Welcome to Guided Meditations - Finding Sanity in an Insane World.

Global climate change, catastrophic fires, pandemic viruses, accelerating technology that no one can keep up with, disconnection, isolation, depression, stress, that's all moving faster, and faster, and faster. This is our world. This is how we live. What are we supposed to do?

In this course, I'll be leading you into experiences that millions of people are so incredibly desperate for, namely, deep calm and inner peace.

Throughout this entire course, I'll be providing useful lecture material, contemplations, and deep guided meditations to help you relax, heal, and create a serene inner world.

Topics in this course will include:

  • The importance of learning how to enter states of DEEP RELAXATION.

  • How to utilize CONTEMPLATION to gain insight into creating a calm and healthy inner state.

  • THREE GUIDED MEDITATION TECHNIQUES to create inner peace, release negative subconscious emotional influences, and create positive new horizons.

Although there are no prerequisites for this course, some experience in meditation will be helpful. But more than anything, what you really need is a passionate desire to take action, to create a peaceful and sane inner world.

This course is very personal to me because I've been able to implement the tools presented here, to create a peaceful life, despite the seeming insanity in the state of global affairs. I hope this course will help you too.

This is our world. This is how we live. What are we supposed to do in this course? I'll be leading you into experiences that millions of people are so incredibly desperate for, namely deep calm and inner peace. Hello, I'm Joseph Drumheller. I've been working in the worlds of meditation and healing since 1991 and six of those years I spent working as a clinical hypnotherapist into cancer Radiation treatment Clinic. I'm also a four time award winning author, and I've helped thousands of people discover lasting inner tranquility. Intro: Hello and welcome to the introduction for guided meditations, finding sanity in an insane world. This course contains an assortment of lectures, contemplations, and meditation's to help you discover and create deep inner wellness and peace in these times of uncertainty. As you prepare to dive into the course, I'd like to make a few recommendations. First, make sure to watch the lectures that precede each meditation. They are valuable information and will help you maximize their effectiveness. And don't forget to use the verification sheet to help chart your progress. That will help your cognitive sense of awareness start to increase. Also, if it's possible find someone else or a group of people to take the course with. Connecting to other people is going to be a huge component to maintaining our emotional, mental, and spiritual health as we've forged into the ever-changing future. Also, don't hesitate to reach out to other students on this platform. They may be able to provide answers, insights, and encouragement that are just beyond your reach. Remember, they're interested in the same thing you are. Namely finding peace and improving the quality of life. In the course that follows, there are two short contemplations and 3 deeper meditations. All are designed to create the emotional and energetic framework to align your inner world into a state of peace. And that state of peace is going to be a necessary attribute to create a future of the world that we desire. So good, deep, and do the meditation regularly. Daily is ideal. So does have luck on the road to the best possible version of us all. I'll see you in class. 3. The Verification Sheet: Hello and welcome to the lecture on the verification sheet. The meditative work we're doing in this course can have a very powerful and positive effect on your subconscious mind. There's a cause and effect component to it. If your intention is to create peace and a grounded same state of mind. And then you put some effort into it. Chances are results will occur. Furthermore, as you work along with the contemplations and meditation's, you may notice that certain aspects of your life improve over and above what we actually worked on. These are referred to as side benefits. And they're very common in this type of work. For example, as you work along on the meditations, you may notice an increase in your creativity, a boost in your health, a windfall in your finances, or improvement in your relationships. So in order to increase your overall level of awareness, I've created a verification sheet. It's attached as a resource file. Download it and pull it out once a week while you're using the meditations and see if you can check off any of the boxes. If you can, it's a clear indication that what we're doing is actually working. So have some fun checking your progress and please enjoy using the verification sheet. 4. The Need for Deep Relaxation: Hello and welcome to the lecture on the need for deep relaxation. Deep relaxation is a crucial element in creating inner peace, which is the foundation for a healthy and sane mind. When you're deeply relaxed, the subconscious mind will open up. When that happens, you can essentially plant calm and peace into your subconscious. With repeated practice. Inner peace will eventually become a permanent fixture in your psyche. Also, any suppressed emotion that prevents inner peace from happening in your life that's been buried deep in your subconscious mind, can safely and effortlessly be released when you're deeply relaxed. Now, if you are of the notion that creating inner calm and peace is something you deeply desire in order to have a calm and peaceful and sane mind. And you think meditation may be the tool to assist you in achieving that goal. And it's absolutely imperative to learn and master the initial step, which is deep relaxation. So the first thing to understand is that going into a deeply relaxed state is a learned skill. So like anything else that's worth learning, it takes practice, it takes commitment, and it takes discipline. Now, with that said, let me remind you that the discipline of learning how to relax deeply is a very pleasant discipline. It feels wonderful. So setting time aside to do it is something you can look forward to. Now let's ask a few important questions about deep relaxation and meditation. The first one is, how often should I meditate? Which is an excellent question. And if you're just starting out, I highly recommend doing at least one meditation a day. Do it daily for most people, the most convenient times, R the first thing in the morning, or just before going to bed in the evening. So for example, I meditate every evening for about 15 minutes or so just before going to bed. Also, if you're starting out, I suggest using some type of guided meditation, audio or video, such as the meditations in this course. It's much easier when someone guide you through the process. Plus the results tend to be much more noticeable, insignificant, with the help of a guide. The next question I'd like to ask is, what are some of the benefits of meditation and deep relaxation? Well, recent scientific research over the past decade or so has illuminated numerous health benefits associated with regular meditation. Some of those benefits include one, regulating your heart rate and emotions to increasing emotional intelligence. 3, stimulating the immune system for increasing mental clarity. Five, stimulating creativity. Six, increasing the likelihood of experiencing happiness and well-being. And seven, slowing the aging process. And there's many more. Also, as I mentioned earlier, as you progress and develop in your own meditation practice, relaxation will start to become part of your subconscious. That means relaxation will become interwoven into the fabric of your being. When that happens, you'll be able to enter a relaxed state at will when you're in the shower, driving your car during breaks at work, or even in the middle of a challenging conversation. Another way to say it is learning to relax will reduce your overall level of stress. And that will be extremely beneficial as you embark on your road to sanity. Also, as you mastered the art of deep relaxation, the techniques offered in this course will become much more effective. In the following relaxation exercise, we'll be using a technique referred to as progressive relaxation. It's a simple guided meditation, directing you to relax your entire body. Uses meditation regularly and start opening your channels of deep relaxation. Okay, that's it for this lecture. I'll see you at the relaxation exercise. 5. Exercise - Progressive Relaxation: Hello and welcome to the meditation exercise entitled Progressive, Relax, ation. So what we're gonna do in this exercise is simply relax your entire body so you can begin to learn the art of deep relaxation. So get yourself situated in a nice, comfortable position with your spine straight. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and will begin to relax. So as you begin the process of relax, ation, what I would ask you to do is to imagine, or to feel this beam of warm and peaceful. Relax ation coming down from above and entering the top of your head and feel the relax ation as it begins to penetrate into your brain. So the cells of your brain become very deeply relaxed to become more and more at peace, and you can actually feel your thoughts as they begin to slow down, take another deep breath and allow this relaxation to continue its journey by drifting down into the stem of your brain. You can actually feel it drifting down your spine, slowly moving and opening the energy centers along your spine as it goes so that you can feel this relax ation drifting all the way down to the tip of your spine. So as you continue to breathe and to relax, allow this. Relax ation to move out from your spine and into your nerves so that the relax ation drifts all the way out to the very end of your nervous system. So you're very deeply relaxed, very calm and totally piece. Now bring the awareness of this. Relax ation back to the top of your head and allow the relax ation to begin to drift over the outside of your head so it moves into your scalp in your hair, gently moving into your forehead and your temples, relaxing your ears and the skin on your face so that your eyes become very deeply relaxed and very peaceful. And you could feel the relax ation in your eyebrows, your nose, your cheeks and into the muscles of your face so that your job becomes incredibly heavy on very deeply relaxed. And you can feel the relax ation as it drifts into your lips into your teeth and into your time so that your entire head it's very deeply relaxed, very calm and totally at peace now allow this relaxation to continue by moving down into your neck and into your throat so the muscles of your neck become very relaxed and you can swallow without effort. As this relaxation drifts down into your shoulders, which are becoming increasingly heavy, you can allow this relaxation to move down into your arms as they become heavier and heavier and heavier as the relax ation moves into your biceps and triceps, swirling and moving into your elbows, your forearms out into your hands to the tip of each finger, and each time, so that from the top of your head all the way down to the tips of your fingers, your very calm, your deeply relaxed and you're very much a piece now. Allow your attention to rest again on your shoulders, which are very relaxed and very heavy so that you can feel this. Relax ation moving down your back. This it moves into the muscles of your back as they relax, and any tension in your back starts to dissolve as the relax ations all the way down into your lower back so that your entire back is very comfortable and deeply relaxed. Now allow this relax ation in your back to drift into your torso in your upper body so you can actually feel it moving into the organs of your upper body, especially your heart, which beats in perfect peace and harmony. And you could feel the relax ation as it drifts out into your lungs and to the center of your breath, and you can feel the relax ation continuing was. It moves into your stomach and your liver, your intestines and all of your other internal organs. But you're very deeply relaxed and functioning in perfect harmony with one another as your entire upper body sinks deeper and deeper and deeper into a state of perfect, an absolute peace. Now allow this relaxation to continue its journey by drifting down into the lower half of your body so that your legs begin to become very heavy and very deeply relaxed. As the relax ation gently moves into your Quander steps, your hamstrings, your thighs has your legs become heavy here and heavier and heavier so you could feel the relax ation moving into your knees and into your shins and your calves. As your legs become increasingly heavy and you feel the relax ation moving down into your ankles and into your feet so it drifts out to the very end of your toes so that from the top of your head way out to the tips of your toes, you're very deeply relaxed. You're very calm and you're totally at peace. And I'd like you to take just a few moments to continue to relax and to breathe and to enjoy this feeling of incredibly deep peace. 6. How to Use the Contemplations: Hello and welcome to the lecture entitled How to Use the Contemplacion's. The exercise is following this lecture our contemplations to help you see and hopefully experience deep peace and calm from a new perspective. Hopefully, it will help you reflect and perhaps shift your perception on how you live your life. However, the contemplations differ slightly from the meditations, so allow me to explain. First off the contemplations congee done with your eyes open or closed, whichever is most important for you. Then the contemplations will lead you through a series of deep questions to help gain meaningful insight into your situation. Please keep in mind that the questions are not designed for you to think and rationally figure out solutions to your problems. Instead, their enquiries thrown out to the universe in a state of calm. When your mind is relaxed, wisdom will provide the answers and insights you may not have considered before. You may have insights of clarity or intuition, perceptions known as ah ha moments. Or perhaps it may trigger healing sensations of energy in your body, but no matter what happens, your job will be to relax, pay attention and allow the process to unfold. If you do experience moments of insight, awareness or healing, then it's a clear indication that the contemplation is a technique that works for you. And if that's the case, please keep using it regularly. Then, once you've mastered the contemplations, you'll be primed and ready for deeper meditations that follow in this course. Okay, that's it for the brief discussion on contemplations. Let's go there now and open ourselves up to some wisdom. I'll see you there. 7. Contemplation - Shifting Perspective: Let's start by slowing down the mind, take a few deep slow breaths until you feel completely relaxed. - Take just a moment to be aware of your feelings or sensations that may be contrary to the feelings of peace and calm and gently focus your attention there for just a few moments. - What would it be like if you could observe those inhibiting feelings with an observant and curious mind to allow yourself to become detached from those feelings to allow them to dissolve? No. What would it be like if your feelings of stress or anxiety were not yours but on Lee, something you absorb from someone else with that influence? The way you see yourself, - what would it be like if your personal truth waas You are perfect as you are, regardless of the perceived imperfections of yourself? - What if you could see the world from a very peaceful bird's eye view far above the surface of earth? You. How would that alter your view of the circumstances that now face us all? No, uh, way 8. Influences from Conditioning: hello and welcome to the lecture on influences from conditioning. Conditioning is one of the most significant influences in shaping everyone's perception and experience of reality. It plays strongly on our need to belong. And if the values playing on that need aren't aligned with higher virtues of living in the entire world can seem like it's going crazy. So let's ask ourselves a few questions. What is it that's important in life? What is it we value? Is it the obsessive pursuit of wealth and material possessions? Is it the addiction to create faster and more complex technology? Is it the reckless desire for power at the expense of all else? Now let's take a deeper look at the same question and asked something a little deeper. Why is it we even feel or think? These things are so important to the point where it pulls humanity out of balance to the point of threatening our survival? What is it that causes us to have such deep and distressing inner conflict? I'll tell you in one word. It's called conditioning, and it's influences are huge and shaping our perceptions of ourselves in the context of the world in which we live. So if you can negotiate and overcome the hurdles of conditioning, your road to creating a state of inner peace will be significantly easier. It's one load you won't have to carry. So let's ask another question. What is conditioning? Well, conditioning is received input through thought, word and action that influences your behavior. For most of us, it happens in the subconscious mind when we're quite young. That's what that means is we don't know where conditioned. We simply accept the ideals and beliefs that have been placed upon us from somewhere in the insane outside world. Well, where does condition and come from that? Well, we usually don't have to look very far. For most of us, it starts in our own immediate families. Like the young Children in the family who constantly heard of their cousin Chloe. She was rich and famous and garnered all the family's positive praise and attention. But second cousin Steve was a poor ranch hand and the butt of family jokes and was commonly referred to as a dirt farmer behind his back. It's family attitudes like these that can create a child view of the world and how the world is supposed to be. However, conditioning isn't just limited to our immediate families. You can probably think of numerous influences from your culture, schools, religions and peer groups who measures up to conform to a certain way of being and looking . And sometimes that measuring up can be quite ruthless. And most strongly of all, conditioning is bombarded on all of us from the media, beginning from the time before we're even born TV magazines and the Internet all reinforced over and over and over again that we need to be young, rich, beautiful, sexy and skinny in order to be important and happy. Furthermore, we've all seen how negative and vicious social media can be a times, and when you're young and trying to belong and to fit in that type of negative influence can have a severe impact on what you think and feel about yourself. So what is the result of all this conditioning? Well, first and foremost, conditioning trains us to compare ourselves with perceived ideals that others supposedly uphold. Remember, we're supposed to look and act like cousin Chloe from their comparison creates inner conflict because none of us can look to the ideals were conditioned to, and once we've created inner conflict, were positioned to live a life filled with stress and suffering. And those stresses can push us relentlessly into depression, self hatred, eating disorders and even suicide, because it's simply not possible to be someone else, although that's who were trained to be. And that pressure of conditioning can drive the entire world math. So one of the first steps and creating inner peace will be to unwind the entanglements of conditioning through deep reflection, contemplation and meditation. We'll create a frame of mind rooted in self love, peace and acceptance, regardless of your current view of the world. So if you can accept yourself as you are in this moment, then you begin the process of creating a deep and meaningful relationship with yourself. From there, the process of intercom will begin to flow. Okay, that's it for this lecture. Let's keep moving and strengthen the process of realizing the perfect You. I'll see you there 9. Contemplation - Conditioning: thank you for joining me today on this brief, soulful journey. Let's start by relaxing very deeply. Take a few deep slow breaths until your mind is very calm. - Take just a moment to do a personal inventory. Scan yourself for any emotions or feelings caused by comparison. We're trying to or not fit in. Where do you feel them in your body? You are any of those stressful sensations the result of thinking you need to accept off balance asylum values such as greed, accelerating technology or the desire for position and power? What would it be like if your feelings of stress or anxiety we're not actually yours, but on Lee, something someone else gave to you like your family, your culture, religion, schools, pure groups for the media. Now take a moment to imagine that you came from a perfect family, society, country and world that valued you and accepted you exactly as you are. How would that make you feel? Imagine for just a moment, your version of a perfect future. How would you feel to know your mind? Responds to such visualizations? Notice how your future has changed? No 10. Detachment Equals Peace: Hello and welcome to the lecture entitled Detachment Equals Peace. The meditation following this lecture is a very simple guided meditation that can be a great starting technique to create a lasting sense of inner calm and peace. As you will find, it cultivates a certain level of necessary detachment between you and any internal emotional disturbance caused by external circumstances. As you sink into the meditation, you'll realize that whatever internal disturbances you may have is on Lee on emotion you're experiencing. So, in other words, your stress or your inner conflict is not you. It's on Lee. Something that's happening to you, as you will experience this creates a beneficial space between you and the emotion, a very helpful gap that enhances the process of letting the disturbance go completely. Please keep in mind that creating an internal sense of emotional attachment does not mean that you won't engage in your life fully. In fact, just the opposite is true because you'll be able to engage fully in the present moment. However, you won't be burdened with emotional disturbances that may have come from somewhere in your past or an imagined future. So here's what we'll be doing in the following meditation. First, we'll start with a clear cut intention of creating lasting inner peace. Daniel, sit or lie in a comfortable position. After that, I'll guide you into a deeply relaxed state. And then, when you're deeply relaxed, we'll have you become aware of any emotional stir. Any emotional disturbance that is not in alignment with inner peace. Then, well, have you noticed where you feel that disturbance in your body? It may be in your head, your heart, your stomach or wherever. And if you get bombarded with mind chatter or distracting thoughts, just let them come in and let them go, like watching clouds drifting by in this guy. Next, you'll simply pay attention to the disturbance as you experience it and be curious, so something to yourself like, Oh, isn't that interesting? I'm feeling stress in my head. How curious. And then, as you focus on the experience with observation and detachment, you'll begin to feel a weakening, a softening and a letting go of the emotion. Then, at that point, will direct the emotion to release. You may feel it as it begins to spin or swirl or move out of your body it may start to dissolve or let go. It may creates interesting sensations in your body, like tingling or warmth or deep peace. But whatever happens, keep your focus on what's taking place. Don't wallow in the emotion, but stay with it until it's gone. Then when it's all gone, all that will be left is deep peace. So that's it. It's very easy. All you have to do is relax and pay attention, and I'll do the rest. Okay, let's go to the meditation now and be curious about creating a deep and lasting peace. I'll see you there. 11. Meditation - Detachment: hello and welcome to our next meditation. What I would like you to do before we begin is to take just a personal inventory and to scan your body for just a moment and to pay attention to any feelings or sensations that you have in your body that are not in alignment with calm in peace. Stressor, anxiety. Just pay attention to where you feel it in your body, and then you can let it go, and we'll come back to it later in the meditation. So I get started. I'd like you to do is to take a deep breath, close your eyes, get yourself situated so your spine is straight in your very comfortable and will begin to relax. So I know. But sometimes it can be difficult to relax or to learn how to relax more than you ever have before. And so, as you sit there, or as you lie there with your eyes closed and begin to become aware of your own thoughts and of your own sensations, I begin to wonder if you have ever had the pleasure of sitting on the bank of a river or the shore of a lake or a notion because there is something very comforting about just sitting there listening to the peaceful sound of the waves as they move in. And as they move out in a continuous flow that just seems to go on and on head on, relaxing in the sun, feeling the soothing warmth and just letting the mind drift effortlessly with that quiet, almost silent sound in the background of awareness. I'm not sure you've ever done it that way before relaxed in just that way, way listening to the peaceful quietness of water washing on the shore. Or perhaps it was a waterfall or just a silent place in the center of the woods. Ah, happy memory of deep contentment. Or maybe it was just a dream of a place so comfortable and a place so safe that it was easy to allow the body to relax everything to relax. Deep calm, relax, ation calm, peaceful, relaxed, called peaceful, relaxed. And as you continue to breathe and to relax, I'd like you to feel your emotions of interest that we talked about earlier, inside and maybe outside of your body. Allow your attention to gently rest there and focus on those feelings without judgment, without analysis, without criticism. And if those feelings don't come up readily, that's okay. Just pretend that you can feel. And if any distracting thoughts come up, let them drift through like clouds floating by in the sky. Your only job is to relax, to be called and to remain in deep, serene peace. Now bring your awareness back to your emotions of interest and simply pay attention as you experience those feelings. Be curious. Say to yourself something like, Oh, isn't that interesting? Right? Feeling inside or stress or depression wherever it is you're feeling in your body and say How curious? Fascinating. And as you focus on that experience without effort, you will begin to feel a weakening softening or a letting go of the feeling it may begin to spin to swirl or to move out of your body. Yeah, it may start to dissolve or to let go as you become more and more curiously interested and detached. You may also notice interesting sensations in your body, like tingling or worked or very deep peace. But whatever happens gently keep your focus on what's taking place. Don't wallow in the emotion, but relax and stay with it until it's gone. So stay with the experience for a few moments in silence. You don't have to do anything except relax and allow your curious mind to do all the work for you. - So as you continue to breathe and to relax, unwind and let go, you can take this experience with you into your future, to release any emotions permanently that need to be released. And as you continue to rest and relax, and when you feel like you're ready, there's absolutely no hurry. So take your time. But when you feel like you've had enough, you can slowly open your eyes and drift back in to the conscious world, - yeah . 12. Subconscious Emotional Influences: hello and welcome to the lecture on subconscious emotional influences. In this lecture, I'll be focusing on underlying negative emotional influences that live in the subconscious mind. They may be a very powerful and significant contributor to your experience that the world is less than sane. So one question, I'd like to ask is, where do subconscious emotional influences come from? Well, the simple answer to that question is negative. Subconscious influences come from trauma based in the past, and that past isn't necessary limited to your personal past but may also include the past of your ancestry and humanity at large. However, to understand the concept more fully, it's important to understand the nature of emotion. There are four main points to understand. First, we must recognize emotions are born to be experienced. Human beings are designed for growth and experience of life to its fullest. Now that includes all of our emotions. Includes pain, jealousy, anger, enthusiasm, joy, contentment, etcetera, etcetera. All of them are part of the human experience, So look at a small child who drops its ice cream cone on the sidewalk. A few moments of intense agony are almost guaranteed, however, in a few minutes after the emotion has been experienced and the tears air dry, the child is back to experiencing life. In the moment when emotions are experienced fully, they dissipate. The problem arises is when we avoid experiencing unpleasant emotions. We essentially put them in the closet to re emerge at a later date, and they do, sometimes with the bigger the same holds true for all of humanity. No one wants to feel disruptive emotions. I know I don't, and I'm sure you don't. And if you're like me, you'll do anything to avoid it. In fact, avoiding unpleasant emotions is a natural response that everyone does. So our second point to understand is in regard to emotion is that unexperienced emotions get suppressed into the subconscious mind without conscious knowledge or intention on our part. What that means is we don't know we're doing it. When that happens, they get stuck inside of us, and in layman's terms, it's commonly referred to as stuffing your emotions. And for most of us, this happens when we're very young. Our third point to know it is suppressed. Emotions create repeating patterns of pain, so on emotion from the past get trapped inside of us inside of our con subconscious mind. They'll continue to recreate uncomfortable circumstances so they can eventually be experienced. Emotions want to live out their life cycle. However, if we keep stuffing them down, repeating patterns will begin toe evolve and they can last a lifetime. And if everyone is doing this without awareness, it can seem like the entire world is going mad. Our fourth and final point to know it is that subconscious emotional influences are your creation now, even though, and they may have been created long ago and difficult or even abusive interactions with someone else. The emotions living inside you now are yours and yours alone. It may seem unfair, but that's how it works for everyone. Therefore, past painful emotions are never about someone else. You can't blame anyone else for your problems. They are your creation and your experience on Lee. Other people who trigger your unresolved emotions are only props in your one person drama. So in order to create a state of inner peace, you must claim responsibility for your own emotional states and deal with them accordingly . So let's briefly recap this lecture Number one subconscious emotional influences can underlie the experience that the world has gone insane. Number two subconscious emotional influences can get trapped inside of us very commonly. When we're young. Number three these trapped emotions can cause repeating patterns of pain. And number four so conscious emotional disturbances are yours to deal with and yours alone and they're in lies your road to inner peace. So that's it for this lecture on subconscious emotional influences. Now let's keep moving on to the next lecture and I'll see you there. 13. Meditation - Releasing Unwanted Influences: hello and welcome to the meditation on releasing unwanted influences. So take a deep breath, maybe close your eyes, begin to relax and scan yourself for any emotion or any sensation that inhibits the feelings of peace and calm and maybe stress, anxiety, depression or whatever, especially anything that's contributed by, um, the seemingly insanity of the world in which we live in. Pay attention to where you feel those sensations of those emotions in your body and just let him go on. We'll come back and visit them a little bit later in the meditation for this meditation, a little bit deeper than the last one. So go ahead and take another deep breath and begin to relax. Let go of any worries and concerns of the day. Just leave them on the other side of your door and as you breathe again, allow your body to become very heavy. Very heavy. Your body is so heavy it seems like it's not even there at all. And as you continue to gently breathe, I'd like you to imagine yourself in a very relaxing and peaceful forests. And before you in this forest is a magical trail. It leads through the woods and you can see in the distance. The trail winds its way down into a beautiful meadow, so you follow the trail as the take you into relaxation more and more deeply with each effortless step, and soon you find yourself on the edge of a glorious meadow. The sun is shining and the weather is perfect, which makes you even more and more relaxed and indeed piece. You walk out into the meadow and lie in the soothing and comforting green, and as you look above you see clouds drifting by sinking you into a deeper and deeper state of calm and effortless piece. So he becomes so incredibly, deeply relaxed effortlessly a piece, and it feels very nice. And to help you drift down even into a deeper state of peaceful relaxation, I'm going to count backwards from seven, using the words down and deeper to help you drift into an even deeper state of calm relaxation. So number seven feel yourself going down, down, drifting deeper and deeper. Six Drifting down, down, drifting deeper and deeper. Five Drifting down, down deeper and deeper. Four drifting down, down deeper and deeper. Three drifting down, down deeper and deeper and to drifting down, down deeper and deeper and one drifting down, down, down, deeper and deeper and deeper. And as you continue to breathe, and as you continue to relax, I'd like you to feel and be aware of your emotions of interest that we talked about earlier . Hey, maybe inside of your body, or perhaps even outside of your body. And when you identified the emotion, I want you to imagine yourself going back in time to the very first time you experienced it . And if nothing comes immediately, you can just pretend. And when you get there, I want you to be there as if you were actually there in the past, no matter what hate you are, no matter what's happening, even if it seems unusual. And as you continue to breathe and to relax and live in that experience completely, I want you to ask yourself this question. Is this feeling I have a new feeling? Yeah, or a familiar feeling I felt before and just trust your answer. If the answer is I felt this feeling before then, we're going to continue to drift back in time to the very first time when you experienced it, and I want you to repeat this process until the answer is This feeling is new, so it will be the first time you ever experienced it. Take a few moments and just go there. Now you may end up somewhere you never expected, like in your crib or your mother's womb or some place that makes no sense. Don't worry about the details. Just trust the process. Now, as you continue to be fully present in that moment, I want you to simply release your unwanted feelings into the past. They may lift up and out of your body. They may dissolve completely. They may explode into fireworks and color, or they may transform into something incredibly positive. But whatever happens, keep your focus on what's taking place. Don't swallow in the emotion, but relax and stay with it until it's gone. So stay with this experience for a few moments in silence and do nothing as deeply as possible and allow the process to do all the work for you releasing emotion into the past. - All right, so just continue to breathe, to relax and to allow the process to continue working. If it's not completely finished, it can work itself out in time and to realize that the healing that has begun here is a permanent part of your psyche designed to improve and to enhance every aspect of your life . Just continue to breathe into relax. There's absolutely no hurry when you feel like you're done. What you feel like you've had enough. You can slowly open your eyes and gently drift back in to the conscious world. 14. New Horizons: hello and welcome to the lecture entitled New Horizons. A friend of mine once told me, There are two kinds of people in the world those who said I can and those who say I can't and you know what? They're both right. The events in our lives, our outward projections of what lives in our subconscious minds as within so without that includes our thoughts, feelings, perceptions and beliefs. We are who we think, feel and believe we are that goes for the good and the not so good. So if that's actually so, then that raises the question. Can we intentionally put thoughts, feelings, perceptions and beliefs into our subconscious mind to create our future? And the answer? That question is absolutely in spiritual circles. It's called manifesting. Manifesting is a technique that utilizes the creative force of the subconscious mind. By directing it into the future. Anything is possible. The only limitation is, Is that what you can imagine? It's like applying a meditation healing technique to the future, and it could be applied to almost anything healing sports, technical skills, physical abilities, relationships, finances, health and a life that is healthy. Insane. However, it is possible that during the manifesting process that roadblocks can come up and they may show up in the form of subconscious emotional interferences that we talked about in a previous lecture. If that happens, then you've already learned how to dispatch thes and you've learned what to do, so you can return to that meditation at any time. So here's how the following meditation will work. First, I'll guide you into a deeply relaxed state. Next, you'll create a highly energized state but connecting to the higher aspects of yourself. Then you'll focus your attention on what you want. Your healthy and sane future to look like, including emotional states, lifestyle, relationships, finances or whatever. Next, you'll go into the experience of your future life as if you are actually there, and as this as if you already have it. Then you'll remain in that experience and continue to feel and visualize your future with the feeling of absolute confidence, and we're gonna let that feeling of knowingness so deeply into your body into your mind and into your soul. Then, after the meditation is over, you could forget about it and go about your business of making it happen. Such as meeting new people or getting involved in meaningful new activities. And don't forget to watch out for synchronicity, ease and spiritually flow. Those are great indicators that the meditation is actually working. Okay, that's it. Sounds easy enough. So let's go to the meditation now and visualize your new horizons. I'll see you there. 15. Meditation - New Horizons: So go ahead and get yourself situated in a nice, comfortable position. Close your eyes and will begin to relax. So let's start by taking a deep breath, letting it all go. And then I'd like you to also take a moment to visualize a goal that you deeply desire. Whatever it ISS a way of being a way of feeling, way of acting awaited like your circumstances. To be for your health, to be for your relationships, to be for your finances, to be for your body to be and just breathe and in your mind's eye and in your minds heart. I want you to imagine the desired future as you continue to breathe. Time to relax and I'd like to ask the question to you. What would it be like if what we thought and what we felt about ourselves had a direct influence on what happens in our future? Think about it. Just what would that be like as you continue to breathe and as you continue to relax and as you continue to relax more and more deeply with that thought in your mind, if we knew that the truth waas that our thoughts and our feelings created our future. What would you do today to make your future the way you want it? Would you have to change your thoughts? Would you want to change your feelings? Just continue to breathe and to relax. Let go as deeply as you can feel as we open a mystical doorway to where you want to be as you breathe and as you relax, breathing and relaxing. No one excellent way that I've heard where people can actually create their future is by first. They need to sink into a very deeply relaxed state to allow themselves to go very deeply to be very calm and to allow the barriers of resistance to melt away, to allow our fears and our attachments to the past to melt away. As we relax more deeply as we let go of our barriers let go of our resistance, we could be begin to become aware of 1/3 party presence. A vibration of light that's beyond the restrictions of time and space were the experience and the thoughts in the sensations of me being different from you begins to dissolve. We relax and we dissolve into this oneness. This field of consciousness where there is no barriers between me and what is not where the physical in the abstract all merge into one into this incredible vibration of feeling and lights of this universal presence that connects us all. And as you continue to relax and to unwind and to be that incredible presence now I would like you to imagine and to feel what it is you're truly desire, the goal you want to achieve and to place it into this universal field of light, a vibration of oneness, of unconditional love. And to ally yourself to imagine being in that future what you so deeply desire as if you were actually there right now in this incredible presence, having achieved already what it is you desire and allowing this sensation, this experience in this question of what would achieving my goals, I feel like, look like be like way and to allow this experience of being in that future as if you were there right now puts an indelible stamp, an imprint into your subconscious. And now your subconscious mind knows what it needs to do to bring to you what you so deeply desire. So allow yourself to relax and to sink into that experience as deeply as you can feel in your body, in your mind and in your soul. In this incredible, vast feel of oneness, I think it all in drink it up and to allow it to begin part of who you are to integrate into your being and to become one with the fabric of your existence. No. Does you think more deeply into that experience? I want you to allow yourself to bring that future inside of your body and to let it to dissolve into you to become one with you to thank this expensive energy of consciousness. Thank yourself for this moment of awareness. This glimpse into your future the unshakable knowing that this is who you are. No, to continue to breathe and to unwind. Take it all in anyone and when you feel like you're finished, you feel like I don't know and slowly open your eyes gently drift back into the waking or your future awaits no more, you know. Okay, 16.
