1. Introduction: Hey, my name is James Kansan Ello and welcome to my course Roman issue. You had it quickly and easily resize images for multiple social media platforms. Pretty cool right now. The best part about this course, aside from the fact that's extremely sure it's extremely simple and very straight to the point, it's going to save you a ton of time in the future because you don't have to go out there and buy photo shop. You don't have to outsource any of this. You can basically take any picture that you have. Drop it into a specific site, and it's gonna automatically basically shrink it to a specific size, depending on what social media networks you want to use it. So if you have any type of social media accounts and you post on them a lottery, want to do that in the future? Go ahead and roll. Right now, it's going to save you a ton of time when it comes to doing that aspect, right? So aside from that, I'm James Kansan. Ella, thank you for watching. We'll see you in the next video 2. The Bigger The Better: Hey, it's James Canzler and welcome to the course. And before we begin, I just kind of want to give you a very important I that lesson or tutorial. A bit of advice, to say the least. And it's that whenever you have a photo, you want to make sure that it's basically as big as possible because let's say you have a photo and it's like 100 by 100 and you're looking to basically edit it around, so it fits a lot of different social media outlets. What's gonna happen, then, is that it's going to have to kind of blow up, and it's going to get pretty blurry and posting it is gonna be a waste because it's gonna look so bad. So the bigger the picture is in the beginning, the better it's going to look, and it's not gonna lose any of the effectiveness or the professionalism, depending on where you're getting your picture. Now, what I'm showing you here is actually a site called Unspool Ash. That's U. N s P. L. A s h dot com and what I did. A search for beach. As you can see, there's a lot of really great professional photos here. And these air great for social media, because what you can do is get any type of beautiful scenery. It could be a waterfall of beach and island. Could be a castle. It could be, ah, TV, whatever floats your boat. But either way, pictures like these make great for, like, quotes were you know, you kind of did in the background, like like it's doing right now. Then you have, you know, keep pushing forward. Never stop. You know something like that. That's motivational. So what I did, I just clicked on this, okay? And then I can go to download. As you can see, this picture is really big. Okay, this is obviously the magnified glass. And basically, what I'm going to do is use this picture throughout the course just to show you how it works. But either way, it just kind of giving you a heads up. Make sure the picture is bigger in the beginning. Otherwise you're gonna get some results that aren't going to be too good. So keep that in mind and I'll see you in the next video 3. The Easy Process: All right. So here we are. The website is called sprout social dot com, and once you go there, you're gonna want to type in landscape after, So basically it sprout social dot com slash landscape, just as you see right here. So what we're going to do is basically drop your images here, or you can upload them. Either way, I'm gonna drag it on in, and it's going to upload the image now, while you weren't looking like a little sneaky person, I am. I went ahead and I added my super inspirational quote there just to give you a good idea of what's up. So either way, which networks should we re size for? This is a really cool thing about this. Is that you can do a lot of them at once, So why not? I use Twitter. Hey, I used Facebook used instagram. I use YouTube and I'm not big on Google, plus Pinterest or linked in. And then there's custom. But either way, let's just go with these because they're very popular next. Okay, cool. Now what do we want for this? All right, we don't need a photo. I've already got my mug shot for that. All right, Header photo. Right. That could be cool. Let's do this. Okay. In stream, taller in stream wide. This is just kind of like a picture post. Let's do that. Okay, so we want these two. We highlighted them. As you can see, there's green around. It's good. Next. Okay, once again. Already got my mug shot. We don't need one of those. Let's do a cover photo and let's do a in a stream square next. Once again, this is for Instagram. Let's do this one and let's do this. One channel are Okay. Let's seal. It's to channeler. And let's to thumb now. Okay, Now, this is the cool part. All right, Well, let's see. Perfect. Next. If I was going to redo this, I probably would have put the get results little down lower just so I could have more of the beach. You know what I mean? But that works too. Okay, I don't know about you, but that looks pretty groovy. Okay, it's too Next, once again. Here we go. Next. Okay, this looks pretty awesome. Next once again looks awesome. Okay. Can't really move. That one looks good. And this is just up or down. Kind of in the middle. Ish. Next. Thumbnail. Sure. And download. Okay. Your images. They're downloading. Okay. It's gonna say start over. Now, why would anyone want to do that? Okay. Breather way. Once those download, I'm gonna open them up and all basically show you in the next video what we came up with, so I'll see you there. 4. The Results: All right. So here we are on the final video, and we as you can see in front of me, we have the results here. Pretty cool. They even name them for you. So you're not like which one goes where? As you can see Facebook, cover Facebook and stream I g and stream instagram and stream wide Twitter header Twitter and stream YouTube channel RN u two thumbnail. Know what I'm gonna do? It's gonna kind of load him in the Google Chrome's. You can see what they look like. Pretty cool, right? Get results. And let's go with Facebook in stream. Excuse me? A safe facebook and click on Instagram. All right, They're much bigger here, but when you basically load them to instagram, it's going to fit nicely. It's not going to blur. And you're gonna get a nice little photo, depending on what you've used. All right? Obviously, I'm sure you're not going to just put a picture of this that says get results that this was just for testing purposes. But either way, as you can see, that will do. Ah, this one. Okay. It's going to be bigger either way, when you upload it once again it's going to be that nice quality. And you don't have to worry about it being blurry or, you know, not fitting because they do all the dimension work for you, which is really cool. So, aside from that, I hope you enjoyed this course that extremely short. But it doesn't need to be any longer by going through this. If you use a lot of social networks like you, this is going to save you a ton of time because you create a picture once and then you can have it formatted toe all the spots you want to use. It's pretty simple, right? I don't need to make this any longer than it needs to be. So with that being said, I am James Cans and l hope you learned something new, feel free to use this as much as possible, and I'll see you soon. 5. Bonus: Done For You: hates James. Cancel and I'm back. He probably thought you're gonna get rid of me much easier, but just keep coming back. Hurry. Either way, once again, thanks for going through the course, and I kind of finished then and realized I probably a little more. This course is very simple. Can be very useful, obviously, but it's very easy to do. So what I want to do is actually kind of reach out. And, you know, if there was something you wanted to do specifically, basically, I want to do it for you. It was a way of saying thanks for taking a course. So what I decided to do is basically create kind of bikes. Could say quote, cool assignment. And it's gonna be for the 1st 10 people only. And all you got to do is first up is creative projects. Okay? It's all they got to do first. That created project Step number two. You basically got it. Just give me your favorite either motivational quo. It could be words of wisdom, Melican, essay or anything like maybe one, maybe two sentences, Max, depending on what nature in or what that you want to focus in So that's something with weight loss. It could be like a helpful tip. But either way, what I'm going to do is actually take that quote that you give me basically going to create a nice little picture. And it's usually going to be something probably maybe like a beach, or like a nice scenery in the background, because those are the types of photos that do really well on social media. And I'm going to use one of those kind of nice pictures and I'm gonna put your quote on. And once I'm done with that, when I'm going to do is run it through the course. I just got done finishing and basically created a nice little quote that you could post on Facebook. We're gonna do Twitter, and we're going to do instant. Okay, So with that being said, give me a quote. That's the second step. So first up creative Project has to create a project. Step two is going to be Give me one of your favorite quotes or one liners are tips. Okay, Make sure it's not that long. It has to found a picture, and what I'm going to do is find a nice picture that kind of goes with it and they basically create that and then I'll send you over the file. So we gotta do is save that and you'll be free to upload them to your Social media network . So I basically get to do the hard work for you just got uploaded and enjoy the results. So with that being said sounds pretty cool. You right? I know you're shaking your head up and down, so I'll stop the app in. All you have to do is create that project and look forward to talking to you soon.
