Project Description

Create a logo representing your personal brand

ASSIGNMENT

Create a logo that represents your personal brand. This assignment will not only allow you to flex your muscles in Illustrator, but will challenge you to personally conceptualize imagery and type that represents you or something you want to create. You will master the essentials of the tool, and actually create that beautiful logo that's been floating around in your head, challenging yourself to visually and succinctly represent yourself. The purpose of Illustrator is to give you efficient tools to execute your creative vision, which is exactly what you'll be doing with this project.

DELIVERABLE

Upload your simple logo. A finished logo includes:

  • A representation of yourself
  • Shapes & lines
  • A typographic element
  • A brief description of your logo and how it represents you or your personal brand

BONUS SERIES CHALLENGE: Create a Brand System

For all of you more advanced illustrators out there, I have a challenge for you! You will incorporate the lessons and Illustrator features from this entire series and create a whole new brand system that includes:

  • Brand logo
  • Brand colors
  • Brand pattern
  • Web page or package design for your brand
