About This Class

In this class, you are going to learn how to duplicate an entire WordPress website and transfer all its data including databases, general settings, plugins, themes, content and widgets to another website.  We shall be using a free plugin called 'Duplicator' to do this.

The following steps shall be taken to achieve this:

  • Install and activate the duplicator plugin
  • Create a 'package' of the site we want to duplicate
  • Create an FTP account for the clone site
  • Create a database for the clone site
  • Transfer the package of the duplicated site to the clone site
  • Run the cloning process.
