About This Class

You've got the required skills to do ______ job, you've done your time at ______ company, and now you're ready to set out on your own as a freelancer. Oh to live the leisurely life as a freelancer - they get to sleep in, work in their pajamas, take long walks in the sunshine, nap, eat ice cream for breakfast...While some of this is true, freelancers face a pretty big challenge: finding and growing a client base in order to maintain a steady stream of work. Freelancing doesn't offer much when it comes to job stability, so you need to know how to find the right people who will buy your services.

This course is packed with strategies to do so. I will show you a great deal of techniques for finding clients. We will then analyze them so that you can understand which one fits you. Some are more out there or abstract and some might seem like common sense. Some might work very well for you and some might not. I encourage you to try at least one strategy, then another, and another. Soon you'll be in the right mindset to come up with some that are entirely your own.

What you'll learn

  • Utilize 11 different strategies to find and attract potential clients
  • Use uncommon techniques to grow your client base faster
  • Keep client retention rates high and minimize churn
  • Use advanced best practices to maintain your businesses growth

What you'll do:

I want you to pick a strategy and go for it. Then share your experience in the Project Gallery. Hopefully, you'll learn from each other, bounce ideas back and forth, and so on.
