Project Description

Accessorise two of your favourite outfits in your wardrobe!

Use the 8 essential style keys of how to accessorise the different necklines as a guideline for your project

You have two options for your project:

Option One:

Choose either a favourite casual/smart casual outfit OR a favourite formal/evening outfit to accessorise.

Option Two:

  1. Choose one of your favourite casual or smart casual outfits from your wardrobe to accessorise
  2. Choose a favourite formal or evening outfit from your wardrobe to accessorise.

For both options:

  • Take a full length, clear photograph of you wearing the outfit or alternativly use a flat lay image separately of your chosen outfits before accessorising

Tips for photographing: - Strike a pose with an uncluttered background and have light coming onto you but not behind you. If possible white soft lighting is best. Ideally get someone else to take the photo for you.

  • See an example of a flat lay image below:

Please note: If you are using a flat lay image, ensure you have a plain light background so we can see your finished project clearly.

  • Choose accessories that match the formality of your garments.
  • You need to choose at least 3 accessories for your outfit, which must include either earrings or a necklace and can also include any of the following:
  • Earrings
  • Necklace
  • Bracelets/bangles/cuffs
  • Rings
  • Handbag/clutch
  • Shoes
  • Hat or fascinator
  • Scarf
  • Belt

You can choose to use existing accessories you already own or purchase new ones to complete your oufit as long as your pieces meet some of the guidelines given in the 8 style keys and suit the neckline of your top or dress.

  1. Take a full-length, clear photo of your casual or smart casual outfit with your chosen accessories and upload here.
  2. Take a full-length, clear photo of your formal or evening outfit with your accessories and upload here to the project gallery.
  3. Name your projects (name)........'s  casual/smart casual look or formal/evening outfit
  4. Write a parapgraph on why you have chosen these accessories and what style keys they follow and what occasions you will wear these oufits on.

Now enjoy wearing your outfit, with confidence and flair!
