled and its pay by cash. I usually don't use this method because only used to payment methods and its payments by cards and PayPal. Alright, I'm just going to disable this method. And to be able to accept payments by credit or debit cards, you must have stripe account. If you don't have one, you can click right here, connect with stripe. And here you will be able to create your stripe account, add the information, add all the needed details, and within a couple of minutes you will be able to accept payments by credit or debit cards. Alright, let's go back to the dashboard. And to enable PayPal, all you have to do is just click right here, enabled. By default, Zotero is going to use the email address which you use to create the 0 count. If this is not your PayPal e-mail, you can change it right here, change PayPal e-mail, enter it right here, and click Enable paper. Just like that, you will be able to accept payments by cards and PayPal. Alright, so from here we can move on to shipping methods. Let's click on the Dashboard and let's select shipping and pickup. Alright, as you can see it right here, you can choose out of two options. You can choose shipping and delivery. And you can also add self pickup. For example, if you would use health pickup right here, your customers will be able to pick up your order, set certain location. By default, Zara will use your business address and if you need, you can change everything here. You can add business hours and so on. If I would choose this method, wouldn't charge more customers for it. Alright, let's go back also. If you want, you can add handling fee to cover your expenses for packaging and preparing an order, but I usually don't like to charge my customers with extra fees. So this one is completely up to you. Alright, let's add a shipping method. Let's click right here. As you can see here, we have four different methods available since my business location is Lithuania, Xero added those to shipping methods automatically. So depending on your location, you might have different options. For example, if your location is us, you might have such methods as USPS, UPS or something similar. Since I had Lithuanian posts right here, I'm going to set up the fan and post method. Let's click right here. And as you can see, we have four friend methods available. So we can set that this is going to be free shipping. I usually gone to offer free shipping, conditional free shipping. So for example, if your customer would spend more than $30, he would get the free shipping. But if he will not spend the third $2, the shipping is going to cost $3. Alright, we can click right here setup conditions. And yet as you can see here, you can change shipping rates. So you can change the amount of money your customer has to spend if he wants to get a free shipping. You can also change the fee of shipping and if you want, you can add even more rows. So for example, you could add another row. Let's click on it and let's add the 5999. I usually don't do that, but I wanted to show you how it works. So as you can see right here, if the customer is going to spend them less than $30, the shipping is going to cost $3. If the customer is going to spend more than $30 but not more than 60, the shipping is going to cause him to save the customer, spend $60 or more. Shipping is going to be free, but I usually don't do that. So we can remove this section. I will add $0 here. You can do some other adjustments, but usually doesn't change anything because most of the time I use flat rates and the, this conditional shipping method. All right, here we can add description. So in description you can include the delivery time. You can also add limitations. You can add the minimum amount of money customer has to spend if he wants to get the shipping method, I usually don't do any changes right here. And this section set shipping region is very important. So if you will select all destination zones and you're shipping worldwide, this shipping method will be applied for all countries. So it might not be good because let's say mob business is in Lithuania, and obviously shipping fees for lithium customers are going to be way lower than, for example, shipping fees for customers who are from United States of America. But we can do at once settings by clicking right here and here we can select for which zone this type of shipping is going to be applied. So as you can see, we can select the United States, we can select US and Canada, Europe and already added the failure. So if you need to add a new shipping zone, you have to go right here, create a new zone, like leave this page that's go up. And here you will be able to add another shipping zone. So all you have to do is just click add new zone. Here in this zone you can include the countries. So for example, you can use search and look for a countries which you would like to include. Let's close it. You can include regions, just selected which region you would like to include, and just give a title to the zone since I'm not planning to add more zones, so I'm just gonna delete the zone. All right, let's go back. And as you can see here, we will have to select that shipping zone. Let's click Advanced Settings, and let's select that this shipping is applied only for Lithuanian customers. So let's select the zone and don't forget to add description. Once you've finished, click, save and finish. Alright, as you can see, a new zone was added successfully. So if my customer is from Lithuania and he wants to get a free shipping key has to spend at least $32 on master. Alright, let's add another shipping method. Let's use Lithuanian post again, and this time let's add a flat rate. So let's click setup a flat rate n, For example, this shipping method is going to be applied only for customers who are from United States. So I'm just going to enter all the information. And as you can see, I just selected that this shipping method is only applied for the customers who are from the United States. Let's click save and finish. Alright, now we have to shipping methods, so we can include another shipping method and it would be express shipping. So let's click run here at shipping. And this time instead of choosing Lithuanian post, let's choose other carrier. So I'm just going to enter the name of this carrier. Let's click setup. So again, we can choose flat rate, we can choose conditional free shipping. It's up to you what type of shipping you would like to use. But for this, I'm going to use custom rates. I just want to show you how to set it up. But if you want, you can use flat rate because most of the time I usually use flat rates, but I understand that your needs might be different, so it's good to understand how each shipping method works. So let's click setup custom rates. And here I'm just going to add some information. All right, that just finished adding information. As you can see, the name of the shipping method is going to be dp, dx press delivery. And as you can see right here, if the weight of water is going to be one kilogram or less, the price of the shipping is going to be free. If the width of order is going to be more than one kilogram, but less than two kilograms. The price is going to be $4. And then the last row, as you can see, if the weight of water is going to be more than three kilograms, the cost of shipping is going to be $6. So just like that, you can set up a shipping method according to the weight of water. Alright, let's go down. And as you can see right here, this shipping method is only available for customers who are from Lithuania. So let's click save and finish. So as you can see, we have read different shipping methods and customers who are from Lithuania have two different shipping methods. So they have expressed delivery and they have standard shipping. You already know how standard shipping works. Mock customer has spent more than $32 to be able to get the shipping. And we have only one shipping method for customers from United States. So it's a flat rate and the shipping cost is going to be $15. So just like that, you can add as many shipping methods as you need for different regions. You can add flat rates, you can add conditional shipping methods, like your customer has to spend a certain amount of money he wants to get free shipping. It's up to you what type of shipping methods you want to use. Usually, I like to use flat rates for various zones, but this time I just want to show you what possible shipping methods. All right, let's go to the checkout page and let's see how these methods actually look our items in our shopping cart. And as you can see now, we can select shipping and delivery if you would choose country. Basically we only have two countries available, Lithuania and United States because we haven't added any shipping methods for other regions. All right, I'm going to add my address and we will see how these shipping methods look. Now, right? As you can see, we have to shipping methods. We have expressed delivery and it costs $3 because this product weights less than one kilogram. And we can choose standard shipping because the value of order is more than $30. So basically that's all about payment and shipping methods. 15. How to Add Products: In this lesson, I will show you how you can add new products to your store. Alright, let's go to the Dashboard. Let's select catalog. And actually we can create new categories for our website. Alright, as you can see in general tab, we can add a description to our main category, which is called store front page. You can add a short description and this description will be displayed once visitors go to your store page, as you can see right here, in category products, those are all brothers which bear added to this main category. If you want to create a new category, just click right here, add the name. If you want, select the category image and you can also add a short description. I'm just gonna give a name to this category. And all you have to do is just click Save. As you can see, a new category was added successfully. And if you want, you can add products to this category. So by clicking here assigned products to category, you can select which products you would like to assign to a certain category. Alright, let's close this window. And since I'm not planning to use this category, I'm just going to delete it. So let's click Delete. Yes, and let's go to menu and let's click products. As you can see right now, we have quite a lot of products which are completely not suitable for our store. We can delete them if you want, you can add them, but I usually like to delete all the demo content which I'm not planning to use. So just select all products. Let's click Delete selected. And this way we can delete every single. All right, so now we can start adding new products ourselves. So all you have to do is just click add new product. And all you have to do is just add information, upload images, set Bryce at SKU, add weight. Of course, if you are planning to use shipping methods which are calculated by weight and add description. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Alright, as you can see, I just finished adding information. If you want, you can even control the stock. You can add the number. How many items do you have in the stock? So this section is completely up to you and you can also preview the product. Let's see how it's going to look. Let's click Accept. And as you can see, this is how our product is going to our eye, but we are not finished yet. Let's close it. And here we can add attributes to this product. As you remember previously, we added some new attributes. So we added material and gender. So right now we're not going to use any attributes. But for example, let's add a brand attribute. So I will show you where this attribute will be shown. Alright, now we can click preview product, and as you can see, this attribute is going to be shown right here. So that's close it. And here in options section, we can add different options of this product. So let's click Add New option, and we can add such option as color. We can choose the input types, so we can choose radio button, checkbox, or any other. So I'm just gonna keep radio button and let's click Add New value. So just like that, I'm going to add a couple of values. So I'm going to add two colors, black and white. Also, you can use price modifier. So for example, if a customer would select black version, this option would cost more. So let's say I'm going to add $2. So that means this black option of this product is going to cost $42 instead of $40. Alright, now we can preview our product again, and as you can see here, we can select the color and it even shows that the black color is going to cost more. And the reason why it's showing more than $2, it's because I enabled taxes. Alright, let's close it and the file section, you can upload a file. So for example, if you are selling products which also come with eBooks or something like that, you can upload those files right here and your customer would receive that file where? Email notification. Alright, let's go to tags and shipping. So as you can see yourself here, you can add weight and dimensions. Of course, it said that this product requires shipping. And here in shipping rates you can choose different shipping methods. But since it's set to use global aerates, our customers will have only those shipping methods which we created previously. So if you want, you can offer free shipping for certain products. So yeah, this is how you can change shipping rates. But our usual done to use any other shipping rates and the only US global rates. Alright, let's go up and let's go to SEO section. Alright, as you can see it yourself, this is how our product would look in Google search results. So I highly recommend you to make the page title longer. As you can see right now, we only using 8055 characters. So you want to make your title a little bit longer because this way it's going to be a little bit more eye-catching. And method description should be 160 characters. Alright, we can go through related products and here you can do up sales. So for example, you have more products, so already added another product to my store, and I can assign this product to this product. So once I click right here, I can select other product. Alright, let's select this product and let's click Add products. Alright, so before we save this product, we can click preview one more time and let's see how it's going to look. Alright, as you can see, we have different color options. If we have an attribute and right here we just added another product. So this way we can upsell more products. So as you can see, if customer likes that product may be he is going to lag this product as well. So yeah, this is how our product is going to look. And once you have finished everything, you can click Save. And just like that, we add a new product. All right, let's go to our store and let's see how this product is going to look. So as you can see, I have two products right now. So basically that's it. That's all you need to know about adding products to your store. And as you saw it yourself, it's quite simple. 16. Sales Channels: Facebook, Instagram, Google Shopping ads: Alright, in this lesson, I will show you some of the sales channels. So let's go to menu and let's select sales channels. Overview, alright, as you can see right here, we have Facebook shop, Instagram shopping, Facebook Messenger right now I'm not going to show how to add Facebook Messenger because we will do this in integrations section right here. You can download the Xero app. Basically, you can use it to manage your products, orders inventor, and do similar offerings. And as you can see right here, we will be able to use Google shopping ads for our Zara website. This is very convenient because just with a few clicks, we will be able to run Google shopping ads. Later on, I will show you how it's done. All right, let's start with a Facebook shop. Once you connect your Facebook page, basically you will be able to promote your products, your Facebook audience. Alright, let's click learn more and let's click Connect Facebook page to continue and click OK. And next thing you have to select your page. So select your page, click Save as Sept terms and conditions. And once the product sync is complete, your Facebook audience basically will be able to purchase products directly on Facebook. So this is a great thing to have. Alright, let's go back to other channels. All right, let's go back and let's click other channels, and let's click cell on Instagram. The procedure of connecting your Instagram account basically is going to be the same as connecting your Facebook page. So you can click Connect Instagram and just click Connect account. Here you have to enter your Instagram login details. And just like that, you will connect your products catalog to Instagram store. Alright, since I don't have Instagram profile for this website, I will not be connecting Instagram, but this is where you can do it. And basically this is completely the same as connecting your Facebook page. All right, let's go back to the Dashboard and let's go to Google Shopping ads. So let's click Google Shopping. And at first right here you have to enable Google shopping ads, just click Enable. And since I have already enable the Google shopping ads, I can select manage. Alright, so as you can see here, this is how the dashboard of Google shopping ads is going to look. So here you can check the stats. You can create new campaigns. I also don't forget in my count section to add your information. So this is where you have to add your information. Just do that right here. Don't forget to click Update once you have done this. And from here you can go to Google Shopping ads. You can even try Google free listings. Basically, the procedure of adding Google shopping ads and Google free listings is going to be very similar. So let's start with Google shopping ads and all you have to do is just click New Shopping campaign. And here select the country where you want to promote your products. Once you have done this, just click continue to category, select the category. Continue, Glick, continued to campaign review. So basically this is how our products are going to look in Google Shopping campaign. So just like that, you can easily set up Google Shopping campaigns without knowing how to use Google Merchant Center and how to use Google ads or how to even connect your Google Merchant Center would Google ads. But for example, if you would like to run Google shopping ads manually, you can easily do that. All you have to do is just go back to Google Shopping ads. So for example, let's go back, let's select other channels, and let's go to Google Shopping. Alright, as you can see here, you can generate your product feed and use it with Google Merchant Center. This way you would run your Google shopping ads manually, but it's very convenient to have automated Google shopping ads, especially when you are just the beginner. So basically that's all about sales channels. As you saw it yourself. You can easily connect your products catalog to face bookshop, Instagram store, or you can even run automated Google shopping at. So that's all for this lesson. 17. Zyro Dashboard Walk-through: Alright, so in this lesson, I'll walk you through the dashboard. 0's show you some of the most important settings which we haven't done yet. So all right, let's start. So this is the Xero dashboard. You already know how you can access it. And let's start with the general setting stamp. And as you can see right here, we should change the title of our website. So to do this, click right here and click Rename. I'm just going to add the title and let's click save changes. Alright, so we just changed the title of the website and is again z. It says that this website is not yet published. So later on we're going to publish this website. First we have to do some adjustments. Alright, so the next thing which we could do is we could add a fab icon. So to do this, let's click right here. And if you're not sure what is a fab icon, you can see right here, this is that small icon which is displayed in a tab of your browser. So I'm just gonna upload my icon right there. You can see this is how it's going to look. And right here in preview section, you can see how it's going to, if everything's fine, click Save Changes. And from here we can go to domain section actually, right now we're not going to do any changes in domain section because for this I have another lesson. Let's go to integrations. So you had the same thing goes for integrations. I'll talk about all those tools in another lesson. And you already know what is online store. So basically right here, you can do adjustments to your store. This section is all about the online store, so you are already familiar with it subscription section. Let's click on it. So basically right here, you can check what is your current plan. If you want, you can cancel your plan and if you need to, you can upgrade your existing plan. So this is what this subscription section is meant for about SEO. I will talk in another lesson as well, and the same goes for warm submissions. So basically that's all I just wanted to show you around the 0 dashboards. So you would be a little bit more familiar with it and you would understand it better. 18. Setting up Custom Domain Name: In this lesson, I will show you how to add a domain name to your desire of apps hits. So let's go to domain section. And as you can see right here, we have two options. The first option we can connect a domain name which we already owned. So for example, maybe you have registered your domain name at GoDaddy or hosting or, or anywhere else. So in this case, you should use this option. And if you don't have a domain name yet, you can purchase one right here. So if you don't have a domain name, I highly recommend you to get one because with the domain name, your website is going to look way more professional, is gonna help for SEO. And of course it's good for branding. So in my case, I already own a domain name and hosting or so I'm going to use this option. And right here I'm just going to enter my domain name. Let's click Continue. All we have to do right now is just copy those to name servers and we will have to look into the place where we registered our domain name in my case is going to be hosting or.com and I will have to replace name servers with DOS to name servers. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Alright, so as you can see right now, I'm and hosting or.com and all I have to do right now is replace those two name servers with Xero name servers. So I'm just gonna paste them right here and I'm just gonna click Update. Alright, it says that name servers were updated successfully. So yeah, basically that's it. This is how you can easily point a domain name to your Zotero website. And it doesn't really matter where you have registered your domain name at because the procedure is going to be the same. Maybe you have to log into your account and look for DNS management settings. And there you will find your name server. So basically, all you have to do is just replace name servers. So once you have replaced your name servers, it can take up to 24 hours until this domain name starts pointing to our Zotero website. But usually it doesn't take so long and within a couple of hours everything should be okay. So lets click Verify connection. Let's go right here. All right, then does you can see it says connection not verified and it says that our connection should be verified within an hour. So just wait a little bit of time. And the after that click Verify connection and check if the domain name is already pointing to your Zotero website. Alright, after waiting some time, let's click Verify connection. Perfect. As you can see, the main aim is pointing to ours iro website. So basically that's all. This is how you can easily connect your existing domain name to Zotero website. 19. Optimizing Zyro Website for SEO: Alright, so in this lesson we will be talking about SEO. So let's go to SEO section. And as you probably already know, SEO stands for search engine optimization. So as you can see right here, we have all our pages and we have to optimize them. So for example, if I would click on our homepage, as you can see, this page is missing page title and page description. So you want to add page title and page description to each of your page. This way you'll have better chances to appear in higher position of Google search results. So you want your page title to be about 60 characters and you want your description to be around 160 characters. So I'm just going to add the page title and description for my homepage. As you can see, I just finished adding my meta title and meta description. So basically this is how it's going to look once you have finished during those changes, don't forget to click Save Changes. And just like that, you will have to update each page, which we have right here. I would say that you should focus on those pages, the mouse which have the biggest potential to bring you organic traffic. So obviously such pages could be homepage, terror, it spreads page About Us page, blog page and store page, contact us page might not be so important, but you shouldn't forget to optimize it as well. You are adding titles and descriptions. Don't forget to use as much space as possible. So the recommendation for title is to use about 60 characters and for description is to use about 160 characters. Because usually most of the search engines don't lead to display more characters and title and the description. So try to use as much space as possible because this way you will be able to catch your potential visitor's attention more. For example, if you would use only ten characters in your title and you would use, let's say, 60 characters in your description. It didn't look good in search results compared to its idle, which would use about 55 characters and the meta-description would have about 150 or 60 characters. So try to use as much space as possible in Google search results. This would be my number one tip for beginners. And don't forget to add meta title and description and product pages if you are planning to have an online store as well at both titles and descriptions for your blog posts. And don't forget to add all text for your images. So basically that's all for this lesson. 20. Integrating Google Analytics: In this lesson, I'll be talking about integration. So let's start with Google Analytics. So to be able to integrate Google Analytics to Euros iro website, you need to have an account. So let's go ahead and create your Google Analytics account. With this option, you will be able to see sales reports and all tracking information related to your e-commerce store. So let's go back to the dashboard of our Xero website and let's paste that ID. Alright, let's paste our tracking ID and let's click Save Changes. So just like that, we will be able to track all the data of our website. Once your account is ready, all you have to do is just copy this site ID. Let's go back to 0 Dashboard and paste it right here. Let's click save changes. Now let's go back to the dashboard of Roger. Let's click Verify installation and let's click verify. And as you can see how jar installation was a verified successfully. So now we can close this window and from here you can check out this tool yourself to see how it works to get a little bit more familiar with it. And as you can see, pixel works just fine. So now you can use this Facebook pixel for your Facebook ads. Integrating Messenger Live Chat: In this lesson, I will show you how to integrate messenger live chat to your Rosario websites. So basically your whiskers will be able to use Facebook Messenger to contact you. So to integrate Facebook Messenger to our Xero website, let's go to our Facebook page. So let's go to form submissions. And as you can see right here, we have two types of forms. So we have a contact form and we have subscribed form. So basically contact form is the same form which I used them in my contact us page. So we can click on this form. And once visitors send you a message using that form, they will be added to this list. And for example, as you can see right here, I did a desk and to find out what message it was, you have to select that email address and you'll have to click Export. This exported file can be open with Excel or Google sheets. So let's open this file. And as you can see here, you will see the message. You will see the last name, the first name, and the email address. So basically you can use this e-mail address to reply to that person. Alright, let's close it and let's go to other forms. So subscribe form is basically the same form which are included in my footer. So let's click View list. And as you can see right here, we have another similar looking list. Basically you can use this list for your email marketing campaigns. All you have to do is just select emails and you'll have to export them. And later on you will be able to use this list is send emails to your subscribers so you can use mail chimp, you can use Get Response or any other email marketing service.
