Mary Kate is generous with sharing her entire process. Watching all of her detailed drawing is tedious and I did try to skip through some but she does pop out with good tips when drawing that you don't want to miss. I'm going to watch another class and I plan on doing this exercise. Thank you Mary Kate.
Great class by Mary! I needed to improve on my lettering and this video covered good and knowledgeable basics that have helped me be confident!
This was a great class! Mary Kate shows you how to go from sketching the outline of a word, to adding serifs and flourishes, to designing and inspiration, and finally inking. We get to see her draw, erase, and refine. Watching her drawing process this way was quite calming. There's no pressure to be perfect with your first line or idea. She shares many little tips throughout her process. I can't wait to take the next class in the series!
