1. Intro: hello and welcome to the V S. D. C course now in the score. So we will simply get started with the S. D. C editor. Now, mind you, the editor is almost completely free. They're awesome. Advanced features that would be paid as well as the paid options give you a bit off speed. OK, but other than that, it is really free. It will be as free as you can find. You can't really find anything as free as this one, and it's really a great to to learn. You can add effects, and that is what we will learn. You can also come for video cut parts of the video, and that is what we will learn. We will learn adding different effects cutting bots of video, merging some videos together, which is quite easy, actually, and then splitting the sound, adding effects on the sound on the video, different effects, all that we will learn. And after finishing this course, you will definitely be able to edit your videos in a proper manner in a quite a professional way, actually, so without for the wasting time, let's get into the course 2. Overview: Lo in this lecture will take a look and start with the very basics Orpheus disease. We would just take a look at the layout at how you start your project. How Teoh establish everything as well as with sections in the actual editor. It was a very important. So I would suggest not to skip this one because it will be easier later toe, understand where everything goes and why. Let's start with our main screen, the in true screen, whatever you want to call it. And as you can see, we have some start project now options. We have blank project with grief slideshow, import video, captured screen capture all these different things. But normally it would want to go with simply a blank project. This is really the best option. You don't really wanna mess with anything else now, in this case, as you can see, 1/2 pro addition, but you could have a free version. Pretty much allows UAL the basic tools with really nothing to be worried about that, But the pro addition at the basic level will give you a better exportation speed and I would talk a bit about the exportation off your file later in this course. Now let's get into the blank projects that you just click on that like lad you see. And then this whole thing pops up like that. Let's see, we have project settings and says we have for project kind. Also, you can enter your title if you want. I'll leave it Project one. And in fact, this is what I normally would dio. I wouldn't really name it anything. It doesn't really matter. In the end of the day, you just want to save it, probably in the right folder and have your video files in that. Same for this. Well, that where you can easily find everything with little effort. And then, of course, you have some other details again. Anto Publisher, author, Some description and the date if you need that. But the important part hair Is this resolution a case of you want to do the right resolution and the right frame rate. If you're doing 1920 10 80. This one. Okay, 16 9 If you're doing that, you should have that kind of video prepared. Okay. If you do not have that kind of video, have a lower resolution one, you should select lower resolution and whites, Aversa. Okay, so this is very important. As far as the sound is concerned, it's usually good bind if audition really look into much the sound and the background. The background is basically what is shown behind the video. Okay, so we would take a look at that a bit later. Doesn't really matter right now. I can click. Finish on. My project will be established. Ok, so now we have this whole project window came Onda. The most important part I would say are these layers. Okay, it's even last. Now this is where would drag and drop or insert a video file or any kind of a file, right? A sound, an image or whatever it may be, this is where they will be. And you have these different less. Ah, you might have some things playing at the same time All one after another, following each other, always different options. They came now, after that, if you want to play your video a cape to kind of preview what you have done, you have this little button. Okay, on this one if you want. But what This allows you is to select different resolutions now. It's all great and good of your editing at then 80. Okay, is great. Okay, But you do want to preview on 7 20 because otherwise you won't get that smooth play in the Previa. It won't be smooth it all. And you probably won't understand what you have done. It would just be a hassle. We will take a look at matter a bit later in this course. Now, after this, we can get to the other side to the other side, and then we have this properties window. Okay, this properties window, the this is chance for the whole project of hope from background. What? We sat in the initial initialization off a project. OK, but if you had selected different objects such a video, you would ah, work of a video went it's created in that project, some other video related things. And if you would select some kind of an effect, zoom in, zoom out. You would be able to select the levels of zoom in and stuff like that. Okay, so this is where the details of your object would dio Now, after that, we have some off these steams came. We would take a bit later. Deeper. Look into the scenes, but most of the time it's probably easier to work on one scene. Okay, Robin merch together several once, but we'll take a look at that. And this is where you will have that seen Explorer and inside some other objects you could explore here as well. But I personally would prefer now, I would suggest to work on this less, uh, gamble, whatever you wanna call it. Okay, After that, we have these low tools, right? Handsome two boxes. These free, I would say up be most important, this one. If you click that it will add a videos of you select from your file explorer. You select the video, and it would be inserted. The same goes for the sound and full images with lost one is an image. Okay. Above that, we have Ah, subtitles. We won't be looking at some titles, but of a different topic. But we do have tax and texas quite important. You will probably use it quite often. The other stuff for these drawing objects again. We'll take a look at Mama's well, but most of the time I would say, You will be using a rectangle. Okay. Now, other than that, we have this editor tab in which we won't really get too much. Okay? We pretty much will be doing everything in villas. And then we have this view again. This is not something you should concern yourself with. You should mostly focus on that lab. You lay a Taber, Which or would you prefer? And then we have this edit. The edit isn't really exciting her but it will be useful for with tax that I will show you how it works. So And of course, finally, we have the export project with says where you would export your project so you would select all the settings. Then you would go to the bottom. Perhaps a change. A few things here will take a look at this. With will be one of the final lectures. And one thing to note, when you create a project, you don't actually save it to your file Explorer. You don't save it to your hard drive. What you need to do? If you want to save a project, go to this little file bottom right hair. Go ahead and then you see the safe project as now you see, it's not. It's actually disabled right now, but the reason is because I am in the export project tab. There's nothing to worry about. If you go into export project, they will be disabled. If you go back to the editor, I can go back right hair and it's now enabled, and I could select it. So that's all for the initial overview will get to some more exciting things in the next lecture. 3. Cutting: Now we can take a look at the cutting and splitting, which is very important, right? We will. Trying Teoh actually cut some the beginning part and the ending for for this course a K for this lecture, rather in one of my courses. So I have this lecture services Israel world as it Gattis is actually a really lecture. So I'm gonna take it. I'm gonna take it. I'm gonna track it. As you can see, I'm just dragging file into my last and it will show up. It will show up, as you can see. Didn't take too much time. This is the 10 minute video, I do believe. Yes, it is. So if he doesn't take too much time to just drag it and drop it and I have this thing right and the good thing about this whole arrangement that I can actually somewhat preview this, okay, I can You can do a little bit of a preview Now again, this may sometimes be useful. Miss may not really be useful, you know, to it really depends on on the way you look at it. And what will you have? Ah, whole video arranged Because if you're gonna see if you have seen it does kind of change depending on the size of bees. So let's trying to cut and split. Now you should hear it. A case I'm gonna do. Cutting and splitting. Let's see, we have cutting and splitting. So what I do a right click like that. You see a right click on the video on the object, and then you have cutting and splitting right here. So you click on that and another little box shows up like that. This one. Now this is where we do our cutting. So what I would do is I would run it right, or I would picks a specific sport from which approximately I want to cut and then I choose that. So let's run it. Hello. In this lecture we will learn how to bind, how to bind the variables to various input fields and then also how to execute a method and how to execute it in a couple of different ways. Okay, so we will try a few things and, as you can see, with some code already written because of the love writing and we don't want to waste time on writing. We want but learned details. So you have seen you have heard rather about 31 seconds off a introduction. Now say I do not want this introduction. Okay? I do not want this introduction. So what I will do? It has stopped now and I think it's a fine place to cut it. So you see this service Blue kind of line going here? Marca. Right. So you the let that or rather hover on it And you see, with the extension pointer So what I would do? I would try and get to the left. A case of now, this area is ready for cutting a cape. And to do that, I cut region it seem now it's got if I playing now. So, first of all, what we have here is you see now it starts from that particular place to which I did the cutting. It doesn't start from the original one. Mind you, this is not the end of the process. This is very important. You must not forget. You see, I have this, uh, cutting areas, cut areas rather and this is great to see, but it won't actually be cut until you apply changes, you see, Apply changes the out click that on. Then I get this pop up. What you need to do is click. Yes, you have to. If you do not click, yes, nothing will be caught. So I clicked. Yes. And now if I play this video. So first of all, what we have here is you see, it works perfectly. It did God perfectly. I'm gonna turn that off. That this is kind of a basic cutting. Now, if I get back to it, I go to cutting and splitting like that. I can remove. Remove area off, deleting the Now I get back to this. Ah, to be his red markets into my little area, like right here, which I marked and it has now returned. Okay. I can apply changes once again. Yes. I'm gonna run it. Hello. And this lecture we will learn how to see. It works perfectly. It did change. There's nothing to be afraid off. You do the counting and you can always get back to the original. There's nothing to be worried about. Now I'm gonna show you a few more things in here, so let's get back to the cutting and splitting right hair. There are two more things to more things that you can do. Writer. We have export image and we have export audio. So image expectation isn't really that useful. I'm not even gonna talk amounted. But the exportation off audio is quite a bit important. You might want Teoh edit your audio on a different tool. Perhaps a bit more audio specific one. I want to send the audio to someone to get fixed. Okay. So you would exported. You would export it like that with Click that and you followed to get great to the main, connected yourself for Senator someone else. And then you can close it. Close everything. And in the end, what you would do, you would get that file back. It would be the same length of time as this video, and you would insert it right? Hair. So you within certain a new layer. But you would not want to have a little echo for half service e millisecond difference. Okay. You don't want that. You want Teoh silence this audio from this video. Okay. And to do that, you can see in the options and now have the video selected in the all options. We have audio track. Some videos might have one track. Some will have five tracks, perhaps different languages And what not There you see, we have track and then I can do Don't use audio. Don't think that now. If I run it, you see there's no audio, there's no audio. Now, if you do want to for some reason split these two toe have in these lesser one DiDio and one on the ole. You can do that as well. We just simply click this bottom right hair and its place it or you. I came, and as you can see, it automatically selects that don't use audio, became use audio and then maybe give it a little echo effect. If you need that, it might be something to be considered. This is basically how we cut up, how video and then in the next lectures will get to something even more interesting. 4. Insert shapes and text: hello in with lecture will try to insert some new objects into the whole thing. And for now, we just have one simple video and we want to insert something else. We'll start with a simple square rectangle. It will be actually, though, To do that, you need to select it first. And that is the right hand. See Hung the cider three little rectangular right? That is the one that want. I just clicked on it and we get this kind of an option box. So I would say, Don't mess with it all. Basically, you can choose with starting position and the ending position and all that stuff for, but there's really no point, as you would just be able to drag and drop it later. So I would just click OK like that and now I can draw it. You see, it's not yet created any who draw it first and then it will be created. Let's say I want Teoh take up half of my screen for whatever reason like that, it seems I inserted that and now is in be less okay. It's in the last like that, though this is now the top layer you see, it's a top layer above the video. Okay? And we wanted to cover the video. It covers the video. If I were to launch this like that, you can see that it does indeed have it all covered. And it goes throughout the whole video. Okay. Like that. Now, if I were to, for example, take this whole thing and bring it down. You can do it, white have of these errors. Okay. You see, it doesn't cover the video anymore. I can launch it and he see doesn't cover it anymore. Basically, in terms of this list, whichever item is on top, if they overlap, that item will cover the previous item or previous items. Okay, so this is very important, but it's quite easy to understand, sir. Basically, these arrows move them. And which hold one is on top will cover the previous one. Came a below one. These go up and down and he just go to the top or completely to the bottom. Should have loss of them. I need to move quickly. Okay. I'm gonna bring it back to the top like that. We can see it so we can also adjust it suggested on some specific time that they wanted to start it. Ah, about 10 seconds became I can drag it and drop it. And you see, it may not look very accurate. However, you can actually take a look at the mother parts. The right hands. If I select us low rectangular like that, you can you see I have Ah, I have my object creation times of this is where that whole object begins. Okay, But we also have ah duration. They're basically. If I change this, I can se Teoh maybe 30 seconds again for two Freeland who be a and I go back. Hey, see, it got extended beyond the video. It's not like dragging it. You see, if I would drag it, I can drag it back to the end of a video. It may be a bit difficult to suggestive. Precisely Need a few froze like that. But you see, if I now drag it, make it shorter, it doesn't extend. Okay, so it it starts later, but it also becomes shorter. So this is, I believe, more convenient toe, especially a voice off beginner level editing. We don't expect some studio quality year and product. This is more than good enough. You know, they're just stick to that and you will be good to go. Now I'm going to extend it a bid because I do want to add something on it and what you can also do. You see, I'm a position basically a zero position, and I don't see this rectangle. I didn't see it. If I go on the video preview, I do not see it. If I want to see it, I need to select the position on which it does exist. You see, now it does exist. Became and we have a video kind of white color. I would want to change it. Ah, the rectangle issue. So we can clearly see. And you do that in the brush issue. Have Phil backgrounds solid. You can also have great entrance, parent image pattern. And of course, we have a color village. It's, um, different color, right? How the colors Literally black. You can do okay. And it's now black. What I want to show you now is the text that tax inserting we have the stuff is quite simple. You just read it and then you draw it and you have it. Okay. The taxes a bit more tricky than let's do the taxi. Click on the text. And then you get either the counter all the tax. The counter is a counter toy encounter. Okay, so you might use it. You might not use it. I will see. You wouldn't use it, Onda. Let's see with the text. Okay, so we have text, I click on that and again he created it won't be as you can see in Dallas right away. You need to Canada. Troy drove a text box A like that. They're not. Now I can select it and write to them. I'm writing test sex like that. You see, it's in this box. It's in this box. And now how you highlighted it And to add it to attacks that you will have everything on top. It's not gonna be on the side. On the side is basic text object. Okay, so you can that where the text boxes display, jer intense of a coordinates. But I would prefer to just drag and drop it or expand it extended. And of course, the creation time and the duration is that as well that we have test axed. Okay? And if you wanna added it, you need to goto editor Tab to see if I leave it. If I leave it, I can still select it. Onda write it right that write it, write it. But I don't actually have anywhere. Teoh editor to see with nowhere to add it sotto added it. I need to go toe editor like that. You see, this is very important because you might forget about these things, and it might be a bit frustrating just looking off for it. Thinking maybe something got Stark. Or maybe the program crashed. Who knows? But it is all actually quite fine. Let's, uh let's actually leave. Just Is this text like that? Okay, I'm gonna highlight it. And we can do all kinds of things there. It's kind of like word, you know, you congenital these things. All the common things you can do subscript ah, superscript small caps, all caps, whatever kind if you want. And you can also wrap it case. If you have a law for tax, you can wrap it and then can a adjust the position? I came the horizontal and vertical as well and of course, you can make it larger like that. That's Tex actually hit a jackpot hair. Usually you need toe experiment of those values until we had the right one again. Then can do Fox board, for example. Or you can just set the weight that you want. And I can make it skinny like plant. Have you like that? I just sent it to zero. It actually did like that and then set normal in it and it gets back quite properly. So he's all the text basics, and we also have the color. Okay, If we need the color, we have a color orange Red weaken dio a si has a color. And after that we can preview my client. You see, we have it running quite perfectly indeed. And with that, we will conclude with a lecture. 5. Zoom in: hello. And this lecture will take a look at assuming in which is, of course, very important. You most definitely have to use that at some point. And let's start with something simple. I have actually prepared the bid having more advanced example to give it a little a zoom in and zoom out effect. But first of all, a simple basic zoom in you do that is simply go and choose your video, okay? Or the object that you want to so many can actually ism into taxed all the shapes as well as images. Whatever you need to zoom into, you can do it. Okay, so now I have my cursor right has sent at all. Is it around five minutes? Okay. Literate around five like that. And, uh, I'm going to right click. I'm going to right click on it. Right. And when I do resume an object, it will be an object. And it will be inside this video. This is a bit tricky, but it will be inside the video and it will be created where the curses at matter point the creation time will be there. Let's go to video effects, right. Video effects then you go. Teoh transforms, transforms and transforms. You see Zoom like that. I'm going to select that. And it offers me some options. Creation options Just like any other object. I'm gonna click, OK? And as you can see, it Waas created. It was created not to mention previously. I have a little example done previously, I assure you, And a bit later. But first of all, our simple zoom in. So we have our object, right? And I need to select it. And on the right, I will have Ah, um level. So Okay, some levels. This is the really important part of zooming in now by default. Er, since I did something previously, this is sent. But you do want to start it with a line like latency in a kind of fill any away the basically what it means it will reach mad zoom level right away. Okay? It will reach a more right away and it will be 180. Resume level. You can kind of see the preview. It's not very accurate, E, you do need to play around the for to change the value, launch a treat value. Launch it. Okay. Now At this point, we should actually get them into the middle. And I do believe if I were toe actually launch this. Hey, I can get to 7 20 You see, we have kind of zoom and quite properly. OK, but if you would need to go see to the left or to the right, this is where you would do to have the center X and center. Why lower X value would take you more to the left. Okay. And higher X value would take you more to the right. It's from 0 to 1 from left to right. At open five, it's in the middle. The same goes for the why, But why? Access goes from top to bottom. A case. So zero would be the bottom one would be the top. Okay, we can adjust, sent a little bit and try it out. See what happens. I can be like that. Okay, so let's launch that again. And as you can see, it went more to the left. More to the left and actually to the top. I do need to correct myself. I did say why goes zero ghost of a bottom zero actually goes to the top to the top, okay? And one would be more towards the bottom. But in general, you do need to play around the firm. There's no real technique. Teoh. You just try to adjust those best as you can. OK, so you need to know a couple of things the levels and then the center, X and center. Why you shouldn't borrow these X and y Level said will just make things worse. Okay, Now I want to show you a bit more of a advanced example. A pretty one, I would say. And you see, in this one, I have Ah, actually free zoom in objects. But you can seat If you do want to see it, you need to zoom in. Zoom into this Ah whole Paino again where we wanna accord you click on this Click on this and as you can see, it moves away. It moves away. So you have to a chest it have suggested and then maybe ism three man couple more times. Or you can dio with this one as well. It's a less try to get back to it. It right head is I came the the 1st 1 the 1st 1 Now this is 180. This one is 180. So let's start with this part, okay? And like that, I want to show you how it works. And now I show you how it's done. You see, it zooms in on. There is a bit of a lack time on on this previous. Okay, if I were to adjust it Ah, as I mentioned the first lecture. If I dio lower level, it's easier to see how it ran. Does he see? It's more smooth that way. Bryant. And then it goes it Go back, back out. You see, it doesn't just jump into the zoom in that final valued goes in and out the way it's done, it's first of all, You want to have the 1st 1 that goes to your desired value. A case of this one, this object would be that one. And as you can see in this levels, I'm not using a linear one. Okay, it was actually say linear, but I do believe it, says Cesar, toe for the line. One linear one, right? The when you have but line, it's simply jumps to battalion, and that's it Now when you have this kind of an arrangement where it would be this all or this or this all this right? It it goes from the first value, the second value. It goes from the first to the second, but it doesn't stop at some point. Basically, it goes for his long as man object exists, and then it jumps back to the original position. Unless unless you have an object right after that, in sequence with a static position like we've seen in the 1st 1 You see, this one is 180 it will say 880. The 1st 1 is used basically for that zooming in effect Onda 2nd 1 just days zoomed in. The last one zooms out. It gives that effect So it goes from the original now original right resumed in value 180 to the 100 Which is we truly original. Fat videophile. Okay, so the first value is with starting value. The second value is the ending value and that's how you create with little effect again, If you play around with it alot, it will be relatively easy. It's not mad difficult to do and this will definitely come in handy. And with that we will conclude with lecture 6. fade in and fade out - video: Hello In this lecture will take a look at the fading effect. Okay, so what? Fading is basically adding some kind of a transparency. Okay. And just like we've seen in some of a previous lectures, the transparency will go from one value Teoh another value. And that is how you create at fading a fact. Okay, so basically what I have hair is just a wide background. Okay, so the background is actually a rectangle. Now, this would be used when you have a video. And you want Teoh have some kind of an introductory background of the attack saying what kind of video? Which part? Perhaps it is, and then it fades into the actual video. Okay, so let's start with the rectangle and let's just create a little fade in to start with. Okay? Now, to do that, you simply right click on the object. Okay. Like that. Right. Click on it. Then you go to video effects, and then you go to transparency. And as you can see, you have Ah, some of these several options have custom transparency. Make a paige make transparent Onda. We will deal with Aidan and fade out. Okay, These are predetermined values. I can you can custom. I said that as you fade in first you see, I selected the object. And what happens is that when you do feed in or fade out, it will actually create that effect in either the beginning off the object lettuce for feeding and for feed out. It would be in the answer if my click once again on this YouTube video effects go to transparency and go to feed out. Look OK, it does it in the end. Okay, so now if I do a quick, low launch like that, you see it feed it out quite nicely. So if we take a look at this properties right, these little properties, right half you can see that the transparency goes from 100. Okay, now, 100 means it's not transparent, okay? And Syria would be completely transparent. Basically, it's not existent. It does exist at that point, but it probably will soon disappear from the whole thing. And as you can see, it's not loin. A case online goes from 100 to 0. Now, I can actually extend it like that day like that, and I would trying it in front like that and we can run it again The now it's low Now it is slower. They're just like any other effect. You have it going from 100 to 0 in this case all from some value to some value. And then the father you extend it all. Ah, the high of a dray Should you give right hair can simply insert the time it takes tow for an object to exist off the lifetime of the object. The longer it takes, the longer you'll see that they didn't or fade out. Effect. Okay, now let's Ah, just finish this And do you on, uh, next OK, on the tax as well. So again, you dio dio effects transparency fade in and then right away I can click anywhere now I'm in I'm in The text is seeing the tax tab now again I can dio fade out in this case and it will fade out now if we were Teoh take a look at that again I need to drag with Teoh The beginning actually right hand is if I go into text on dumb the idea in the beginning, off the tax and then I go to the scene It's not in the beginning off a scene in case. So if the position would be that that's a particular object, that start of that critical. The end of the obstacle, the middle of that object. But for that object, if you did in the actual object tab now I'm gonna do it right hand, sir, Let's launch it. The beautiful best would disappear now Excitement andare long fade out. They see it works quite perfectly. And as you can also see, it's quite easy to do, and in fact we will conclude this lecture. 7. fade in and fade out - audio: Hello in this lecture will take a listen to some audio. Okay, on what we will do. Take a look at how you would do a fate in and fade out effect on the audio. A case of that is on the audio. The interesting thing about the audio files is that if you drag it, if you make it smaller, it will actually kind of, uh, do a little cutting for you. Okay, so you don't actually need to do any riel carting. However, if you do need to do some cutting, you can simply right click, right click. Do you? Cutting and splitting, right? Hey, see cutting and splitting just like a video file and anything can listen to it like site. You see an and say, I don't like Let's go to the end. Let's see, just one minute off audio. Let's listen, okay. I believe that's gonna be fine. Let's cut out a sparty, see, just cut region. An energy up loin changes a bit more simplified than the video, but it's really the same thing right now to do these fade in and fade out. It's the same thing as the video is simply right click on your audio object. You go to audio effects in this case. Okay, Then you go toe amplitude and then you go to fade in and fade out as they fade in first. Okay, there's gonna be 1.5 2nd I believe if we take a look at this one. Yes, it is. Now, you see, what we have had is basically simple amplification. Okay? I was sure you later how Tujia General want to basically raise the volume off your recording or whatever it may be. Okay, so this one goes from minus 100 to 0. Okay, that's the original volume. And it see it's not a linear value. Will take a look at the linear one as well that if I launched that, in effect, we can actually extend it and make it a bit longer. That a few second, maybe. Yeah, Let's do it. I see it gets louder, It gets louder and louder, and we can do a fadeout as well. It's pretty much the same thing. Okay, so let's see audio effects amplitude and then fade out. Just like that. Should be fine is a little bit longer, just so you can actually hear it happen? Some audio farmers. You will notice it a bit more. Cem. A bit less. Okay. SZ 7 20 We went out quite smoothly. So this goes from zero to minus 100 which basically makes a silent. Okay, Andi, search one Ghosts from minus zero to mine has 100 rather to zero. Now let's try toe amplify it somewhere. Okay? They just can raise that volume. You go Teoh again Audio. Thanks. And then you do amplitude and then amplify became There is also an option to silence what that does. It basically silences a case. It will be complete silence wherever that little object is inserted in that audio object. Okay, in that audio town, it is the amplify and like that is trying it somewhere in the middle. Wants the middle. Okay, and let's see now it's zero, though. Let's see, we want to make it perhaps a bit more silent. Ok, but more quiet. You have to go quite far, actually, to see any kind of a difference. But again, it depends on on the audio file And what not? Let's see if a network sound you see now it got toe a bit more silent. It's still playing in the background, but you can actually talk over red Todo lo introduction and and talk over it and then let it play again. There you see, it works quite perfectly and these things are really used for If you again do some introduction, you need some background noise happening. But you need Teoh perhaps a introduce the introduction of some higher volumes. So you do that and then what? You can dio it's simply do another feeding not a full faded. And so say for example, I can call p this like that and do it in front of this one. Okay, so Eva says, uh is what, minus 38 OK, so as you can see, it's going toe s awful. Any evaluates one value. If I would do it non linear, it would be just that same old fade and fade out effect. It's I'm gonna go into this fade in it can like that's and, uh actually, I need a fade out. I'm just gonna change with with values. Damage is gonna change them. I'm gonna inset that one. Let's see what's happening right now. If it does work properly, you see it. Did God silent? Ah, a bit more smoothly in this case. So again, it all depends on different files. You do need a work amounted. You need a chance that quite properly it's not very easy to do, but it is possible to do and the actual mechanism off. It is really quite simple. You basically have a couple of values and you adjust them accordingly. And with that we will conclude this lecture. 8. Spin: hello in with, like show. Show you how Teoh apply or rather establish a spinning affect on a object. Okay, this could be applied on an image on any kind of an object, like a wheel on or a caw GTA many different applications for it, and it's not very straightforward. So I have already prepared it. I have prepared the spinning effect, and I can actually launch this. You see it spinning this green? Ah, low circle is spinning the sea. So now let's take a look at how it's done. Okay, so this is just a circle and jalape shape. That would be this one right half. Okay. The ad in that I made it completely round, okay? And, uh, added a Grady int background. And that's it. Really. Okay, so it's Ryan hair, and behind it, we have this rectangle. This rectangle is basically the wide background. Okay, that we have direct angle and we have the shape of shape is what is interesting. So if I double click it, I would see all the properties for that shape. And as you can already see, I have rotate, rotate, rotate, rotate, rotate, rotate. I can't have six of them now to create a rotation. One rotation, you need to right click either inside hair in the Ellipse. Okay, right. How we have the ellipse on reality lives Right hand became weakened it right half You're right, click man. You go to video effects, then you go to transforms, and then you go to rotate. Okay, Now, mind you, this rotation will only happen once. Okay, so it will only happen once. And if I select save the 1st 1 for example, I go to the properties of it right hand. And as you can see, we have this linear parameter but is not line. Remember, the line would be something that happens instantly. So if I used a line in with selection and I did free 60 it would just rotate instantly, which is show basically a different position. Okay, It wouldn't be very exciting now, with this kind of her rising line. What happens is we start at a zero angle and we get to free 60 a k free 60. Now, the time that it takes is regeneration off the object that will get to from zero to free 6300 and 60 degrees in about one second. Or you can simply extend one of these objects, okay, and that will determine the speed of irritation. So one of them rotates. Once a kid rotates once one of them. Then I add in the sequence a 2nd 1 which is actually the same properties. Okay, 0 to 60 like that. And then this one will rotate again. The this one rotates a full circle, and then it gets to this one, this one again. Rotate a full circle and gets the 3rd 1 and then to the 4th 1 to 1/5 1 to the 61 The longer we take to rotate, the slow of whole thing will be, the quicker they rotate. Or the short of this object is, the quicker Babel wrote date. Okay, now again, if I launched that again, you see it's spinning, It's spinning, it's spinning, it's spinning. It's spinning. Now, if only would Teoh say, changed the speed a little by plant ID like that, right? Make a very quick and up rotation. We will barely be able to see it, but it should be good enough. It's a show you a quick little example. So let's say you see how quickly it spun? Lawrence said again from Don't Hey, it stops. And now we get to slow one. It's been slowly, though, you see you can change the speeds. And again, one simple object, One simple effect Object rather only does so much if you want to some to have something really interesting and exciting. You need to use several object, perhaps even different types off objects to really create that need effect match you require. So this is how you do rotations and refined. We will conclude this lecture. 9. Visual effects: hello. And this lecture will take a look at some visual special effects. Okay, so we have Ah, and load dext and direct angle. This is from Blank Show where we saw fade in and fade out. Okay, this is from the same lecture. Bees are with the cadence and fade outs. And I wanted to give you something familiar because doing this stuff is actually relatively simple, but it can be tricky. It actually make it look somewhat beautiful. Okay, so what I'm gonna do, first of all, on the rectangle, I will add some little fire. Okay. The what you do is you, right? Click. You're right. Click on your object on which you want applying that effect, you go to video effects, and then we see you have this special f x special effects on DA. You have firewater smoke, plasma TV and all that stuff for the last zero Fire like that. Okay, let's see how it, uh, what it looks like. B l o fire. Now before I is Ah, quite cheap looking. I would say it's not perhaps to be best thing to put out on the whole thing. However, if you do have some little image, perhaps a little logo. You can really capitalize on this effect and read a little flame. It shouldn't be a both sides like this one because it just looks cheap. You don't want to do that. But on little image on little object, it may look around the decent again. The visits verify. I'm gonna actually delete if I doesn't make sense. But what you can do is do these aging effects. That case if I go back to the dio of thanks and go to it, but sure facts, right. Have a smoke, Klansmen with any have beast TV effects. Ah, these are quite interesting. You have aging, broken, random dots, terrier on noise. Let's do aging. Aging is, uh, its role. Either That's one way of doing you can play around with them. And again, I just based it right? Like plant gonna run it the sea. Now you may notice if I run that again. The best is not affected. Receive a text. The attacks test is not affected. It's only applied to the background s. So this is something. Do you consider right? But I can actually apply something to the tax as Well, okay, So only to the text. Let's see video of facts and let's say let's see a little water, perhaps. Okay. Why not? See? See how that works out? Let's run it. You see, we don't really get to see much of that water Risch kind of benefactor. But the text does actually change now in the properties in this Kato have ah, block, radius and blob, Heitor. But again, it's all according to your preferences. It's your decision. You have to really play a round of her stuff. You want to make it work mud wording, and really probably make it happen. Hair is we're fire. Okay, So I was a bit more exciting, I would say and have fired Sean services. How often it would kind of re a pair. The flames will change and fluctuate And what not? And then you have the height. So this is how high the flame will go. We can do a little higher clad 65 maybe a cane. And then you have some of this call efficiency. Flame is ready. Basically, if it starts to right away, if it kinda goes up a little. Okay, let's run it. See how it works. It's seen our text is burning. It's a nice floor fact. Ah, again, you shouldn't get too much into them. But from time to time we will work out quite perfectly. And with that we will conclude with lecture. 10. Movement: Hello In this lecture will take a look at some bit off movement for the objects. Okay. And what I have in this case is a doing a little line. And what I'll make in this case is all. Make the line move. Okay, It will move, Say, low animation off sorts. And now you may have fought already amounted. So you may have tried. It's already and you may have failed because it can be a bit tricky to actually find out how it works. OK, so I have it hair and let's see, my goal is to move it to the other side. Okay, Just like that. So what I need to do to make it happen is I actually need to go into this line, object to the SAB, I go in hair, and then you see, I have this. It's now green. If I go out is gray, and it's not clickable. It seems like a doesn't work. But what you actually need to do is go to in tow into that specific object. And only after that you can select it. Okay, so once you selected you again, created as a new object, this is a bit more of an on off a dock subjected gay as we have starting and in a shame, we actually it adroit. Okay, so you draw the line that basically movement line exact draw, draw, draw a bit difficult to get it straight. But it is indeed possible it came. Now with the premium version, you can actually do more than not just like a one line singular movement that you can do is this place and then to another place and then back, maybe kind of like a nonlinear move on. Right? But basically, what we get is a starting point and then the ending point it's like that there. Let's move that like that because it would be the whole duration for the object. We don't want that. Is it free? Second shift so we can actually see it. And you don't have to start it right awake and move a starting boy. So the red is starting point. The yellow is an ng point, OK? It's for the timeline Kill. Is it like that? And let's launch it, the moose it moves quite perfectly. I'm gonna show you full size. You see, it moves, it moves it moves that moves? No. Ah, it can be a bit tricky. And even if you use Ah, the pro version. I would not suggest getting into several off these. OK, I'm not even gonna get into that right now. It will become rather complex. And also, what happens? This Ah, when you create these when you establish Lee is you can't really change your length of this object anymore because it will get messed up if you change it. So, first of all, you really have Teoh figure out. How long is that object going to stay on your video? OK, and only after implement There is animations reserve Very tricky. He's a very tricky and difficult. So do be careful again, just like everything else with the mechanics of it, toe be setting it up isn't and difficult, but doing it in a proper way s so do be careful. It does give ah really good torches off dynamic touch to your whole video. But sometimes that just isn't worth the time. And before that said we will conclude with lecture 11. Exporting: Hello and with naturalistic. A look at the exportation. Okay. And this is one of a previous lectures. Just a simple radio. We won't actually do the expectation. And look what we got afterwards with no point in it. You do have a preview for man, but I do want to show you a few things. How to find your way around this whole arrangement. First of all, what you have to decide is what kind of file format you want? My advice you would be is to use either MP four. Okay? And before all you can use lb for matter que so em before would be in Deb. Andi would be in PC like lad. He you get these categories. Okay, we do these categories. Eso this one. Okay, this one is a good one. Definitely. And then you have B and before and before is perhaps a bit more widely accepted. Okay. And, uh, usually, what you end up of your recording will be with the f. L V. This is's not the best for mantises really accepted. It's a bit tricky to deal with, though. It's one of the abbey or the end before now. After that once you decided on your file, you'll need Teoh. Select this profile. Okay, so you have some predetermined ones. But if you go edit profile, you basically have all the choices You need. A chill disposal. Now this is Axl. Would X would we? Don't want an atom. Basically, what you want to deal with is this one HD six or a V C A. Dawns video. Cody, this is what you want to deal with. This is available for both Abby and and before. Okay, so you select that it's like that and then you want to do or rather check for a couple of things possible. The resolution. It should be original. Okay. Should be original the resolution. Because sometimes it may be low. And then which its waste time waiting for it to export. And you get e terrible quality video. Terrible. Terrible, Terrible. We will be now after that. After that, you need to go into configure. Damn. So I would say unless you actually understand with stuff, Don't touch it. Okay. Except except for this Ah, without exploration, h w acceleration. What you want to do is select UAL graphics God with which you will accelerate and you will probably get it exported faster. Although it doesn't really work that way all the time. Beaumont There's no harm in and trying, and basically it will use more. Resource is from your video Can't rather than your central processing unit CPU Okay, the we can do NVIDIA acceleration, right? And then you have Esprit said. But what? You really wanna take a look at its this quantity? Tizer. Okay, so you want to talk, get quantity wiser and you want to sent maximum quality. Having said that, if you do have a truly high quality recording, if you have bad, you may and dump of a terribly large file and I'm talking terribly launch from the 400 megabytes. He went up with two gigabytes, so it can be really insane toe if you want. If you want to save some bit of space, you might go to say maybe, Why off? Okay, maybe five like that. This may not seem like a lot, but you see, even if I do to free from one gigabyte, it might actually go down to, like 800 megabytes, 700 megabyte. Even so, this little detail kind of for froze away can really help you save some decent amount off space. But basically that's how you set it up. And then you apply the profile a apply the profile, and then you create the outward fiery select where it is out. But it basically, that's all. That's all you need to do. And, of course, you can browse online search for these different options. Which one is perhaps a better for your particular kind of video, your particular recording? Their off course. You can do some exploring, but this will be good enough if you don't have time to waste for that, and with that, we will conclude this lecture.
