1. Introduction: Hey, my name is James Can Zanele and welcome to my course where I'm going to show you how to screen, share and record your iPhone to your computer. Now, this is something I wanted to know how to do personally for very long now, So this course is gonna be helpful for you. If you have anything on your phone that you want to get recorded to your computer, for example, it could be going through. Instagram could be using an application, maybe kind of like something like word swag or maybe an application. That's like a game you want to record that, perhaps for a to toil. There's plenty of different uses for it. And inside this course, I'm gonna show you a specific software that you can use that comes with a seven day free trial. So even if you don't want to purchase it, you can simply watch over my shoulder and I'll show you how I do it with a few real life examples. So with that being said, if you're looking to basically get whatever's on your phone onto your computer, go ahead and roll right now and I'll see you in the next video 2. Getting The Recording Software: Hey, it's James can zonal and it's also awesome. The heavy here. Thank you for signing up to this course where I'm going to show you how to basically screen , share and record anything from your phone. Pretty cool. Right? So to do this, you're going to need a nap, and it is 14 99 to purchase. However, you can actually test it out for free. It's for, I think, seven days, I believe with C Yes, seven day free trial. So regardless of the fact that you might have to purchase it, you can use this course and test it out for yourself just to see how much you like. And that's basically what I did. I tested it. I go home. This is pretty cool. It comes with a watermark. So I figured I liked it, and I bought it literally, like an hour or two later. But I did have some trouble with it, despite the fact they have kind of their through tutorials and whatnot. But aside from that, here's some features in case why you wanted to use it for something cool. See? Actually gonna have you go through this not a really big deal. But either way, pricing 14. 99 I recommend you trying a first just to get used to it. Then, of course, you can buy it. Only be 14 99 1 so on and so forth. But the reason I created this course is because for the longest time I have done a lot of products, had created a lot of products, and especially when it comes to anything with Facebook or especially Instagram Twitter, I never had the ability to kind of create a course and walk through Instagram because I couldn't really do it on my computer unless I got this fancy software and so on and so forth. So with this, it allows me to basically put up my iPhone and record anything I want. So it doesn't have to be instagram. It could literally be using an application. Could be doing gameplay. It could be whatever you want to do. It's really up to you. But either way, simple step and that this is a risk world. OK, interesting name dot com, Then reflector features Mac, or you can just go to air squirrels. Eventually, you should, you know, go upon reflector. So make sure. You at least try it out. Download it, set it up. Very easy to do whether you got Windows or Mac and I'll see you in the next video. 3. My Unique Setup: All right. So the first thing you're gonna want to do is obviously, you know, have your phone with you, have it right by you. And the cool thing about this reflector application software, whatever you want to call it is that it works through wireless. Okay, so the streaming is It's very quick in terms of what happens on your phone and when you see it compared to on your computer. So the first thing you want to do is basically you drag up on the bottom If you have an iPhone, if you have a different type of phone, I guess it might be a little different. But this is an iPhone. What you want to do, see where it shows air drop and then laptop. I believe it's normally airdrop. Not that. Okay, I'm gonna click on this, and what you would do here is you click on the iPhone tab, the whatever your laptop is, and then make sure mirroring is on. Okay, that's what's going to allow you to show basically what you're seeing here on the screen right now. Now, normally, as you can see, what you can do is hit the record button and then it's only going to record the screen here , and the back is going to be completely blank. What I actually like doing is instead I usually make this bigger so you can't see the record button. And then I basically, you know, Aiken video Castor video screen, share my background and the phone and talk into the microphone like I'm doing right now So you can do that with, um, screen cast thematic you can do with Can't Asia. You can do it with whatever you like. I find it's much easier that way because if you hit the record button, I haven't figured out how to actually record your screen and like the microphone at the same time. So that's what I recommend. But with that being said, I do recommend you get some kind of cool background. Okay, this wasn't my background before, but I used it just to kind of have the background look cooler. And I mean, you could make it pitch black if you want just my recommendation. So that's what I do for the set up. OK, so I'll get a nice desktop background. You can search Google for it, and then Of course, from there, I can, you know, use my iPhone if I want. And I record the screen that you're seeing, okay, The normal way to do it. If you don't want any audio, you just hit this record button right here. And then, you know, you can record that way. So I'm going to do that right now just so you can see what it looks like. Okay, Cool. Let's give it a few seconds. Sure. Okay. Now I'm gonna, as you can see, open it up. So that's normally what it's going to look like. Okay, that's not that. I mean, it's just a normal black background. You can do it like that if you want, but I haven't figured out how to do the audio with it. So that's why I recommend kind of doing it like I am now. You get a nice background, you could make it whatever you want and then just record the entire screen and make this a little bigger. I'm gonna drag it up for you in case of that record button isn't even there. All right, so it looks something like that. Justin example. And then from there you know you can record. You can talk and you can, you know, use the iPhone if you want, but whatever your phone is, right. So that's how you set it up. Basically, in the next video, I'm just gonna show an example of how kind of smooth it runs, so I'll see you there. 4. Live Example 1: Hey, it's James cantonal, and this is a live example of doing something a little bit differently. Now, what I did is actually take away the iPhone frame, and it's basically picked up any kind of game in the application store where you got to basically, you know, tell your phone to the side to use. And what happens is that it automatically changes using this application we have. And all I did was just move it up. So that record, but isn't there. But let me go ahead and, you know, just play this. Sure, sure. Let's go with crap. Oh, okay. Okay. Maybe we can't go with Crapo. Cool. I see. Yeah, sure Sounds good. Oh, wait, do this. I have no idea how to play this, but this is just a a a nice little ah, you know, example of how well this works. Okay, How do we turn? Oh, that's how apparently my pedal is always to the metal. You must be having so much fun watching this. It was kind of fun. Anyway, I'm not gonna bore you too much with this, But just to give you a good idea, there are multiple ways of you know, using this. And this is one of them we can kind of, you know, tilted to the right. Either way, I'm gonna crash right here, and Ah, Or in this video here, I'm going to do another example for you where you can actually see it in use with a nap. Okay, so see in the next video. 5. Live Example 2: Hayes James Cans in l. A. And this is a live overview of what normally one of the videos would look like if I was creating it. So what I'm going to do is actually kind of use an app just to show you how smooth it runs . And, you know, just some proof that it works well, right? So I'm going to create one of those little viral images using this text, app, text, photo up, whatever you want to call it. Let's just do water. I see. So do Instagram. I don't mind if I do looks perfect. Double tap. Get a random quote. See, looking for something That was a zig Ziglar. Who said that? Sure, that'll dio if you've ever used this sad before, it's really cool. And let's do this. Nope, This perfect. All right. Cool share and other and save image. Really cool. So it's a simple Is that, um yeah, sure. Why not? Don't allow us. We don't like you, but yeah, I mean, that's about as simple as it is. This was just basically alive Overview showing you obviously you can't see the time difference between me like hitting text tools and it's showing up on the screen, but it's literally is close to his instant as possible, right? So with that being said, I just want to show you how it goes. Thank you for watching my course. I'm James Cans Mela. Hope this help do a lot because I know for the longest time, I wanted to know how to do this. And since I finally figured it out, had to share it with this. So either way, once again, I'm James Kansan. Ella have great day. - Simple is that?
