1. How To Eliminate Your Fear Of Selling (Without Being A Sell Out!): how to eliminate your fear of selling. In this course, I'm going to discuss a topic that a lot of online entrepreneurs face for one reason or the other. They are scared to sell, so maybe you have an email list. Maybe you have a social media following. Maybe you are a blogger, and maybe you feel like when you sell something that you're letting your subscribers down. A fear of selling is something that some of the best and smartest bloggers, teachers and marketers have encountered. I've personally seen it dozens of times, and I'm not trying to say that I'm immune to this because it's something I have experienced time and time again. So if you've ever experienced a fear of selling, then I'm going to try my best to change your mind while helping you to consider why selling not only benefits your end users, your readers, your subscribers and students tremendously, but it also makes it so. You can stay in business because, as you know, if you don't sell anything, then you risk going out of business. It doesn't matter if you are an online coach, a marketer, a blogger, an email marketer and author or even an online teacher. If you don't sell, you're probably going to go out of business. Every business needs to sell, so that's why I created this course. I want to share a few mindsets that have helped me tremendously. A few mind sets that I believe will change your mind so you can help yourself and help your readers, your students and your subscribers. So you can finally realize that selling is a good thing as long as you do it in a super cool way. Because if you never sell anything, what's going to happen? In my experience, you risk losing interest and what you're doing, and ultimately you're going to be letting your audience down. The Most Important Reason Why You NEED To Sell!: the most important reason why you need to sell this is not what you think. The funny part about selling is that you owe it to your audience. Because if you offer a valuable service, a valuable course, a valuable product or even valuable insight, then you really owe it to your audience to share it with them, because you can help to improve their lives one way or the other. So ask yourself this one vitally important question. Would your audience be better off if they had your service? Your course, your offers you're coaching, or would they be better off if they didn't have that? I honestly hope that the answer to that question is that they would be better off, because if they are better off what happens suddenly, selling becomes easy. It's your duty. It's your obligation because never forget this. There are inferior products out there. There are inferior vendors, inferior teachers, inferior service providers, inferior marketers. Despite this notion, these individuals will always be out there selling their stuff. The main point to this idea is that your audience loves you. They follow you for a reason, for one reason or the other, they trust you. They trust you to help them, so help them by sharing your content, your products, your services, your books and your solutions with them. If you can help them. And if you know that your stuff rocks, then you should be really worried about not sharing that content with them. You should never be worried about sharing that stuff. That's such a powerful mindset. It's enabled me to finally conquer my fear of sharing my courses of sharing my emails of sharing. My blog's off promoting my newsletters because I honestly believe that I want to help my students. So I bend over backwards to ensure that I'm always there when they need me. And I'm never going to turn my back on my students, just like I'm confident that you will never turn your back on your audience. Regardless of what business you're in. You can achieve the same exact confidence just by caring for your audience, produce awesome stuff and then selling becomes your obligation. Thanks so much for checking this out in the next lecture. Never Forget That Your Audience Follows You For A Reason!: never forget that your audience follows you for a reason. I've been an online entrepreneur for quite a while now. Naturally, I've had a ton of colleagues who I share my deepest thoughts and emotions with. I've bonded and made some of the best friends I could ever have as a blogger, as an email marketer, as an author and as a teacher. One thing I've noticed is that often times people underestimate their power, their reputation, their influence, their own authority, the goodwill, their report and their prestige. If you have any type of following be, it's on Twitter on Pinterest on instagram or skill share on You to me, if you have an email list or if you have a blawg. If you have any audience at all, the never take them for granted and never take your own authority for granted because they follow you for a reason. I don't know what that reason is. Maybe because you inspire your hope. Maybe you produce awesome content. Maybe they just know you like you and trust you. Whatever that reason is, they follow you because they want mawr. They can't get enough, so never neglect them. When you sell a product or service. Don't think of it like you're taking advantage. You're providing to your immortal Lee beloved audience what they desperately need. Mawr off, which is Maura View mawr of your awesome products services, teaching courses and solutions. Maura View. That's how you can slaughter your fear of teaching once and for all, because when you sell something, you're not being pushy. You're being super cool. You're giving your audience precisely what they want. You're not really selling your simply giving your audience what they have asked you for from the moment they started reading your stuff and following you. The very fact that they do follow you is indicated of the notion that they seek mawr from you. Homework: What Do You Really Owe Your Audience?: what you owe your audience. Never forget that the only thing that you really owe your audience, whatever niche urine, whatever industry you're in, whatever year it is, the only thing you owe your audience is to help them. It doesn't matter if you are a gourmet pastry chef who is trying to help an audience by providing delicious treats or, if you're an online instructor trying to help your audience by providing awesome insights and content. If you have a following any following, then you owe them your help. That's why you should never be afraid to sell because they're going to be helping them with whatever it is that you do. So really, there's only two prerequisites for conquering your fear of selling. The first is never promote junk. Okay, because that has to go with rule number two, which is always help your audience. If you promote to junk, then you know it Never. You are never going to be confidence about offering that. So how can you help your audience? What does your audience really want? I do ask that you submit a project for this course. Write down one thing that you owe your audience do you owe them in sight? Do you owe them entertainment? Or maybe you owe them something more specific. I'm not sure what type of relationship you have with your audience. Maybe you want to teach them, have to develop video games or how to draw dinosaurs. Maybe you owe them content that's entirely fictional in nature. So maybe you owe them entertainment. Whatever it is. Never forget that if your content services and products are good, you owe it to them to share that. Whatever it ISS. By selling that you're always giving precisely what they want. Therefore, you should never be afraid to sell. Quite the contrary. You should be elated and thrilled because you're giving your audience precisely that which they desire.
