1. Introductory To Course: My name is Robin Haney and welcome to my course on school share. In this course, you're going to learn how to make a gluten free chicken fettuccini. Alfredo, this is a great tasting of us. What recipe That pretty much tastes just like a traditional fettuccini Alfredo. Except that we're kind of omitting like the dairy and all the bad stuff. And what's best of all is this gluten free? So if that sounds like something you would enjoy considering rolling in this course and I'll show you how to make this recipe and it's super easy, it's quick and it tastes amazing. 2. What you will need for this recipe: all right. So before we can get started making a recipe here, let's quickly go over some of the ingredients that we're gonna be using and just discussed the stress to be a little bit. So, first of all, you'll notice that it's gluten free. So we're omitting gluten and stress speech. So we're gonna have to use rice noodles in our case. And I got some here sexually, Linguini, you can use fettuccini linguini. Really any kind of noodle you want. Just make sure that it's gluten free. And if you guys have a health food story, you can go to like, you can even get gluten free noodles that most grocery stores nowadays. Um, like I said, try a rice noodle with something like that usually works pretty good. The next thing we're gonna use is some nutritional yeast here, and I don't have the bag for it. But I just haven't in a Mason jar. And it's really the key to this recipe because nutritional yeast can. It gives this recipe that creamy kind of cheesy taste. And since we're not using dairy, it's gonna help with that as well. And we're gonna also be using some coconut milk here, I got some unsweetened coconut milk. We're using that to again. That kind of milky creamy can a taste and it works really, really good. Surprisingly, And we also have some garlic use a little bit of garlic and we're gonna be using chicken broth so you can also use a like a vegetable broth dressing like that as well. And the last thing that we're using its chicken. We're gonna be using one chicken breast, but you can omit the chicken breast. If you're vegetarian, you don't have to use it. But that's pretty much a basic rundown of what you need for this recipe were also used Salt , pepper. I'm also going to use a list like rust being ingredients list that you guys can also check out just for a quick reference as you're making this recipe. So it's pretty much all we need. And once you get all this stuff together, we can We're going to actually prepping and cooking the recipe 3. Prepping The Chicken: So it's now time to start cooking our chicken for a recipe here. The first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to stick some butter on a pan instead, the temperature to about medium and ah, well, let that butter melts. And then after that butter melts, we can actually stick the chicken on top of the pan. So I'm just gonna get my special here. And if you guys don't want to use butter, he can use coconut oil or something like that as well. But in this case, we're just gonna use butter either or works good in our situation here. All right, sir, Butter is pretty much melted here in our pen is nice and coded. Now it's time to go grab our chicken and we'll toss it on top of her plan. I'm just gonna be using one about medium sized chicken breast for this recipe. You can use a smaller big one, Um, or if you're don't want, you can just omit the chicken as well. If you're vegetarian or something as well, let your chicken cook for about 10 to 15 minutes and we'll be ready to move on to the next step of this recipe. 4. Toss It All In a Pot: All right, so let's begin to work on our gluten free Federici chicken. Alfredo. So I'm gonna do here is actually don't have faded jeans. I'm just going to use Linguini. But the main thing to keep mine is that we're gonna be using race needles to make sure you have some kind of pastor. That's rice noodles. And then I worked pretty good. I'm using a boat, Half a package, you, which is roughly about 250 ounces or so Or, um, yeah, about half a pound ish kind of thing. Next up, I'm going to add about two tablespoons of nutritional yeast. And this is what really makes this recipe really bring out, brings out the flavors and stuff like that. You can usually find a health food store or something like that. A little bit expensive, but it does last quite a while, and it does make this recipe taste really good. Next up, we're gonna add about a cup of coconut milk you can use can coconut milk or coconut milk that comes in a carton or a Tetra Pak. Either one works pretty good here and next up, we're gonna add a little bit of olive oil sickened roughly about two tablespoons. That should be good to go. Next up, we're gonna add some chicken broth. You can use chicken broth, veggie broth, whatever you really got on hand work pretty good. And just stick about two cups in there should be enough and last. But at least I'm gonna add a little bit of sea salt to the pot as well. That's pretty much it are. Part is good to go. We just got a few more ingredients and a recipe is well on its way. The next thing you want to do is we're gonna start chopping up the garlic. I'm going to use about three cloves of garlic here, and they're going to use my knife to kinda squish them so I could take the skin off. And when you chop garlic, you kind of want to be really, really careful because it's kind of tricky to chop just because it's so small. Can a pew off the skin here? It's low it tricky sometimes and cut off the edges of the gerlich. We can discover those since we don't need them, and then next up, I'm gonna mince up our girl like really, really well here. So be really careful. Don't cut off your fingers, make nice, smooth little cuts here. And then you convince it up Really well here, too. And that's pretty much most of the chopping for this recipe. The only thing I'm gonna be using is garlic. The other thing we're gonna have to do is chop up the chicken. So if you guys are watching this video, I usually do like, kind of while the chicken is cooking. I kind of do this prep work to help save some time and just make this recipe a little bit faster to make. But it's pretty straightforward. I gotta make This is probably one of the easiest recipes to make. All right, sir, Garlic is good to go. Scoop it all appear the best we can and stick it in our pot we had earlier. And then once our gallery garlic is good to go when you start actually chopping up the chicken and now you see that the chicken is still a little bit pink. But that's perfectly fine, because once we talked to chicken into the pot, it's gonna cook for a bit. So it's gonna cook the chicken, and it kind of finish it up. So if you're chicken is a little bit pink, that's okay. What kind of finish it up here in the pot. And this stops us from over cooking the chicken. So it's still nice and juicy in the recipe. I'm gonna kill up in nice, low strips here and then kind of cut it up into little squares. They're not to be too too small. Something like this will work perfectly fine. Be really careful. If you're chicken is hot, is it? Will burn your fingers. And, of course, don't try not to chop any fingers off as you do this as well. All right, so it's looking pretty good. You can now take our chicken and Tustin in the pot, and once that's all done, we can take everything we have here, and we're gonna toss it on the stove and finish cooking up a recipe 5. Cooking Our Gluten Free Pasta: All right. So our chicken is cooked here and we stuck everything in her pot. It's now time to actually start clean our recipe. And this is what I love about this recipe because it's so simple a cook. So I'm gonna go ahead and mix everything together here really quickly and you'll notice that the chicken is just a little bit pink. But that's OK, because we're gonna cook it all together and it will finish it up. I'm going to stick our pot on about medium heat and I'm gonna cover it here. And what you want to do is cook it for about 10 15 minutes. And you noticed that the noodles and the liquid and everything will kind of expand together and really make it thick here, and you'll see every couple minutes you want to come back and just kind of give it a quick stir and just keep an eye on it. Um, usually it takes a boat. Like I said, 50 minutes or so, and you should be good to go stick the lid back on here and we'll come back to again. So our chicken off radio here is looking pretty good it's almost quite done. But I'm just gonna kind of finish it up here because as that can assist in the pot afterwards, it's gonna kind of finish up. So if it's a little bit not quite done, it's gonna be OK to eat, because once assists on the plate and stuff, it'll kind of soft in up so we can see here. It's thinking about Uprooting pretty good, and it's pretty much ready to serve. I'm just gonna do a few things here. First of all, I'm gonna add some salt, and I'm also going to go in and add some pepper just for flavor. Stick that in really quickly, have a pinch of salt. And I'm also gonna add some dill for flavor flavoring as well. If you have parsley, slant, trow or any dry herbs, you can add that as well because that'll kind of spice up the flavoring pretty good. And lastly, I'm gonna grab my spoon again and mix it all together so that all the spices and everything is gonna be mixed together and our recipe it's pretty much done here.
